Bills Dolphins you know was right now the bills has been in toal total control since the beginning of the game I'm G start with you Mike what's your thoughts man on this one so far since you've been watching the game I mean it just really looks like buffal hasn't lost a step from last year I thought they were I actually picked Miami to win the division preseason because I thought they were the most balanced but just really making me rethink it they Allen looks like he hasn't lost his step in that defense they look damn good man yeah yeah I I agree with that man I was thinking the same way brother go ahead my man darus how you how what's your thoughts on it brother yeah I also thought Buffalo take a drop back um I had kind of predicted that they they would win they wouldn't win um double digit they wouldn't have double digit wins for the season um for the simple fact they lost to so much um Miami is I think Miami is making them look better than what they really are especially on the defensive end um I think Miami kind of checked out to be honest with you checked out the second half yeah I think they I think they checked out the second quarter that's indictment on the coach man that's yeah he said checked down the second quarter yeah man it's only week two it's only week two look you can tell listen you can tell when the team quits bro you can tell they quitting this early it's gonna be then I think we all got the Dolphins wrong this year I I I never expected Dolphins to do much because they can't win in cold weather so yeah go ahead BJ what's your thoughts so far man you seeing this game so I mean I don't know if they checked out I think it's too early to say they checked out but I think that they're they are um they they the coaching staff is is is like out coaching themselves you know I think that they're out coaching themselves I think they're trying so hard to beat Buffalo because they just can't beat Buffalo that they are just not executing and you you could just see it receivers not not turning around uh in enough time to catch the ball they just they're just not in sync yeah and I think I think I'm hoping because for Fantasy purposes I hope to it turns this around U but I I think after coming out of halftime you will see a little different of the offense I think they will be more engaged well I'm hoping yeah we'll see those we'll see those High time for judgments man but for me man it's it's two things I'm saying look like the Dolphins still can't beat good teams you know that's particularly might be better than them you know how they they beat up on all bad teams last year and once they came across the team on they level they got always getting smoked it's the same thing right here that I'm seeing um like Mike said man I definitely probably underestimated Buffalo I thought they was going to take a huge step back well not huge step I thought they was going to take a step back from them losing so many players on defense losing um digs but Josh Allen is Josh Allen man so I did not have Buffalo winning Division I actually had the Dolphins winning division but the way they looking nah I don't see it I mean it's still early it's still early and you know I don't even think Buffalo is that good I don't even think Buffalo is playing that good I think Miami is just not playing the way that they they could play yeah I don't think I don't think Buffalo is is doing anything to say that they are an amazing team I gave that division to the Jets man I don't thinket hell no everybody division too man thanks for bringing that up D because you know like me with the jet I just don't I just don't trust they coach I don't trust Robert Salah at all I just look at it like this like if if y'all gonna hold you know what I'm this sluggish man throughout the whole league it was a bad there a lot of bad quarterback play but but you know why that is you know why that is because these starters are not playing in preseason so this is like their pre-season so they took away another week preseason to yeah rest out so let let let me um let me ask you let me start with you with you on this one darus I know I was shocked to see I don't think new Eng is gonna be win a lot of games but I was definitely shocked to see them way they handled Cincinnati man what was your thoughts on that with new New England that tough though that yeah I was impressed I wasn't surprised though as far as the defense in the anything because Who the head coach is you know what I mean now they've had a lot of blunders on offense especially at the quarterback position it's over I'm trying to tell y'all I'm trying to tell y'all man you can tell when the team quits bro but that's saying if if it's this early in the season and they qu second quarter that's that's coaching man bro listen is coaching coaching is a part of it but you got to look at the guys too that's on the field bro you got to look at what you got out there man you know what I'm saying Got Talent bro you gotta you gotta look at the characters that's out there though bro I don't think they're very talented up front they lost their best they lost their best guy in Christian Wilkins you know what I'm saying and like like I said um before the show the way Miami was calling that offense I think the defense got a little pissed bro you know what I'm saying and then the fact that Miami couldn't make it on Third and one fourth and one you know what I mean I ain't gonna hold you man it look like Tua got it's like Tu than throw the game must somebody might want to check his bank account after but you know what tu tu does that Tua does that when he gets pressured he just throws the damn ball up for grabs he does that look like will Le so hey so M last that was so Mike what was your thoughts about that that Patriots win over the Bengals um last Sunday man I mean it's impressive right I mean I think that's probably was the most shocking win of the entire week but I also got to remind myself it's it's week one and two years ago we saw the Bears beat the 49ers one team went to the Super Bowl and the other one won two more games over the next 16 so I don't think I don't think New England's very good still but I will say who really impressed me is Christian Gonzalez that guy that guy's a beast out there he covered Jamar Chase 20 of his 28 routes and he had three catches for 14 yards I mean he's impressive like they don't have too many bright spots but he's one of them that's one of Bill bich picks he got right recent Bzz is the baller man yeah he is man I was pissed when he transferred from Colorado man went to um what's his name go ahead BJ what's your thoughts on that um that last game you saw from the patriots man so I would say this I'm not more I'm not as impressed with New England as I am disappointed with Cincinnati I think Cincinnati did not come to play they they just completely just fell flat on their face J Joe burrow looks like he doesn't he looks like a shell of himself you know he doesn't look like the the star player that he was turning into you know he he he looks like a shell of himself s like like he's regressed back to his rookie season almost you know that that's what I feel like or he could still be injured I think he still might be injured with that risk but you know what man it's week one and Cincinnati notorious for starting off slow man yep that they are but that's something they do it's a it's a it's a lot of hype surrounding Cincinnati right now you know and the talent that they have there I know T Higgins didn't play but but but um um um damn why can't I think of his name the receiver Chase Chase Chase was there you know so I just I just ended up I don't know I don't know I just I felt like they didn't show up I didn't it show up and and they underperform and made it made New England look like they were better than they really are I don't think New England is is good at all no I don't think but I think New England defense is tough man New England is one is GNA be one of the best in the league like I give him top 10 in the defense and I like the way you know um the coach the new for his first head coaching um job right there he had them ready to play man yeah to play and think about this Cincinnati's old line has never been great never while Joe burrow was there he's never had the luxury of having a great offensive line and number two now he don't have a great offensive line plus he don't have a running game yeah you know what I'm saying and then you know T Higgins is out you know who who's the tight end like it's just a whole lot of unknown and you think Joe bur been out you know what I'm saying he was out half the over half half the year last year it was with that R right it was his R yeah I mean all these factors in general bro you know what I'm saying led to what happened on Sunday to them you know but the two main factors is not having the uh the luxury of a decent line up front and then number two not being able to run the football to kind of uh control New England pass rush yeah yeah I mean they got to the they got to the red Zone but they just had these blunders man people got you know people letting the ball hit off their hands and you know fumbles and all that crazy stuff you know but C could that be a contribute to like what um BJ was saying the lack of preseason play it could be it most definitely could be yeah I I think I think I think a lot of these uh uh teams um are going to struggle because they haven't had the Reps if not that they're not talented enough NFL is about reps yeah it's about reps and and um and the repetitive nature of it when you not when you not playing football for a long time you're Rusty yeah it's gonna show and I think I think a lot of teams especially week one the rush really showed with a lot a lot of a lot especially on the offensive side for these teams lot of teams it was a lot of bad quarterback play yep from rookies from vets it was just it was awful across the board my and you gotta give a shout out to jaob brassette man for laying on the line man yeah yeah I like I like job he's gonna be a future um coach in the league man that's facts man so um now as far as the Jets well I think we all gonna give the Jets a pass because you know they played they got smoked by the 49ers so but but besides them I don't give him a pass yeah not so much pass but you know what I'm saying give him no have them winning that game I don't know how many people I either no but but a lot of a lot of people picked them to win a lot of people think that jet can make it to the Super Bowl yeah I don't see so so they don't deserve a pass do I think they gonna make it to Super no but a lot my thing is with that Jets game when I saw the main thing I saw Robert Salah got out coached ridiculously um with with his um his former boss he's one of those things like when you know when you try to come back and beat the person who taught you so much and stuff not knowing you know that's what happened he got smoked man that's what I'm saying I just I just don't trust Robert solid as a as a coach at all man I don't think he's I don't think he's a good head coach at all man a great defensive coordinator but head coach I'll pass on that all day long man well I mean even if you're looking at defense they give up 400 yards like this supposed to be the strength of the Jets team is their defense and then Rogers kind of carries the offense they give up 400 yards they give up 150 yards to a back of running back I mean yeah if you I don't I'm not going to penalize them too much for losing because I thought the Niners would win but I thought they'd look a little bit better they didn't blown out yeah and again I think everybody's Rusty I think everybody's Rusty especially the starters because I mean Rogers didn't play none of the preseason so you know that was his first action of live football in what over a year yeah and I know I keep saying this fellas but something that you cannot take for granted you cannot look past you can't over or underlook it physicality yeah the sh Shanahan's identity doesn't change bro he's coming to punch you in the face yes over and over and O it doesn't matter who he has in the back field listen we all know who his pops is bro his pops took a six round pick in Terrell Davis and made him a Hall of Famer bro listen they're going to run at you yeah and that's what they did to the Jets and the Jets knew it was coming and for whatever reason they linebackers played soft where the the old line was already at that second level you know instead of the linebackers going to meet going to that old line the old line was going at they ass and like he like Mike said man they got cooked on the ground they got cooked all through the game man so it's kind of they didn't prar that game at all man Shanahan I believe I believe Shanahan understands Personnel better than any coach in the league and I know there's a lot of great there a there's a few great coaches you know such as Andy Reed and you know what I'm saying to name one but Shanahan understands Personnel I think better than anybody in NFL yeah so he's going to he's going to see what you can't what you can stop he understands his qut he know he understands the guy that he has under Center that's why he played that game the way he played it he had to set the run up to set everything else up because the jet strength the strength of the jet is the defense and they were not going to let Shanah was not going to allow the Jets to Feast off of Brock per well see now let um I'm start just one with you Mike so the Jets they they got the titans this week coming up man do you see that as a a Get Right game for them where they well of course I think is a must I hate to say must win early in the season but for the Jets I don't they can't lose this game because the Titans what's your thoughts on that Mike yeah I think I pick the Jets to win I think it's a mismatch because we just saw Tennessee they're if they could force will Lis to throw they're going to win the game like I think it's that simple you shut down Tony Pard you make will Levis try to beat you and I don't think he will I think the Jets have a on paper better unit than the Bears too so if they have a solid game plan I mean they they should take will L's lunch money and even if Rogers still isn't sharp that offense they should still just be win it on defense like the Bears did but don't sleep don't sleep because we all know who to Co he's a Callahan you know and you know pop pop Callahan he believes in his offensive line and he believes in physicality he's going to come at the Jets the same way the ners did and if the Jets didn't learn they lesson from the week before the same thing could happen now could does Tennessee had ability to put up the number points 49 to dud no no hell no but that game could be a lot closer than we think if the Jets don't come with it this game I think the Jets might I wouldn't be surprised Jess beat him bad man I wouldn't be surprised at all like like Mike said cause cause will Lis I think that jet defense is gonna destroy that man don't sleep on defense though I'm not I'm not any defense I'm saying I I would take I'll put my money on the Jets defense to destroy will evens but you you have to you have to honor will will Levis if the Titans are running the ball at a good level man you'll have to kind of resp him but that's what I'm saying I don't think even even though I don't like Robert solz the head coach I think he'll have them them linebackers playing way much better than what they did FR more prepared what your thoughts on that the Jets and um Titans coming up man um DJ I don't know um I mean I think the Jets probably win but I I I don't think it's going to be a blowout I think um I think it's going to be competitive just like Mike said as long as will Levis is not back there trying to pass the ball right you know if if if if they if they can be balanced and able to be successfully balanced it's G to be a good game it's GNA be a close game but if if he's forced to throw the ball and thej able to put pressure on them oh this game is gonna be out of control pressure on it's gonna be out of control so so if it's a balanc game and they're able to control the clock like they were able to do against the Bears in the first half yeah I think I think that it it it would it would be an interesting game for sure yeah we definitely got away with one bro yeah that first half the Titans had full control of that game bro I meany you got look at the first half will L still didn't do it was still gonna win that game I feel gonna win game because it's it's tough from a West Coast team to travel to the east coast that's basically going from going from the other one side of country to the next because who are they playing they playing New England okay they playing the Seahawks right okay Seahawks and I think that defense is going to be the reason why this um Patriots beat the Seahawks man I like I like the Patriots defense I like them being at home the travel I don't like that for Seattle that matters man that matters that matters in my matter I think it matters more for those California teams you know what I'm saying weatherwise but you go to Seattle man it's it's still cold and [ __ ] man you know the it's not cold right now here but the you know well you you in the same area I'm at if the if the if the if the time difference the time you know yeah the time no no doubt and Seattle does that have a good history of um traveling out east man especially was one was it is it gonna be a one o'clock game too yeah one o'clock yeah but I'm not sold on New England though no I'm not sold on but I think because it's at home and I think I like New England defense what's your thoughts on that Mike again I kind of said I'm not too high on New England because I just don't think they're gonna be able to score like that offense is still very bad like brette had a good game against Cincinnati and I'll give him his credit where credit is due he had a very good game against Cincinnati but it's jacobe brassett at the end of the day he's not a guy that's going to consistently do this over a period of games and I think Seattle's still a good team so I don't see them continuing and I still think New England's probably a bottom three team in football even with their defense being not putrid yeah I wouldn't be surprised New England win this game and then they win another game for the rest of the year man I wouldn't be surpris at all man I that was literally might happen you know it's all about I think it's all about a game plan though like if New England come to this thing like they came against Cincinnati man I think it's going be it can go either way Any Given Sunday anybody can be beat like if you goodness for the defense and special teams because um the offense looked uh pretty dry I mean the offense didn't look good at all I'm not g I'm not even going to uh to uh you know beat around the bush about the offense didn't look good at all offense just look but but this is what I warned everybody I said that it's going to be a slow process it's a it's a learning process that's a rookie quarterback even though he he's quote unquote the the next coming of whatever you know generational bro generational he is still a rookie what happened with with shroud last year is not something that happens all the time so you you just can't expect that I know I know people want to expect that from him because he's supposed to be generational but you know I I think about the odds and the odds tell me he's a rookie and the odds are that he's probably not going to do what shroud did last year I'm not saying the rest of the season is not gonna go you know you know at status quo but I'm just saying that I think it's going to be some growing pays and so and last week showed that it's going to be some growing pays is his first game of the season you can see the Jitters you can see that he was you know even though he says he's not nervous he was nervous he was nervous you can see it you can see it and uh but I'm not worried I think he's gonna be I think he's GNA be great I think he's gonna uh turn into a superstar but I just know it's G to be some growing pains and that that kind of proved it to me but overall I thought the Bears they played okay they play okay defense played good in the second half uh special teams played damn good special teams played damn good I thought besides V I don't know am guy and he I am officially I think me and darus on the fence with veis I think were down 170 I got to give them credit when they stay in a game like that and come back and win so it's a big win for Eber flu but looking at the offense it doesn't seem like they're that far like the box score was bad Caleb played bad but there's a lot of little things that he was doing that show he's close like he said he doesn't get nervous and then just proceeded to say he gets anxious and a little tingly so describing what nervous is in a different manner basically and like it was like we know he's not an inaccurate quarterback like that throw to Allen he makes that eight out of 10 times he missed some other throws low batted balls I mean it was just a rookie game but he was making the right reads he was getting the ball out quick he had the quickest time to throw in the NFL in week one could helped him on that one play oh yeah like maybe it was a little too fast I think he mentioned that like his drop back was a little too fast he had slow it down a little bit so maybe it was getting out too fast but there's a lot of things to like about the offense even if the box score didn't show it and it was a little tough to watch there for a while and hopefully they just baby steps like if you see Improvement this week that's good hopefully next week a little more and then hopefully it starts to click week four week five true I like that that's I like that go ahead Dar defense you know because what I heard was when they went back to the locker room even when they was down 173 it was like Hey we got this we got this that's what the defense was saying you know so you know it's the guys coaches mean a lot I don't never downplay you know what I'm saying how much coaches matter but your leaders leadership on the field means everything bro yeah because even when the coach ain't right if you got the proper leaders on the field man you can get away with some things you know what I mean but um as far as on the offensive end I think Shane walren came into the game without a a real identity I believe he came into it just trying to show the Chicago fans you know show off this shiny new toy we have as a number one pick and that was to the detriment of the offense you know um offensive line didn't help because they didn't bring a whole lot of physicality watching um Shelton get run over by the linebacker Shelton look horrible out there watching Tevin Jenkins watching Kevin Jenkins you know get railroaded and just watching a lot of miscommunications with the o line you know it was kind of siing but again guys this was preseason week number four or five for us okay um but as far as game plan I don't think Shelton I I don't think he he was on I mean not sh but walren I don't think Waldren came in with the right game plan and he didn't even utilize all his weapons that too and see that's I was going there now I was going to the Personnel you know you spent all this money on a running back you know you gave C commit his paper no one's mad at none of that but why are not they're not being utilized you know what I'm saying why are you not allowing them to earn their paycheck like you you're giving guys just because you got familiarity with them you're giving them chances this ain't the time for that man you should have used all doing that it would help the quarterback your rookie quarterback settle down and get into a rhythm but see again it was a thing where you know let's show off our new toy it's third and two why are we in five wide shotgun you know what I mean bad play like it it was just a thing where he was like waling un W understands what we have we have a plethora of weapons and we have a guy that can deliver the football like we've never seen in Chicago in Chicago okay but going into that game man that just wasn't the right game plan then you know I don't know if you guys seen it but they were trying to roll him out but the play action doesn't work if you ain't been running the ball whole game in the first place like how does that work you know what I mean and then like I seen one playaction move that Caleb put the ball out and the running back is on the other side the damn like who are you trying to fool you know so hopefully this week you know we come in with a a a real game plan a real identity that's gonna carry us through the remainder of the Year especially if we win but just coming in there trying to show out man it's not gonna B well for us man yeah regards how well the defense plays now now for me man my biggest I two my two grabs is with well Shane Walen from both of them man I think like you said the Personnel Herbert needs more than two carries absolutely K needs more than one catch get these These are K is a young stud in my opinion get this man involved you gotta with with young quarterbacks you need them get them quick easy passes to get them in the Rhythm get their confidence going we didn't see none of that move well like you said well he couldn't move the because no Run game was there and my biggest issue I y'all noticed it was the rotation of the old line to guard position this is not high school football this is not peee football this is professional football you need continuity with the old line you need the same if you able to have the same guys out there find your set find your five and roll out don't rotate that's that that was that was pissing me off to see them rotating the guards this is not you don't do that in the NFL they were treat they were treating Caleb like he's a a veteran and not a rookie and that's y that's that's what and that's what with raw Caleb's a rookie you can't treat him like a veteran I know he he has the skill set of a polished uh veteran but he's not that was his first NFL regular season game now to to Caleb's to Caleb's thing to to give him some credit he protected the ball he have no turn turn he didn't turn the ball over there were some there were some plays where it should have been picked well you're gonna have those every game though you're gonna have those every game I get that but they need they they I I I know they want him to have free reign at it but they need to let him work into it yeah yeah you have to get them in a rhythm Shane didn't do none of that didn't do none of that and then look because the NFL game is so much faster than a college game and that's what he has to learn and develop he because in college he was able to run around and beat those defensive Lin with ease but in the pros you can't you he can outrun them because everybody's fast in the NFL true I mostly put the offensive struggles on Shane Walen man like like darus said that game plan I don't know he didn't have no game plan he was told to us what was told to us when Shane Wen was hired was what that he loves what tight end didn't use them didn't use one tight one tight every play I didn't even know every play this is what I'm saying man like you know sometimes you can out coach yourself bro there Bears going into Houston and and taking one um I like I said I seen some things um in that Indianapolis game I I know each game is different but I seen some things that the Bears can really exploit if we come out with the right you know with the right identity um but in saying all of that you know what I'm gonna be the I'm gonna be the uh the underdog man and I'm gonna change my my pick I say the Bears win in houon I like that and that that may seem a little homish but no it's not I wouldn't be surprised if they went at all listen I like the score to be like 27 24 then that means the offense how the offense played last week but I don't think it's gonna be a repeat this week I really think I really I really think the defense can um Can can really capitalize here uh look at this hater um I really think that uh this defense could capitalize um uh against the Texans and um I think it's gonna be a low-scoring game I don't think it's gonna be a highs scoring game I think um I'm going 20 uh 13 team Bears yeah see yeah well for me man I had early in the season we was doing the schedule thing I had the Bears losing this game I'm gonna stay with that I hope I'm wrong I would not be surprised pull it out either I wouldn't be surprised you know I expect him to keep it close and anything can happen Any Given Sunday but like Mike said man I think Texans are just a year in advance than the bearss man so I like to tell uh I hope the Bears win of course but you know this is one of the losses I have them losing this year anyway yeah so you know I think a lot of people are going to have the Bears lose but I I I just think the Bears really turn the script they they turn the page this week I really this is I think this is the week they turn the page to toig to piggyback off Darius said if they they gotta come out fast man they have to on the offense they have to you can't be sluggish because you know the defense is going to be there the defense is going to be there it's but you can't keep the defense on the field you going to tire out that's what you saying that's got but see this is what I'm saying to you there's a lot of soft spots on that Texas defense okay come out with a level of physicality showing that you're going to run the football right you got not with Travis Homer you know not with the G reverses and all that line up is Roan back if it's too tight be back this Sunday if it's two tights or two backs run the football then when you get advantageous situations such as second and five or third and short you can play you can go to play action game that way too but you have to come out with some level of physicality showing that you're going to run the ball by any means bro yeah those Five Guys Up Front Gotta look at themselves in the mirror before they
