well through the first couple of games you guys have been pretty stout against the passing game talk a little bit about the mindset that the corners have this year especially after what you heard happened the last couple of Seasons uh we're just locked into the key details this year you know I just feel like as this Corner Room continues to grow and learn from each other every day that we're just going to stay focused in on the key details and we do that we're going to be just fine every game we'll go second row on the left side to Alex and then to TV row yeah first can just take us through that interception you got and just the feeling you had when you got it uh it was electric you know like my man ran a mes route I ended up seeing the quarterback throw the ball so I broke off of my man and just so happily luckily it got tipped and I was in the area so it was just amazing to get my first pick here yeah then you know you guys have talked about creating turnovers didn't get any last week just how it feel to be having some opportunistic football you know catching tip passes and and whatnot today uh it's just what we emphasized through practice all week like we need to start working on turning the ball over attacking the ball when it's in the air so I just feel like starting from practice on Monday we just focused in on that and it related to the game we'll go back behind the lights on the left side to Parker and then Tyler obviously right right back here obviously defense you know creating turnovers but really just kind of flying around all afternoon what was the level of intensity you think when you guys stepped out on the field was there almost the chip on your shoulder to kind of show you know the talent that was on the field yeah I just feel like we were capable of doing that all all week and all last week you know we just ended up having to settle down and practice and realize who we are as a team and what we're capable of and that really showed this uh today actually and then it just showed that we're really a real disciplined team and we play fast and we do what we're supposed to do we're going to be fine we'll move to the middle to Tyler will what kind of differences in in the play of the secondary did you see from you know tonight to or to last week uh I feel like we're more aggressive we're more communicative we're more talking we're just doing everything right and we're supposed to play fast and play at 100 100% every day so us being there tonight or this morning we just ended up being more focused in more locked in on everything we're supposed to do and then I feel like that just showed in our play today we'll go on the far left to Donna and then Ben well how much do you yeah how much do you feel like uh having a couple actual games under your belt with this defense uh that you guys are maybe even jelling a little bit more uh together now having played in this atmosphere and how do you think that'll translate into SEC play next week uh just being around everybody and just understanding what we're capable of and like who we're playing with and what guys are going to do just learning that feeling of family environment on the defense that just carries a lot through everything so us coming in SCC play like we're playing in Gainesville it's going to be a loud stadium and we know how Florida gets and I just feel like us being together as a family and understanding what we're going to do and what tempo and what speed we're going to play at we'll be fine we'll move to the far right of TV Road toan hey will just between yourself you know a bunch of other new guys in the program obviously the new coaches seems like y'all have done pretty good in terms of you know not allowing really many busted coverages through these first two weeks and you're flying around making plays in The Run game I guess what would you attribute that to being able I imagine being a secondary maybe one position group where even when you want to go and make a play Maybe back to your mind you're like am I letting somebody go how have you been able to kind of do that as a as a unit you think uh we just emphasized like knowing what this secondary was last year wasn't that the place they wanted to be just coming in just understanding that we need to focus on the pass game and let the Run come to us you know so we play the pass first we do what we're supposed to do in that pass game area and then it just makes it real easier to fit in on the runs we'll go fourth throw on the left side to Luke and then Alex well with the complimentary football today in what ways do you think y'all kind of gain momentum from when the offense does want the field and then kind of vice versa like do you feel like y'all's success on defense really kind of give some momentum to the offense as well uh we go hand in hand you know like the offense gives us energy we give the offense energy like they score that gets the defense hype and we're going to go out there and force turnovers and when we do that the offense is in good position to go score and it just goes hand in hand with each other we go second row on the left side Alex I guess first just from your vantage point being on the sideline what was it like seeing the the all walk-on kickoff team run out there in the second half oh yeah so I ended up seeing that last year on social media so being the first time here seeing it firsthand just seeing my guys out there go crazy and make plays on kickoff like it was real exciting for me I was happy for him and then just overall as a team you know what what do you guys take from a game like this knowing that it gets real next week uh with conference Play Starting uh I I truly believe like we were supposed to come out here and do what we were supposed to do and that just shows like what type of team we are so when it comes to SEC play like we're supposed to lock in and get serious at this point and then we're supposed to play hard play fast and then we do all that we're going to be fine all right it looks like that's all we have thank you well yep thank you
