[Music] hey everybody this stew with wine on the diamond today I'm going to be reviewing the 2022 game box it is the Neil Patrick Harris Wonder Cade Edition um it's wines of distinct character and distinction uh packaging that's more mindful so uh I think it's because it's the box wine the the interesting thing though is that I was looking at the store and I was like yeah I haven't done a box wine for while so I'm going to pick one or two up um and I found something that is not only going to entertain your soul from the wine but it will also entertain your mind because this thing is full of games it's full of trivia and in case you were too stupid to understand how to open it or you get distracted by all the games the instructions are on the bottom too on how to open this magic spout so it's one of those things where I couldn't pass this up I had to it was like $20 so this roughly comes out to about $5 per bottle of wine I have no clue if this thing is any good or not my wife already tapped into it and she refused to say anything so I'm hoping that uh that I I just don't get tricked by by Neil Patrick Harris here don't hate the player hate the game anyway let's take a look at the color of this wine from a color standpoint I'm going to give you a medium pink orange salmon no artifacts no cloudiness so on the nose I'm getting okay so there's red cherry there's some r raspberry there a very very slight Touch of cantaloupe there's also like a like a peaches and cream type of thing going on here there's also a hint of an overripe strawberry so there's a lot of red fruit it's a very red fruit with a little bit of like stone fruit a little bit of like creaminess and a little bit of that melon anyway how does it taste so it's essentially a very red fruit primary Rosé that that peaches and cream type of note that I was getting it doesn't show up until the mid pallette uh even then it's very weak the cream is not there it's just on the nose that the actual pallet aspect of it isn't there uh I will say the Cherry is sort of this uh just ripe cherry and that strawberry really is an overripe strawberry it has a medium plus acid medium body low alcohol it has a medium minus finish and the melon aspect is weird because it kind of shows up on the approach and then it goes away and it shows up to the beginning of the finish and then it goes away so for the most part you're just kind of getting red notes all the way throughout with just little kisses of those other fruit clusters it's a dry wine yeah no no tan let's get to the Blick from a balance standpoint I'm going to actually go ahead and give you good like I don't really have any complaints about this it's not too acidic it has a right amount of body so no complaints length medium minus finish .25 intensity it's medium on the nose and the palette so half a point and in terms of complexity you're fairly simple it's basically red fruits across the board uh with little hints of other stuff but not enough to BU you really sticking around so in terms of complexity I'm I'm really not going to give you anything here I'm just going to you're you're more of the simple wine here so once you add everything up you're you're almost good I feel like saying that this wine is okay is a good place to put it no but here's the deal about this wine is that I in terms of experience it's good because you you have a wine that's okay especially for people who aren't picky you can take it to an event where you maybe don't know some people or you do know people and you could use it as ice breakers or just fun ways to engage with people as you're sitting there having a few glasses of this wine you can just pop the bag out lay the thing flat if you want and just play games or have everybody kind of do different things around it while you're all sitting there drink I mean you can do some fun stuff with this so from an experience standpoint it's good from a wine standpoint it's okay but I mean overall I I don't feel like I was tricked on this one anyway this is with wi on the dime if you like today's review please like subscribe and comment have you had the game box Neil Patrick Harris Wonder Kade Edition I'd be interested to know if you have leave a comment below and let me know if you thought it was legend wait for it and I hope you're not lactose intolerant cuz the second half of that word is dairy I had to throw that in I had to throw that in leave a comment below and I'll see you all again soon with another review from wine on the do time
