States across the country recently petitioned the Supreme Court to stop illegal immigrants from voting wow I guess they're fighting the Democrats on that to Republican Attorneys General have signed on to the effort but what happened in Pennsylvania a Pennsylvania judge affirmed that incomplete mail ballots without required secrecy envelopes will not be counted so they had to sue for that they had it and it went all the way to the US Supreme Court in a 5 to4 decision you got to scratch your head and say why 5 to4 why is 9 to Z well what happened Reuters the US Supreme Court today revived part of an Arizona voter law requiring documented proof of US citizenship to register to vote is that controversial can you show us that you are a citizen so you can register no I'm not going to do it now we've talked about this for years you have to have an ID for a thousand different reasons related to Federal welfare benefits and getting a drive and all that but when it comes to voting for some reason the Democrats don't want voter ID they say it's racist and we've had people who interview people in the inner cities who say it's not racist as a matter of fact it's racist to say it's racist we know how to get a voter ID the justices in a 5 to4 ruling by the Skin of Their Teeth agreed to reinstate a provision of the law after a federal judge blocked it in response to Legal challenges by Democratic President Joe Biden's Administration and Democrat advocacy groups wow the decision comes before the November 5 election in which Democratic vice president Camala Harris is facing off against Trump Arizona's Republican controlled legislature adopted restrictions on voter registration in 2022 you have to be a citizen to vote oh my God that's racist oh sorry the law requires applicants who submit a federal registration form to provide evidence of US citizenship to vote in presidential elections or vote by mail in any federal election this was not controversial 20 years proof of US citizenship applications from voter registrants who use a separate State created form are rejected in their entirety and officials who failed to do so face a minor felony charge under the law now the Supreme Court's ruling revived the Restriction related to the state voter registration form but kept intact a Judicial decision blocking the provision that sought the tighten limits on the Federal Form chief justice Roberts joined with fellow conservative justices as they put it GRE Kavanaugh Clarence Thomas Sam Alo and Neil Gorsuch to Grant Republicans request in part though Thomas
