okay these are these are people that they don't make the 53 Malik Willis right now leading the charge at 43% uh James Williams the stud linebacker out of Miami uh actually safety but they moved him the linebacker uh Matthew Jackson the interception machine uh obviously at safety and then Caleb Murphy pass rusher of those four which of those four would you be the most shocked with not being back with the Tennessee Titans um after roster cut comes down so tomorrow I'm just going toe and put it out for you I don't think tomorrow matters I really don't I think tomorrow is about Callahan reuniting with that offense and giving them a couple of Series against the Saints starters Titans right now are four and a half Point favorites that's up by one was uh three and a half and I think there is something to that because I don't think the Saints are going to throw anybody out there and I think Tennessee is going to work on some things they did not play uh last week if you remember the stars because they had the joint practices and they do need the work um right now the narrative um is Will Levis is going to be a stud and I hope you're right but right now I'm seeing a lot of push I'm seeing uh very a lot of inconsistencies I'm seeing ups and downs and I know some people have a problem with that and they're like oh he was four for five for 45 yards and he was fantastic he was great yeah I did like the stuff that I seen in the preseason game against 49ers but everybody that was two weeks ago okay when he was out there against the Seahawks it was not great he's like 108 out of 161 on the uh on I'm talking full frame 11 on 11 again you can get excited about seven on sevens that's great I'm not one that gets too excited about seven on sevens think they're valuable they're needed but today my friend uh will Levis excited to see what he's going to do week one but they need to get him out there and they need to get him with the offense the offensive line they need to gel because like I said the Bears are four and a half Point favorites for week one uh and Caleb Williams uh the rookie taking charge so again 53 man roster what to expect well the Titans will play tomorrow I don't think that game matters at all I think Callahan's going to push through it as fast as he can just pray there's no injuries and move move on if you guys could help out the channel by tightening up that like button hitting that subscribe button we' really appreciate it but when it comes to the 53 you're going to start to I'm we're already starting to see it trickle through with the Bengals and I did go to the Bengals by the way because I was quite interested with the three quarterbacks I know Logan Woodside is now trying to make his way onto the Bengals he may have already been released but the expectation was that the Bengals were want to keep two quarterbacks and the narrative now has changed right two weeks ago Malik Willis well actually you guys saw him live at Nissan Stadium for the practice I heard nothing but great things nothing but great things from Malik Willis and then the pre first preseason game okay Rudolph didn't play as best as he could kind of struggle a little bit but on the flip side Malik Willis he was all right great whatever but what we've heard from Malik Willis is we've seen some jumps we've seen some grows but isn't it ironic isn't ironic he struggles in a preseason game last week which he has no excuses but really has no wide receivers right he's got jaquin Jackson and I'm sorry Jaquan Jackson in the first half he played most of the game this isn't a knock on jaquin Jackson okay he had a I think most of you be like yeah I played really well but putting in perspective played the whole game had four catches for like 40 yards whole game right so he was primary one of the main options is my point first half one catch five yards Malik Willis didn't have a lot of options in that game right Kinsey dropped two balls I'm not one from Willis one from from uh Rudolph of course you know now that he broke his his pinky uh early in the game and both those drops I'm not saying anything but but we did call it on the on the was part we thought it was weird why he was doing this with it against his chest instead of catching the ball but again I think the idea behind this is Malik Willis terrible offensive line they showed in that game they were terrible Rudolph same thing like Rudolph struggled a little bit but then he at least took the team down for for a drive for a touchdown but everybody's out on Mal leag everybody good luck finding a 53 uh man roster prediction from any of the greats whether you go with Paul karski or um you know you a to sports or down the list everybody is going with two quarterbacks now and it's Malik Willis is not on the on on the on the cut okay and he's the one out again here's my point to that will Lis injury risk okay you saw in preseason game number one you saw last year okay I love his spirit I love the fact that he feels like he could run over dudes but you go back to Steve McNair right I know the documentary just came out on Netflix I've not seen it so please don't ruin it for me but I can tell you this Steve McNair was a warrior and I think will Le I'm not comparing will Levis to Steve McNair here but I'm trying to say like even the great Steve McNair got hurt you remember what happened to him against the Chiefs right with the sternum he didn't even want the rumor was he was going to retire and be done with football after week two so when you look at will Levis there's some opportunities everybody that he's running people over and he's got to learn that maybe go out of bounds maybe slide but preseason game number one he didn't do it and he took a shot and he's lucky so you put that in perspective you also put in perspective with the quarterbacks up and down for the most part maybe you can say more up for Rudolph but he wasn't going against the ones and then the other side with uh will Levis like I already gotten the inconsistencies and then let's not let's not kid ourself Malik Willis is an athlete he can throw it he can run it and he gives you all sorts of different skills so will he make the practice squad you got a figure with him coming out a couple years ago and he was pretty high on some boards apparently at some time and nobody actually took him and then they passed through the rounds and we got him in the third but you got to figure someone be willing to take a chance on Malik Willis and I don't think he's going to get through waivers like y lineman if you look at the statistic wise and I know we're running a different scheme and from the zone or whatever we're doing here and maybe he doesn't fit but you already saw what happened with sadique Charles right they crowned sadique Charles and OTAs and that guy couldn't even get out of training camp because he retired early and I'm still hoping he's okay Leon thanks for being a member says good afternoon I'm all halfway through watching the Steve McNair documentary and again watching the Chargers and the Cowboys game college football Florida State gets upset but there's a 12 game really really good uh Burks he's hurt and then he's not and he's hurt again and then he might be hurt and he's back so he's kind of inconsistent Phillips is hurt uh kiris Jackson had 10 reception all of Camp um Mason Kinsey and jquan Jackson both had 22 receptions in Camp so yeah I think he he deserves it um just as much as anybody does tier uh top tier thanks for being a member I appreciate it I did see that you know what's ironic about that though the best wide receiver I'm still going to say even over Derek Mason was AJ Brown and Derek Mason threw a lot of shade his way when he was in Tennessee so I do find that kind of comical that he's willing to for a rookie to go out and say hey look he's just like me he does all the things and jaquan's great right he's you don't see any issue with him he's not on social media Blas and he's buddies with Taj Spears at two l great things but when you look at AJ Brown like dude AJ Brown was a real deal you could PL a team around AJ Brown and and again Derek Mason when he was brought up I remember watching him out of Michigan State great returner that returned uh against Jacksonville in the playoffs amazing uh and then he got it cooking with wide receiver like he was legit but AJ Brown was even o like AJ Brown was Elite when he was with Tennessee like Elite uh he could put 10 guys on his back put him in touchdown but I do find that Taylor has been C coach because I believe that philosophy's come here with Callahan so let's dive into the 53 so we're going to go over every single group boom boom boom boom boom the slides fantastic put a lot of time into those and I also got my depth chart to my left so if I'm looking off screen to my I'm looking at the Titans depth chart I don't want to forget anybody there were some tough calls you guys make some great points one of the points that's going to happen is does Cedric gray go on IR they don't have to wait the full whatever they can do it within the 24 hours after these roster cuts and immediately put him I believe on the IR that would open up a roster spot but once he comes back then someone has to go we're just talking about who we think should make the 53 minus injuries if that makes sense we don't have a major injury unless you're calling Kyle Phillips a major injury with the hamstring but we're not here on this show so we're going to put that to decide would be the biggest surprise right now we got a tie James William the linebacker Malik Willis both at 29% which is quite interesting so we'll go position by position uh there's some there's going to be some times to say goodbye and then we'll rank the positions before we get out of here we're going to try to make this show quick as possible all right so we already got mistakes Galore we're going to go ahead and shut that down we're going to go all the way down here I kind of gave away some of my thunder but let's start with quarterback these are the three quarterbacks I do have making the roster again I'm not trying to gloat I'll probably be the only one wrong I don't got the the the the memo here obviously I'm going from the heart everybody everybody doesn't matter who you look at who you watch they're all not taking Malik Willis he is the one that they've pushed to the side and they said he cannot make the roster and they're only going to go with lvis and Rudolph where are they coming up with this did they just magically find something out out of the blue because they always T told us that these three were having really good camp and yada yada yty down the line and now all of a sudden Willis had not a good preseason game when do pre-season games against second and third teamers matter you know it's like Malik Willis again I kind of came out as this Last Stand and I and I know shout out where's my guy yeah Clowny your was your first comment and this was his opportunity to shine and he didn't do it I get it but he shined throughout Camp he had a pretty good camp if you ask most people if you at least even take the Jim Wyatt notes and readed them day after day TD does the same thing right and now a lot of the other guys tried to do it but whatever I'm only going to look at Wyatts and TDS for right now because I trust those guys and when I look at Wyatt's notes he does a really good job even giving you all the stats that you can possibly break to down with seven on seven he breaks down with interceptions Lev is eight Rudolph 2 Willis three but then he also breaks it down when they're 11 on 11 and when you look at these three individuals these three quarterbacks you know there's been some great times and there's not been some great times so to just put Willis on the side and act like oh he can't play now and he's done is it coming because Zack Taylor is probably only going to keep two quarterbacks is that where the connection's coming from do people just realize now or think they know everything now or they're just Malik sucks apparently and he didn't show up for the for the preseason game against the the TU the threes from the Seattle Seahawks even though Levis from all accounts I'm not trying to throw shade on Levis but Levis like apparently did pretty bad against the Seahawks on the joint practices yes Levis going against the ones but Levis also has a number one offensive line Levis also has number one wide receivers in tight ends can't say the same for even Rudolph or Willis but again I have all three I don't think it's going to be am I going to be shocked if will uh Willis gets cut I think I am you're going to save $1 million really roughly 228,000 dead capap okay like whatever but you know what's going to happen is Callahan's going to have to bring in his guy whoever that other guy is if they need him down the line and you're probably going to have to spend more than that so it's not like the savings is why he needs to go but again I think if it comes down to a special teams guy it comes down to Willis which one you can you get Willis on the practice squad I think in a perfect world then sure whatever I just don't think think so I told you this before I'll tell you it again I'll move on faster These Guys these these uh these Scouts and these GMS across the league like every single draft they're looking at who's available they're putting the research in this goes long before even draft season they're doing this throughout college and Malik Willis when he came out with Kenny picket and those guys uh Coral's already gone or whatever his name is we just faced a guy last week uh from Seattle Sam how that was in this draft uh group but there were some people I got to imagine were going to take a shot on Malik Willis at some point in the draft some people thought he'd go in the first round even remember that so I think someone would be willing to take a a chance on him and it's not like they're going to have to really pay the guy a lot so it's just something to keep an eye on okay there's a lot of teams out there that have struggling quarterbacks just go to the Pittsburgh Steelers right Pittsburgh Ste Steelers supposed to win the look at AR look at AR at the look how terrible he was the Bengals were mocking him on how bad he was at joint practice and for how bad he was during the preseason game so it is very real somebody could pick him up so just throwing that out there to him uh moving on running back running back's going to be debatable because some of you are like yeah Hasan make the team and majority of the people doing these things say h Haskins will make the team they rationale is because he's better on special teams I don't think he's better on special teams in the return game I just think it's like tackling those kind of things but can I tell you something Point Blank like seriously can can I tell you this like when I hear about oh my gosh like he was like one of the the leaders in tackles in his rookie year do do I care about that right now no it's a totally different coaching staff it's a totally different cold Anderson is totally different uh than what we had as our other special teams coach right and Craig Akerman so I'm giving Cole Anderson a benefit of the doubt and I've already seen some great things that he'll be able to mold some of these guys to be special teamers so we don't have to worry about H Haskins again fourth and one I need a yard H Haskins can't get it for me can Chesnut get it for me I think he can so I'm going with Chestnut because let me tell you up front Pard and Spears are going to play and they're going to play a lot and they might be on the field a lot even together one of them could go down I don't want to see H Haskins running the football this year okay I saw enough of him in preseason even preseason game number one go back and rewatch it's inside the 20 yard line it's the it's the possession where he falls a yard short he has a open to the right it's a touchdown it's Vision he I I thought he was quicker Vision not so much so again I don't want to see H Haskins again I know he's got some history there or whatever I'm not even putting that in perspective I'm just telling you I think cold Anderson can find some special team studs he doesn't need to rely on a running back from Michigan to get the job done Chestnut I know he's um he can be in the return game himself I would suspect at some point he'll even go back to returning kickoffs um even over Jin Jackson I think Jin will do the punt returning but again Chestnut I think makes the team tight end let's get into tight end there there's debates should they keep four I'm going to go to you guys here in the chat a minute should they keep four should they keep three I think when you look push come to shove I think um David Martin Robinson deserves to be here like I don't know what David Martin Robinson's going to do for the team long term but I think based off preseason based off of training camp he deserves to be here of course the vanic guy from Ohio State's going to be fine he's a blocker he'll be fine to to hang in there Wy I was hoping would take the number one role at some point during this season um and and really take that step that we've kind of heard about from Levis and some of the media throughout OTAs and even the beginning of training camp but right now out of these four the guy I'm probably going to have to count on the most even though he doesn't catch everything thrown his way is a cono a conell right now is pretty solid and going into this season uh these would be the four tight ends that I would probably keep um it is going to be very debatable some might only keep three um some might not keep Martin Robinson you know so that that becomes the the situation is this the group where they upgrade at some point is this the group where maybe they find someone um that gets cut or released as you guys mentioned and bring in so those are my first uh to tied in I want to get through one more uh I want to save this one uh let's just uh and let's go to your comments real quick and then I'll come back so again thanks for being here tighten up that like button we got almost 70 of you in the house um dis distin gentleman says yeah we're going to keep the third one or or keep H Haskins Yogi says all three quarterbacks on this roster will be gone next season and then Yogi says Levis will lead the league in interceptions keeping three they are going to try and sneak Robinson but he will get claimed I think you're right on that one I think he will too Juan what's up thanks so much for being here so let's get back into it so there we go we got uh like I said quarterback running back and tight end so that would be 36 and that's 10 guys of the 53 43 more guys on here comes wide receiver wide receiver is very debatable everybody you keep six you keep seven I mean you you can build cases who's that seventh guy again when you go through the media guys they're saying if they do keep seven they're going Carrick Jackson what's funny or ironic about that if if jaquin Jackson's your punt returner all right then are you g give a spot to Carris Jackson just because of the return game itself so you're going to have backup I I mean that doesn't usually happen for teams right like even last year when we had all the injuries they didn't keep Mason Kinsey as a backup punt returner in case Kyle Phillips went down when he always gets hurt or can't hold on to the football they just sent Mason back down to the practice squad so when you look at it from that angle you do have the hooker who can return kicks he did it in Iowa he could do it in the NFL he might not go very far with it or whatever might not be practicing every day does Eric gar make the team the for Corner does he make one of the last Corner spots he's another one he had a fumble against Miami but for the most part he did a good job returning kicks so are you going to give you when it's so important with special teams are you really going to give Carris Jackson that last spot and really what else can Carris Jackson do he can't really do anything at receiver he's shown that at camp and he can't he kick return and punt return so you're gonna have jaquin punt return and then Carris Jackson kick return that seems silly to me for a roster spot that's so valuable so that's why I would say I I don't agree with the media on that at all that they would keep him as the seventh Mason Kinsey his pinky is a concern everybody I mean it is I mean he's going to try to fight it out he's a tough guy he's a warrior but at the end of the day is he going to make the rosters your seventh guy I think out of all of them he would deserve that spot if they keep seven but here's who they're going to keep I think they keep six Hopkins obviously should be back week one we heard that's great news Ridley Boyd Boyd's going to be automatic this year he's going to be will Lev's best friend and I would suspect he might even lead the lead lead the team in targets um because he's going to be very very valuable or receptions I should say not targets I think Hopkins would probably win that one easy but Boyd will be Dependable on third down Burks is always hurt guys he's getting hurt again he's back he's he's hurt he's back whatever NWI very dependable he'll be around and then I'm just going to put my hands up with Juan Jackson you guys have bought into to the hype you're you're sold all I got is okay a couple preseason practices and a couple preseason games the one preseason game it was a return for 26 yards that's all I got in that game the second preseason game I got one catch for five yards in the first half when there was really no other options really uh when you think about it because he played the whole first half and then he played the whole second half and he had three receptions he had some good catches uh but he ended up with four receptions for 40 yards but I think where you guys are bought in if it's not the punt return for 26 yards I really think you're bought in because you saw what he did on seven on sevens versus Seahawks where he took a catch 70 yards on a slant I think he did it roughly twice so you're sold I'm just saying I'm still hesitant on it um but he's going to make the football team I think it's clear's day there's your six receivers if they keep seven I can only hope and pray it's Kinsey but with how things are going they keep seven I mean I don't really I mean Kyle Phillips maybe comes back and bees that seventh guy and they give him one more shot at it but at this time I don't see that happening offensive line going to get a lot of debatable questions that first five is definitely going to be your starting five leam gronsky uh cushenberry Raiden and then uh Nick P fer so I think we're all confident with that line I think they're going to be fine now backups are be very important again brunskill would not Shock me at all if he gets his starting spot back at Right Guard at some point Ru Che deserves to be here he's had a really good camp so I can't see him going but I am going to get really upset and the media again is pushing a guy that I cannot believe they're pushing if you want to buy him that's fine but it just literally if I had hair I'd pull it out because this is the stuff I cannot stand I've seen enough of it last year I gave him a pass because he was young he's back this year and I saw enough of him in the game the other day against the Seahawks it was the same old issue the same old crap and I'm not dealing with it anymore so again I I know we have the best offensive line coach in history so whatever he decides I'm for it I'm not being sarcastic but I cannot see them keeping jayen Duncan and the media everybody's got him keeping jayen Duncan because he's versatile and Bill Callahan said he was versatile I don't care we did the versatility last year with Vel and the year before that and the year before that okay I'm not worried about versatility anymore I want guys can plug them in they can play and they play their position and that's the way it is so I got Christian and I actually got Watson now Watson might be a shocker for some of you totally fine I think uh if we look at the roster of the depth chart I think a guy that still could fit in there everybody pretty much crowned him in offseason uh conditioning OTAs was the ajoku guy but he's really fallen off over the last couple uh weeks and he hardly even gets a lot of opportunities anymore and and practices in key spots so will they still keep him I would keep him over Duncan though because at least when I see him go out there I don't see him making the amount of mistakes as as Duncan for crying out loud so this is who I would have for mine and again you guys talked about sadique Charles who was not great at Washington who comes over for Washington because that's Callahan's guy well Watson was another guy that they brought over that Callahan thought he could do some things with so just pushing him aside like a lot of the media saying I'm gonna say keep him put him on the roster there we go special teams again I I I I really wanted uh the kicker uh I wanted two kickers because when you make a 59 yard kick and then you come back and win the game at 45 I think you should be there so the narvis dude out of NC State I was really high on him uh and I was really kind of disappointed at some people that were at practice every day never mentioned him well now I know why they didn't mention him because like he was like 31 of 38 at practice practice Fulk I think had a couple misses so again if you can get him on the practice squad I think that'd be great I think he's going to ruin that tomorrow night because I I really see him making a couple kicks or tomorrow afternoon against the Saints which are going to Blossom a stock but I'm telling you if he goes out there tomorrow and he kicks a 55 y right down the pike and makes another 40 or hack 250 yard field goals tomorrow I think you really got to think about keeping another kicker on the roster and then folk might end up going byebye now Jared Stillman says folk can't go anywhere because he's going to be making $3 million okay so you're just going to let the let would you let Stonehouse go if Kern was making $3 million yeah you would so why wouldn't this apply that's my point all right let's get to more of your comments as we'll break down the defense Eric says let's trade for Dak already Duncan is versatile he's bad at right tackle and left tackle so let's keep him on the roster baby oh Titan maximum that's awesome good point that is a really good point Levis is good though y all forgot this man was doing it no time in the pocket G says Duncan is uh practice squad player at best No One's Gonna claim him so you're fine you're fine you know what I mean you got Dennis Daly that just got released for crying out loud you can always bring him back and that's a kid I am kidding on that one Tom says Rudolph will have a new contract before the year's up Willis will be cut I still am uh I would not be shocked I'm not saying it's done and I'm not saying I don't trust will Levis but I would not be shocked if at some point whether it's injury or just whatever is going to happen that Rudolph will get an opportunity for the Tennessee Titans this year um again a lot of people want to downplay what he did in in training camp and in preseason whatever that's fine um and I know he didn't like set the world off fire but again some of you are willing to call uh will Levis Elite after a four or five for four 45 yards or was it 35 yards I think it was four or five for one of those two um so I'm just saying okay I'm just being real with you okay I'm not trying to again I I'm optimistic from will Lis but you can't deny he's been up and down a camp but again new offense new coach makes sense Malik is a waste of a pick should should have got a D D DL guy down lineman guy defensive lineman Yogi says if Hopkins Ridley and Boyd can't help Levis then you must go that's a really good point uh Goku says if tanah Hill broke his leg against Bengals 2021 playoffs you think Titans would win that game probably probably probably folk is too good at Short medium range but he's no good from long range so that's maybe why you should and teams have done it in the past you just keep two kickers I mean Heck if you're willing to keep if you're if you're willing to keep Caris Jackson okay hon this is honest take if you're willing to keep Carris Jackson as your seventh receiver that doesn't really do receiver but he can kick return and punt return but he would be a backup to Jan Jackson then why wouldn't you keep two kickers moving here so that would be uh special teams and offense now we go to the defense defense line defensive line I know you can go with a couple different options okay and I got those options for you uh for sure so when we're talking defensive line okay the McLendon dude I don't know I think he's hurt but whatever the ion dude I think he had a sack last game okay I guess you can go that direction as well but what I'm looking at right now is Coburn has been playing out of his mind out of his freaking mind sign him up I'm excited about him Joseph day gives you some depth sweat and Simmons I'm really excited to see what they do I know sweat's kind of cooled off here over the last couple weeks after I got behind him and that makes sense because anyone I get behind that's typically what happens but I'll keep it positive and then banan I mean or the bohana guy or whatever his name is got a cool ass name right uh but anyways he uh I think he's done enough to make the team I really do and plus having five defensive linemen rotate him in and out it gets physical the game wears down and you know it's very hot in the fall early on you know you got two home games after the Bears game it's supposed to be 110 real field this week in uh in around Chicago where I live so again it could be pretty hot at Soldier Field I know it's off the lake Lake Michigan but you're going to need to rotate these guys and you know injuries are a part of the game so those would be the five that I would keep um I'm not keeping McLendon or anything like that as far as the edge guys I wanted to go five I really did want to go five so when you look at some of the edge guys we got uh Shane Ray Shane Ray is might as well be Wy Ray okay Shane Ray is uh he's not ready I mean he's not he's not there they they've given him an opportunity he might show up and we've done both watch part he might show up once or twice those are preseason games I get it I haven't seen an overwhelming a lot of stuff from him at Camp I don't have many other when you look at everybody's 53 most people don't have Shane Ray I've only seen one that has him on it uh just one and there's a couple guys that they have off of it which kind of leads me to believe they don't really know what they're talking about but anyways Caleb Murphy Caleb Murphy is one that I was kind of oh can I get him on there can I not get him on there but yeah he would be one that I would you know would think but Harold has been such a stud Weaver not everybody has Weaver they're they're giving up on Weaver and that's fine I haven't really seen what Weaver Weaver through Mason Kinsey ground a lot of you were fired up about that uh early on in Camp so good for you but other than that I mean I really haven't heard a lot from Weaver and he's got a lot of playing time but I think you still got to continue down that road because I don't think any of these other guys are magically I mean Murphy can do some things I get it but this would be one where you know what Willis comes off you keep Murphy are you happy with that one I don't know but but Harold I am happy about keys not going on suspension so that's a big news and Landry stays healthy maybe you get Caleb Murphy back on the practice squad moving on to linebacker this one was another one that was quite tight for me um greay could go on IR some people say no but he could which would leave another spot open Otis Reese for me would be that guy um but when you look at Murray Gibbons cam Campbell I mean Campbell probably play the whole game tomorrow too he's played the whole game literally week one and week two of preseason he and he's made a lot of plays week one I mean he was phenomenal and he did pretty well last time Murray again um I'm not sold on Murray Jr like some of you are now um he has had a good camp he has been pretty consistent uh again what's it look like if he's not blitzing can he cover can he tackle those are obviously going to going to be question marks I already have the answer with covering he can't cover so they're going to have to dard Wilson's going to have to be creative with that but these would be my five guys and again I would not be shocked if gray would go on the IR I don't think there was any way they were're going to cut gray uh especially when with injury how I mean come on do you cut a guy do you cut a a draft pick that you're pretty high on just because they're hurt and can't be out there right away no look at Caleb Farley if that was the case Caleb Farley wouldn't be even have an opportunity right now but that's just not how it is and I know he's a first round pick and it's a little bit different from a fourth round pick or whatever that gray was but still that that's comical so people saying that that's just flat out ridiculous but again when I'm looking at the receiver group or I'm sorry the receiver the linebacker group gford would be another one I could see uh with his special teams because he is very important some people would have gford on theirs Williams honestly like at first I didn't have him I I had to talk myself into Williams and it's more of the could be a big play guy brings a whole new Dynamic to the linebacker group with the skills that he has and and he has that you know that safety presence and now you move him up the linebacker so that's why ultimately I'm gonna I'm gonna go ahead and throw some cards down for uh James Williams out of Miami so a couple spots left so we got cornerbacks do you know who I don't have like most of the media has again gosh Trey Avery do I do I need do you need to see any more of Trey Avery you know I I presented the question on X and I didn't get a lot of comments on it and that's totally understandable but what what if hypothetically Seattle does Seattle have a Trey Avery I'm sure they do and what happens if Trey Avery of the Seahawks whoever that would have been was guarding jaquin Jackson both times he took those Slants to the house because Trey Avery to be honest was guarding jaquin Jackson at some point camp and there was a lot of times we didn't hear much about jaquin at all he did have 22 receptions with Kinsey uh those two had a lot of opportunities at camp and again jaquan's taken some steps and this isn't more shade on jquan Jackson right but it does present the question we're buying all the hype because of who we're beating this isn't new Greg Maan I call him the Greg Maan 2.0 baby like anybody destroying Trey Avery at Camp doesn't necessarily destroy people in real life we've learned that the hard way with other teams when going up against Greg Maan in the past so again I do I'm not put him on my 53 because I already seen enough of Trey Aver guy can't play okay couldn't play last year can't play this year he's not I'm not wasting my time but there are a lot of media that made her 53 that still put him in there I'm willing to give Judy L A shot I am willing to put gar on there because you know what Trey Avery can't do that GAR can do gar can at least return punts so if Jin gets hurt okay he did have some injury concerns at to Lan but he gets hurt then your only options are hooker or gar and no offense to Hooker I want him to play safety I he's injury-prone okay he is injury-prone he always gets hurt so why would you make him return punts that that's the dumbest thing ever right that's the dumbest thing ever so you're not doing that so gar kind of gives you a little versatility and he can still do some things at corner and then finally safeties I'm really I'm really on the fence with Jackson Matthew Jackson deserves it he's had a great Camp he's picked off all three quarterbacks and for the most part like you hear his name he does great things and special teams apparently you need those special teams guy if you're going to get rid of H Haskins or some of these other guys like I did so I don't really view Jackson as like a full-time safety I kind of just have him on the team to be like another staple in my special teams that colt Anderson can count on Adams and Diggs they may get injured I don't know anybody can get injured but the point is hooker does get hurt he literally gets hurt every year and and I love hooker out of Iowa I I'm still so grateful we have him on our football team um but again molden I I think he's still suspect I'm not sure how that's going to work out fully Adams and Diggs will provide a nice solid to the defense but when it comes to Hooker you want to make sure that he's healthy uh so let's get to some more your comments we'll say our goodbyes gosh all he's done for special teams fine whatever I'm telling you C Anderson can find a replacement for him if I need a yard H Haskins is not the guy I'm calling so why is he on the team and Trey Avery I mean should we say anything more thanks for what you've done uh you know you really were what probably shouldn't even made the team and you had a decent preseason a year ago or whatever it was and you hung around but unfortunately Trey Avery uh it's time to go through the waiver wire whatever it is and see if you get claimed you probably won't and you'll be back on the practice squad and again Jaylen Duncan he doesn't he doesn't get to make the list unfortunately but yep we we hope he does well if you're going to rank the position groups we're not going to rank them like one through whatever but I would say going through the groups again we could go back real quick and and these are my 53 before we leave again we'll just kind of go back in reverse order are my safeties I think we got a pretty good safety group um but I would say our cornerbacks are very solid I would give the cornerback crew a number one in the rankings for sure uh linebacker core is going to be very young um and inexperienced as far as production um that's just what it is you know we got a rookie in Gray and Williams you got Campbell who hasn't really played a whole lot Gibbons he is what he is right he's he's solid and then Murray you're hoping he can bounce back uh the former first round pick then you got your Edge guys I think we got a pretty salid Edge crew Weaver I'm not completely sold on but I still think the Titans will give him one more opportunity Harold I love what I see with him and of course you guys know how much I love Landry then we move on defensive line Simmons and sweat my goodness and then if you add Coburn to the mix and he keeps it up that defensive Line's pretty solid special teams I think narison deserves some consideration if he goes out and does some more against the Saints tomorrow I really do I understand he was 31 for 38 during training camp but he's also a guy that maybe he was a little nervous in the beginning I mean sweat was nervous in week one in preseason we gave him a pass but we're not willing to give narvis a pass who just hit a 59 Y and won it for 45 and then we move on with the offensive line again offensive line out of one out of 10 I mean last year was probably like a freaking two this year I mean I think right now is a solid six and you're hoping they'll get better into the seven and eight range uh then you move on to wide receiver they're probably only going to keep six I think that we we said that like in the first week of training or not train OTAs they were we going to keep six and and then I think they really will shout out to NWI still sticking around man still sticking nobody else wants them but he's still sticking around and he's doing what he needs to do for the Titans tight end group I think we can up great here a little bit um if you're not going to get that from Wy if wy's the guy and Wy is what he's supposed to be advertised then he needs to stay and or not stay but you know my point you don't need to bring anybody in Wy and a cono should be good and then running backs again Pard and Spears are going to see all the all the action but they're both going to play so that means they're going to play a lot one of them could get hurt could get a hamstring could get a little bit where they miss a game or two Chestnut I I would feel very comfortable with him in short yardage and picking up a
