week nine of the Vikings franchise welcome back in y'all to another episode tough loss last week against the Rams very disappointing typical way to lose a game we were up 27 to 17 and then we ended up giving up 14 uh straight points to the Rams and they won the game 31 227 the most Vikings way ever to lose the game so we're 42- one this season it's a we got a big match up this week though we got five and three Indianapolis so two teams that are eyeing for the playoffs we are back at home though which is nice I'm going to go ahead and get into our weekly strategy and then we'll touch base here on injury report all right shoulder strain for Blake brandell so he's going to miss this one are we already are we missing both our cards now both our right guards um I don't know let's that's why I wanted to touch on the injury report here because I need to do a better job of getting an idea of who we're missing every week um yeah Ed Ingram is missing this week and Blake brenell's both missing this week so we're going to have to move some people around the offensive line um because obviously darol we know is missing next three weeks and then uh DAV quary as well is hurt so we have four offens linemen hurt great our only upgrade from the training was Dallas turner He's going to be getting up to an 83 overall we're going to do power rusher I'm just going to keep balancing back and forth between power rusher and speed rusher for him just so he can be the most all round pass pressure he can possibly be um what's he at see A3 power moves A2 finesse yeah we're just going to keep going back and forth want to see that block shedding get up too he's the only got 75 block shed right now all right let's go ahead and get into this game against Indianapolis I did change change uh my passing roster is not me we have to sign a Right Guard oh my goodness that's annoying we're going to have to move some okay so we're going to have to move someone off the team and bring up a Right Guard or we can just change someone's position we'll probably just do that if it'll let me can we if we [Music] move I'm just going to make Dani Right Guard for now because yeah we I don't want to have to cut some muddy so hopefully just moving fi over to Right Guard will be fine um and then we won't to worry about it so Dan is going to move over to Right Guard that should uh that should obviously uh fill that void right there let's go make sure I adjust the lineup quick yeah it's fine so Ryner and feny on both sides yeah gosh this is so bad this is so bad right now 60 overall ralter Rous playing left tackle our offens line is just cooked but what I was going to say as we get into this game I did change my um passing to revamp passing which is the passing in college football so hopefully I'll feel Maybe a little bit more comfortable throwing the ball compared to um it's been because I'm now really familiar with the uh revamp passing through playing a lot of college football so hopefully that works out just like it does in college football and Madden all right boys we are underway 5 and3 Indianapolis 42 and one Minnesota and this is a big game for us this is like you know cuz this if we could move to four3 and one we're kind of on that cuss of like kind of a kind of a playoff Contender kind of not right now um we win this game though it just keeps us Keeps Us above that line of feeling confident about being a playoff team ARS numbers this year 1,618 yards 11 touchdowns seven interceptions we got to make sure we do our best to keep him inside the pocket make him make plays downfield we don't want him hurting us with his legs he does have a big arm does have a big arm but maybe he can have some accuracy issues every once in while as well he's as he's going over the top on the first play and Michael pitman's going to score literally does the oh my goodness great start Vikings great start defense literally said let's keep him inside the pocket make him make throws downfield he does have a big arm boom over the top of Michael Pitman as we tra 7 nothing and we're only 13 seconds in one play nice as here comes out our starting quarterback Sam darnold um had some good had some bad this year 1,6 1,665 yards couldn't think 16 touchdowns and seven interceptions for Sam IAM so far this year Aaron Jones also having really good year for us as we're going to get to him here on the first play of our drive yeah he's been he's I think he's I swear he probably has like oh nice as he's getting a big run right away he's got to have like over 500 yards for sure like he's he's got I feel like he's averaging right around probably pretty close to 100 yards a game on the ground along with he's getting he's been scoring like every game as well so got to continue to keep him going as we're going to get to him on the ground here again only pick up of two this time but yeah you can see we did last week 22 carries 152 yards in a touchdown he's having a great year for us all right first pass of our drive we'll see how this revamp passing works we got we got Jefferson over the top I already like it I already love it I already love the ramp passing I'm able to float that over the top to J Jets I love it we might be able to throw the football now more consistently with Arnold we already could have we already threw the ball relatively okay but might be able to place the ball better now with Sam it's going to make everything better and then imagine JJ next year with it Aaron Jones juke move to the outside use your speed Aaron Aaron Jones touchdown Stewart Malik Reed zier Franklin EJ speed Corners you got Kenny Moore SL Corner Isaiah Rogers and Julius Brent on the outside Justin Simmons at free safety and Julian Blackman yeah this team is really good this is a really good Colts team as we know we definitely got our work cut out for us here today I don't think John Taylor hasn't got a touch yet I mean they've only played a couple plays first touch for Jonathan Taylor and it's Cashman and pace and Co we swarmed to the ball and now we have third and four chance for our defense to get off the field get it back into our offense's hands here it's got to be a pass there's no they run in on third and four BSE start back him up back him up back him up good let's go well if there's any doubt that they were going to throw the football on third and four there's no way they're yeah I saying there's no way they're going to run the ball now underneath we got to make that tackle we're not going to get it couldn't tackle Taylor before the line for the first down and Colts will continue their drive here man is this just going to be like a high score Affair cuz our defense can't get a stop outside to Josh DS again only pick up with three down for the Colts and if you guys are watching this the day it comes out um this is the first weekend of Vikings football so in real life this should be coming out on Saturday Vikings will be playing the Giants here on Sunday so if you're excited for the Vikings football baby hit the like button boys skull Vikes looking forward to this season um obviously the JJ McCarthy thing is definitely really unfortunate because if darnold isn't you know decent we don't really have our backup plan like we had the plan with JJ but you know what did they just call roughing the passer why what are we we're so undisciplined Jerry till what are you doing but yeah what I was saying was I mean either way I'm excited for this season I mean we got our weapons on offense are good defense should be even more improved another year under Flores with some uh key additions and everything so as long as darl can be decent we have to pick that thank you Makai Blackman thank you let's go I probably shouldn't have taken out of the end zone but it's okay I got excited Makai Blackman with a big time interception getting us the ball back and we'll take over back on offense but yeah really looking forward to this going to go seven and 10 this year um that's my gu yes and at the end of the day with the Vikings this year I just want us to be just in the hunt for a while like I don't want the SE I don't want to be like one in five and then being like oh great well basically unless we have some miraculous um comeback down the stretch to win games we're already out of the playoffs so I just want to be competitive throughout the year so that way I can enjoy like truly enjoy watching the Vikings all year and every game's kind of meaningful I just don't want them to be like one in five and it's like well great season's over first play here of the second quarter there's nowhere to go we're just going to yeah get rid of that man Colt's playing good defense we had that that first drive felt good but
