and for this one we're kind of getting back to the roots of GameFly it's one of those car racing games five nhr classes Top Fuel funny Car Pro Stock promod and super modified and I know just enough about cars to know that those are actual categories they sound made up but they're real 38 top NH drivers Britney Force don't know them Antron Brown don't know them John Force don't know know him Steve Torrance don't know him and more you know the best games ask you to immediately agree to an e oh [ __ ] it's game Mill this is probably going to suck game Mill is like on the very low end of uh Publishers developer groups well kind of like this title screen I think the stream has already peaked you know all of these sounds so interesting but if this is just drag racing then who cares okay where it oh wait okay yeah we're doing this one cuz this is actually closest as far as I know to where I am now and I think we have to go with funny car because funny wow look at these old guys I'm going I'm going to assume for a lot of these guys that the number next to them is their driver skill and not their age does the r in NH stand for retirement Blake you don't belong here I'm playing as you uh Jeff get in here I need to figure out how this game works all right over under 30 frames for how fast the game runs it is a game Mill racing game keep that in mind okay it's running smoothly but nobody's moving see that crewmen started moving and the frame rate tanked our next race is match up upcoming the car in the right lane has blown the tires off that went well so this mechanic if I remember correctly was also in the street outlaws game which was made by the same people I I can't see the front of the vehicle at all so okay that helps even less wait what did I get disqualified for this time so far we have had Z zero races and two dqs we did it I swear we will actually finish a race at some point today those tires for this violation has early an exceptional pass from both drivers but unfortunately only one was able to move on to the next round over under 10 more minutes before I can actually finish a race I don't need a [Applause] parachute I just want to be able to get down the track that's usually not too much to ask in a racing game well my tires are hot so there's that at least and they're out for the weekend after that big crash what a race we just saw that looks awful I actually won a race what I did there was I did not hold the gas the entire time I let off a bit the moment I started to see it sway a bit also maybe having the tires a bit hotter helped with the grip or something possibly I'm mostly trying to apply what I barely remember from the street outlaws game to this team mancome to your that car was threatening to sink through the ground lot of hats around I'm certain that with you as manager we can turn it around oh you are so wronging race against G I can't hear you well considering the game kind of slows you down as you approach the start line anyway I'm not worried about that only your Crossing line how the [ __ ] is this view helpful uh it whoa that frame dropped wait that's who we're playing as oh Mario Plumbing wasn't doing it for me Luigi I'm a drag racer now Luigi w we can choose between such a wide variety of tires yeah I'm not going to know what to do with any of this how many hardcore NH Gearhead fans are going to know how to properly utilize any of this I am not worried about deceleration we'll research the aerodynamics oh the thin little lines going around it mean it's being researched all right right that's a that's a really small indicator for that got the stats and description of my racer read like a magic card sort of Andy Mario you hand the St cars I got the funny cars you're going to [ __ ] it up Luigi we don't have the money to fix the car if you crash it Luigi much money do we have $21,000 okay uh it locked up in the menu for a moment and I'm not sure why what does torque do this is how little I know about cars engine block is a little out of my price range right now you know I'm not going to bankrupt the team immediately I need all the grip I can get you saw how all over the road I was just with the regular car all right how can we customize this uhoh I tried switching a color and the game chugged perfect why does the thing select color when it won't let me select color won't let me preview that either you're full of [ __ ] game okay I'm I'm assuming the course is going to be a straight line with maybe a different grand stand on either side oh jeez here's how the competition works first you got to wait for the track to pop in with the points at the end becomes theion and get Aion I can't skip this their trophy okay it looks like there are a couple other people in this race who do not have their AARP cards yet so that's encouraging right lane smoke the tires whoa okay hold on stop I can tell this is going to go poorly already getting it in the first round we've got a l of the right L look at that win for the driver yeah my top speed's nowhere close I'm not last so there's that I guess if you're lucky this weekend race fans you could get a chance to run into some of your favorite drivers right down in the Midway do not be shot they love taking photos and giving autographs I like neither of those things we showed up to a drag race with a a car that can only go into fourth gear yeah that did not go well I can repair one or swap both well time for a quick elimination you look at that a win for the driver starting to understand why the previous season went so poorly for this team we're in last right no how did they go slower than us okay it it lagged for my picking swap that is where we stand right now last was exting you ain't nothing yet this announcer is trying to Hype me up and it is not doing anything an exceptional pass from both drivers but unfortunately only one was able to move on to the next round that went pretty much as expected fourth from last cuz this guy dced does act like automatic or manual what I have to shift also I don't know what that was on the screen transition but a red line for shifting I tried that before and it didn't seem to help I can from here that was a near disaster those tires are not just what a wh amazing performance on the track this round huh maybe that was why I was slower who needs to decelerate anyway uh now I can't see where the burnt rubber is so I don't know where to line up the tires have gone off just don't see a race that good every day folks what a rush that's the end of somehow at the end of all of that there's still a slight profit let's change that we'll focus on things like torque and maybe the gearbox I'm researching aerodynamics so I don't want to buy anything for that just yet even the least expensive thing here is at least a notable upgrade I mean I need something better so it's a risk but it's also one that I'm willing to take all right who who's ready to drive in a straight line I think that for all of these I need to do like a side by side comparison of what the levels look like [Music] yeah when you do have to steer in this game it is incredibly slugish all right let's see if that helped at all can you believe what we've just seen didn't seem like it well I mean I guess we're 18th now that's better oh jeez it hung on that screen I almost drifted into the other lane and got DQ we're off to a great start can you believe what we've just seen well we're losing by slightly smaller margins Now call that progress if you want 21st progress progress which involve three people behind us getting dced I mean we're only 2/10 of a second out of the top 17 I guess and like a full second behind the top racer at that a win for the driver yep that was slower this is going about as well as I thought it would yeah that was pretty bad I shifted way too early at one point I can spell from up here those tires are toast during this race I'm predicting that the gearbox and the parachute explode that was a dominant performance on the track this round what a fantastic few races we have had here today and it wouldn't be possible without our great NH fans thanks for coming out folks we'll see you next time I mean I guess if you saw me racing like this you would have the urge to just leave yeah so far we have met absolutely no goals and frankly aren't even close to any of the goals it was we got 10 experience points whatever that means yeah there we go $9,000 now we're talking how have I only been playing this for about an hour we've fur and further away and I'm not equipped to get there so is it standard protocol in NH that you do a burnout for every [Music] race feel the heat from those engines all the way up here in the announcing Booth I have no idea if I did better or worse we're below 11 progress not last all right I just need to pull 2/10 of a second out of my ass then it'll be all good I am spending so much money that I don't have solid run but they won't be breaking any records with that performance all be it they still came out on top je rub it in more why don't you announcer well we improved actually now I just need to do significantly better somehow and we're putting everything into this except you parachute who needs to stop am I right that went as poorly as a burnout could without hitting the wall this time we've seen on track but enough to get the job done yeah that's not going to do it I mean technically I finished higher than I did before but still nowhere near okay how much money did we lose this time yeah almost $5,000 so at what point do they just Chuck my ass out of the garage can we get like a statistical breakdown of how much like what percent of the time spent playing this game involves actual racing cuz if it's like 10 seconds 11 seconds per race with all that downtime in between I could stream this for 2 hours and there would be maybe like 5 minutes of racing in it we'll do engine block R&D cuz desperately need it wow it lagged trying to move away from from tires okay can't afford a transmission can't really afford anything right now except parachutes and who cares about that oh we're going to Las Vegas supposedly God it's only been an hour and a half I thought that said Capcom for a moment and now was about to start swinging on this game I could have speedrun Yoshi's Safari instead of doing this oh my God the Popin just gets worse God this thing will not stay straight it's sub 11 so there's that meanwhile the top guy is below 10 basically I need to get like my best run immediately at what point do I just go straight into a wall and end the Stream okay that's better than I thought I would do there's that I suppose holy [ __ ] we're actually in qualifying position I can't wait for that to not happen I think I'll do the second and then pull out of the third one just to make sure I have enough time to repair everything the driver in the right lane loses control and crosses the center line can't do that I'm afraid wow we didn't even actually do the race and everything drops like you did I don't think they accounted for spinning out during the burnout the game doesn't account for like letting go of the I don't [ __ ] care let's see who be packing their bags after this okay what did I even do that time believe we just can you tell they didn't account for that with the commentary we turned a profit I dced three out of four races and we turned a profit so as I was trying to say before with the burnouts it seems like they expect you to just hold gas the ENT ire time because if you let go it takes an insanely long time for it to realize oh he's still hitting the gas and holding the brakes we should probably heat the tires up again we can maybe do a Hail Mary and chill out for some aerodynamics that was Sensational did we do well it didn't look like we do well I mean I guess 10.8 is better top 10 for the test races but the test RAC don't mean anything okay I think I finally figured out how to get burnouts decently down you don't hit brake right away you let it go for a little bit then slam on the brakes and as soon as you hit a good temperature you want you just throw it in reverse before the game tells you to for a newer player that's very counterintuitive being spoiled with this race action ladies and gentlemen I think that was slower than my test run yeah that time is not going to last very long I'm going to skip that H full repairs for the last round know about you but my heart is still pounding okay that might not have actually been a terrible time okay not as terrible but I'm probably going to be overtaken by like a dozen other guys oh a thousandth of a second out of qualifying got to load up for this one that was sensal I don't think that was fast enough Jo which is I mean that would just be part of the course really it was faster okay let's calm down I've probably been overtaken by like five other people at this point oh my God we just barely qualified holy [ __ ] we're going to get blown the [ __ ] out in the first round but this is a symbolic Victory oh is that the guy who's like first overall and has like two seconds on us go against the one seed right away not happening we haven't won a single race outside of a quick race result for our win they'll head on to the next race with a ton of moment we got to see this screen at least once no longer in last I haven't seen the experience actually add up to anything get out of here announcer man $289 of profit hell yeah torque is my weakest stat but I do not have the money to spend to upgrade [ __ ] aerodynamics go yeah every time I try to pick something the game hangs okay well uh we barely qualified the last time can we barely qualify this time I cannot control this thing at all what a well done yeah and look at all the damage that did even the burnouts are being a pain in the end I mean the frame rate's not really helping [Applause] either I think that might actually be a personal best seventh I can't wait for that to not last okay I'll go for it this one and then probably skip the next one so I have extra repair time well it's hard to H my tires up on I'm trying not to hit the wall cuz this car controls terribly it's only designed to go in a straight line and sometimes it doesn't even do that well a win for the driver well points for consistency I guess all right we got to do a [ __ ] ton of repairs we just going to sit out the third round and then focus on the fourth round got that screen transition every time suddenly burnouts have completely changed from what I was doing before qualified again now instead of facing the top seat I'll just face the number two seat overall which is the same guy I was facing before almost drifted into the wrong lane you can feel the heat from those engines all the way up during the announcing Booth all right how much money did we lose this time we technically went up in the standings a little bit Yeah negative $1,671 I have nothing to say what can be said we have lost this team so much money I mean all I can think to do at this point is go to Quick race and just try the other cars that we haven't seen yet like the one on the loading screen see when I think drag racing this is the kind of vehicle that I think of granted I've seen more videos of accidents involving these vehicles than just proper races involving these vehicles Les but still okay we're going first person for this one these are be the first to reach the Finish Line let's seeing their bags after this race T it I forgot how short those races were me winning a race nah couldn't be now I will watch the Replay for this because I have no idea what the hell happened oh God those people in the middle oh jeez the more you look at this game the worse it gets okay uh I don't think we achieved anything we got achievements for crashing that's something we got 25% oh that was only 25 5% of the way through the first season jeez so this game is a no for me and I do not feel like I need to explain why and aside from it being a cheap ass game Mill game that's recycling bits from previous game Mill titles and aside from the general like sporadic SL lack of racing in this game it doesn't look particularly good it doesn't run particularly well it actually just hung in the credits right now I was getting frame drops during the burnouts I was getting like lower frame rates just in the most random of places the game would hang just navigating menus so that's a no for me
