Miami Hurricanes MOVE UP in The AP Top 25 Poll | FSU Dropped OUT, Georgia Tech IN

so the AP Top 25 rankings have officially dropped along with the coaches poll and a few Miami fans believe that the canes are being a bit disrespected let's take a look at [Music] them what's going on Kane's fans I'd be lying to you if I said that I wasn't still riding that high from that floor the Gators win I understand that the Gators are not going to be very good this season we knew they weren't going to be very good but being 1 and0 is a pretty darn good feeling especially after we've seen how week zero and week one has played out uh for some other teams you know around the country but uh the the AP Top 25 here has released I just wanted to take a brief look at it that and the coaches poll and just see how this community feels about Miami's ranking and where they landed because I'm seeing you know this happens every year are the canes where they should be are they where they deserve to be is there any disrespect there or bias so let's jump on over here and just take a look at it and talk about it and we can kind of just talk about briefly here the rest of the teams and see what we think obviously Georgia at number one makes a ton of sense you take down Clemson 34 to3 you know how can you move those guys out of that spot Ohio State 152 to6 number two uh Texas just rolls Colorado State 52 to nothing so that makes a ton of sense Bama 63 to nothing taking care of business and Notre Dame beat Texas A&M at Texas A&M so they actually moved up two spots from number seven to number five oh miss just Molly whopped Ferman 76 to nothing so they stay stagnant there at number six and keep in mind Miami started the season at 19 that's where we were before we played Florida Oregon actually drops four spots because they barely beat Idaho really 24 to 14 so that's possibly scary for duck fans Penn State stays the same 3412 missou actually moves up two spots after beating the heck out of Murray State uh Michigan some people were saying might be overrated going into to 2024 let let me know what you guys think 30 to 10 over Fresno State Utah jumps up one and now here we are a actually really a massive jump for the Miami Hurricanes going from number 19 to number 12 moving up 7 spots after that 41- 17 victory over Florida and just look at that jump man when we start to look at some of these teams hey one spot one spot two spots uh two spots one spot and then bam Miami up seven spots I think the only other team that had a bigger jump is USC it is in fact USC who moved up 10 spots after taking down LSU and really though a close game 27 to 20 Victory there but Miami moving to number 12 and I'm just going to be blunt and honest I think that's fair I think that's fair if anything I wouldn't be mad if they didn't move Miami up that far and it's because I've always embraced the mentality of like let's earn it right let's show them because Mario chrisal even said after the Florida game the the media probably had the the Articles ready to praise Miami but then they also had the Articles ready to bash Miami after you know hyping Miami up all off seon and you know telling everybody they're probably going to be in the ACC Championship game they had those extra articles and thumbnails and stuff ready to go if Miami crapped the bed in the swamp but we didn't I'm fine with number 12 I'd be fine with with staying at 19 with being at 15 whatever especially with the expanded playoffs and stuff this year you win the ACC you get in it's one game Florida is is very mediocre but it's no easy task to go into the swamp and win so I do think we deserve a little bit of respect and praise there but most Miami fans I believe that most people here will agree that that number beside her name is really not super important I can definitely say it's not super important to me obviously it's something fun to brag about and to talk about but it's not the end of the world I saw a lot of people on Twitter saying that's so crazy disrespectful how can the canes not fall in the top 10 at least after that performance at number 12 I'm cool with it we don't need the players getting a big head fans getting a big head you you have to understand that last season we started out 4 and0 and then after that lost five of the next eight regular season games I don't think this team is anywhere near where last year's team was as in this year seems to be quite a bit better based off of just one performance one game you know I try to be realistic and honest but 12 man I I'm not upset about it at all I really don't know how how you can be USC at 13 Tennessee at at 14 they got Nico that qub back that they think is a Heisman Contender Oklahoma 15 you know this this list honestly is pretty good it is it is funny to see LSU fall five spots here the Brian Kelly meltdown with him slamming his fist on the table that was great stuff this has been one of the greatest week zero and week one openings for a college football season in my entire life this it's there have been so many things that have happened I love it Kansas 19 Arizona 20 Louisville at 22 we need some of these ACC teams to stay ranked I'm talking to you Florida State because if you look at our schedule let's finish scrolling down here because Georgia Tech did make the top 25 and I do think they deserve it and they have earned it so far you beat Florida State you beat Georgia State pretty handedly I think they've earned it and then NC State Clemson Falls 11 spots to go to 25 that'll be interesting to see because they were just very outmatched against Georgia it's it's that thing again for a lot of teams it's Georgia way up here and then everyone else is not right behind them but they're they're pretty far down behind look at our schedule right now as it stands we are only playing two ranked teams and that's going to be Georgia Tech and Louisville so you know that's obviously subject to change as the season progresses but we need some it would be nice to play some more ranked opponents you know now you got Florida State outside of the top 25 hopefully some of these other ACC teams can can work their way on this list but Miami really in here repping the ACC bro over here at number 12 now let's take a look at the coaches poll which does have Miami in a bit of a different spot I'm going to make my camera a little bit smaller here different website well we got to go w we got to go real tiny might have to change the way my voice sounds uh you know the top top five top 10 or so is is going to be very similar Georgia Ohio State Texas B Old Miss Oregon even though they did follow a couple of spots you know that makes sense but where is Miami that's where we want to see the difference okay so they have Miami at 15 moving up four spots on the coach coaches pole once again I don't see any any disrespect here it's it's one game I don't think there's any reason to overreact one way or another good or bad I just Tru it's funny because I'm making a video talking about the top 25 you know and the coaches poll and all this stuff when really at the end of the day at least right now I don't really care it's not that I don't care but like it it doesn't really matter to me right now you know I I really am that fan that says just just take care of business just win and everything else takes care of itself we don't need to be focusing on the rankings and all that stuff but when I say we I'm I'm really talking about the team right we are fans so what we're going to do is is talk about the top 25 we are going to talk about these things let's make ourselves large and in charge again here so you can actually see me it's okay to have these conversations and talk about this stuff and and you know banter back and forth and stuff over it because we're not the ones on the field playing the games we don't have to worry about locking in and focusing I always laugh because I have people all the time when I release diss tracks or I'll make videos trolling another team and the opposing team's fan base will be like cop you need to lock in you need to be focused up for this game so we can take care of business what do you want me to do you want me to go outside and run 110 in my front yard to work on my cardio for the game I am a fan I sit on the couch and watch the game well I don't I I stand up because I'm I'm too animated and too into it that we are fans so that's why I wanted to do a video talking about this and I want to know if you think it's disrespectful do you think this is about right based on where the college football landscape is sitting at right now I think this is probably about perfect given the caliber of opponent that we played and the fact that we only have one game under our belt so far I have no problem with this I like not throwing us quite into the top 10 yet because I do believe that would be a bit of an overreaction AS hype as I am about Cam and this team in this vicious dline and the corners you know stepped up and proved themselves a little bit in that game and people were worried about that but I do not want to see us going into the top 10 yet until we deserve it until we've earned it a bit until we have some more W's under our belt I'm perfectly happy with 12 you know coaches P they want to throw us at 15 I totally get it I totally get it more so what I'm concerned with or worried about or would like to see is some more of these other ACC teams on our schedule stepping up to the plate and getting ranked and you know winning football games I was so pumped for this Florida State game to be this big Showdown instate rivalry meaning something this year maybe a potential rematch in the conference Championship and they start out 0 and2 and it's two conference losses unbelievable this is not a a video to bash Florida State I just wanted to know your thoughts hey quick little video bro I'm fine I'm big chilling Kane's looking good probably the best team in the State of Florida this year and it it's already looking like it might be safe to say that I'm not even trying to have a big head we're going to take on bam you we're going to take on USF and we'll see what happens sound off
