My 1978 GMC Truck "Shannon" that I SOLD to Rob Pitts "Rabbit's Used Cars" on YT was on Mecum Auction

hey guys this is Jimmy from primer as best and I want to thank my YouTube subscriber who emailed me and told me because I didn't know that my 1978 Chevy GMC truck that uh we called Shannon because the guy that used to own the truck his name is Shannon so we named it Shannon after him I've met him uh one time maybe two times uh the 78 GMC truck Shannon was a is a factory bucket seat truck with console really unique truck and uh I got it from GM 1038 he bought it Brian check out his YouTube channel gm38 he's on YouTube his name is Brian uh Brian bought it to fix up for herself but something came up and he found something else that he wanted so he had he called me asked me if I wanted to buy the truck and uh my wife and I Mrs pib went over there to his garage and uh I bought it and uh what's amazing to me and I I try to do a video on it of the progression sometime but uh of that truck what's amazing to me is my wife and I rattle can painted this truck we put penetrol on this truck we put the wheels on the truck we lowered the truck we dressed up the engine I mean when you look at the inside of the bed that's me I rattle can painted it and I two-toned it two-toned it and uh myself rattle can painting and you when you look the when you look at the video you're about to see uh you of course you can pause at any time and look at details but you can see where I put my signature you know where the door lock is on the door you can see where I've scuffed it up to make it look like the keys was rubbing like it had been locked a lot of times and you know the keys on your keychain would rub it just little details like that uh the insides my wife and I didn't get to do the insides someone else after we we sold the truck to Rob pits along with four other vehicles he's on YouTube rabbit shes cars on YouTube rabbit shes cars Rob pits he come to our home he bought five vehicles the 62 Impala the 88 OB s truck Sam that he turned into a a telephone South Central Bell truck uh let's see what else the 75 C10 truck Sky how many is that and course Shannon and seemed like there was one more coffee oh yeah my wife sitting beside me the 2007 uh truck uh Silverado truck we had that went by the name of coffee we sold it five of them to him and somehow along the way you know how things get going and uh the 78 uh GMC truck Shannon wound up on make them auctions make them auctions how many times if you've been one of my longtime subscribers have you heard me say in my videos none of my trucks are going to me them auctions or Barrett Jackson it did it made it to me them auctions a rattle can paint job with panatrol the person that bought it they did that yeah the person that one of the owners that bought the truck I don't know how many owners it's had since I had it because Rob pittz sold a truck obviously that's what he does but uh somebody redone the insides I mean we hadn't got that far I even rattle can painted the carpet is do you remember that yeah yeah rattle can painted the carpet and that truck it looks awesome the cow hood the grill and all that stuff was already on the truck when I got it but uh man that thing had mop tires on it and stuff and guys I'm just believe me it it's just I can't believe you know I'm just so happy that something that was here in my driveway on my channel my YouTube channel primer is best wound up at me auctions and it still looks good and I don't think anybody at me auctions or any place else knew it was a rattle can paint job it just it just blows me away anyway you look at the video of the truck at mik auctions I I don't know how to find out you know how much it went for or whatever but that's a good looking truck and it run good too I that's a goodl looking truck but like I said on my channel I can't keep my trucks for very long I can't get I can't buy other trucks if I keep hanging on to the same ones so uh I'm I'm just I'm just overwhelmed with joy that something that we owned that my friends worked on Tim Dixon done the metal work at gas a Chop Shop wh and whan and uh of course GM Tim 38 and Charlie and Corey I mean that Corey put the AC on the truck uh I'm just amazed I'm just amazed can you tell I'm happy anyway you can pause the video at any time my my wife and I tried to record it the best we could uh you know from Tulsa 2023 uh me auctions thanks for watching guys I appreciate let me know what you think about Shannon and uh I miss that truck but you know it's got a it's got a good home whoever got it is taking good care of it oh I think we put bumper guards on
