EA Sports [Music] [Music] [Music] welcome to Mount Pleasant Michigan and the home of the central Michigan chipa and it looks as if we are due for a full house as we have a terrific game in store we believe we've got a great one in store today and when you got a team that makes it into the top 25 now when you go on the road that's when you prove you belong [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] and the chipa will kick it off to get us [Applause] underway looks like he's going to try to return it and the coverage team able to make the tackle and the off take over okay so here comes the offense for the first time today and here he comes just jogging onto the field but what's going fast the heart ratees of everybody in this crowd Jesse well this is a special player All Eyes in the stadium on this guy David you know the defense they're going to have to find a way to try to slow this guy down and he's going to touch it every single play he'll be the main focal point can he handle the pressure can he handle the big moments can he handle this stage and Lead his team in a big moment Robinson will throw coming out aggressively and that'll be incomplete they tried to hit him with a big one on first down really nice play by the defender being in a good position for that deep ball down the field not letting the receiver put his big body on him go up over top the only thing that could have been he lets it Fly and he's got it at the 30 hits the accelerator to the right all the way in for the touchdown a lot of times you see those receivers as soon as they get by the DBS you know that hand goes straight up in the air I got him I got to step on him he got a step on him and the ball was thrown perfectly out in front you can see he runs underneath it gets it and gets the long touchdown on the go route on to attempt the try is on for the extra point and with the extra point they get the first seven of the game aggressive play calling on that drive just two plays they get the long touchdown pass to pay it off they're just about ready to kick it away and he takes this from inside the five and good work by the coverage team to knock down the Return Man so the central Michigan Chipawa offense headed onto the field our first look at them today and it won't be easy to throw the ball down the field today David because both of these teams have locked down Corners I mean these guys shut down half half of the field playmaking cornerbacks that really can play manto man and lock down the best guys on the other side yeah if I'm a quarterback in this game I'm taking a calculated risk if I'm thrown towards one of these two dudes because you're just asking to get picked off picked up two yards on that last one they need eight on second down they try to pop a run on the draw nudges ahead for one out to the 16 man nice nice second effort by the back to break a tackle but how about those defensive backs willing to come up stick their face in the fan and make a tackle those are the best run defenses too right it's not just D lineman and linebackers getting all the plays but it's DBS that are and the sack all the way back at the five man this home crowd was so jacked up so excited to finally get the football after giving up points on the first drive and having to be quiet now they're quiet again how about the defense coming in here shutting this crowd up early and doing their job the chipa was will line up to pun it away three and out and not much choice but to get rid of the ball sometimes avoiding disaster is the best thing the punter just gets it out of there found a little run room on that one picked up some nice blocks before he's run out of bounds couldn't better field position for this offense comes out throwing on first down going for it all and they dialed up a shot play but they couldn't make the connection you know it's a good decision by the QB because his intended target wasn't open so throw it out of bounds and you can live to play another day here on this drive Robinson looking to pass he's not afraid to go deep it's snagged In The End Zone touchdown one of the areas they really focused on with this receiver in the offseason was we need you to make more plays for us in the end zone we're taking shots we need to be able to step up and make tough catches David what a grab right there and I think a lot of that has to do with trusting your guy knowing where he's going to be knowing when he's going to sit down when he's not so being on the same page and then having a guy that can go get it just when the ball is near him he's going to make the play just like he did right there for six points ready to try the point after and the extra point pushes the lead to 14 this offense Prides itself on going after you and they did with that long touchdown pass to finish off a two-play drive the kickoff team out there getting set he'll start the return inside and he loses the ball deep in as Z in kicking team's got it he scooped it and he scored with it took the fumble all the way back for a [Music] touchdown the at unit on the field and with the extra point they're up 21 to nothing the scoop and score what a lift it can give to the defense not content to get the ball they wanted to do something with it and they did just complete and utter dominance in this one outplayed their opponent and took care of business yeah Total Domination in all three phases of the game offense defense and special teams this team came ready to play and man it was pedal to the medal right from the opening kickoff and that's how you like it forget the close games forget the Heartbreakers the oh this play could decide it just frying pan meet face ball game over that's going to do it for us from here for Jesse Palmer
