Here's a look at our radar. We were dealing with some light rain showers earlier today, but all of the rain is back off to the west. We could see maybe some light showers overnight tonight going into your Thursday morning. But as of right now, we are mostly dry across the mid south, maybe one or two lingering showers. Take a look at our ABC 24 weather watchers photo of the day sent in by one of our partners with North Mississippi Storm chase shows Ashton Limley and absolutely beautiful shot of Sardis Lake this evening. A beautiful sunset. Hey, we love to see your weather photos. Go ahead and send them to us. You can text them at 9013217520. Or you can scan that QR code right there on your screen because of the rainfall. Today, we have cooler temperatures right now. It's 80 degrees in Memphis, 75 in Millington, around 77 down in Olive Branch. That's five degrees cooler than what we were this time yesterday for a city around four degrees cooler and Covington around seven degrees cooler. Tomorrow is a weather impact day. So prepare yourself now, nothing to be too concerned about. It's another one for that heat and that humidity high to be near 96 degrees. These are your actual temperatures that does not factor in what it will feel like. We are under a heat advisory here in Shelby County, the counties in pink are under a heat warning. That means it could feel like 110 degrees in some portions of the day. Make sure you hydrate. That will be the key. Here's a look at the heat index across the area for tomorrow. It could feel like 114 in portions of North Mississippi. So anywhere in the mid south definitely going to be feeling the impacts from the heat. Not only is it for tomorrow, but it could also be for your Friday. Dangerous heat and humidity will be continuing at least for the next two days. Try to stay inside if possible, drink plenty of water when needed. Here's look at your seven day heat index 100 and eight degrees. That's what it could feel like for your Thursday. Then we start to get a little bit cooler as we go into your Friday night and Saturday morning, we could get a little bit of rain and that's gonna allow a little bit of a break as we get back into the second half of your weekend into the beginning of next week. 96 and 97 for your Thursday and your Friday. But as you take a look at Saturday, eyes would be near 94. Here's look at that rainfall that we're talking about. Not everywhere will see rain, but it's something we'll keep our eye on. Once again, this is Friday at midnight. So we'll start to see some of that rain start to develop maybe some light showers Friday morning and then we could be seeing some more light showers continuing throughout the early part of Friday. Then as we get into Friday night, another complex could arrive, bringing some more rainfall as we head into your Saturday morning. That's what's gonna be bringing us that cooler weather. Here's the glass seven day forecast 96 and 97 for Thursday and Friday, things get a little bit better as we head into Saturday and Sunday and then returning back to average for Monday through Wednesday of next week.
