WE MAKE SURE THAT WE COOPERATE IN TERMS OF ANY INFORMATION THAT IS NEEDED, AND IT JUST REALLY WOULD BE AN APPROPRIATE TO GET IN THE WAY. >> Reporter: MAYOR ADAMS IS SPEAKING WITH CBS NEWS NEW YORK FOLLOWING REPORTS THAT FEDERAL AGENTS SEARCHED THE HOMES OF POLICE COMMISSIONER EDWARD CABAN, THE HARLEM HOME SHARED BY SHEENA WRIGHT AND DAVID BANKS, AND THE HOME OF PHILIP BANKS. DAVID BANKS'S BROTHER. AS PART OF THAT PROBE, THE MAYOR'S ELECTRONIC DEVICES WERE TAKEN BY THE FBI. SOURCES SAY THE PHONES OF WRIGHT AND PHILIP BANKS WERE TAKEN AS PART OF THE NEW RATES WHICH OCCURRED YESTERDAY. POLICE OFFICIALS WERE ALSO ASKED TO SURRENDER THEIR PHONES. WHY DO THEY KEEP TARGETING YOU AND MEMBERS OF YOUR ORGANIZATION? >> THAT, I CAN'T ANSWER. IF THIS IS NEEDED TO SHOW THAT I HAVE ALWAYS FOLLOWED THE LAW, WE ARE GOING TO GET THAT INFORMATION. >> Reporter: NOW, THE POLICE COMMISSIONER SKIPPED A PUBLIC EVENT AT POLICE HEADQUARTERS TODAY, BUT IT SEEMS LIKE HE IS NOT THE ONLY MEMBER OF THE NYPD THAT MAY BE TARGETED. THE POLICE DEPARTMENT ISSUED A STATEMENT, SAYING THAT , "MEMBERS OF THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH WERE ASKED TO SURRENDER THEIR DEVICES,"
