So if you're still looking to buy a bit of quality,
we don't know enough to bite. You have it for free.
Do you have to pay their wages? Of course.
Yeah. Because there are still free agents out there,
they're a number of free agents because there are still three agents
out there that are a number of free agents and good players that your club could still snap
of differing ages as well, which I find. interesting, isn't it? Because that's obviously changes the length of contract. Yes.
So joining us now as you did throughout the window,
Quaker Farry football correspondent transfer expert here on H&J. You're right, Quaker.
Hello, Quaker. Good.
Thank you. How are you guys getting on?
Yeah, very good. Thanks. Yeah, Dean Adrian Rabio there at among the players
on the list was quite an interesting one. There are some good players still left on the free agents list. As I look, I'm into the marshal as far
as I know it's still available. Memphis is, as he has been snapped up yet.
Joel Matip is another player. so obviously, I don't know if he puts these guys in the box. Are not Quaker?
Yeah, It's an interesting one there. I think they're going to start to be the development
of a mini window between when the transfer window closes and then when the final squad submissions are
for the Premier League, which this year is the 14th of September. We've seen a lot of players running down their contracts. If you look at Liverpool's three key men
and in most style, I try to answer all of them. They're all heading into the last year of their contract. Obviously, killing them back they went to Ramajid
the most famous free agent of all time possibly that wasn't necessarily a free deal though. There are so many fees involved, but there is a window
between now and the 14th of September where a lot of clubs, if they're short in a few areas can look at free agency,
you mentioned that they've all got Adrian Rubio who perpetually has been linked with Manchester United
over the last couple years. Recently left Juventus is a very, very good player start
for France at the boroughs, and if any team near the centreman's field that can do a lot of move box to boxing is technically gifted, then you would
that you could find a lot worse than Adrian Rubio. You also mentioned anti Martial team up a lot of these players on the sort
of either been Ninja Manchester United or used to play for Manchester United, but Martial is a far-craft
and player that had the balance in his contract when you start for Manchester United in 2015, by a player who can't put the ball
in the back of the net as fell to really find a home over the last couple of years, so
if there's team who's short for striker and Martial definitely someone can lead the line
for these in the last right to the voting is now a free agent as well, and I'm not I know he's not
getting any youngest but sort of he five, but still if you just wanted someone here. You know how many school goals that a lot
different clubs at the top level, isn't he? At various levels. Whether it's stoker by me in the end, I'd rely
on our chief modes and school goal. Last couple of bi Munich was let go of who left on the free transfer this summer
and he's looking for a club. He's 35 years old though that I'll do for most
and he's in the twilight of his career, but like you mentioned, he will go to various levels
and if there's a side that's looking for a striker that can maybe provide that backup option
and then you can do it again with similar to a rabbit or similar to other players on list, you can do a lot worse than cheaper motin
who I do think can still provide something for a football club. Maybe not the start of week in week out,
but as a backup he's definitely can serve and serve a purpose. Is there a common theme with
these players, do they quite good? Do they sort of value themselves higher than clubs. What you think it is
that means they haven't got the team? There's various reasons for free agents being available at this point. A lot of them, it's either there towards the back end
of their 20s or early 30s or mid 30s, so you very rarely get top free agents who are
in their early 20s or mid 20s or in the prime with their career. Some of these players on this list have suffered
for injuries, I'm looking at playing like Joel Matip, who was great for Liverpool but suffered an ACL injury
during the 23 24 season and just felt to get back to the place
that you need to get to a Liverpool move in another direction. There's various reasons for why players are allowed
to run their contracts down. Again, we've talked about Rabio talked about anti-martial,
maybe playing Memphis the pie felt to really find a home of C, pay for Manchester United also play on Barcelona in recent years, was they go back to come and dread this summer. There's no repairs that haven't really settled normally on pretty high wages as well,
so it's pretty difficult for any size to match their age demands. A player that I am really interested in knows Matt Swamu's,
I think he elected for Germany at the Euros, he was linked
with bright and early on in the window that materialized, but we saw how good he was
in the Champions League for British Adortment. They got all the way to final and I look at the effect that someone
like a Chicago Super had on Chelsea for those three or four years, he was at the Football Club,
of course he was part of his best way to provide that experience and a lot of the Chelsea defenders learn of equipment. He's a player that's one all in the form
of Matt Swamu's both club level and international level, so I am surprised that nobody snapped him up
because I do think he can still provide the service for a decent club, year and like I mentioned, I think he could have done a job
for Germany at the Euros as well. We've mentioned a few veterans, so finally let's have a look
at Brandon Williams who got games at United a few years back, he could be going low in Norwich. It's been some time he's been released by Manchester United
and you kind of feel it, here's what is he 23 24 or something like that, still plenty of time for him. 24 years old, the thing he's got Brandon Williams
as like you said, he's on loan that it's which last season. I just think he has that quality to play
at the top end club in the Premier League. He's got a lot of energy, he puts an attack
before we fight to the shirt and when he broke through Manchester United a couple of years ago,
you thought that he may be a squad player or somebody who could contribute in terms of competition
or coming bench, hasn't necessarily worked out for him over the last couple of seasons. He finds himself about a club and like I mentioned,
so he plays on this free agent list I'm linked to Manchester United, play for you man. She's knighted or yeah, have previously had links
of Manchester United and Brandon Williams is a player that I think can possibly find the home in the championship. When it comes to top Premier League clubs, he might struggle
because at it's what you wasn't the guarantee starter in the championship last season. Yeah, well, quite good to talk to you guys.
Thank you for joining us. Okay, guys.
Can we go a tomorrow? They're looking at some of the free agents that could
still be snapped up by you. I mean, obviously the danger of is anything happens to if you're training to get fit or trying to keep fit
and, you know, you break down all day with a club on you. God forbid, you get an injury.
There's no cover. You're on your own, aren't you? You know, I wish all those players well
because I'm sure a lot of them are not going to get back in the game and he was gonna be asking about and I saw a piece about quite a lot
of players playing in these PFA range matches. So yeah, Carl Jenkins and the old Arsenal players involved
at Ravel Morrison was just to get eyes on and playing so people don't forget that they're out there. And the play stay fit, they're around other players aren't they? All those things. It's an interesting thing, Carl Jenkins and popping
into drive on Thursday anyway. Nice telling you more about that
so yeah, make sure we tune in.
