Vanderpump Rule’s JAX Taylor enters REHAB! #vanderpumprules

it's time to talk Jax Taylor Vander pump rules and Inpatient Rehab yes that's correct we're getting news verification from Jax Taylor bner Pump rules star of the new show the valley on Bravo TV has entered impatient rehab been diagnosed with what appears to be a dual diagnosis a bipolar um diagnosis on top of something else I'm going to pull up his exact verbage what he said about it online but because I am a recovery coach and I spent 3 years in prison about 10 years ago which is why I'm a recovery coach today work with women who reintegrating back into society after um jail rehab they could be in a family chemical dependency core where they might be working to get custody of their children back um those are all sort of situations that I'm going to help typically I work with people who have what's called a dual diagnosis which is going to be a mental health diagnosis like bipolar um you know any of those things along with a chemical dependency so that's where you're going to get the dual diagnosis for a long long time um people that had issues substance abuse issues would be treated in rehab for just the substance abuse but over the last probably decade I would say doctors counselors have come together and and realized that you know putting everything lumping everything into a chemical dependency issue is actually not going to treat the trauma or whatever we have going on on the mental health side so it's better that we're identifying a dual diagnosis here so that we can treat each individual issue instead of just lumping it all together and calling it an addiction or chemical dependency right so I just thought it would be a great chance to kind of talk to you guys about what it might be like for Jax Taylor right now while he's in impatient rehab um give you guys like I don't know I'll give you the behind the scenes uh tactics and info that might be helpful now mind you Dax Taylor's probably in a very very very nice rehab somewhere um he probably is getting massages and acupuncture and lymphatic drainage and I mean I it's sauna massages the works okay there there's different levels to rehabs as in what the rehabs princip you know what their expectations I guess would be a better word what their expectations are for their clients and their patients is going to be us usually different depending on the type of rehab that you go to right so you have a lot of really nice rehabs those are probably covered by really good insurance and then you have rehabs that are covered by Medicaid right they're probably not as nice but you can still find a lot of great it depends on what you are looking for right there's some people that go to rehab just because they have to go to rehab maybe they're on probation maybe their friends and family are on their back you know there's a multitude of reasons of why somebody would enter an Ina patient and there's not as much uh bias around rehab as there used to be when somebody entered rehab even 5 years ago I would say it would make headlines everywhere right but here we have jax Taylor entering rehab you know saying he's getting a dual diagnosis with a bipolar um you know uh where's the word I'm looking for bipolar diagnosis and this is his way of sort of getting it under control so before we get into this all guys make sure that you hit that like and follow button um Share my video it definitely helps I had to take the last week off I had some family uh things going on and I wasn't able to come on here and chat with you guys so I apologize for that but we're going to get into this make sure that you guys leave your thoughts in the comments right so if you guys don't know already if you did not watch the valley last season I would really really highly suggest get on it the valley was amazing it had an amazing first season Bravo as always of course choked at the very end and did not have a reunion already in motion um I don't know if they didn't expect this sort of um uh support that the valley got because a lot of people really really enjoyed it and a lot of people at this point are really concerned about the fact that maybe they're going to bring Lala and Sh Sheena back you know they're going to try to take them from Vanda pump rules and put them on the valley and people are like whoa whoa whoa whoa we do not want to see them no offense leave them on Vander pump rolles we really appreciate this really fresh um sort of cast that the valley has we had Jesse L and his wife Michelle who have since divorced um I don't I think right now they're both filming for the show I saw her filming with of course Britney Jax Taylor's uh wife who has since for divorce recently within like the last week I think um Michelle her and then we also had Kristen and we have um oh gosh what is her name is it Nema is that her name she's married to Dany I just love Danny I think he has a really amazing heart he seems like such a great guy they're Christians I think they go to church um out there in California which I'm sure is a very much different experience than than anywhere else but they do seem to um um love the Lord I I I you know that's how we hear them kind of talk a little bit about their their spirituality um on the show and church and stuff I think they met in church um I don't know you know of course we we don't know from TV what it's like but they have twins they have another baby so they have like three baby babies at home she's breastfeeding all of them she's a Mis I want to say she was Miss America she's something very she's very high title amongst the pageant community and she's probably one of the most gorgeous people on Bravo TV and again this is going to be Danny's wife from the valley um they seem like a really sweet uh couple and then you have ja and Brittney right and last season if you watched the valley then you saw the sort of treatment that Britney seemed to endure from Jack now any of you that have ever been with a narcissist I think can watch that relationship and really see the red flags and the radar going off and this is just what he shows us on television so imagine what she probably has been dealing with behind the scenes now if Jax does have a dual diagnosis a chemical dependency issue on top of a untreated undiagnosed bipolar 2 um issue then of course I'm sure that it was very difficult to live and reside with him I'm sure that it it had to um but at the same time Britney is entitled to her own life and her own happiness and she has to worry about what kind of mom she wants to be I have to insert something here that was for some reason to me it was very powerful and it was it was about like a mo like say you have a woman and she has a narcissist husband right and you have a child and um the child has you know she the child she has a great childhood right things things are good right I mean overall pretty good however the question was if you went back and the Mother wasn't married to the narcissist what kind of mother would she have been then you know what I'm saying like if you know your mom was the buffer if your mom was taking the heat if your mom was under stress if she was living with the narcissist and taking all the the the Heat and the constructive criticism and the ruining of all the holidays and you know the insults and just all of that and still trying to be a good mom on top of it can be difficult because one you're in a trauma State constantly you're in a fight ORF flight mode constantly you're emotions are you know all over the place you're not being filled up you you know everything is take take take take take a lot of times you have physical um issues that can come up after you know so long of dealing with a narcissist um or very you know any sort of relationship that could be you know one extreme to the other you often I I've heard that it's very common for women to develop uh UTI for whatever reason women who live with narcissist um or you know are the victim of narcissistic abuse um UTI seems to be where where it manifests for most people um which I thought was crazy I don't really understand that but it does seem to ring true from the experiences of the people that I know and see um and you know so Britney living with Jack we know what we saw on TV we can only imagine what it was like behind closed doors and now she left she left after I think the valley got done filming or something along those lines so Jesse and La Jesse and Michelle had already been in not a very good State per both of them per the whole filming of the show part of their storyline was the fact that maybe Michelle had been flirting with some of her clients sending sexy pictures even and even so much as it hooking up with a famous actor or director that was um where was he oh he used to hang out at this really fancy like uh Club if you will down the road from their house but we've heard that that's not true that was not this famous uh producer that they kind of just amped it up for whatever reason anyways back to Britney and Jack so Britney is an angel I really think that Britney seems like she is an angel and everyone has pretty much said that prior to her and Jack's getting married like he should just love her and worship her and be thankful because nobody else would put up with his [ __ ] sort of you know that's what we heard from a lot of people and that only goes so far when you're actually married to one right and the whole time during the valley Jax was telling Jesse and everyone else how he would never get divorced him and Britney were not about divorced it didn't matter how bad it got he was never getting divorced like that it's just not their thing yada yada yada yada yada yada yada yada yada okay when in reality it really was that bad Britney had um I guess they had planned they had talked about it they were there was a certain amount of time they were going to wait until they were going to try to have another baby and when that time came and and she was ready to start trying Jax was not about it and so that was sort of a um a buffer to her like that was sort of a sign to her I think that he doesn't maybe care as much about you and your ons for this family um as he should in my opinion is what I think happened and I think it was eye opening for her and so she decided that that's no longer what she wanted I remember when she left Jack she actually left the house with the baby and I think she went to like a um you know like where you rent those places my brain's not working today guys I'm so sorry I cannot I want to say a bed of breakfast but that's not it a b& that's not it that's a breaking an entry you guys that what an Airbnb thank you an Airbnb oh you guys she went to an Airbnb I'm sorry but I feel like it has to be kind of tough if you're living with someone and you got to go you got to move out and move into an Airbnb like in my opin opinion if you guys weren't getting along and you both could be civil enough you would you know stay a month and get an apartment somewhere versus having to do so much up and moving in my opinion I think Britney did that because she didn't anticipate that it was going to be permanent I think she thought that Jax would show some sort of initiative in counseling in therapy in marriage counseling like to get back together to make it work but instead he took off with their publicist if you remember he was in Canada and we were getting blind items from people um that were at the bar around them and that he was like all over the publicist then Brittney unfollowed the publicist and like there were rumors that he was asking for like party favors snow if you will um when he was with the publicist in Canada so yeah um I don't know the story is about the publicist but I do know after that then it was a that he was dating this Instagram model who had like these G ginormous okay and I'm not trying to I'm GNA give you guys code here but follow me some ginormous okay uh duties like ginormous I think she was like known on Instagram for that I mean they weren't real of course but um they were I don't even think there's a real word to even describe like jumbo ginor is huge that isn't even the real description you got to go look her up to get the actual full effect I promise um and he was dating her and she was like going to the bar and showing up at the bar and people were filming it and they were talking about it and I don't know exactly what transpired between those two um but something okay meanwhile Britney's still in the BNB situation and she's trying to get settled I think again I think she thought that Jax was going to change and unfortunately that just wasn't the case and so that forced her into making the decision do I try to go get an apartment where I can sign a lease and I have my own place or do I stay here because Jax is going to get his life together and he's going to realize he wants to be a dad with me and the baby like I can just I can just understand what her thoughts were so I think at some point Britney realized like this isn't going to get better Jax isn't going to do what I need him to do so I'm going to find I'm going to find a permanent residency but I also want to remind you guys that it's a little to me it's a little um I don't even know the word but I don't like the fact that he let her move out with the baby and he stayed there in their house um it I think that that it that says something if you're going to break up with someone and you're in a a relationship and you have a primary residence where the child has grown up you you know thus far how has the lived you try to keep the child in the most in my opinion what I Tred to do is to keep the most um keep everything as normal as I could with my daughter right no matter what and keep her in the same routine keep her around the same people same locations you know not too much change at once that sort of thing and I think that he could have done that and saying you know what Britney you guys you know stay here I'll go get um an Airbnb until we figure out what we want to do you know and then if you don't want this house I'll come back we'll buy each other out whatever the case may be my opinion it it would have been best for him to let Britney and the baby stay in the home and him go do whatever his thing was okay for the baby's sake right and so I think the Jack's always sort of had this um selfish mentality and so that is very much an IC mentality right we want what we want when we want it and patience is not in an addict's vocabulary most of the time an addict doesn't intentionally mean to be a very selfish person but unfortunately the addiction is very selfish and when the addiction is in control then a really great amazing person who's usually loving and caring and you trust around you know your money and your nice things is no longer that because they are being overrun with this addiction right and so unfortunately a lot of times you have people that start out doing recreational drugs and alcohol having a good time partying and and what I've researched is basically we all can be like prone to addiction we all could have it gen you know in our genetics but for whatever reason for some people at some point recreational is no longer recreational like a switch flips and you can never flip it back right so addicts and alcoholics please know that I'm don't know when I say addiction I'm putting all of that into one category um they have a hard time understanding that there's no going back right so you used to be able to go to the bar let's say hypothetically for an alcoholic and have two drinks some nights you had two drinks and then it became three and then it became four and then it became five and then you were blocking out right so you go to rehab you get better you start treating your mental health and you say well you know what I can go back to just having two drinks a night no you can't most of the time you can't right if alcohol is your doc your drug of chice what you love what your addiction is with you're never going to be able to go back to the days of I just had two drinks I stopped at two it's not usually typically going to happen for an addict because one is good two is better three is even better it's just like there's no stopping right because if they could have stopped they probably wouldn't be in rehab right so um it's going to be interesting to see what Jack's his recovery looks like when he actually gets out of the rehab okay I'm going to be doing um a one on Shannon bador and her treatment and what she was going through with um his her alcoholism um I want to start including some more stuff of recovery over on my podcast so make sure you guys keep an eye out for that but let me share with you what Jax Taylor said hold on okay so Jax Taylor said a little over a month ago I checked into an intensive inpatient treatment facility scared of the unknown and what I would find out of all myself after many years of knowing something was wrong but not knowing exactly what it was I recently learned that I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and PTSD it's been a lot to process and an emotional time for me however I've come home to my son with a newfound sense of Peace I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared for the future but my focus is just trying to be a better version of myself than I was yesterday mental health is a lifelong battle not letting it control you um not letting it control you and then he goes on to say I'd be lying if I wasn't scared for the future but my focus is just trying to be a better version of myself than I was yesterday mental health is a lifelong Battle of not letting it control you but rather you learning to control it thank you everyone who's reached out in support and who has also shared their own personal struggles with me your messages have helped me more than you know um I want to know what your guys's thoughts are in the comments because unfortunately addiction has touched so many people's lives whether it's moms dads Sons Aunts Uncles um it's touched many many lives a lot of people have their own story with addiction um and recovery and so I would love to see some of your guys's comments and what your thoughts are and what you think is going to be moving forward for Jax again he said he had a ptsc and a bipolar um diagnosis post-traumatic stress syndrome what happens with that a lot of the time is the treatment for that is sort of like talking it out I think they do do a um treatment that Dorito from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills had done it's like um you hold uh you hold like these little things in each hand and it sort of send a frequency to the brain um when you're going through therapy and you're talking about trauma but a lot of it is also being in a fight ORF flight mode which is something that I think we kind of see from Jack Taylor a little bit like he's all or nothing and uh that's something that he probably is going to have to learn to control through a one-on-one therapist through a intensive outpatient group so honestly usually after an inpatient um stay the client will go from from inpatient to back home or wherever they reside and they will then take part in an intensive outpatient program which is 3 to 4 days a week a 3 to four hour group setting session and then on top of that they typically start one-on-one counseling with their provider and once they complete however long the Intensive Outpatient Treatment is determined that's needed for the patient sometimes it's 20 sessions sometimes it's 30 sessions uh after after that then you would be looking at more of like a relapse prevention um if they don't have any hiccups during IOP right so if they get through IOP with no hiccups no lapses no diluted screens then they go on to the relapse recovery however when you're in the int intensive outpatient part of your program you're getting drug tested very regularly just as much as you probably were when you were in rehab if not more because they know you have access to things now um that they want to know you know if you're having issues and if you are having issues IOP is there to support you and to guide you into help you know they don't want to just take you in give you all this you know rehab sources papers whatever you know you're sick maybe you're detoxing maybe whatever the case may be you're not able to retain a lot of information and so when you go home you don't go to your intensive outpatient you're not seeing your one-onone counselor you really haven't done the work work to make the change and you're kind of right back where you were to begin with so it's it's a rough cycle uh I think that Jax definitely has the potential to um you know get it together and to maybe even get some counseling maybe bring Britney in and help be amazing co-parents that would be my hope for them um that you know if if they were having issues when they were married it's great if they could come together and be you know parents love their child they don't have to be together but if they could go sit in on a counseling session with one or the other and go over sort of what their parenting goals are what you know the visitations are going to look like who's dropping off who's picking up and just get all of that laid out so that the less they have to communicate about the less they have to fight about okay so it's like that's the best way to do it sometimes when you have a situation where two people aren't getting along and even a child it's like get them into a routine everyone know their part of the routine and that's that they just have to any phone calls don't change the times don't nothing let it be this and a lot of times we see um you know progress with that so again I want to know what your guys's thoughts are um the valley is filming and I'm so excited I really um have to do a a video on Janet because everyone is asking me to because there was like this whole Reddit Scandal um I want to know if any of you
