Cowboys Break: Around the Corner | Dallas Cowboys 2024

the following is a production of dallascowboys.com and the dallascowboys football club how [Applause] about let's go baby are you ready for a break yes are you ready for a break absolutely ready for a break yeah and um so much for that it's time for the break on dallascowboys.com we were on a break with ambar Garcia Brian brus Nick Harris and Derek Eagleton welcome back guys to the break presented by LG uh this is episode something something we'll ask Derek on the next show we're about to Let it Loose no boss around no boss crazy in here Derek uh he is in the building but he's busy with other stuff doing boss things but we got Brian brus and Nick Harris and we're going to start off the show by talking about some of the recent most recent addition to the practice squad and we got a a cornerback and a defensive tackle Phil Hoskins and then the cornerback amanii Oru you got it you nailed it or no that's not uh so the Cowboys yeah they add two uh two players to the practice squad this morning um am Oro warier and Phil Hoskins so we'll start with Oro warier he was a fifth round pick of Detroit back in 2019 had six interceptions for the Lions back in 2021 so he's he's got this Ball Hawk ability that that works in coverage and he's physical he has this plus length at 6'2 200 lb um I remember him coming out he was a fifth round pick I remember him coming out and being a guy who just had these freakishly long arms and um whenever the lions were trying to figure out their cornerback depth and they were still trying to rely on Auda a little bit maybe more than they should have Ora warier was a guy who stepped up and was able to actually create some turnovers for them but last couple years he's seen kind of a decline this is why he's ended up on the practice squad if you're looking at it from the Cowboys perspective it's just more depth to have I mean you're not going to have donon Bland for at least four weeks you would maybe expect maybe even a week or two longer than that uh if his foot fracture does not heal in time um so he's just ated depth in case another injury were to pop up on that uh in that cornerback room I mean you do have Trayvon dig still coming back off of his ACL injury kin Carson's going to be stepping in as a rookie um what do you think about Oro warier in that addition Brian yeah you know with uh and you mentioned this is this is kind of in a response to Eric Scott getting claimed you know this is this is one of those where you kind of had a plan that you were going to bring Eric Scott back and then he gets claimed and now you're having to kind of okay who's the next best you know you you've uh Jerry initially said that going to look for any Otherside audition yeah I didn't you know I felt like that you know Eric Scott there were times where he was very good and then there were other times where you know he just wasn't good enough to make your 53 off the Jump uh you know had some others that that played really really well um you know I think with Mamu and you know you just kind of look at him and you're like there were times where he was very very good and the flexibility that he has but this was a you know when you it's that's the pro Department's job go out look at other teams our guy here is from Jacksonville I believe is where he was uh is where they got him from off the waivers so yeah it's you know you're you're doing the best you can to kind of uh uh you know piece together your practice squad the fact now that you have 16 bodies the the you know the covid period gave us that the it gave us the elevations they have done so much good things with the practice squad the NFL office has so yeah you know you got to take advantage of your guys the elevations you can use and uh I you know I I think that the you know you just take a look and if it's good enough fine you keep practicing if it's not you just keep shuffling guys off and on that thing it's a it's a great tool to kind of to kind of help your team uh get through some some tough times and but also what exactly what the word is practice you know that's what you need these bodies for as well yeah and the other addition Phil Hoskins 6'5 35lb defensive tackle from what I could tell uh more so three Tech work that I I've seen him play but only 13 games of career experience through three years he was a seventh round pick of the Panthers back in 2021 this is just another added depth reason you mentioned that being response to Eric Scott this is probably the response to Justin Rogers going to Cincinnati the Cowboys lose their seventh round pick to the Bengals so you know this is just a big time guy I say big time from sizewise uh to to bring in uh but now the Cowboys are at 17 practice squad spots they signed dvin cook this morning they get that extra spot because of Denzel Dax being an international pathway program player as a native of the Bahamas so the the roster is full we're we're ready to roll 70 Players let's let's get after it yeah and you know to go back about Justin Rogers uh just talking to some folks in the organization you know everybody was interested in having Justin Rogers back you know there was there was some there was some like hey you know we want to have him back and I think now it's kind of working on wait why you know why'd you go why'd you leave maybe opportunities maybe he sees what's going on with the the defensive tackles ahead of him they bring in you know all these veteran guys to to um to be a part of the the 53 and he's kind of well maybe I go to Cincinnati have another opportunity but I know just talking to guys they were interested in bringing him back it was his decision to to move on to Cincinnati and you know but they really didn't have a a real good handle why that he moved on I I'll say this Nick I don't know in ambar when we when we watched him I think it was a pretty darn good seventh round pick yeah when and and and and maybe it hurts you a little bit now and you guys see if you agree with me on this maybe it hurts you a little bit now with the situation with the coach and a lot of things with the roster and stuff this is kind of a win now team if this was big picture if maybe Mike McCarthy had had an extension and you know the coaching staff were you know only two years into a five-year deal maybe this is one of those things where you say we're keeping Justin Rogers here you know we're keeping him we're going to we're going to we're going to think big picture here and Dallas has always done a that they've always they don't generally put their draft picks out on the street like that so this is something a little bit different for them to do but they got put into this situation but you're in a you're in an organization now that's thinking about we have to do things now because there's you know when this time next year if we're all here talking about this it could be totally different with the roster the coaches everything about it can be completely different maybe that's why you lose a guy like um you lose a guy like Justin Rogers because you put him out there yeah he's going to a practice squad yeah you could probably go get him but then Cincinnati will battle you for him but I'm just thinking of big picture things I found another thing kind of funny that Kansas City took two of your players here's the two-time defending Super Bowl champs and you make a trade with them for hinders shot and then they pick up Eric Scott you're thinking like wow if I was sitting in the Pro Department I would be like smiling to myself like okay we we we we did you know maybe we're getting the right players but then I'm kind of like going oh damn the Kansas City Chiefs just took two of my players it's a lot different than if like the the Jaguars Carolina Carolina Carolina Carolina yesterday and my buddy Elliot wolf at New England uh Elliott took four guys you know because he's got a talent poor team so Carolina Talent poor they took six guys if one of those guys one of those teams grab your guys you're kind of like yeah we're yeah okay we're good they're they're trying to get better when Kansas City grabs two of your guys you're going kind looking around you're kind of looking around and you kind of close your door and you go H maybe I need to ponder doing something else in my life here do you worry more about Hender shot or Scott actually worry about them both because I saw that remember the cornerback that Char various Ward yeah that left here I mean that was a trade that was a trade for a guard that never played he hurt his knee and never played here but when a really good team takes your players it's one of those it's a little it's a little jarring because you're like going oh no what do we just do well at the same time when you look at TH at both players I mean were they guys that us personally and I'll speak for myself there was one time where we liked hinders shot though yeah one time one time yeah y'all y'all have well you weren't on this show last year but the everybody else on this show but me had held hope when he was coming back and it just it never he was never able to go back to what he initially showed that first year uh maybe the whole mental thing was in effect uh I'm not too sure I still think that he's a very talented player but maybe a change of environment is what he needs to start once again showing up and and growing and developing on the field but aside from that I mean were either of those two players guys that you would have won it on the roster no I don't believe so when I look at the pton henders shot conundrum I I look at okay let's look at this tight end room and let's see what type of traits that they are trying to get out of these guys okay you have Jake Ferguson who's this all-around guy clear established tight end one put him off to the side you have Luke Schoonmaker he's a secondy year second round pick okay he's on the team all right what do you want to fill with these last two spots you want a receiving guy who can help stretch the field and you want a guy who can get after it at the point of attack and get to blocking brev span forward easy so then you look at the receiving option and you're down to John Stevens Jr and pton Hendershot and I don't believe that pton Hendershot showed enough during training camp both last year and this year to be able to prove that he could be a better receiving threat than John Stevens Jr and we've seen the progression from John Stevens Jr from training camp one to second best tied end on this roster we saw the progression he made from training camp one to training camp two and he had a torn ACL in the middle of it and he progressed more than pton Hendershot has the entire time that pton henders shot has been in the building so I I I think it was if John Stevens Jr was healthy last year henders shot would have been in Kansas City last year I I I truly believe they wouldn't have even taken him as a roster spot looking at Eric Scott he was never quick he was never he was never going to be the your manto man guy sure in this defense that was going to work for Dan Quinn it wasn't going to be a guy that was going to work for Mike Zimmer he's not a guy that can play man I want to see him in some Zone schemes maybe he can work that out but he just was not going to be a fit here no matter what I I had a buddy who uh covers the Chiefs yesterday call me he's like all right so talk to me about ER Scott and I was like if if y'all are playing his own scheme next year he might have a shot but if not I don't think the guy makes the roster so yeah I'm interested to see how truthful you are right now did you have span forward on your final 53 yes I did I did did you when you projected that you had him on your final 5503 yeah you you could go back to uh um I I believe it was Tuesday morning with uh Sean and RJ he was like who is Guy 53 and I said brevan span Ford so he did okay got receipts I got receipts I because see that's that's funny because there's a lot of people when you started to project the roster span for I think span for initially didn't start off very well and then I think the last couple of weeks of Camp you start started to see some better things but I was kind of thinking like okay is this one of those things that they saw something in college and they're hoping that this tight end development we've seen tight ends here before for you know the Dalton schultzes and others that have it's taken a year it's taken two years you know that's your hope with Luke Schoonmaker right now but I just wonder if they were they were just so like no this guy is going to make the team no matter what I I look at the guaranteed money and they at least guaranteed him a practice squad spot at the end of the day but then you also factor in that this is a Mike McCarthy offense he was always going to take four tight ends like I I just that that fourth guy could be one of us and I still believe he would take four tight ends but even with Hunter lipy he would have done it I think so I mean he did he did oh no he did he did definitely did that's why that's why but see I was trying to keep other spots yeah see I was trying to keep you know I I was I was looking at you know at at wood Julius wood who the Tennessee Titans claimed I was looking at Julius wood thinking like I've got all these running backs and none of them play special teams and they're all going to be active M so to me keeping Maybe Julius wood was going to help me put him on the active and make him one of the guys to play special teams for all these guys that don't play should I bring up CJ good one again or am I gonna be struck am I gonna be struck don't don't bring up CJ good one because you're going to get struck okay you're G to get struck you know just just know the things there are some guys you just don't touch some guys you just don't tou I'll say this though there were gymnastics that you could have played to keep Julius wood on this roster there were there were some gymnastics that could have done but I don't think they were sought out enough and sure you didn't want to risk losing another guy but I felt like that was a guy worth keeping around Are We Wrong about Julius wood and are we I kind of felt like that Julius wood was and they have a deep safety room they have a deep safety room you those all good players but to me I I just kind of saw like you know here's the one time that they have all these really good safeties or you know I think good safeties and then you finally have a guy and you're like man I think they got one here I think I think they I got one here and then all of a sudden he goes and I've always been you know there's been times where we've sat here and done these shows and like God you can't put this guy out there you can't put this guy out there and then we and then I say Todd Williams comes into your room and goes we got all our guys back you're like okay great you know you know why were we worrying and then now I'm the attitude of like you're G to get all your guys back and then you start losing like and I really didn't want to lose just from a just from a former Personnel guy just looking at that team being around that team I didn't want to lose Julius wood I didn't either I really didn't that burns a lot more than Scott in my eyes it burns a lot more than Scott Julius wood was a guy like you said could not only play at the safety position if there were some injuries that were to occur there but special teams as well he had those special teams acts and you look at what he did in the preseason 11 tackles they were run fits they were playing in coverage he had two interceptions he had a couple of pass deflections did he have a couple of bad mistakes yeah absolutely but he's a rookie undrafted free agent right that was a guy you would I think I would have figured out how to keep him around I think they had him right when you know when you go out and I'm I guarantee you this kid probably was on their draft board probably sitting there in the six seventh round and all of a sudden then you know they make those guys Chris Hall and those guys in college scouting do a hell of a job of making those guys that are still on the draft board priorities making them priorities and to go out and get him I think they I think they had the player right I think they do I'm I'm I'm interested to follow his career at Tennessee I'm sure they'll be something on Red Zone and they'll be like you have an interception or a hit or something well mean as as a Caesar gets started and come and weeks start going by we'll soon find out where if it was a mistake or a missed opportunity for to let him go or not um we're going to go ahead and take our first break when we come back I want to talk about the cowboy biggest Trends and weaknesses now that we have the full 53 man roster as well as a practice squad Todd thought it would be secure to jog in the cheetah Savannah Todd believed the big cat repellent he bought online was reliable and now Todd is trying good pronunciation your accent I think helps the read yeah honestly it really does I'm a little too Caucasian for it all right well welcome back to the second segment of the break this segment is presented by blockchain.com there we go so Brian you hinted in the first segment at how important this year is for the Cowboys and the staff we know that Mike McCarthy he's on his last year we know Mike Zimmer on the last year and a bunch of quack maybe the quarterback we don't know the Dak presca situation just yet I mean but he is currently on his last year of his deal so very very important year with that being said now that we know what the roster looks like currently what would you guys say are the the weaknesses and the strength of this roster weaknesses and strengths I'll start with uh I'll start with strengths and I'm going to make this incredibly broad but I'm going kind of focus in as as I get further into this point the defense I I think whenever you look at whatever they walked off off the field with on that fateful day in January back eight months ago compared to what they have now I think it is a much improved unit now granted they still need to get uh Duron Bland back healthy they need to get Deone Clark back healthy as well uh um Clark was has missed these last two days of practices with uh with the knee soreness that he's been battling last couple of weeks but once they get that unit back to full strength I I like what it is you look at it for all 11 guys that are going to be on the field uh whenever those games start you have veterans in the m in the defensive interior now in lynval Joseph and in Jordan Phillips you look at the second level you have a veteran in Eric Kendricks you have Youth and Maris Leah fou and de Marv and overshown and even Deon Clark you can make the case as youth as well then you look in the secondary you have two all proo corners and Trayvon taks and donon Bland you look in the safety group we just got done talking about that in the last segment when I look at this defensive unit the strengths that Mike Zimmer has as a play caller and as a scheme guy I think this defense is going to be much improved even than it was last year year as a top five defense in the NFL um as far as weaknesses go I'm still looking at this running game I don't understand how you run the ball in between the 20s but I I guess that's going to have to be something you figure out as the season goes on too I mean you add dvin cook we'll see but I I don't I don't understand where you get production from the Run game in between the 20s right now Brian I like what he did with the defense and but you called it a strength I'm going to call something a weakness on the defense okay where's the backup edges Absolut I'm not depth absolutely I said that's why I said the 11 guys that start the game see that's where also one thing that popped into my head too when you were talking is like you that's you expecting and counting on Trevon digs to be and he looks good don't get me wrong he looks really good right now on practice and moving around he looks very good but we still don't know how that's going to actually look on a game day and then also with donon Bland got to keep in mind how's that transition going to look when he comes back from that injury and back to the field so those are still question marks for me that it's too soon for me to say that's the strength I kind of feel like that I'm I'm the huge Carson guy here I I really love I think Carson is going to go in there and be super competitive and help you in a lot of ways but I look at nean as a rookie and I think there's a lot of really great qualities about him as an edge but then it's Goldston it's it's a Lawson practice squad yeah and wheat yeah see that's that now where's the rotate I mean sure you can tank and Parsons all day here we go but behind that where are you where is your real real depth and and can any one of those guys can nean show up with some sacks you know what do you think about Goldston potentially being having you know three or four sacks is that a possibility Lawson might not be the same guy he was three four years ago and then also wheat I think weat is a I don't think it's a surprise he made the team he's got ability he's got some pass rush you know some some zip to him in that regard but I just named four guys and three of them you're kind of just you're really really hopeful for and one you're hopeful that he reverts back to what he was three four years ago and I worry about that if if something were to happen and God forbid it does for this team but I just don't know where the real depth is at that is that particular position I think that's a that's a weakness right now quick question do you think wheat is a guy that bones just stood on the table for him was like Hey I need this guy yeah I think so I think it is too yeah I think so yeah we need the special teams coach is always going to if there's one of one or two guys on the roster that you go wow that's I didn't see that one coming it's usually because a special teams coach standing up and saying you gotta give me this one guy yeah or you got to give me these two guys and I think that was clearly one of those that that he that he did I'm going to actually say now the strength I think it's going to be with the offensive line and I'm going to say I'm going to say in the running game I think it's going to be better than what you think and better from a blocking aspect and I'll ask you guys this question how many games will it be before they figure out that their best back is Rico D how how many games how many games you think they'll play before they'll say he's we need to give him the ball more than we're giving like you mentioned from 20 to 20 inside the 20 maybe this turns into Zeke's game or Dalvin Cook's game or whatever but how many games before they realized it like we could run the ball I would hate to waste Zack Martins last year potentially because you know we're you're blocking and he they're doing him and BB and Smith and those guys are contr in the inside game and you can't get backs to and through the hole how many how many games do you think that it's going to take before they realize that that dle is probably their best guy yeah I don't have a number for you I don't have a number for it all depends on how because I think it's a strength I think I think that I think the running game could be a strength but like you said it could also be a real weakness if they don't get the running back combination right they they just need a Difference Maker and can D be that guy yeah he's got to be healthy um he also needs to get some reps under his belt he's still very young when it comes to you know experience in this league I I think they have a couple of options when if they want to work between the 20s and try to open up the running game they can use r d and I would love to see him take over a drive and be given the ball two three four carries in a row um they also have du vau that they can get Incorporated in the receiving game a little bit more so I I they have some options in between the 20s I just don't have a lot of confidence there and even if we're talking about Rico D in a vacuum I think he is a good back but we've looked at what what has it been now four years in the league and he has yet to put together a full season last year was the closest he got to that and he still missed two or three games so it was you know I I I I would like to see him be available whenever we look up in November or Thanksgiving and we're going into you know the final stretch of the season um but I as far as him being this you know potential 800 900 yard guy I just I can't see that I can't see that and I think that's probably what you're expecting correct oh no remember Derrick and I were talking like were talking like over thousand right yeah but if we're talking about that in a way if they figure out early enough because there's going to be some there's going to be some defenses where okay that Rico D they block it up the right way which they I think they're capable of that they could they could get that he could get 120 130 yards 140 yards in a game you know that's what he's going to have to do there're going to be some games where but I think they're going to need they're going to need somebody with some explosiveness they're going to need somebody that that that when those those holes open up when BB and Martin get there and they push that that three technique or they push that one and now they get somebody up on the linebacker and now you got the down guy secured and then you got a guy up on the linebacker and now you got a cut now you got the that's what we used to watch with Travis Frederick and Martin and those guys and even with steel on the backside him and Martin the way they work and I think even with even with gon his athletic ability to cut off and things I think they've got I think they've got power in the middle but they got athletes on the on the edges that can kind of cut the backside off to give you the ability to cut I just let me ask you this what what makes you think that it's going to take them so long to figure out that loyalty loyalty but but that's the thing with M mcarthy what I think of he's not afraid to make those changes though they did it with Tony paard they they were late to Tony Pard I got in trouble with Jerry Jones asking him this question you feel like you wasted Tony Po's career here he got mad at me for asking that question but but think about it they were late to get to Tony par even though the metrics in your the eye test Tony's averaging 4.8 yards a carry Zeke's averaging 3.8 he had a hell of a year that year yeah and now you're going wait what why are we not giving this guy the ball more yeah and we did the same last year with Tony and then Rico yeah so again we've talked about this kind of the backup guy tends to be recently recent years to be the guy that that is more explosive lately and we start having those conversations but I think that now in my eyes the way I see it is that with Zeke coming back he can take over those you know the helping help him in the blocking game and then keep better than cook doing that keeping uh Rico more fresh and and able to be as explosive as he needs to be let me ask you this bro over under two and a half games Rico D has 100 rushing yards this year you know what I'm setting up here I'm setting up a bet yeah I know you are I'm setting up a bet here around here oh we'll figure something out Derrick's not here we're F I had to take a survey I did this I got a I got don't I got a certificate from the NFL that says I won't gamble no I'm talking 40 yard dash or something we'll do something oh no yeah you win you win I'll I'll take you to dinner wherever you want to go uh you know I I just I I worry I just don't want them to waste opportunity if you all of a sudden you see the running games really just kind of they're they're they're doing a good job up front and we're all watching the tape and it's like damn that play looked like it was blocked to go eight yards and it goes three and a half it goes four yeah you know and and you're just leaving yards and you're just oh no we got you know Zeke it's a tough running game it's I'm like no you could be better at this because I will say this and now I'm going to get in trouble for this one I don't know how creative they are running the football you you watch teams are really you watch teams around the league and they're really creative you watch what Ben Johnson does at Detroit watch what Shanahan does and they' got really good players and but you got really good players too now your running back situation might not as be as good as Detroit's or San Francisco McDaniel or yeah but you get there's guys you watch that are really creative the way that they scheme runs and I'm thinking like man we could do that here we got we got really powerful inside guys that can move we got two athletic tackles got tight ends that are getting better at this I mean they're not they're not glass eaters by any means those tight ends is blockers but they're getting I I watched I watched uh I watched Stevens on the backside he's an athlete he's long he could cut you off he can stay in the way you know make guys run over him to get to the ball I mean you can run the ball I just don't know if you want to be you know how creative you are and do you have the right combination of backs to do it effectively that would be a weakness to me and the backs the line I think is actually going to be a strength I I can see the line of thinking over this offseason because you look at the first year in the Mike McCarthy offense and they tried to make Tony Pard an inside Zone guy and he's not an inside Zone guy he's a guy you w out in space and he was still able to get a thousand yards and make make it work but we all can sit here and I think Tony Tony did sit at the at the podium last year at the end of the year and said I could have produced more so I mean he he knows it from from his perspective so you look at it from the offseason and looking at it from a holistic approach and saying okay then we need bigger guys in here we need inside own guys so they go get azekel Elliott they go get dvin cook it's like okay well now we got these two bruisers that we can run inside Zone with and now it's like well you still need the guy who can get out in space that was the problem last year so I agree with you I think there does need to be a little bit more creativity in the Run game but you do have guys like Rico d de Von that can make that work it's just how can you get them Incorporated in the offense and again that speaks to duvon last year couldn't really figure out how to get them Incorporated in the offense because that was not the offense so maybe that's the added layer that Mike McCarthy needs to bring well let's go ahead and go to our final break when we come back we're going to finish up talking about C lamb he gained 15 pounds and how has believed the big cat repellent he bought online was reliable and now Todd is trying to be faster than this cheetah that can run 80 mph but the good news is Todd has AT&T 5G that is fast reliable and secure and he learned the best thing to do is stop running and toss her the backpack with the beef stew AT&T 5G fast reliable secure 5G requires compatible plan and device 5G may not be available in your area see at.com 5G for you for details back to the break AT&T connecting changes everything perfect that was beautiful what was the early read he was like AT&T we're the best something what was it remember they changed it right they did change it after the First Mid training camp I read I read the first it was like AT&T we kick ass exactly I was like pretty much pretty much straight to the point all right to finish off the the show wanted to talk about C L he did put on the that weight what does that mean how does it change his uh game and he talked about it with the media go ahead Nick yes so I I asked him directly about it he said he he told Nick eatman earlier in the day on Tuesday that he has added about 10 to 15 pounds of extra weight and I I asked him I was like why why and he said I got a little extra armor on me so um whenever you look at CD lamb from a physique perspective and I I it's it's a big part of kind of our scouting eyes too looking at guys from a from a physical perspective and we talk about Xavier worthy a lot we're going to weird job we have sometimes it is strange we look at Men's bodies um that's a big part of our job but um it CD was scrawny last year and like towards the end of the year you see yeah you could see he got wore down as the year went on so adding that 10 15 pounds it definitely could help I say could because I've seen guys put on that weight before that 10 15 lbs and it's it's uh it's extra muscle and on the surface it looks great but then they're a little bit slower coming out of breaks and they're a little bit slower doing certain things that wasn't as slow for them 10 pounds ago granted I think CD lamb has been putting in the training and the offseason work to be able to you know account for those 10-5 pounds in a healthy manner but not all 1015 pounds are the same trust me they are not all the same but um I will say uh I he looks he looks healthy he looks natural I think it's going to end up helping him as the season goes on and like you said whenever we're getting to December January those 10 15 pounds are really going to payoff yeah as much as he runs that that weight is going to go right off him and and they they have a program I'm when I used to work with the team you knew that the the guys who weren't the starters the practice squad guys had certain days that they had to go lift and and but the starters maybe one day a week you know they got to work out and some guys just get so banged up that they can't even lift and they're trying to get to the next game so I I I have a feeling that uh it'll be uh that 10 or 15 15 pounds it'll help him initially and then all of a sudden he's doing so much running in these games that that he'll start to lose weight he'll get smaller players do they get smaller as the season wears on and you know they get wore down we've seen it with Micah Parsons you know I mean he's tried to I mean he's already started kind of slim but uh he he had all that weight and he got wore down at the end and it happens to these guys they have to be they they they're mindful of that very much how has he looked on the field very very quickly we're about to end the show but he's been moving around from what we've seen so far he's moving around pretty well catching the ball oneand catches and doing everything like he like we used to watching him absolutely I he's he's a talented guy but these two practices that we've seen as I told Brian in the break it was underwear Olympics so uh catch me when the pads come on pads will come on today uh the pads were on last night but Pats will come on today they'll have a normal practice setting today I think that ramp up period is really starting to begin with it's going to be a crash course over the next week to get him ready for Cleveland all righty well you guys stay tuned we're finishing off this show five minutes earlier but that's because my McCarthy he's about to start with the press conference here in like five minutes so stay tuned on dallascowboys.com next week we are back to our regular programming every day starting Tuesday uh every day we'll be here talking about the Cowboys uh what time time is our show 11 a.m. Central Time so for Brian brus Nick Harris amember Garcia Chris beam in the back and this has been the break on dallascowboys.com radio this has been a production of dallascowboys.com
