ready [Applause] play so we've just witnessed a pretty good match three sets but in the end fona just fell short right yeah I mean could have been a pretty rough one actually to 6 to5 but the second set comeback makes it okay on many levels because it actually gives him something to like look back at and you know I I did fight I did almost come close to winning this uh of course he's had a few matches like this recently Orlando Lucas andion and stuff I mean he's definitely quite a a comeback guy uh showed a lot of potential but of course you know the game is super raw um I think we talked about this a couple of days ago that like I wasn't fully certain he was going to win it because like hinski is just such a kind of tough guy to play with like the solid heavy big shots from both Wings you know decent movement as well for his height for sure and um yeah I mean it's a bit of a shame that we won't get hkat onea but of course with dra and he mentioned that in press as well so maybe hinted it by us but like you know he's got so much time that we're going to get these matches anyway he's going to get these big time experiences anyway so it's just another steps the forehand today though was pretty special to witness right it's always special to witness right I mean obviously it's a it's a shot that makes a lot of like commits a lot of errors with sometimes but it's always the one to avoid I think hinski especially like he he knew it instantly you know there was that break in the third game I think for fona after that sure he loses five games in a row but like a lot of rallies um I was sitting with friend of ours and he was trying to record a fona forand winner and they stopped coming because like hinski was just making sure that fona wouldn't get these opportunities again he wouldn't get these comfortable positions but then still the second set tie break the first four points I mean absolutely fabulous somehow he still gets over the line despite being a little tired in that set yeah I think there was still a lot definitely to enjoy and you know he is a breathtaking watch absolutely a word on hoinsky as well I mean he did play with a good amount of margin I felt and that was it was it was kind of chalk and cheese like opposites in some way and that that fona every time he had even a half chance on the forehand he was going for it sometimes he would get it right and sometimes he wouldn't which is normal of course when you're going for it like that points on the other hand was bit more not not conservative he just played with a lot more margin in the end it got him over the line yeah I mean that's his tennis you know he's got like pretty big Power I guess you know he's obviously a very physical guy but he doesn't actually like open up the court that much doesn't go for the lines all that much yeah he's more about that solid heavy hitting which you know is a great style I think going up actually because he's of course polish British German so he played a lot of Polish events I remember saying that it can't work simply because you know a tall guy like that can't play tennis like this but of course over the years actually what his father was Andre hki was going with sort of for foran's Progress it actually turns out that it's possible you've got hkat you've got Med I mean really there's a lot of similarities to hkat and perhaps also that's why the second round the all polish sort of thatby will be very interesting yeah I word done just finally on that then I I guess is it is it too easy to conclude that this is kind of good news for Hubie in terms of his progress at this tournament not really I mean when you play fora these days he's still 17 like he can just throw out a billion balls and you're passing through this fite like not really you know doing much like it happens against hinski it's definitely going to be be a workout when they played at Wimbledon last year it wasn't close hkat won but of course that was like you know kin's worst surface kar's best here it's probably swapped Kinski is like maybe not a hardore play specialist but kind of and uh yeah I think I just expect it to be a big SLO you know I think both guys love like grinding long deep ralles and uh after the serves um it's kind of back to neutral and back to trading if it's as slow especially as on the some the last few days but actually I don't think it will be right the weather is getting better so tomorrow I think I expect the conditions to be a little faster but yeah it it whatever way it goes like it's going to be just a really physical match for sure Xiao does come across as being very I was just thinking as you were answering that question I was just thinking about having spoken to him obviously impressed just now he does come across it's very mature right absolutely I think it's actually one of the sort of parts of his personality that sort of convinced me that yeah I mean this is a guy that I can trust to sort of become the best version of himself he's got a great team around him and just the sort of attitude to maybe not necessarily go for everything already I know maybe he kind of went against that with like not going to college but I mean he's in the top 300 right he might play slams soon but like uh just just the attitude to like sort of take it step by step not really like you know put that much pressure on himself um these are things that maybe you don't see on the court uh not necessarily you know not yet but these are things that could definitely give you like yeah just
