Why Tennessee Titans Minicamp Shocked Everyone | NFL Football 🏈

Tennessee Titans mini camp is in the books who was the biggest surprise who's trending up who's trending down and who you should be warned of all next on upload [Music] live so as we kick off the show kind of caught your eye definitely let us know in the comments and we'll be sure to get back to you so Tennessee Titans mini camp like I said officially in the books June 4th through 6th they went three straight days there are some really good things I believe that came out of Camp there were some things that I was just unsure of and there's still some question marks let's not kid oursel still need a safety plenty of safety options out there I think May is going to be the guy they pick again he's not the guy I would have picked but I think he's already been in for a visit probably expect him to be into Camp especially like I said maybe not OTAs but training camp so let's dive right into the show again mini camp officially done who stood out so we'll start with the cornerback from Tennessee um obviously he was a transfer in from Vanderbilt but uh Judy Jolly played pretty well from from all accounts even gave uh Hopkins a little run for his money frustrated him a little bit did pretty well I heard his name multiple times and then obviously Jim Wyatt's notes I'm a little bit intrigued with that I know Caleb Farley coming back was more of a a Feelgood story at this point and I do hope that Farley makes something of this team you do start to see some underlying stories that make it into training camp so again my biggest surprise out of camp and I might shock some of you other than the Judy Jolly guy was Mason Rudolf now Mason Rudolph hear me out on this one okay cuz I wasn't originally going this way and then I heard something over the weekend so I get a text from my buddy Dave who's a big time Steelers fan and according in the Pittsburgh Steeler Market on their radio and in their little Network scheme like we have in the Titans the name that's been getting a lot of Praise over mini cam was Mason Rudolph Mason Rudolph came over from Pittsburgh and a lot of us just penciled them in as the number two which I think at this point he's still number two but the thing with Mason which I don't think a lot of us realize is he's actually pretty good and the more and more people that come out of Pittsburgh and talk about Mason Rudolph they talk very highly of him they're very intrigued to see where Mason Rudolph's going to fit in with the Tennessee Titans this year Callahan came out and said hey we're going to have a backup uh competition so we're talking about training camp battles backup quarterback's going to be on there but I'm telling you as of right now Malik Willis we'll get into him a little bit later in the Show versus Mason Rudolph Mason Rudolph took a step during this Camp okay he got some praise from Jim Wyatt but he's looked sharp from what I've heard and like I said I don't know if there was a Steelers reporter there I don't know if there was someone connected to Pittsburgh who was giving him this information but from Pittsburgh radio Mason R Rudolph is having a really really good camp now there are Steeler fans that think he's going to ultimately start for the Tennessee Titans I'm going to put kind of pump the brakes on that right now and say W let's take a step back on that one but it is a it's good news let's just say that if if Will Levis is your starter and he is being just pushed as hard as he can be to be the best that he can be Mason Rudolph has done his job if Mason Rudolph can go in a game during the season and get a win Mason Rudolph has done his job all right any other surprises you guys again leave them in the comments who your most surprised with it could be a good thing it could be a bad thing um I know some people have went off on tray and Burks as a bad thing like hey you know Ken mentioned he's going to play special teams and and he's worked out as Gunner and kick returner maybe punt returner and all that and my take on that was you heard it last week like trayon Burks is a pretty good wide receiver the only reason why tayin Burks has difficulty is he just can't stay on the field the buzz out of Camp was that tray and Burke's going to play special teams that's fine but they should be working with tray and Burks as wide receiver for them to go out and say he's not going to be a starter and I don't even need any expectations for Tay and Burks tray and Burks it's a Make It or Break Year want to basically make sure he can give it his all to play wide receiver and that should be his Focus finally the last surprise that I think is a surprise is Will Levis will Levis came in to Camp everybody was on fire for will L and and to be fair I think people should still have their expectations now remember we in this offseason it's been a lot about will Lis 32nd you know FanDuel 32nd quarterback in the league right there's 32 themes he's 32 we've seen a lot of different scenarios take shape where people were ranking you know National media whatever and will Levis is kind of a big reason why people haven't bought into the Tennessee Titans again you can have your opinion on will leves I'm excited about will leves I know this is Will L's football team I don't think Mason Rudolph was brought in to bre to be the starter I did have that feeling when Ryan tanah Hill was brought in as a fourth round pick and I remember getting booed and laughed off the stage but when we look realistically at will Levis it's a new offense so should I be somewhat concerned that he was three of eight and no I'm I'm not concerned with Will Levis the main issue with Levis is he's connected to the offense yes he's made some bad throws apparently at cam I mean hacki got picked off by Gibbons for crying out loud but the issue is that offense is new it's going to take some time it's it's a work in progress so the best part about will Levis during mini camp was how it ended he came back I don't know the tennesseans said he was 8 for10 Jim Wyatt said 7 for 10 no matter who right who's wrong the only thing I care about is he had a bad day Wednesday apparently and came back and had a pretty good productive day on Thursday and that's what it's about you're going to be ups and you're downs I'm going to give you some names that you should be warned about because you're going to hear a lot about them you already are hearing a lot about them and we told you you were going to hear about some of these guys some of these are new but one guy in particular I told you you're going to hear all about it on Camp it's going to be videos and and and just the reasoning the rationale behind it just makes me roll my eyes so ads Sports came out with five guys that they thought basically helped their stock and five guys that were losers right I mean and there are other sites that have come out with winners or losers and this isn't Me Knocking adz Sports at all right I'm just kind of was like hey who do they got do I have anybody that I'm high on and they're high on or or vice versa so there were some names of trening up JC Lam trening up for the reason season of hey looks the part uh hits the sleds great okay can he play left tackle I still don't know that he seems to be team oriented uh eventually is going to be a great leader and it seems like he's going to be a great fit for the Titans I mean that's that's all I'm hearing and I I believe that I'm buying into that through the videos the press conferences his sense of humor he's starting to kind of make his way of of being the Top Dog on that offens line uh Judy Loi was another guy they were high on which makes sense jaquin Jackson now again Jaan Jackson's fine I I knew this one was coming um but when you're telling me that he's great and he's he's he's off to a great start he's doing all these great things and you mentioned the fact that we're talking about his foot speed and how he does the drills and does the ladder in particular about how quick his feet are I'm out I can't do it anymore I've done this every single season as a Tennessee Titans fan it seems like since I've been on on YouTube and and it it doesn't matter if it's khif Raymond it doesn't matter if it's um doesn't matter if it's Kyle Phillips or Cameron Batson Marcus Johnson or Chester Rogers it's the same thing every single year during this time and now the guy iswan Jackson which I told you was going to happen and it's it's happening before your very eyes so buckle up get ready for an offseason and and start a training camp and most a training camp till we see him out there in um week one I'm not going to be like just penciling him as a as a day one he's going to be out there so we'll see I'm I'm optimistic uh I'm excited he seems to have a great skill set but I also know what he did in college and like I said doesn't always mean much but in this case I'll prove why I think it does Jack Gibbons and sadique Charles are two other guys they're very high on again sadique Charles for the fact that he's running with the ones which I guess that's pretty impressive right and then Jack Gibbons as I mentioned earlier picked off will Levis so and showing leadership I mean how could that not be your guy now it's time for the losers will Levis because of the day of Wednesday apparently didn't do great at the end of Tuesday into Wednesday but then bounce back on Thursday but again it's a whole new offense so I'm giving Will Levis a pass on that tray and Burks for the fact that he was mentioned in special teams and and fell short on a few targets of some sort we weren't expecting trayon Burks to be the number one or number two wide receiver this year and when they brought in Tyler Boyd we didn't really expect him to be number three but we did say if he replaced Tyler boy during the season that's what we should be rooting for because Tyler Boyd's going to be going and Tyler Boyd has done his job if he pushed tray and Burks to take his spot during the year here trayon Burks this is kind of like his Make It or Break It year so trending down fine but trending down because the coach mentioned him in special teams I can't buy into that one Daniel brunskill we don't really get a reason why it's just the fact that sadique Charles is apparently running with the ones and everybody forgot about um brunskill but there is some sort of narrative here I don't know why there's so many people out on brunskill the guy's not done any he seems to be like a well respected guy from interviews he's 30 years old he's not too old he's an offensive lineman he is Ran's guy technically coming from San Francisco he was their sixth man but he did a really good job like San Francisco 49er fans were like yeah he's okay he's a solid sixth but man when we signed him everyone was like hooting and hollering about how he's going to be this next great thing on the offensive line but the problem is he was actually your best offensive lman last year and now all of a sudden we act like he's not relevant and the opening line in the article says the national media May pencil them in but I don't know if you should and it's like it's like this whole thing of like hey we know more than you know and I and I can't stand it because at the end of the day I think they know what they have in brunskill they don't know really what they have in Charles they don't know what they have in some of these other guys so they're going to give a lot of time to some of these other guys to see what they got but ultimately brunskill let me go ahe and keep saying it brunskill is going to be your starting Right Guard and if he's not I think you're you're opening up a can of worms for disaster because especially when it comes to sadique Charles again Dylan Raiden I'm up for that I'm okay with that Sadi Charles he's shown me over a thousand some snaps that there's some issues with s Charles and uh if he was that great Washington wouldn't let him gone so or let him go so again what do I know but my point is to just throw brunskill to the side I can't believe people are doing that and they're still doing it and then the two final guys are just guys that aren't there sweat and Nick petite FR I think you can add dunk into that but again great article but ultimately Brun skill have the biggest complaint with and then jaquin Jackson we'll get to them in a minute so before you are warned I'd like to warn you of these guys of the 145 Club shout out to them and again a lot of these guys have been here since day one since we opened up memberships so again I just wanted toh spend a little time on tonight's show to give these guys the credit that they deserve and and I just to let them know how much I appreciate them on the network and I'm excited about this new thing that we're going to do uh to get the community even more opportunities to participate in the show um and we'll start with the 145 Club running some test runs and like I said I know a couple of these guys already reached out and are excited about it so hopefully that goes well and then we can bring it to
