recalled more than 9,500 cases of apple juice over the fears could contain arsenic the FM Drug Administration has announced that the retailers at Great Value brand sixpack 8 O apple juices plastic bottles have elevated levels of uh arsenic in them the recall juice have a best of use date by December 28th 2024 and a uspc of 0- 78742 29 656555 D5 the recall was initiated on August the 15th and the water later classified as a class two recall on Friday by the FDA a class two recall is a situation which use of or exposure of uh violate product may cause temporary or medical uh re reversible adverse Health consequences or whereare the probability of serious adverse Health consequences is remote in the US stores are in Alabama Connecticut Delaware District of Colombia Florida Georgia Illinois Indiana Kentucky Maine Maryland Massachusetts Michigan Mississippi New Hampshire New Jersey New York North Carolina Ohio Pennsylvania Puerto Rico Rhode Island South Carolina Tennessee Vermont Virginia and my state of West Virginia so the recalled apple juice the FDA and the juices have arsenic levels of 13.2 per billion last last year the agency announced that the limit for arsenic should be about 10 parts per billion in apple juice arsenic is a natural occurring element often found in Earth's crust but it's toxic for humans so I wanted to get that out there to you guys to start this
