and he's taken down but able to slip across the 35 that's a pick up of 11 and a first down on their first offensive play that's the first time he's called his own number but he's got to be overjoyed with the results he wasn't just going to settle for a modest game to me he was determined to come through with a big message to a defense that slept on him in the pocket [Applause] line of scrimmage the 37 on First and 10 love now throwing over the middle and it's incomplete had an open man that time but end up putting a little too much heat on it don't you think partner absolutely just needed a touch more air under it instead he fired an absolute bullet here's second and 10 [Applause] here's love he has it complete to Christian Watson and he slips up past the 45 before being tackled 11 yd and a Green Bay Packer first down they sure put the coverage guys in a stress on that one they thought he were going deep ends up curling inside for a nice chunk of yardage [Applause] now the man from utap this is Aaron Jones and he Maneuvers up the middle for three and it's second down that's just a pile of bodies there and that's when you kind of find out who's a tough guy right who can stand up and make a play it was only a three yd run but for both sides they had to walk away from that fi like okay I can stand up when the going gets tough in here they'll come up second and seven [Applause] love looking to throw it a throw on the run but that's going to be incomplete not only did he have a chance to scan the field there it felt like he had a chance to scan it twice the protection was that good unfortunately for him the coverage down field equally good they head to the line facing a third and seven following the incompletion on second down to pass here's Jordan love work in the middle of the field and he's got a man complete and he has another first down as they'll get the ball down to the Eagles 35 the drive stays intact with a pick up of 13 solid opening drive so far Charles they moved this football into field goal range but you know that they want to cap this off with six and not three absolutely it's one of the better coaches in the league always tells me on offense I want throw body blows all game long finish it with uppercuts well here are the body blows right now he's hoping one uppercut will take care of the end of this [Applause] drive they'll send Reed in motion left and now a fake on the Jet Sweep and a give to Jones and he is met in his tracks behind the line of scrimmage two yds the loss second and 12 as a linebacker you're taught to stay just slightly behind the ball carrier just in case takes a cut back but when you find the Gap shoot it and he found it all right took it straight into the back field and made the tackle for a loss a small bit of adversity here on what's been a strong drive as they come up second and [Applause] 12 again it's Jones and a lot of Talent on this Eagle defense and you've seen it on these last two plays both losses officially it will go as a one yd loss and that's going to lead to a third down I'm getting the sense that Fletcher Cox is making offensive linemen want to take the week off when they have to play against him regular routine for him isn't it it really is that play there that's him all day long good luck trying to block him and keep him from disrupting your offense so first and second down went the wrong direction they'll try to do better here on third and 13 now love oh he tries to force it in and it's intercepted Darius Slay with a pick and Eagles are going to take over once again with a football at their own 20 yd line offensively a far from ideal start there with a pick on the opening drive yeah not exactly what they were looking for we know that that's pretty obvious the beauty though is is happening early if they don't panic they don't compound this problem they've got a long way to go and a chance to get back in it Philly's offense getting ready and jayen Herz ready to lead them the second round pick who started his career Care at Alabama then finish with an electric senior season in Oklahoma tremendous production in college at two different universities and this is a guy who was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy still much more of a runner than a thrower but has plenty of arm and is capable of making the big throws down field and don't underestimate his ability to think the game remember he's the son of a coach Herz and the Eagles come up here first and 10 at their own 20 yd line they'll start on the ground it's Rashad Penny and he'll manage to pick up about four it's second down nice chunk of yards on first down it really opens up your options for what you want to do on second you go right back to him and hope he explodes or sucker the defense in before throwing over the top they'll come up second and six now from the 24 Penny up the middle three yds is half of what they needed now can they get the other three here on third down some of the most unselfish players on any football team defensive tackles because we asked them to just eat up blocks allow other people to make tackles but when he can make a play himself as we just saw there that's a big day they'll come up now third and three they'll try and run the option to pick it up and he gets it to the 34 good enough for the first call it a gain of seven and it gets him a new set of downs and this is one of those plays that if you can use it to keep the chains moving it's a good play and not only that it tends to Tamp down the pass rushers because they have to recognize this play and stay at home the quarterback uses it well read option keeps it and picks up a first down with some nice running from the 34 now here's first and 10 inside hand off Penny and he'll Rumble for about five up close to the 40 if you're a coach you'll absolutely take that run every time on first down because it really sets you up to go a number of directions here on second now second and five hers his short throw caught by Gard that was an okay hook up there with his tight end but unfortunately they didn't get the kind of yards they had hoped for that's going to bring up third [Applause] down third and three her sets up to throw it now a quick throw there but it's going to be incomplete that is certainly one way toate a quarter one those extra defend on the field dime lots of speed no space to fit in the football [Applause] here's Aaron sepos out now to punt on fourth [Applause] down we'll call that a punt of 38 yds officially and it'll be Packer football here first down and 10 Packers offense here coming back out for their second Drive they were intercepted the first time they had the football but now they get it back and it's still z00 and because of that you know what the thought process is interception what interception it didn't really happen because they gave up no points so go back on the attack go back and run the offense you believe will be successful find your Playmakers and give them the football they'll start the drive with a carry by Jones and this one goes nowhere losing yardage back at the 22 he'll lose a yard there and it's second and 11 well that was not what you would call straight line Pursuit for a middle linebacker to make this play he's got to work his way through the Clutter to get to the ball car on the outside and he does exactly that that's called avoiding the trash [Applause] a loss of a yard there to start out that leads to a second and 11 they'll go again to Jones and he can muster only a couple here to the 24 I do know from experience that when you slow down someone's running game you're now doing the dictating on defense and guess what now you're getting ready to te off on quarterback cuz they have to throw it all the time but you still have to be alert for the draws and other plays of that nature to make sure you don't get [Applause] hurt they'll come up now third and [Applause] nine to throw now here's love he's going to launch this deep for Watson oh he had a man running free but he overshot him and it's incomplete oh man that is just a flat Miss he's in the pocket the protection holds up he sees his man come free but maybe he just gets a little excited about the prospect of a long touchdown so on fourth down on is the punter Pat O'Donnell to kick it away Britain cubby deep for Philadelphia that'll be a 41 yd punt just one ydd on the return and the Eagles will have it taking over first and 10 so back onto the field here come the Eagles for their second Drive last series form a little disappointing forced a punt and now they'll try to do better here and Come Away with some points as they begin this drive first and 10 from the 32 now here's first and 10 they begin with a run by penny found a little room there as he's up to about the 37 Rashad Gary the man to bring him down a quick burst there and he nicely bit off a pretty decent gain here's second and five now from the 37 here's Herz to throw and that'll be incomplete took a pretty good shot as he tried to pull that one in couldn't hang on third down it's another zone defense it looks like it's open for possibilities but they did a nice job patrolling the middle of the field and forcing an in they come up now third and five following the incomplete pass throwing his hers that is caught and he'll be taken down but he does have first down yardage got what they needed there the drive continues with a nyd pickup this has to go down as one of the simpler routes in the Playbook but oh so effective nice completion there keeps the sticks moving clock rolling as we hit the Midway point of this first quarter penny a first down carry Kenny Clark the Big D tackle there to make the stop you've got to be impressed by that defensive front on reps like those they were not being moved off the line kept their shoulders Square gave their teammates time to fight to the ball and limit that gain from the 48 yd line here's second down and eight they'll look to throw here airing it out deep for Smith and that will be incomplete try to dial up the long way out there but it'll be third down well the Gap man coverage on the outside and my SC rep on these DBS tells me that they love to take matters in their own hands they want man coverage not Zone and there was good coverage there that forc the incompletion on third down he'll drop to throw and that is incomplete oh he had a Defender right there with him to force that to the ground and fourth down now coming up that's exactly what defenses talk about You' got to find ways to get off the field when you can especially on third down and third down defense going to be vital in this game able to knock that one away and force a fourth down here and zos on to punt as he'll get this one away [Applause] now he'll get off a fairly short kick here as this is toward the sideline and the punt over the side in the air and the spot will be inside the 35 the Green Bay offense now about ready to take possession here and partner I know so far we're still in the first half but you love this game as a defensive guy zero to zero we'll see if the offense can get going on this drive well you know how they talk about music to your ears how about what it does for your eyes when you watch something like this right where these teams are locked in and going at it no points going up on the scoreboard I'm loving it you're exactly right well switch over though to an offensive mindset for a moment what do they need to do here to get on track and get some points I think a couple of ways number one you pull out maybe they haven't seen before coaches always talk about UNS scouted looks maybe you give him something that they haven't seen on tape and now you shock them that way the second run your basic Playbook but run it so well that you give your skill position guys a chance to make big plays individually second and [Applause] 10 love throwing left side and Watson has it four yds the gain and it'll bring up a third down Ah that's tough to play zone defense when they can just curl up right there in front of you yeah I absolutely will we we talk about finding the soft spot defensively how do you make sure they don't find the soft spot like they did there tough to do because what they normally will do is run routes that'll pull you out of that spot they want to get into that's what we call not taking the cheese right don't go for the mouse strap that's hard to do cuz when you see a guy cutting that in that direction you to first time that they called his number tonight and it gets him a first down we' seen quite a bit of the short passing game here early on first quarter haven't we we have and I think it works a couple of ways for for this team because number one you throw the short game until they stop it and if they're not going to stop you keep throwing it and occasionally you'll break a tackle and turn into a bigger gain also if they start to creep up start to press your receivers now you go over the top take it deep and now you get some of those big shots down field [Applause] first down going to the air with love that's taken in by Watson and taking it across Midfield and inside the 45 11 yds and a Green Bay Packer first down well that certainly has to feel good it's not all the time that the play caller should get all the credit sometimes I think in the Huddle the quarterback just says hey who's going to make a play for me I just need something right here and the end result there nice first down down drive keeps moving a throw over the middle taken in I know sometimes we can get forward when we watch him make catches as we just saw him do there because he really looks like a wide receiver the way he goes about his business yeah 230 240 range yeah not not super huge maybe not counted on to be that inline point of attack blocker that we used to have in the good old days but you can Flex him out you can run wide receiver routes with him you can make him a primary Target and that's how he'll shred a [Applause] defense options Galore here second and a few [Applause] inches on the counter here's Jones and he works it to the 30 yd line here right at the 30 they'll get three as the drive continues it's a first down I think they like this drive a little bit better there partner running game helping out picking up some of the slack cuz remember last Drive they went three and half so first and 10 now from the [Applause] 30 throwing love this is caught it's Christian Watson and they move this all the way down to the nine a good pick up there 21 yds you know I'm going to lean towards a Defender right you know I'm going to do that I know that's a tough situation for him as I see it but the truth of the matter is that ball was not streaking towards him that a little arc on it he's got to find a way to get his head around to make the play on the [Applause] football so first and goal from the 9yd [Applause] line back to throw love and he takes a shot on the release as this will be incomplete the good signal callers would never go back in the Huddle and play the blame game because they those guys to protect him but on that last one his offensive line they lost their leverage very quickly and that's why they were able to get to him and hit him as he tried to throw the football and force an incompletion another shot from the nine on second and goal off the play fake love and he's got it it's caught for a Packers touchdown Josiah de a 9yd touchdown grab and the Packers will claim the early lead as they're on the board first here tonight this is why a lot of play calls Love play action in this spot you just want to freeze the linebackers just for a second then you got a chance to get a quick pass into your tight end right behind them for a touchdown and now of course all scoring plays are reviewed and I think they're going to take an extra long look at this one they're taking a peek at whether or not those feet were in bounds and obviously call here in the end zone and not just the feet how about the hands how is the ball possessed while the feet are hopefully getting down in bounds that's what they're trying to look at to see if it all comes [Applause] together so they called it a touchdown originally and this will stay a touchdown after the video review so they had it right Anders Carlson now for the point after and it's good to make it seven nothing Packers that time a nine playay drive and the result a Green Bay score [Applause] Carlson back out there now to send this one away taken at about the one and it's a pretty good return here as he'll get this up to the [Applause] 29 Philadelphia getting set to take the field they've had it twice they punted twice not the start they were hoping for not at all and let's face it every facility we visit everyone talks about converting on third down how big that is in this situation they had to punt it away twice so they're furiously going over things on the sidelines what do we need to do to pick up a first down and change our momental hers and the Eagles come up here first and 10 just shy of the 30 they'll start this drive out on the ground and they get him down but not before he takes it across the 40 yd line give him 13 yds on the opening play of the drive and also give him a first down well they're making an effort to get the ground game going tonight so far it's working I like what we're seeing from the offensive line they seem to have the leverage going and they're controlling things and reestablishing the line of scrimmage moving that defensive front backwards but also like what the runner given us too it appears that he's been waiting all day long to get out here and take off they keep it with Penny on first down and some Nifty running here as he'll take this across Midfield and down to the 47 44 yds now on the ground on just seven carries well they came into this game saying it was important that they set the tone and show that they can run the football I believe that they've done that here in the first [Applause] quarter back to back good plays have them on the move on first down on the option left it's hers and they nearly sprung him that time as he takes this all the way down to the 37 they get 10 more there and I believe that'll be enough for another first down it will it looked like almost some miscommunication defensively because once he decided to keep it he had pretty smooth sailing yeah it became a question of wait a minute who's got the quarterback and when you talk about miscommunication it's supposed to be called assignment football on the defensive side of the ball but the assignment gets mixed up that's the end result herd's going to keep it again a good gain of nine before he's brought down at the 28 a little do-it-yourself run right there and a nice game and I like that he knew that that was about all he was going to get so he did a nice job of protecting himself took care care of the football took what the defense gave him if they continue to allow him to do that they'll find their way taking what they can all the way to the end zone they go playaction with Herz and he can't find anywhere to go with it and he goes down DeAndre Campbell flies in to blow that play up and this is a quarterback who's already had success on the ground of this first half but this time they're able him him in and it's always different when you rush a mobile quarterback as opposed to a guy you know will be right back in the pocket in this case you got to make sure the inside pressure and the outside pressure match and maybe even a second wave to make sure if he squirts free you've got someone to tackle it so third down now they need the 27 yd line for a first from the gun it's hers and he slides and covers up at the end as he's going to be able to pick up decent yardage give him eight yards that time on the scramble and now fourth down that looked great when he first took off because in my mind there was room to run and he had the marker in his sight but I certainly didn't expect him to close so quickly and neither did he they got to him just in time and now that forced him to make a decision with this fourth down call giving to the big tight end on Fourth and he gets the first down here as he's taken down at the 24 I love those plays fourth and one that's who wants it more this time the offense yeah there's a lot of hooting and hollering in there right a lot of contact and a lot of collisions as they try and find some space who's going to drop their hips gain leverage and move the other side backwards we saw it there for the offense getting it done so this offense able to convert on Fourth and now a fresh set of downs here first and 10 now her to get this to his running back Swift and that's good for a gain of six and that will bring up second [Applause] down after one seven nothing on EA Sports start of the second quarter and it's the Eagles in possession as they' with a second and four coming [Applause] [Music] up they will run straight ahead with Swift and they'll get him down right around the 16 they got half of what he needed there two yards and it'll bring up third and two more that's all about doing the Dirty Work right there defensively second and short yardage that's all about plugging those gaps not giving a running back a crease to run through and that's a nice job to hold him just a couple and force a third down on Third and short they'll try and pick it up through the air he's got his Target that's complete and the Eagles are going to have first and goal coming up as they're able to convert there on Third and two I like the fact that they didn't over complicate things on that call third and two just run the quick little hitch which they did Ball's out of quarterback's hands and yes indeed they pick up the first [Applause] down 18 18 throwing from the gun it's Herz touchdown Eagles jayen Herz On Target to Dallas gard and the Eagles are an extra point away now from tying this ball game for good reason quarterbacks want to get the ball to the perimeter to their wide receivers for big plays but in this situation it felt like based on coverage he knew that he wanted his tight end to have the football and for good reason on for the extra point Jake Elliot it's up and good and we're tied at seven here in quarter number two so that one along 11pl drive and the drive was all finished off on the touchdown catch by Dallas Gard so all even at seven now as they kick it away taken at the goal line and he'll be stopped up at the 25 the Green Bay offense ready to take over so both of these teams Charles coming off touchdowns now but this offense they just had to stand on the sideline watch their opponent offer a really impressive drive to reach the end zone yeah and I think you're not telling yourself the truth if you don't think there's some one-upsmanship going on right now because they just had their touchdown answered by a drive of double digit plays that also found the end zone now they want to do something even more impressive to answer that one they'll start out on the ground with Jones that's to about the 28 second down coming up time for them to be good teammates right here what I mean by that is possess the ball for a little while get at least two first downs give their defense a chance to settle down a little bit after they give up a touchdown here's second and seven now from the 20 [Applause] looking to throw love he's got the hook up with DOs and just three yards on the catch there he couldn't get away and now we've got a third down and three [Music] we coming up here looking for three yards to pick up the first love with it here third and short yardage able to find the open man that's complete and he's going to have a Packers first down as they're able to get the third down would it be safe to say that as precise as routes are supposed to be run in the NFL maybe they're not quite as precise in college ball that's accurate yeah and I think we saw a college route in the NFL there just find the soft spot find The Dead Zone and find the first down and that's what he just did [Applause] on First and 10 love out of the back field this is Aaron Jones call it a gain of six on the play and that's going to bring up second down just about every quarterback is trained to really look down field first before you come back and make a nice safe throw and in this case that's exactly what he did found his running back let him create some space and it turned out to be a nice play for the offense second down and four [Applause] love going to give this one to Jones down the numbers there he goes and he's going to get this all the way down inside the 35 that bur good for 20 and a first down good strong explosive run this started inside which means you've got to control those defensive linemen the defensive tackles the nose guards those guys have to be controlled how about the offensive line the job they just did yeah key that a gap usually on those runs right that's where it all starts because everyone wants to kind of control that area it disrupts things from the defensive side and the offensive side as we just saw it opens up possibilities love now to pass on first down a quick throw there is incomplete this looks like they stopped some fighting them on this series because it seemed like things were headed for the Red Zone this defense gets two more stops they can keep them out of that area now a second and [Applause] 10 back to throw love oh he rifles one and that's going to be intercepted Darius Slay with a pick and the Eagles are going to take over here at their own 22 yd line and that's now the second time he's picked off a pass here in the first half alone again another great read defensively and you just see him get in the right position to make the to play and get his guys the football back here's the Philadelphia offensive unit now as they head out to take over possession this drive here beginning probably with a pair of motivated groups remember the offense scored a touchdown their last time out looking to repeat that in Charles's defense they were very frustrated after giving up six the last time on the field and frankly it's just a batt of Wills in a lot of ways because you know they're both motivated they both game planned for this drive and they both have specific outcomes in mind to me it just comes down to who can execute better and which side can step up and assert its will over the other they'll start with the option and he'll wind up losing yardage here back at the 21 yd line officially it's a one yd loss that's going to bring up second and 11 well he's had success running the football in this one and that's undeniable but that time the defense was on to it and partner I think the more you see a play like this the more they're able to diagnose it quicker and easier for them to defend it I think to dress it up a little bit and show maybe some different formations and [Applause] looks after the loss to start out here's second and 11 from the gun a give to Penny fights forward for only about a yard the 21 just not a whole lot of room to operate there on that carry no not at all they did a really nice job staying in their proper places and not allowing any lanes to open up up the offense on third down tonight they've hit it 50% three of six to this point this is third and 11 they'll set up to throw this short throw caught by gard and they're able to get this one across the 35 it's a gain of 16 and an eagle first down and that's well executed there on third down and I love the confidence that they had to let their tight end try and find some space in the middle of the field right in their quarterback line of vision and QBs love to make that easy throw and they hooked up there for a first down so here's a first and 10 at the 38 now her's going to keep it running left escapes the defender and he'll have it past Midfield almost to the before being taken down an excellent run of 22 yds on the keeper and also a first down pretty nice play here they go read option read the defensive end and when he collaps down inside how about the quarterback pulling it keeping it and not only getting to the second level but picking up some really nice yardage very very well read so into Packer territory now here's first and 10 at the [Music] 41 they'll run with Penny here out of the shotgun and this winds up a pick up of two maybe two and a half to about the 39 Oh that's a real nice job there by the defensive front they just engaged and held their ground but how about the guy who made the play we often talk about whether they take a good first step or not many times you just don't take any step just get your feet moving get your body going and then once he made the read he was able will make the play and he's going to get this inside the 30 hers dangerous when he runs that football he's got a first partner there's a downside to everything in the danger of man coverage is if you're locking down your target you often turn your back to the quarterback and you don't see him sometimes you open up a big Lane for him to hit you for big yardage and that was an astute play by him to scramble out see that lane and burn them for a first down [Applause] down inside the 20 and all the way down to the 17 yd line 10 more there and another first down a lot of tight just use their size and their strength try to occupy some space and kind of body people away and catch the football but not this guy he's a refined route Runner makes me wonder if he took some dance classes in his background with his footwork they'll throw on first down with hers and that one off the mark behind him incomplete that's certainly appeared to be a play call where they were just trying to make second down second and short I they coverage was off a little bit more than it was nice job there pressing up on it and forcing the incompletion after the incomplete pass here now is second and 10 back to throw here it's caught Smith four yds the gain and it'll bring up a third down oh it's time to give more credit there to the defense they played that very well because it was a drag route and he ran a little shallower than normal as he worked straight across the field he was hoping he get lost behind the defensive line but once he made the catch nowhere to turn up field and gain any yardage they'll stick with the passing game as he looks to throw they set up the screen to Penny and they're able to stop him short on Third and six they'll only pick up four good reactions there defensively that screen was a little slow and developing and they shut that one down with little gain so Herz is off and on comes Jake Elliot for the eagle field goal from the right hash here an easy one the kick by Elliot is good and they take the lead here now at 10 to S well they got the turnover and were able to drive it down Charles but ultimately in the end the defense holds up and they only Come Away with the three points yeah they gave up a lot of ground but when they had to they settled in and prevented the interception from leading to six points cuz you never want to see turnovers turn any type of points against you but better to give up three than six after the field goal here's Elliot to kick it away Nixon elects not to return it and this comes out to the 25 and Green Bay getting ready to go as they take the field and two picks thrown here in this first half alone we'll see how that affects him wait to see where his confidence is because the great ones they'll throw four or five picks and while it'll hurt their team it won't hurt their confidence they'll think something was just wrong with the ball or the wind or something was funny it's never about them that's how they stay so into the moment and into the game loving the Packers now with a first and 10 at their 25 yd line trying to shake off the interception he'll look to throw throw over the middle caught by D and that's good for pick up of 10 yds and they'll be left with a second and about a foot obviously this has not been a banner game throwing the football so what you got to do you got to kind of down Focus don't you think find the tight end take some easier completions interception last drive there he hits the reliable [Applause] [Music] Target on second down it's Jones and he'll be brought down shy of the 40 at the 38 yd line four yds the pickup down exactly what they needed right there because they needed to use the ground game to take some pressure off cuz the quarterback's been struggling a little [Music] bit so here's a first and 10 at the [Applause] 38 and they'll keep on the ground with Jones and he's going to be stacked up right at the line of scrimmage nothing there for him second down as usual the Hallmark of a good run defense linebackers making plays near the line of scrimmage absolutely nowhere to run there officially nothing on that last run they'll try again second and [Applause] 10 love with a give to Dylan and that one goes for about six as he's taken down just shy of the 45 and there we saw one of the downsides of blitzing during a run down because sometimes you get out of your gaps you don't fit the Run quite as well because you're headed towards the ball carrier with abandon in search of four yds here to pick up the first down love from the gun open man he's got Reed and he has another first down as they'll get the ball down to the Eagles 36 his first catch and it's a pretty big one they get the conversion on third down well this is where reading defenses at practice time comes into play got to know what you're running versus Zone versus man and how to run the proper route and they just executed that one pretty [Applause] well so from Philadelphia territory now here's a first and 10 at the [Applause] 36 operating from the gun love he finds his man complete that's re and he's going to get this down near the 20 yd line GI backto back catches now that one for 16 and another first down well the obviously Red Man covers their partner and he got down field broke down the defender made him what mean by that yeah he made him think he was going to run a different route probably thought he was going to take it up field they curls back inside for the completion here we go now a first down carry by Jones and he can only manage to get a couple second and eight coming up defensively we always know that he is tough in run support and I think the way that he gets there is he understands what an offense is going to do before the ball's even snapped a great job of scouting prior to the game then reading reacting and taking the right path to the ball carrier here second down low and that is incomplete a lot of force bearing down on him there he could not hang on it's third down that sure looked like a nice call by the defense and they very cohesive in their coverage as soon as he cut inside they broke on the football and met him as the ball got there and forced the [Applause] incompletion out of the Huddle now for play number nine on this drive this is is third down and eight looking to throw love he'll find his tight end here deua he'll wind up getting just a yard and that's going to make it fourth down I like the thought process I like the design but I think he may have waited a little too long to spot his man because if you're going to run that drag route you've got to put it on him and let him turn up field instead he waits until his receivers too close to the sideline and they don't get the yards after the catch so off goes love on is Carlson for the Packer field goal from the left hatch this from 34 and his kick is indeed good and that will KN us up at 10 so no problems at all on that one and you know there's virtually no win this is a kicker dream here tonight it absolutely is isn't it so to me with no wind it should be a pass dream as well right but in this case the defense held out they had to force the field goal all level now at 10 AP piece as the kicks away and makes it across the 20 as his guys will set up shop at the 23 yd line and out now come the Eagles their Drive last time it stalled out they were forced to take the short field goal and the key phrase you nailed it forced to because you know coaches look at these short field goals as a last resort right to them that's not how drives are supposed to end you're supposed to put six on the board that's a consolation prize like going to the county fair you don't get the big stuffed animal on that one do you no you don't go top shelf bottom shelf material Herz and the Eagles come up here first and 10 at their own 23 now they'll fake the Jet Sweep here and throw off play action and he'll be taken down but not before they reach the 50 big yardage there on the scramble it gets him a first down I am willing to bet that he got a monster grin on his face when he saw what was happening man covers were so committed to denying a big throw that it pulled attention away from him and he had an easy Lane to hit and hit it he did from the Midfield strike they'll look to throw open man is G the tight end be a gain of five and that'll bring up second down I know the halim's approaching but I don't think he's going to want to take a break that's his fifth catch yeah they've really been targeting the tight end second and five running left it's Penny and he'll get it inside the 40 to the 39 54 yds rushing for him now on what was his 10th carry of the ball game yeah once more running excellent blocking at the point of attack they've got a nice little Drive Brewing right [Applause] here so from the 39 now they'll come up on a first and 10 now Herz on the option right and he is going to lose yardage here he'll lose a yard there and it's second and 11 well he had success earlier in the drive keeping it himself not here though and sometimes when you have that kind success you can fall in love with the option a little bit too much and not give the defense credit for making adjustments themselves and that play starts to lose its [Applause] Effectiveness so after the loss of a yard they'll look to push forward here on second down and 11 now they'll throw here out of the gun he get get this out wide to Penny he's going to go out of bounds but he takes this one down just shy of the 20 19 yds the pick up there move the chains we can talk all we want about football being a game of strength and Braun it's also a game of mismatches and they were trying to create one there getting it to their back out of the back field to make a bigger play as we often say get it to him in space let him use his leg Yeah if he can get a match up against a linebacker maybe a defensive end dropping out in a Zone Blitz he's going to win that battle just about every time all tied up at 10 two minutes left in the first [Applause] half on first and 10 it's Herz they'll try and set up the screen to Swift a nice little screen they get six on first down good call there on first down and Brandon I'm getting better over the years and not screaming out screen screen screen with my defensive trading they want to keep those pass rushers honest and they did so there and they wind up picking up positive yardage this second and four they're going to look to throw shoves him away and able to get him down but he does reach the five 11 yds for number 11 good strong throw and catch right there and so far in this game the alleys have been open for them to get completions and they're taking advantage of it again he'll drop to throw flush to his right and he's able to get it down to the two yd line he'll get three Ys on the scramble there it's second down the Eagles going to take the first of their timeouts as they'll stop it with just over a minute to go before half time his running ability has been an extra dimension of their game plan thus far for once though he doesn't create any magic against a front that's prepared for him to try and take off it'll be Herz on the option and he's in touchdown Eagles Jaylen Herz scoring on the two yd keeper and the Eagles will take the lead here in the final minute of the first half and that touchdown gives them a touchdown lead before they attempt the extra point what a great way to end the half yeah great job to put themselves in front and now see on the sideline special teams defense scrambling saying we want to preserve this for the final moments of this second quarter [Applause] Elliot now to add the extra point he's got it as they go up by a total of 17- 10 a good drive that time as they go nine plays in all and it's culminated by a two- yd touchdown run now after the touch down here's Elliot on to kick it away and able to get this across the 20 but not much further as he's dropped at the 23 yd line the Packers with a football here late in this first half and with just under a minute to go they might try to think about mounting a drive here if they can and get in the end zone could potentially tie this game up [Applause] Jordan love ready on first down here and that's going to be incomplete the secondary has been roasted in this first half but they get a measure Revenge there nice play on the Deep ball yeah they're going to need a few more plays like that in order to get their confidence fully back but that's one step in the proper direction [Applause] an incomplete pass on first down that leads to a second and 10 love looking to throw it that's complete to dobs and they work this well up field across the 45 the Packers going to use one of their time outs as they'll stop it with just over 40 seconds to go in the first [Music] [Applause] half first down love to pass over the middle here it's hauled in by Watson now the Packers going to go ahead and use the second of their timeouts as they stop it here with just under 40 ticks to go in this first [Applause] half [Applause] go again it's love his throw incomplete well they've been back heels a little bit here on this drive but a chance to Exhale just a little bit there with incompletion on first down now they have to Gear Up try and get two more stops and escape this drive so second down still 10 yds to go ball on the [Applause] 43 to throw now here's love and that is intercepted on the sideline wait no they'll say no it was caught out of bounds so this is just an incompletion here interceptions have been a problem in this one if he could have got his feet down here would have been another would have been a huge one they've had a great game taking the ball away thought they had another one just unable to get those cleats in bounds he's got the first down and more and he gets this one down to the 24 they call his number again it's his sixth catch and a first down that's a play will likely be forgotten when you talk about big moments in this game but plays like this are critical to keep drives going and if points result we'll call this play [Applause] significant now a timeout signal for and they'll get it with 10 seconds to go before halftime so even though it's first down here's the field goal unit on now to try to get three before halftime he connected on his first this from 41 and his kick is good and that will cut this lead back down to four now it's 1713 so they are able to end that drive with three points in this one possession ball game and ideally you want to end every drive with points most quarterbacks would tell you let's end it with a kick right A P that's number one field goal you'll take punts you really don't want to do [Applause] [Applause] so the eagles with the lead and they're going to get this football first as the third quarter gets underway this taken in right around the goal line and not much happening on the return as he'll get this to about the 23 out come the Eagles now as he'll go on offense first here in the third quarter and they've got the lead CD what do you expect from them in this second half well I like what they were able to do on the ground in the first half because they had a lot of success running the ball and I certainly think we'll see more of that but I'd keep an eye on that defense and I think their coaches up in the Box will do the exact same thing if they start to see one or two guys start to creep towards the line of scrimmage that'll be licensed to take some shots down field second half begins with a run From Penny and he is going to be sto cold behind the line of scrimmage officially it's a one yd loss that's going to bring up second and 11 and plays like that are exactly what this defense needs here early in the second half to give it a little spark I think their halime adjustment what they talked about maybe it's just a little inspirational speech who knows but looks like they're ready to go a loss of a yard there to start out that leads to a second and 11 B sets up to throw it this will be caught by Brown and this will go as a gain of seven as he gets it to the 30 yd line decid to run a hitch rounde really helps to have a guy could turn it loose and boy he rifled one in there on that one not much run after catch that it worked really well here's third and three throwing is hurts and he can't get rid of it he's taken down it's Preston Smith he gets the sack there that be exactly what they were looking for coming out to start the third quarter get a sack get off the field get the momentum going in their Direction get the ball back to your offense right get that momentum because hey this lead is very very SL [Applause] the Eagles send out their pter now as he's on to kick it [Applause] away it's a 39 yd punt three on the return turn and out will come the offense as they take over so here are the Packers now they get set for their first possession of half number two and their defense did its job by forcing the punt to start things out and now Charles can the offense get in gear I think partner you can sense him saying okay the first half was theirs but now let's get the momentum back on our side we forced a punt now let's go down field and score if we do that we'll be set up well for this second half love going to break the Huddle lead the Packers up here first and 10 at their 38 they'll try and start this drive in the air going quickly there but it's incomplete Christian Watson the man he was looking for and it's second down [Applause] Love Now open man left side it's the tight end de and he'll be stopped right at Midfield they call his number again it's his six catch and a first down I like how they work the tight end on a nice little under route there and if you're going to give him that much space he's not going to catch the football he's going to run away from me a little bit and that's exactly what he just did there picking up extra [Applause] yardage playaction this time with love completed out left to dobs and he'll go down but not before getting this inside the 30 that one goes for y couple of first downs right in succession and this is an offense that can really use a good drive and they're off to a fast start here [Applause] [Applause] they'll bring a receiver in motion left he'll get it here on the Jet Sweep and this will leave him a yard short nice pick up of nine yds on first down that play wasn't quite as big as a play that preceded it but still got to like the way they're moving the football partner absolutely pretty good room to run on that last play yeah they didn't get a first down but still you'll take runs like that each and every time won't you second down and a yard [Applause] on play action love to throw over the middle complete it's Pearson and the Packers are going to be set up with a first and goal here as the tackle made at the nine well this has certainly been a nice drive but the way they spread the football around here they even get the fullback involved in the passing game that's got to cause a lot of consternation on the defensive side you've got to cover him too that makes things really difficult [Applause] now Jones and he'll work his way closer to the goal line as he's got five down to the three as long as been the Air Attack has gotten him down here but now where you start to lean on that running game that's a good pick up there on first and goal so the ball positioned now at the three here's second and goal [Applause] Dylan will'll take this one in for a packer touchdown just power football there down near the goal line give it to him he's able to push his way across yeah they went heavy there sometimes you have those big offensive linemen come and have to report like they're eligible but all they're doing is getting a good stance blocking and getting their Runner across the goal line [Applause] Carlson on for the extra [Applause] point and that one gives him a three-point lead so this drive SP seven plays and it was AJ Dylan who kept it off of the touchdown run [Applause] so after the M field goal here's Carlson to send it away this fielded right at the goal line muscles by at the 25 and out a little across the 25 the 27 Philadelphia getting set to take the field these guys definitely hoping for a better showing than their last appearance they couldn't really even move the football much beyond the Shadows of their own goal post Charles we'll see if they can get a better more sustained drive going here yeah and every team that we ever talk to says the exact same thing when you start a drive from that deep in your own territory the goal is a minimum of at least two first downs because even if you have to punt then you change the field position right you flip the field a little bit they didn't get that done this time they want to string together a nice drive and help themselves out and he'll get it up to the 33 yd line a nice little screen they get six on first down and a really nice play call there to start the drive especially if you're a team that has a little bit of a reputation for throwing it down field you come out and you think maybe you can catch them off guard a little bit and they did little screen pass back door him and that time worked well for ID gain here now second and four inside handoff Penny and they get him down but not before he takes it across the 40 yd line 63 yds rushing on 12 carries for him now that's pretty much mean potatoes right there wasn't it just go right at them and let your big horse charge up the middle not too fancy there was it nothing fancy at all challenging that def defense and on that go round the offense won the challenge they'll run it again with Penny they'll get this up to about the 44 well sometimes as a running back you've got to be able to improvise when the hole is not where you expect it to be but in this case there wasn't any ation that he could do that was going to work kind of like if you're trying to be a comedian on open mic night at The Improv and you run into a tough crowd second down here's Herz and the timing a bit off that time as that one falls to the ground and those two just hav been in s th far they've done a nice job against him but still with his talent you would expect them to have more completions to him in this game so the failure to connect on second down that leaves him staring up here at a third and eight hers work in the middle of the field and he's got a man complete and this is going to result in another first down as the tackle made at the Packers 42 a good gain of 14 there and it moves a chains we often hear the phrase sure-handed tight ends and he certainly fits into that category plus he's got a quar who knows to look his way when they need a big pick up and on this play he finds him for the first [Applause] down so into Packer territory now here's first and 10 at the 42 yd line here's Herz to throw and that going to be incomplete too tough to hold on to that one it's second down well that one was all about the defender making life difficult for the receiver very for got to hold on to the football through all that contact he ends up forcing the incompletion so after the incompletion on first now second and 10 back to throw again towards the end zone for Brown touchdown AJ Brown 42 yards and the Eagles have retaken a third quarter lead well you know he can be explosive and he's Ultra explosive there on the Fly route and you know how many times we've talked to coaches and we've had quoted back to us well you know something when you execute really well it doesn't matter if they know it's coming or not well sometimes athleticism beat you as well he just took off and went and that's almost like one of your turkey balll games isn't it just go long man I'll hit you and it worked really well for them Elliot on for the extra point and that will make this a four-point game so that winds up a seven playay drive all told and it's capped off by an AJ Brown touchdown [Applause] now after the touchdown here's Elliot on to kick it away this taken in at the goal line and they'll get him down inside the 30 at the 27 now trotting out there the Packers getting ready to go and they'll just simply be looking to build off the confidence of the last time out where they scored a touchdown that confidence is powerful isn't it when you've scored once you feel like you can go back out there and get it done again doesn't matter what the defense throws at them they feel like they're in a groove right now and they want to get out there and show it hoping to stay in that Groove here this go [Applause] around you can just kind of sense the momentum turning here it's first and [Music] 10 they'll begin the drive with a run by Dylan oh he sheds himself free and he'll go out near Midfield at the 49 that's good for 21 yds and a first down thought they were going to have him down a lot earlier but he was able to tackle shows the value of the weight room doesn't it shows the value of the attitude when you run the football don't go down easily break a few tackles gain some additional yardage so one play and they're already just shy of Midfield play fake here's love pressure comes and down he goes the Eagles get there for the sack that sack courtesy of the effort of sh reic I think a lot of time when we see a sack you say well you blame it on the offensive line the quarterback but here maybe you just tip your hat to the defender what a play yeah and I think sometimes they just get a sense of the play before the ball's even snapped kind of like a sprinter anticipating the gun in a race they're off and guess what the quarterback's [Applause] down protection certainly going to need to be a bit better here on second and 16 [Applause] here's love he finds his man complete that's Reed and he'll be brought down at the 48 yd line so the completion results there in nine yds third and seven now so seven yards from the first down here as they come up to the line of scrimmage on third down love and it's incomplete took a shot couldn't connect and you just know when that play call came in their eyes lit up because anytime you get a chance to take a big shot down field that's a lot of fun and they missed an [Applause] opportunity here's Pat O'Donnell now as he'll putt it away for the second time oh and what a play on special teams here this is going to be down inside the five all the way down at the two yd line he's got to be fired up about that effort I don't think he could have walked down and placed it any better than where he ended up putting the football that was excellent wide receiver AJ Brown you see he and the rest of his mates returning to the field here pretty good game for him so far I guess he still got time here to make this a great game but so far he's been solid I like where you're going with that because it has been pretty good but there's always that hint that things can really escalate for him and right now they they feel like they're somewhat keeping him in check but he has found the end zone once but boy he can explode at any moment yeah when you hit that in zone once you want to find it again don't you you do you hunger you get greedy in a good way they'll start on the ground it's Rashad Penny and he will Forge his way forward only up to the two yd line just a yard on the pickup there and it'll bring up a second and nine well not a game that you're going to go crazy about but when you start at your own two yd line any type of space is good for the offensive guys yeah you just can't go backwards from here they did it now we'll see if they can keep it on schedule here on second down on second down here's Penny and able to get it across the 10 to the 15 79 yds for him on the ground now he has been a tough man to bring down all night nothing too fancy just a carry up the middle but a successful carry up the middle against his three four defense and to be able to do that what do you have to control the nose guard right got to be able to move him otherwise you're not getting anything up the middle nice job by the center got a Little Help from one of his friends playing guard now they have a little more space to maneuver from the 15 first and 10 again it's Penny and not much there at all he's up only to about the 16 yd line just a yard on the first down carry so it's second and nine that felt like a trap because it looked to me like the opposing front was on that play from the GetGo they everyone crashing the ball Carri before he even made the line and they hold him to just a yard they work now on second and nine now they'll switch it up here and look to throw now they go screen it's complete and he's able to break out a one tackle but then quickly brought down give him five on the screen play and that'll set up a third down boy that one was well read defensively and this is all about diagnosis as a safety and being decisive because he saw it setting up in front of him able to kn through there and make the play this now a third and four now back to throw herds fumbles it and the Packers pick it up and he'll take this down inside the 15 yd line so turnovers Charles you figure will be key in the second half and that's a big giveaway there yeah and as you and I both know coaches are always preaching ball security and none more often than right here in the second half of a tight football game now You' got to believe what the coaches are saying and take care of that football the Green Bay offense now about ready to take possession here they take over already inside the Red Zone thanks to a great return there after the fumble first and [Applause] 10 here's a first and 10 at the 14 yd line an inside give to Jones he's going to get four out of this as he's down to the 10yd line that kind of run on first down that's a winning type of a run that just sets things up for them moving forward as they begin the drive second and six from the 10 working out of the gun love and it's a Packers touchdown Romeo dobs from 10 yds out and the Packers have taken the lead here this third quarter well executed there offensively defense looked a little confused but he found his receiver and that one good for six points and the payoff we just saw there tells us how many times they ran this play in practice over the past few weeks because they executed that flawlessly right here on game day when the sit [Applause] arose Carlson's extra point up and good and that gives him a three-point lead that drive started with not a whole lot of real estate in front of them in plus territory excellent field position two plays later p [Applause] so now Carlson after the touchdown called on to send this one away and they will Wrangle him down a coup yard shy of the [Applause] 30 Here Comes Eagle offense now as they get set to take over here Charles you got to think the number one goal here is ball security remember last Drive they coughed it up then they allowed the touchdown and now they're trailing on the scoreboard boy the way you described it makes me think that that one actually hurt them three times the fumble cost them potential points then they watch their opponent get a touchdown off of the fumble and third they lost the lead as a result really tough sequence right there I don't think coaches have to remind them to hold on to the football they've just got to find a way to get it done now he breaks free in the middle of the field and he's all the way up to the 39 yd line that time the drive starting with a first down 11 yds on that pickup that tight end position it just seems to continue to evolve every year in the NFL yeah you're getting really terrific athletes a lot of them May were wide receivers at one point that continue to give you speed great hands and big bodies which make them excellent targets for quarterbacks on first down Herz and that's going to be caught downfield by Brown and he takes this one down almost all the way to the 30 that one goes for 30 yds well this game has certainly had no shortage of offense both teams have been reved up from the start and here's yet another big play boy both defense have just got to be dragging out there because they've been run ragged [Applause] throughout so the big Play Changes the complexion of things here's first and 10 just outside the 30 throwing from the gun it's hers finds the open Target Arnold so the completion good for just three and it will be second down completion was given up but that's why you play zone defense so you can have people around the ball when it's caught and you don't give up much run after the catch from the 29 here's a second and seven herds going to keep it on the draw hers fumbles it and the Packers pick it up and a big turnover there as his guys will get the football back the tie definitely seems to be turning in this third quarter as this defense is able to knock the ball fre and recover and let's look at it this way their offense is right back out there who just got him the lead a few minutes ago this has the potential to be a big swing in this game the Packer offense now ready to get back on the field they have played so strongly you look at the scoreboard you probably with the way they played you would think the margin would be a lot bigger right you would and in your experience how many times have we run into coaches where they've talked about hey we just want to put in the hands of our defense and have them win the game in this case yeah not the case not at all you want to put in the hands of your offense but you always feel better about seeing defense because you think defense is a constant and offense kind of comes and goes today this game no they need their offense to stay on a really hot level they've been hot so far the Tackle by ncoe Dean they know that old expression he not my night it hasn't been his so far I don't know if the legs are a little bit heavy sometimes having to hang out all day and play doesn't exactly play to your advantage but it's been a tough go for him every time he looks up somebody's there defensively that was the same case on that play here's Jones again on second down four yds on the pickup there as it'll leave him with a third and about four more for a first Well you certainly have to give a little credit here because they're playing this game now at their Pace this is ball control football sustained runs taking their time and making it [Applause] [Music] work here is third down at four love Eagle pressure to too much this time down he goes Assan reck his second sack of the night even keeping the back end for Extra Protection on third down they still couldn't prevent the sack now it's Fourth and long thanks to a terrific individual effort on defense here's Pat o'donell now as he's on to punt for Green [Applause] Bay now a fair catch taken just across Midfield Maybe by a yard or two 36 yds on the punt with no return and it will be Eagles football first and 10 Philadelphia's offense ready to go again they're sort of seeing themselves spiral out of control let's see if they can get things back on track and this is where the coach is walking that line of being calm and really being firm with his team had one tell me once you know when we were having a tough patch this two shell pass this two shell pass and fin we kept having a rough patch he said but you've got to do something to make it pass and that's what they have to do they've got to get some control back get themselves reasserted and calm things down see if they can get calm and reassert themselves here and it'll be incomplete good job staying with him defensively and it'll bring up second down this defense is continuing to contest every deep ball that is thrown down field and look it doesn't matter whether you're playing man or Zone eventually that becomes man on man and you got to trust yourself and go up at that moment of truth and make a play on the football Herz throw there taken in by Smith and he is tackled inside the 40 not quite to the 35 well they go with a slant that time 15 yds and a first down you can see the time and effort and thought that they put into their passing game because it was evident right there it looks like a simple pitch and catch but you and I both know that they have planned for this and worked hard to make it happen so from the 36 now first and 10 from the gun it's hers a quick throw knocked away and incomplete quarterbacks work all the time on manipulating the defense with their eyes and their head movement and this case he just stared the receiver down that allowed for excellent coverage able to knock that one away a good action to this point in the third quarter just a three-point game second and 10 they'll look to throw again and this one incomplete too much contact to hold on to that one and it's third down this is certainly a team that has proven it likes to Target it backs through the air defensively they were aware of that and certainly were prepared on that throw and this should be the final play before the quarter ends they'll stick with the passing game as he looks to throw and he'll go down and that will do it for the third quarter of action three quarters have come and gone we'll return with more after this this is the NFL and it's on EA Sports [Applause] so here's a first and 10 now down inside the 20 they'll look to throw and he's wrapped up taken down back at the 25 Quay Walker came through to make the and it's never going to take a sack you really don't want to take one down here in this part of the field down near the Red Zone not at all because you're already pretty much a short of a field goal but you take a big sack it could push you out of range and that's why defenses get a little more aggressive in this situation they're almost conceding the three points they want to push you back and try and take you out of that work to be done here on second and 16 after the sack he look to throw this is caught it's brown and he gets it all the way down inside the 10 and Mark him at the five with that catch he goes over a 100 yds receiving on the night tell you what he's been able to put the ball in some tight spots all game long that throw no different yeah a lot of people would call it a gutsy type of a throw I think he looks at it as I can do it so it's not that big of a deal to me and I'm going to keep firing only way to get the lead here of course with a touchdown and that's what they're gunning for on first and goal they'll try and run for it with Penny and he's going to get him about three yd closer he's down to about the two this has been an up and down back and forth type of a game hasn't it maybe this long drive take a little bit of the wind out of their Sals kind of settle things down a little bit from the two now second and goal it'll be Herz on the option and he's in front Eagles touchdown jayen Herz scoring on the two yd keeper and the Eagles have moved out in front here in the fourth quarter well Charles he's already proven that he's not afraid to tuck that football down on the option and he's into the end zone for the second time time in the game and that's exactly what you need from your quarterback the ability to run the ball fearlessly and in fact many quarterbacks will tell you running the football doesn't scare them standing in the pocket and taking Blindside hits that's what terrifies [Applause] them Elliot now to add the extra [Applause] point and that will make this a four-point game so that drive consumes nine plays all told and it's culminated by a two-y touchdown run now after the touchdown here's Elliot on to kick it away Nixon elects not to return it and this comes out to the 25 the Packers ready to take over offensively we certainly a good one on our hands they're trailing after that last touchdown but now a chance for this offense to try to snag that lead right back here in the fourth [Applause] quarter loving the happy with how it turned out don't be surprised to see them revisit that call because there was a lane there for more than just five yard put in your back pocket and break it out when you need it first down was a good nice crisp run for a first down I wonder if the defense might have been loosened up a little bit maybe anticipating a pass instead of the run that they got line of scrimmage the 37 on First and 10 now love out to the left here to Reed and he'll be out of bounds after getting this one across the 40 it'll go as a gain of four and it's second down [Applause] to pass here's Jordan love got dos over the middle he's up to 88 yd receiving in the ball game now and he's got a first down they like going to him in the slot he catches another one I think this comes Under The Heading of until they stop him why not go back to it he has something going really well great working relationship with the guy throwing the ball and they keep making the connection on First and 10 love completes it again to dobs so the completion results there in nine yards and it'll bring up a second and [Applause] short now they'll toss to the Jones running left and he's going to get this one down to the edge of the Red Zone good yardage as he rumbles for 24 and a first another carry for their leader and a good one it's crunch time they'll need him to continue to be productive in both the run and passing game in order for them to try and snatch Victory after the run by Jones here's first and 10 not throwing love a quick throw there going to be batted away and incomplete partner for once in my life I'll be succinct in a one possession game every single stop like that could be a Difference Maker after the incompletion here's second and 10 from the 20 to throw again love setting up the screen here Aaron Jones and a nice job to break free one tackle but it slowed his momentum somewhat and he's taken down right after four yds the gain and it'll bring up a third down I thought that wasn't a bad time to call the screen I've thought late game down on the scoreboard had to figure they were expecting a pass down field yeah so the edge rushers they're coming that could have hit big you're right good recognition defensively to Snuff that one out and he will get this into the end zone touchdown Green Bay Jordan love a 16 yd touchdown run and the Packers answer back with a touchdown of their own to take a fourth quarter lead but plenty of scoring here of late and our lead changes hands now in the fourth quarter yeah they just gave up a touchdown the other end so they knew that with time getting short they had to put something together here and they were able to do so and retake the lead right back now an important extra point here to this lead to a field goal he's doing isn't working he's up over 100 yards we'll see how they adjust and when they do that they weaken their defense in other places as well and how many times have we done games where we've seen a guy have a big game like this but it's usually not by himself is it usually it opens it up for other people to have big games as well and the Eagles come up here first and 10 at their own 24 they begin with a run by Penny and they're able to get this one across the 35 solid way to start the drive 13 yds picking up the first we'll definitely see some open running lanes and he's taking advantage of it right now but that shouldn't be a surprise defense has the lead they're playing for the pass first line of scrimmage the 37 on First and 10 from the gun to give to Penny and he's going to take this ahead for right around three yard but no more than that second down not a lot of running room there not a place to make a cut and kind of exit out because they had everything bottled up looked to me like the linemen were taking on their blocks really well and giving up no creases here's second and seven they'll set up to throw and this one too low I'm not quite sure how to judge that one maybe didn't have enough legs Underneath Him mechanics might have been off maybe some faue that one came up short yeah fourth quarter maybe you do start to watch as the arm there the leg still there this back to throw rolling to his right and he'll protect himself at the end here as he winds up getting pretty decent yardage The Improv on the scramble there gets him six and it'll be second down these are running back numbers that he's accumulating right now received double digit carries and has rewarded them by breaking the Sentry Mark and rushing in addition to what he's done through the air definitely MVP caliber football we're witnessing second down here's jayen Herz and that's out to the flat for Swift and here he'll be brought down a little shy of the 35 at the 36 six yds the pickup and that's a first down another catch for him there on this drive Brandon and it looks like they're going to utilize him out of the back field any way they can that time they pick up a first down so now on defense do you assign a man to him and try and cover him before he gets going on First and 10 it's hers this to Arnold on the short pass call it a gain of three on the play and that'll make it second down that's always a good place to throw it just because he's one of the biggest targets not only on this team but in the National Football League and you and I both know the quarterbacks love these large body tight ends and why not nowadays they're really wide receivers who are just taller and have a little bit more weight these guys catch the football make big plays down field and the old days we wanted them to block now coaches want to catch the football first now an option play on second down and maybe the wrong read there as he's going to go down immediately now they're staring at a third and eight that last play Backwards a yard not a lot of success to be found there you got that right partner because if you're trying to make guys miss about yard are so down field that's a pretty good play but if you got to do it in your own Back Field I consider that a problem that doesn't work too [Applause] well a field goal from this spot would be 51 yds they'll try to move it closer on third down they'll drop to throw and that is incomplete tight end has become a bigger and bigger part of the passing game in the NFL but if you drop the football that position can get swapped out with a a wide receiver in that spot a running back in that spot there are other ways they can go if you're not going to catch the ball and that's not just his first drop his second drop of the game the kick by Elliot is good and in the fourth quarter this game is tied these kickers now used to be that a 50 plus yard was caused for celebration now seemingly automatic yeah isn't it funny when we prepare for a game when you look at the backgrounds of these kickers it's interesting isn't it to find out they were all state quarterbacks receivers defensive backs All State wrestlers right carry by Dylan and he'll get this just across 25 yd line I know that speed is the Hallmark of today's NFL game but the key to good rushing defense is still having your linebackers set the [Applause] edge this is second and eight back to the ground this time with Jones he's going to be dropped following a pick up of seven pass the 30 to the 32 that was a good run probably right on the edge of breaking into something really big so the defensive guys right now are talking about okay what can we do to slow him down before he truly gets started the Packers on third down they've converted six times and could use a seventh here they need just a yard here it's third and one flushed out and he's going to have to eat this one as down he goes Buri for the sack by big jayen Carter third and one they op to pass it and the one thing happened that could not happen they took a sack yeah I just wonder is that an indictment of their offensive line did they think that they couldn't move them enough to pick up a first down there or was it analytics did they think about it that way in any event they'll be studying that in the future here's Pat o'donell now as he's on to punt for the fourth time tonight fair catch called for and taken right near the 30 yd line a 40 yd punt no return and it will be first and 10 as they take over here's the Philadelphia offensive unit now as they head out to take over possession excellent job by their defense to force the punt and provide them with this opportunity all tied in the fourth quarter [Applause] hson the Eagles come up here first and 10 at the 31 yd line they'll come out throwing here to start the drive man open left side is brown and pass the 40 before he's out of bounds right off the bat it's a first down to start the drive 12 yds and partner in a tie game in the fourth quarter you and I both know in the NFL that's when you lean on your stars and he came through with a nice catch right there penny a first down carry he'll get this up to the 47 and brought down there that was a quality play to start a new set of downs that was simply an offensive line winning the battle up front and winning in a big way and giving their guy in the back field a nice Lane to hit second down and six now Penny up the middle and this will be taken across Midfield and into Green Bay territory give him four on the carry and it'll make this a third and about two back to back four yard runs now look if they just do that all the way down field ball ends up in the end zone but that's a little to do yeah I think now third and two that defense ready to stiffen up and stop that run out of the gun now on third down ah he had a man open but he missed him and it's incomplete well the other day they told us when we got third and five or less we have to be able to convert and I guess every team would say that Charles but an opportunity Miss there what they were trying to tell us is they believe it's a matchup game at that point and they like some match up that they had thought they could exploit them unable to do so on that play on fourth down the punt team is on as this is sent away and no return possible here as they angle this one out of bounds now the Packers get set to go and Charles a very uninspired effort the last time we saw them out there it was a quick three and out then they punted the football yeah and you never want to get stopped so soundly during a series but what would be even worse now is letting it happen again right here they've got to get going loving the Packers now with a first and 10 at the 31 yd [Applause] line they'll start this drive out on the ground and he'll power ahead but only for about three yds second down coming up typically we think it's the strong safeties that are better tacklers especially closer to the line of scrimmage traffic but in this case how about the free safety coming up and making the big time play second and seven operating from the 34 they'll bring a tight end in motion left on second down another run for Dylan and he'll get this one up to about the 39 here call it a gain of five there on the run but they'll remain a yard or two short here with third down coming up it's not a huge Breakaway run but if your starting running back finishes the game with aages of five or six yard per touch you'll take that every single time a big play here third and two love looking to throw it pass taken in by his big tight end and he's going to have a Packers first down it's a gain of six that time on Third and two getting down to the good stuff all tied with two minutes finds one here Crossing route working from right to left across the field but once you get Defenders going in the wrong direction it is awfully hard for them to Pivot back and you end up getting the first down here's first and 10 [Applause] and now a fake on the Jet Sweep and a give to Jones and he'll lose yardage brought down at the [Music] 32 partner you've got about 20 coaches on your payroll but there's 60,000 of them in the stands I don't think any of them like that play and the later we go it's starting to sound like 100,000 in here [Applause] they'll come up now this is second and long give to Dylan and he will not make it to that imaginary yellow line as they get him to the ground at about the [Applause] 23 so the field goal unit is on thei field as this is a big spot right here this for the lead in the final stages and his kick is right there it's good and with a little over a minute to play they have taken the lead big kick right there to give him the lead in the fourth but there is still time left for a final drive did they score too soon post game will tell us right depending what happens on this drive that's how we'll analyze it if the other team they scored too soon if they somehow hold on they manag to clock exactly right so after the M field goal here's Carlson to send it away and up to about the 26 yd line just across the 25 hers and the Eagles now down by a field goal a [Applause] [Music] he'll look to throw pass complete G and he'll be out of bounds across the 30 yd line it didn't check off every box but the most important one got the clock stopped getting out of bounds they maybe a little short of the first down but I thought that was the key here comes second down at five back to throw finding Watkins and he's going to get out of bounds with the first down so an ideal set of circumstances there they move the chains and they save that final timeout well they got the yardage they needed there picked up the first down got out of bounds how about the urgency that they have as well as you understand where they are on the field just the one timeout remaining as they try to navigate this two-minute drill first and 10 hers throw complete there to Smith and he'll be taken down but not before he gets into enemy [Applause] territory here's first down they'll look to throw this short throw caught by G and they'll get him down as he's overtime and with inside of 10 seconds eight to be precise we get whistles and a Timeout on the field so Herz is off and on comes Jake Elliot for the eagle field goal this to tie things up in the
