How sweet it is. We have had nine straight weeks of perfect weather for high school football. Next week, the regular season comes to an end. Can we make it 10 in a row, Jerry Martz. Hello, everyone. I'm Dom to be welcome to 1st and 10 and I'm Adam King of Friday the 13th edition of 1st and 10. But teams open for some good luck tonight. And do most people say that you're to save the best for last? Not here on 1st and 10. We are starting with a big one. I was born on a Friday the 13th. Uh, doesn't surprise you at home. Right. Certainly the case with our game of the week, Thomas Worthington hosting Hilliard Darby. If the season was to end now both these teams would be in the playoffs. The Cardinals five and three on the year. Darby four and four pick this one up in the first quarter. No score. Darby jumping out Jackson Hoffman, he breaks free and watch this takes it 75 yards for the touchdown. No one's going to catch him. Seven. Nothing is the score. Second quarter. Thomas Worthington Nice Drums trying to get on the board kicker Maddox boy, 46 yarder bounces off the crossbar, man just that close. Uh, Darby keeps it going on offense, freshman running back, Cohen Corne gate finishing off the long drive the two yard touchdown. Hilliard Darby goes on to win 30 to nothing now to the number eight team in the state and tangy at Jerome the Braves one loss all year first drive of the game and it's Jackson Wiley looking like the road runner getting past the defense here. They score and you know what they do when they score, do they throw glitter up in the air? I thought it went beep, beep and it goes, that's good. Well done. Now, Kyle White, he throws into double coverage but not much worry on his face because Zach Thomas making catches like this. The Celtics tie it up. But all in Tangy, it's a little unfair down. They have Rob Gronkowski on their team G Grover. He's headed the UC next year and GG says good game to Jerome Old and Tangy keeps it rolling. They win 35 to 20. Our game of the week was a great one. But this matchup between Bloom Carroll and Hamilton Township could make a case to be one of the best of the year. A combined 16 games played between these two teams, just one loss this season. The band is done playing which means it's time for Na Year Langston to go to work. He disappears for a second. But when you see him again, he's in the end zone tied up 7 to 7. Now, Bloom Carroll and Ethan than, than are going fishing. He finds Dylan Arm and Trout and this will from here on out be known as the stiff arm and trout takes out two defenders at 1 75 yards later, he's got six, but the Rangers have another set of their own. And Jon mcbride, anything you can do, I can do better. 80 yards and a cloud of turf. What a night for the Rangers Hamilton township. They kick a field goal with 50 seconds left. That gives them the 31 to 28 win. Although I think the coach loses that chest bump right there. All right. Next up, we head to the city league with four and four. Marion Franklin hosting five and three, East Moor Academy. There's a big game folks in the city league. Hello, ladies, third quarter tied at 14. Check out Marian Franklin's TJ Black gets to the corner bus free. He's gonna take it in for the touchdown. The try for two. No good Devils led 20 to 14. Come back TJ Black just getting warmed up, brings it back 70 yards for the touchdown here. The try for two was good this time the Devils led 28 14 and then it is the Devils getting it done on defense, Dwayne Galloway Junior, the interception and he knows what to do turns the Jets on brings it back 65 yards for the touchdown. Marion Franklin goes on to win 36 to 14 and the hits, they keep coming as we head to the fortress in EC seven and one. Bishop B. Reedy hosting three and five. Bexley. Jeff Happ, co captain Rey, honoring the 1983 state championship team. Third quarter, Rey is up big, Bexley. Still competing. Check this out. Jackson Fry airs it out, Jamie Wright, a great catch. He's going to take it 80 yards for the touchdown Lions. They are on the board but Reedy will come back. Check out the hard running here by Ser Prince Grimes fights his way into the end zone. Bishop Reedy rolls 56 to 7 now undefeated Hilliard Bradley at all and Tangy Orange and this is the look of a very happy student section going to be a lot happier after this. The ball goes over Bradley's head and that is where Grant Windler finds a gift to touch down old and tangy. And the band celebrates by playing the drums on their head. What other way would you celebrate Bradley defense? They want some highlights of their own. Andrew Miller grabs the interception and then the Jags, they go to work. Braden Flea Hardy finds Preston Wolf here on the play action and you know what's better than one interception in a game? Well, for Andrew Miller tonight, it was two interceptions. This is his second and the Jags get their ninth win of the year 28 to 7 over all and tangy or all right. That is six games down for 1st and 10. But Adam, we are far from done yet. When we come back, we've got four more games for you including one team trying to stay perfect on the season. That's next. That is talent. That is the old and tangy orange drum corps playing the drums upside down. Can you do it? I can do it. I will say this. I think we should both give it a try after the show. I would, I would love to see you give it. I can't play the drum standing up. So, no, but we have more highlights to get to, although it's hard to top that down. Yes. And we get back into it as we head to Pickerington North. The Panthers hosting the Eagles of New Albany pick North looks to be the real deal this year. Folks putting their perfect eight, no record on the line hosting the three and five Eagles. Yeah. You know, the fans are fired up for this one. Pick it up in the third quarter. New Albany up 14 7 pick North comes back, Logan o'connell to Derek Ross Junior for the touchdown. The extra point. No good Eagles led 14, 13 pick North though. Keeps it going still in the third Landon o'connell to aj Miller for the touchdown try for two good Panthers led 21 14. New Albany would add a field goal in the fourth quarter. Is low. Clapper splits the upright, but that's as close as they get. Pick North goes on to win 21 17. The Panthers are now nine and zero on the year. Next up back to the city league, the Sixers of Independence hosting the Cowboys of West. We'll pick this one up in the first quarter and Independence is going to jump out. They go through the banner and look at this breaks free and he's gone 20 yards for the touchdown try for two was good and the Sixers led eight to nothing. Second quarter and the Sixers want more. Rob J Magnus takes off running but loses the ball into the end zone, but no worries his teammate Omega Wall there to recover the touchdown try for two. No good Sixers led 14 nothing. Now on the ensuing kickoff, West Jamir Johnson picks the ball up and watch. This brings it back 90 yards for the touchdown. Independence wins 48 to 6. I can promise you this. If you go see a harvest prep football game, you're going to see a lot of scoring the Warriors averaging 35 points a game this year. That's one of the reasons they're one of the best teams in the state. You've got to break some banners to hang a banner harvest prep. They waited all of a minute to find the end zone for the first time today. Chris Brown, look at him now. Bobbles it but makes it look easy. Harvest, prep up six to nothing. And why throw the football when you can just so easily walk over to the end zone and just reach across the line of scrimmage. That is Ernest Pierce for the score, harvest prep up two touchdowns. But looking Heights and Jalen F more liked what they just saw from Pierce and they'll borrow that play themselves. The QB touch down this game close for a while, but in the end it's harvest prep continuing to win this time 34 to 18. Now to Dublin Kaufman hosting Upper Arlington and we go inside the huddle for this one, obviously very happy there. Three touchdowns for Upper Arlington and then the Kaufman defense showed up the offense though. Not so much for the CM Rocks tonight. A field goal at the end of the first half, the last score of the game, this upper Arlington team, I'll tell you this. They're going to give somebody a problem in the playoffs. They got the job done tonight. 21 to 3. And then there was one done nearly three months of football, hundreds of games and now we're just down to one final week of the regular season. Yeah, we have to take a break, but when we come back, our favorite part of the show, we will unveil our top plays from week nine, first and 10. We'll be right back and welcome back to 1st and 10. Right now. It is time for us to unveil our top plays of week nine, quite a few to pick from, but there can only be three. So here we go. And we're starting with what I think if we handed out a play of the night would probably earn that Dylan Arm and Trout or as it will forever be called stiff arm and Trout, the man takes out two defenders with one stiff arm there, Dom, and he's rewarded with a touchdown. That's pretty good. How about this play from Hilliard, Darby Jackson Hoffman breaks free 75 yards for the touchdown as the Panthers go on to beat Thomas Worthington for an eight straight time and then we finish with, this doesn't matter if there's double coverage if you can jump up and make a play like Zach Thomas, what a catch for Dublin Kaufman, but it is and tangy continuing their dominant season.
