run there but they're just trying to find their footing at this point [Music] picked up two yards on that last one they need eight on second down back to throw it's mcnamer and they get to the quarterback and knock him down back at the 16 and listen the quarterback drops back he's going through his progressions we see Zone but just couldn't do anything about it this defensive line this pressure and that pass is intercepted he was looking for room to return that but he'll just hand it to the offense they'll take over at the 18 that's kind of a double Wy for this offense because on their opening drive not only did they turn it over with the interception but they've Now set their defense up in a really tough spot deep in their own end they make the tackle but he's got a fresh set of downs and it's first and goal from the seven I know this is an offensive line that has a ton of pride they want to come out each and every game and really impose their will on the dline they got just enough push there on that run play to pick up the first fast motion from the offense they'll dial up the run on first and goal he works his way all the way down to the three and the defense is reeling second and goal for this offense right he's looking to throw he's got it and he will score Dodge Down [Music] K they'll try to add another to their lead and the extra point makes it 14 nothing quick strike offense on that three playay scoring drive and they finish it up with a three- yd scoring toss Z on the move from inside is five just never had a chance to shake loose and he'll be get on First and 10 from the shotgun now here's an inside GI they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one don't you love energetic defenses that fly around and make things happen the ones that get in the back field the running back tries to go somewhere where do you want him to go there there is nowhere to go nice job by the defense creating tackle for a loss on first down on second down looking again to throw a strike downfield they make the stop but not before he wraps up this first period with a huge [Applause] gain the end of the first quarter Miami 14 zero back at it to open the quarter with this first down play we used the play fake now to throw they're trying to get to him and the pass it'sit picked off going the other way and he's got room and they capitalized not only on the pick but on the great return to improve this field position this is obviously not a great start for this quarterback here two interceptions already in this game he's got to do a much better job with his decision making here comes the hurricane offense looking to gather a little more strength they've jumped on them executing at a high level and up 14- nothing David this is the exact start you wanted the offense is playing great defense has gotten stopped you're in a position now Palmer to put the hammer down and get three possession lead I'm really impressed with their physicality on both sides of the ball early in this one they've been winning in the trenches so here on offense keep running the football and show your dominance quarterback reacting to what the D is showing makes the catch it's Howard open space at the 25 and chunk plays are the name of the game and they get one here before the defense finally makes the stop [Applause] to the air It's Bradley and he got smacked just as he released the pass it's incomplete doesn't take this defense a lot of time to get to the quarterback man they've got speed all over the place they hit him so quickly and because of that the ball Falls incomplete they're going to throw it again caught in the back field it's Howard I'll tell you for this defense they're going to have to find a way to bracket this slot receiver because of how athletic he is they're going to need to make sure they've got linebackers and DBS surrounding this guy at all times gets it out quickly and boy is he close to that first down maybe just a couple of inches short it's fourth down now and this likely the final snap before the two-minute warning they'll try it on the ground tackle is made after the first down we've reached the two-minute warning and they will try to build on what has already been a dominant first half [Music] performance here's first and goal and they could go to the locker room with a huge cushion snap in got it downfield for a huge game and they'll do more than move the chains they'll move that thing more than 30 yds down the field before he's finally stopped I know it's early in the game but defensively after that play you know you have to tackle the catch when this guy gets the ball in his hands he is so dangerous after the fact so it's okay for him to make catches just got to get him to the ground quickly grabbed in the middle it's Booker brought down just outside the Red Zone he moves the chains it's at the 22 great job by the offense being patient understanding when they're in zone coverage I got to hit those Tight Windows make those precise passes to get those big plays looking to throw it's mnam he's got his man that completion takes him down to the seven yd line and they are ready to strike timeout called here by the defense is the first one they've used this half and this is a really important series of plays a chance to cut into the lead just before halftime a first down run in the Red Zone they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one quick time out by the defense there trying to make sure everyone has the same call defense roll up deep in its own end on that last play now a second and long coming he's looking to throw and this one's going to be incomplete he was trying to make the connection in the back corner Corner The End Zone you simply don't see that very often a quarterback of this guy's caliber missing a guy wide open in the end zone he makes those throws in his [Music] sleep it's still third and goal the give to the tail back knocked off his feet after getting stuffed on that run you now got fourth down I'm not into chasing points this early in the game I think you just take the field goal you try to pay this drive off in this opportunity put something on The Bard well and nowadays you have these analytical cards and the coaches they literally look at every situation is it more advantageous to go for it or kick it that's how they'll make this decision fourth and goal from the five and the offense is staying out there a gutsy move and it's picked off at the goal line that's a way to make a stand man that is Picture Perfect cover zero when I play cover zero I'm bringing pressure and that Ball's going to come out look at the defense ready for that ball come in the quarterback's hand nice job breaking on the football and going to makeing the interception quickly complete at the 15 he's loose he's run out of bounds but a big play on that one and it'll be a first down and now a fresh set of downs for this offense looking to throw it's Bradley snags it over the middle they make the stop right there good pickup it's still short of the first down the canes want to pick up the tempo on second down he'll let it fly he'll throw it grab near the marker it's Judkins and the defense able to drag him down but not before they'll recycle that down marker receivers telling the quarterback what they see wants to throw on first down he's going up top grabs it at the 25 in strike touchdown Miami and they take it in for 64 [Music] [Applause] points ready to try the point after and the extra point will tack another one on to this lead quick work on that scoring drive just four plays and the score comes courtesy of the big play covering 61 yds on the touchdown pass here's the return from inside is 10 just never had a chance to shake loose and he'll be brought down at the 24 first [Music] [Applause] time dwindling away as they try to put points on the board right before the [Applause] half he Wast no time and comes out throwing he lobs one high down the left side and this is dropped incomplete pass he had a huge gain in his fingers and he couldn't hold on just enough time for one final play in this half unloads to the wide out out working the middle and the explosiveness the big Gainer gets it to the 49 yd line that's a first that's Miami all lined up in ready to go for a great second half ahead on the run from inside his Z own five he was looking for more Running Room but none to be found as he stopped at the 23 the Marshall offense makes its way back onto the field when you're facing a deficit like this one to start the second half you really can't afford to waste a single possession fresh start here in the second half that's the only way you can look at this if you're on offense things did not go your way there in the first half it starts with one play to get our confidence going we just got to get something going early here on this drive one play Stay aggressive now now I think I can be even more aggressive on Fourth Downs because obviously I've built a deficit my defense has got to make some plays for me to forgees ahead picks up about three to the 29 I never know if it's grammatically correct to say a team is being out physical you hear it a lot in football though that's happening in this game they are just not getting the push they need all game long up front to have any success when they decide to run it to the air it's mamera can't make the grab on third down and that is a rare drop for this guy defense did a great job third and short on the opponent side of the field they're expecting quick throw everybody they dug their heel on the ground they're able to break on the ball forc the incom completion despite failing earlier on fourth down they will try again here throws to the wide out got it past the marker turns out to be an easy conversion for this offense as they move the chains on fourth down sometimes we don't give enough credit to a receiver knowing exactly where he needs to be on the field and they pick up the first down there yeah and you got to give the receiver credit obviously knowing where that is but the defender needs to know where it is too where is he trying to get that Ball's going to come out quick he didn't really understand where the sticks were and because of that he gives up the first down need to just be a little bit more and here's the third interception of the night a return there would have just been icing on the cake they'll just have to settle for the cake at the 23 man another mistake from this quarterback that's backto back drives now that have resulted in interceptions he's got to find a way to find something different get in a better Rhythm start seeing the field better Palmer cuz he's not in a flow right now no David it looks like he's forcing the football a little bit maybe trying to make up for that interception he threw on the last drive but that last play there was no way that football should have gone there he could have gotten off of that and checked it down or thrown it away this quarterback he needs a breather right now he's got to collect himself just gets rid of the football nobody to throw it to it'll be second down go couldn't make connection last time let's see if they throw it again now the quarterback changing the original play call looking to throw it's Bradley he's right on Target and that's the kind of play that can really get you going as they get it out to the [Music] 36 he's looking to throw it working that left side now and he won't quite get there but boy after that pick up just a few inches to go for the first an array of possibilities here on second down he's looking down field gets open down the middle and he was loose and in the open field and on his way a tremendous pick up on that one and the hurricanes come to the line in the hurry up going up top on first down it's complete to the left and stampeding through the defense they make the stop but not before they do their work up top and pick up a first down and the kanes come to the line with a new set of downs they're looking to pass from the Red Zone got his man quickly he's brought down solid pick up on a little bit short of the first down operating in the Red Zone here on second down [Applause] he's looking to throw he got it touchdown hurricane and the Ping has started number with fining up to add another and the extra point makes it 28 to nothing so it's a 7 7yd touchdown drive and the score comes on a 12yd touchdown pass he'll bring it back from inside his SP he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 final play of the quarter coming looking to move it through the air and it's picked off again again his night vision hasn't been on par and he is brought down but what a way to finish this quarter with the p e [Applause]
