Bungie reveals NEW DUNGEON Info... the Hardest Dungeon EVER?...

what is up guys it's your boy Rick cacus and today we've got some brand spanking new Destiny 2 News courtesy of the Bungie weekly update that has just gone live revealing official information and so let's get started now first things first what's been going on this week in Destiny 2 well quite a lot actually so on the Monday September 9th it was actually the 10th anniversary of Destiny a small in-game event went live to celebrate where you can go and find these hidden chests to unlock special armor sets for your different characters there's a new Legend title as well if you guys want to know how to do that definitely check out my video linked right up above but at the same time Bungie also released like four different developer updates detailing the future of Destiny 2 and I broke those down into two different videos this one linked up above right here is going to be about the broad Strokes what Bungie is planning to change going forward as well as uh the importantly new content road map they released revealing two new expansions we also got some details on the next upcoming expansion code name Apollo definitely again check that out linked right up above and in addition to that I made a second video going over how they're going to overhaul activities as well as loot there's stuff like customizable modifiers uh to adjust difficulty coming to the game legendary weapons are now going up to tier five some crazy crazy changes again definitely check out that video linked right up above so uh the 10th anniversary event as well as massive developer articles talking about the future of Destiny 2 that's what we had on the Monday on the Tuesday weekly reset we had week three of The Encore exotic mission where you can go and earn the final exotic catalyst for your choir of one if you haven't done that you need to know where the new secret puzzles and chests are definitely check my video on the subject linked right up above i s to keep saying that but again like a ton of stuff happened if I rehashed everything in this video it'd be two hours long so aside from that guys let's get into the brand new information revealed in the twab so first of all again Bungie does their own recap of a lot of the stuff linking to these articles and all that but something really interesting that happened during all of this is this is the 10th anniversary promotional image and you'll notice the Titan in the middle is using the iconic Icebreaker exotic sniper rifle right this was an infinite ammo sniper from Destiny 1 people loved it it's kind of been like the most powerful Destiny 1 weapon that hasn't yet returned to Destiny 2 well as you can see right here bungei actually confirmed that the Icebreaker is coming to Destiny 2 in the next dungeon but but when exactly is the next dungeon well Bungie reveals that today in the new twab saying new dungeon on October 11th in just under a month on October 8th episode Revenant will launch we have tons of new details to share with you before that time but today we wanted to focus on just one bit the new dungeon launching on Friday October 11th at 10 a.m. Pacific the new dungeon will feature a contest mode for the first time ever so gather your favorite fire team save the date and we'll have more details for you in the weeks ahead wow so that is a massive piece of information so contest mode is usually reserved for day one raids it's going to make things significantly more difficult it's going to put you something like 20 light levels behind the enemies so you are going to have way less survivability you're not going to do as much damage all the while you're trying to fix figure out the mechanics of the brand new dungeon so definitely often dungeons were completed in a matter of you know a couple hours maybe an hour now it could take a while for people to get that first clear and of course as soon as your boy gets it done I will absolutely be posting a new dungeon guide for dummies so definitely make sure you're subscribe for that now moving on from there guys Bungie talks a bit about the Encore exotic Mission because it along with the storyline for episode echoes came to its conclusion this week so they say discover Maya's Secrets within and then they say hey there's a new exotic weapon of course the choir of one you can earn but after that they say a few Secrets await first of all they talk about you know getting those secret chests earning new exotic catalysts for your choir of one but then they also say we've heard Whispers of a very cool secret emblem that perceptive and Speedy Guardians can add to their collection so yes turns out if you have the whisper of the worm equipped you'll open a secret underground area that has a portal and entering this portal will actually put you in a speedrun challenge which will earn you a secret Triumph and a new emblem again did a video going over all of that stuff it's the last video I uploaded on the channel but uh pretty crazy and unexpected moving on from there they say Bungie Foundation is headed to twitchcon they say pack your Shades and floaties we're headed to Sunny San Diego from September 20th to the 22nd they say we've got something special for those in attendance by finding the bungi foundation team at the convention and making an in-person donation you'll get this uh magnetosonic waves emblem which is only available IRL during twitchcon so this will definitely be a very desirable emblem moving on from there guys Bungie goes over the # sword logic moments just a ton of different clips and so on from the week of infinite ammo swords so of course you can check those out uh on the twab which is linked in the description of this video after that they talk about the legends of Destiny art show tour it comes to Los Angeles on September 14th you can see the information right there guys and before we end here one last thing in terms of some need to know information is the Skywatch enemy density so part of that 10th anniversary Legend emblem is earning engrams in Skywatch in the cosmodrome and it is brutal like the chances for enemies to drop those engrams randomly are not high which I think is actually a pretty appropriate throwback to Destiny 1 the loot was not flowing and launch Destiny one I'm sure the veterans will attest to that but they say we've heard your feedback to alleviate uh and allow The Accidental generosity Triumph required for the legend title to be completed in a more timely manner we are increasing enemy density in Skywatch in a future update in the meantime there are still several weeks left to earn the legend pin uh so definitely guys uh a little bit of information on that if you're frustrated you can always hold off until they actually buff it and then the next thing I talk about is actually the armor ornaments now this seemed obvious to me but a lot of people are complaining about this because when you actually go and unlock the 10th anniversary armor it's not transmog right but there's a full set of ornaments of the very same armor waiting for you in the special delivery kiosk uh that you just need to go to on each of your different characters so definitely make sure to do that if you're kind of confused about the transmog thing again this uh you know it's a it's a fun little event but it really wasn't explained very well just kind of went live in game and when it did there was not even a popup I guess it's kind of supposed to be a secretive event but yeah there you go guys I'm moving on from there
