Are we living right? Another perfect night for high school football, big games galore all over Central Ohio. Hello everyone. I'm Dom Tory, welcome to 1st and 10 and I'm Adam King. Four weeks from right now. We will be saying so long to the regular season, every game so important. Now, no bigger sign of that than conference play being here. Don. Yes, no question about that. That's certainly the case with our game of the week OCC central with up Arlington hosting Hilliard Bradley, the Bears Forum one, hosting 5 to 0. The Jaguars of Hilliard Bradley Upper Arlington cheerleaders. They got some love for Yolanda Harrison. 10. Very nice job. Ladies, first quarter Golden Bears get on the board first. Edward Oakley connecting on 25 yard field. Go up Arlington let three to nothing. Bradley comes back. Jacob Walter connecting from 34 yards out. We're tied at three now to the second quarter. Golden Bears back at it, Tommy Jana win and a quarterback. How about that play to Austin Stutts for the touchdown? Bears led 10 to 3 but Bradley is going to come back just before half time. Brayden flee Hardy airs it out to Ethan Tibbetts. How sweet is that 55 yard touchdown? We're tied at 10 at halftime. Hilliard Bradley goes on to win 24 to 22. Adam they're now 6 to 0. All right, Gahanna trying to keep a zero in the loss column as well. Welcoming Weslin, not just football season but homecoming season as well. Not a great start to homecoming night for Gahanna. The Cougars throw it up and this just landed in the end zone right there. Landon bought the score. The Lions defense though, took just one drive for them to wake up Daniel Ako. There is the pick right there and here comes the six and from there it was nothing but Lions. The strip sack now for Gahanna gets them the ball back right here and for the rest of the game, they just dominated arguably the best back in the state. He is that for a reason, Dior Hubbard, he's strictly business. Gahanna all business tonight. They win 49 to 7 over Westland two games make a streak and Watson is hoping to start one tonight after 11 straight losses to Hartley Waterson hoping to make it back to back wins over the Hawks. Good way to get on TV. Have the whole student section chant 10 TV. We start with Hartley down by 21. They need something and Ryan Perry is just that in double coverage. He goes up and pulls that one down. The Hawks are moving. If you wonder how hard Robert Layon is working out there. Look no further than the turf that is stuck in the side of his helmet after that touchdown. Hartley got a little fire. Now that is until the fumble on this play on the snap. So Watson gets the ball back and with it, Zach Weber around the edge cashes it in two plus four equals six. The Eagles, they get a huge win tonight 35 to 7 over Hartley. All right. Next up, we head to and Tangy Berlin the Bears hosting the Braves of all and tangy third quarter, the fans are going crazy and, and Tangy wanting to throw the football check out Ethan Guna Meyer goes to Gavin Grover and for the touchdown and the Berlin League was cut to 17 13. Come back with Berlin. This is Aguilar Alejandro taking it in for the touchdown. It's a 24 13 game but again, and Tang is going to try to come back, Ethan Guna Meer avoids the rush, lets it air out and Drew Walters is there and they're in business flag and everything and he made the catch and they finish it off. Riley Clarkson with the grab there for the touchdown. But Berlin goes on to win 27 to 20. Any city league. We have the Cowboys of West hosting those Nubians of Afrocentric. The band is rocking it. Second half Afrocentric in charge Nubians want more check out Charles Jennings Griffin breaks free on this play and he's going to take it 80 yards for the touchdown. Nubians led 29 to nothing at that point and they're not done. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Mackay Johnson when we come back and Mackay Guy got off the field there just in time, just in time. There you go. And there goes mckay and for the touchdown. Afrocentric boy, they roll in this one as they went 56 to nothing. Adam, we have history for you at Centennial High. We've drummed up a defensive highlight here between these two Mifflin and centennial and it's centennial special teams. They're gonna take the spotlight first, the blocked punt here. Well, that's not what you want to do if you are Mifflin, but that's ok. They would get the ball back until this happens, the interception by Isaiah Cox and I told you this is all about defense and so far it's centennial with the two big plays, but they aren't done here because Mifflin gets a huge one. Let's take a look at that again in instant replay gets both feet and bounce. That's an interception. And Mifflin, how about this for the first time since 2019? They get a win 14 to nothing. Congratulations to the punchers in 30 games down, 30 games. Yeah, I wasn't playing then, but are you sure about that? Well, maybe anyways, uh, that's six games down and four more to go before we are completed. After the break, we took the camera to see Undefeated Canal Winchester. They find themselves ranked for the first time this season. But can they keep it that way? We'll show you next, man. Look at that. You know, there is nothing like high school football on a Friday night. I got to say that Waterson students section. I don't think they took a moment to catch their breath tonight. Got to give them a huge shout out. Yeah, that was amazing. All right, so many good games tonight, including a good one in the Central Catholic League with ST Charles hosting the sales, you know, the Cardinals four and one. That's their record going up against a Dees team. That's two and three. Yeah, the fans fired up and, uh, here we go. We're looking at RJ DAY under pressure and he gets sacked, but the sales is going to hang in there. RJ DAY wants to throw. And how about that grab? And how about that play there in business that will set up the touchdown in? They go. The sales goes on to win. There you go. That was the final right there. You see it. 28 7 Stallions. All right. Next up. Big Walnut coming out on the field. They are one in four taking on Franklin Heights and this is Garrett Stover number 10 in for the touchdown running hard and the Eagles led seven to nothing and the Golden Eagles, they're going to keep it going. Nice fake here, Brody Hatfield in for the touchdown. It's a 14 0 game finishing it off with Jake Nier. Watch. This goes to Nate receivers for the touchdown. Big Walnut rolls 42 to 7. Last week, the lights went off in the middle of the football game for Canal Winchester. So tonight against Dublin Toyota, they're hoping the lights stay on, but they play lights out, They've crowned the king and now time for some football and David Adams, he got that memo. Great, great last name. I use it as a first name. Tom. Great run here. Canal. They're ranked seventh and still undefeated. Max Brunner is a big reason why he's a QB but Brunner also a runner, he's headed for the end zone. This game was tied up at half but in the second sayo, they go to their lock and key Jave Thompson, the grab from Jack mckee. But that's where the highlights stop for Dublin because Canal Winchester make it six and zero on the season. They dominate winning 38 to 7 over Dublin Cita Grove City. They're in statement making mode. They've won their last three games 161 to nothing. But now they welcome New Albany and the Eagles and Joseph Owasso Ansa, they're going to ruin that shut out streak early in this game. The Eagles on top. And then how about this? From Matthew Papa? Sometimes they say you just got to keep the play alive and here he does and he finds the Metal man Owen Steele heading down the sideline. How he makes that throw? I don't know. But the Greyhounds in New Albany playing one of the best games of the night separated by just a point but it is New Albany winning 25 to 24 snaps that one streak for Grove City. All right, that's going to put a wrap on all our highlights from week six of the football season, but we're not done. Are we? No, now, you and I get to go to break and debate what we thought were the best plays of the night, top plays coming up next time for our plays of the week, we start with Daniel Opoku waiting for the interception and then immediately turning up field for the pick six. All right up for Arlington hosting Hilliard Bradley. How about this play? Bradley quarterback Brayden flee Hardy to even Tibbetts 50 yards five strike, 55 yards strike for the touchdown as Bradley beats Arlington. Sometimes. All you have to do is leave. And I think that's what the Greyhounds did on this play and steal wide open downfield, how he gets the ball. We'll never know but a massive 75 yard touchdown in that one. Now on to some college football and simply put its peak college football, Ohio State versus Notre Dame, a top 10 match up under the lights in South Bend, the Buckeyes probably not going to sleep well tonight over in Indiana. All this excitement. Well, this is a game we've all been waiting for. The Buckeyes have done a great job so far this season of not looking ahead, but it's now time to play this game. The good news is Ohio State is coming off their best performance of the year ripping Western Kentucky 62 to 10. But playing at Notre Dame will be a challenge. Coach Day has a message for you Buckeye fans making the trip. Yeah, to, to have a presence. Yeah, to have a presence because, uh, we'll be in enemy territory but, but that's good. Um, and you know, when we make a play, we gotta make sure that we're heard that, uh, you know, Buckeyes always have a presence and you can see all of that interview tomorrow morning, 9 to 10 a.m. right here on 10 TV, game time with Ryan Day. That's the official coaches show of the Ohio State football team. I have Ohio State winning 35 to 21. I have 38 24. So we're in the same, same ballpark and I thought you were gonna say my score there for a second, not gonna steal it anymore. I will appreciate that. So there you go. Good night everyone. We'll see you tomorrow.
