KATHLEEN KENNEDY DONE? KATHY NOT GETTING A FULL EXTENSION?

again isn't that great let's go that's well that's why I'm here I told you I'm an expert I I could sum up the stream uh zo Kathleen Kennedy's fa movie is not being made uh she's being fired uh whoa what really no I think that's what she's waiting to leave on potentially I mean are you saying that's a high note for her well yeah here's here's here's three things you want me to go right off the bat three reasons I think here go the news about Kathy Kennedy well first off as far as we know right now the scoopers and the reports are saying she is on until Quarter Two of 2025 at least because of unannounced projects or whatever but it's not and they and you know what Lucas film could uh well first off I don't think Iger wants this out a three-year extension for Kathy Kennedy hitting the news because I don't think that would help the stocks the stocks have been going completely up since uh that one guy that wanted to take over left the ComicCon and d23 events they've been going up up up and they have some really good strong box office right now I don't think now is a good time to announce an extension for Kathy Kennedy does that mean she can't continue as the president for interim until they find someone else no it does not so you cannot extend her and then you can have her still be until there's a replacement and then you could get star there's the three things that I think are going to happen happen what Kathy wants before she leaves and I think they're going to accommodate it I think they're going to accommodate it one is I don't think she's going to leave without Star Wars being in the theaters again so Star Wars going to be in the theaters again two I don't think she's going to leave until she definitely gets the ball rolling on a woman director directing a Star Wars movie for theatrical not Disney plus and three uh I think she wants to bring back the sequel Trilogy in some way and one of the most liked characters besides kylo which Adam Driver says he's not going to come back people like kylo really KY people like kylo more than Ray dude come on God Dam I got a helmet in my damn closet man kylo yes but the next one is Ray Ray so I think I've only seen like one or two kylo Ren cosplayers since I've been going to cons okay so those are the I got the pattern in my closet dude I started I I got wool I got different kind a thread I got a sewing machine I was going to make that [ __ ] and then my I started do my back hurt yes you can sew yes I again up yeah so I think those are the three things that are going to happen will make a great house husband for anyone looking shut up no d i I think I think that's the only way she's gonna leave is is Star Wars movie Act and that's not that's not hard because Star Wars is definitely going to be back can make a live action star the mandal movie and I was right again saying as far as we know no I was right uh why am I on the bottom Brian that's fine you cover me up with text I was no I was right when I said as far as we know that they're I do not believe this version of Disney Star Wars can handle both a Mandalorian movie and a show season at the same time they're going to either Swit do one or the other never said it was any good so I believe that you're gonna get the Mandalorian movie and then Ahsoka and that will also help not split the views between having mandalorean next season and well that's another show that uh I am not participating in there go well I I hear your reasons I hear you Max yeah but at the same time and I think it might be JJ did you just say watch a show Star Wars show Max hm did you say you're not gonna watch a star show no I didn't say that I said I said the when they were saying that there's going to be a Mandalorian movie and a season I said I don't think this version of Lucas film is capable films officially said they were they were going to be a movie and a show at the same time I think you're confusing an official announcement with what the scoopers are saying Max but you know you do this all the time is from Star Wars celebration becomes your head canning all the time just like the acolyte did Kathy Kennedy say canel no did Kathy Kennedy say the acolyte was canceled no it came out from a source that then conf Lucas film confirm so until until what Kathy does it's not cancelled so anyway it is can it got it got soft canell right and they might here here's another thing just just just like just like the SN got canell excellent segue Brian because it could actually be canceled or or they did this fast and quick to get a fan movement to bring back the next season and act like they're act like they're listening to the fans just like James turfing I had an excellent prediction back on my channel you could check it I said no's going when they fired James gun I said that they do it this quick so they could rehire him later and create a buzz and a movement and act like you're working with your audience and your customers yes so potentially it could actually be cancelled but this also could be a good start to a movement to actually bring the acolyte back for season two DL is on board with me thank you DL so like I was saying before I was interrupted by Max okay you know I think I think Kathleen Kenny was ready to retire this year after her contract was up ready to reti and they and they begged her to come back for another few quarters you know how much power that woman has thank you m they to come back and pick her successor and then at that point that's when she becomes CEO of Disney as a whole and you know who was they all looking for a CEO you know who was supposed to be the successor Michelle rean from Bad Robot one of the producers that worked very close with JJ she was supposed to help and now she's Brian so I I do think there's a strong possibility JJ Abrams could be the especially since right now they're negotiating through the the press for him to be get sign a new deal with Warner Brothers and it doesn't look like there's no bites right now I I'm gonna be fair I don't want that I don't want JJ to take over anything well um I'm good rather have J would you rather have Kathy continue than JJ no I'd rather have John favro or somebody like that take over somebody who's already kind of been put in that position to where it's like hey guess what B Boop we're we're in oh I'd be sold on John fa he's got the job but they could have done that already no I'm just saying they're waiting for his contract to run out and then just think of the Optics dude if they fired her no no no dude they're not gonna fire her they're just going to let her contract run out just like just like the eite they're gonna they're going to expire it and people are going to be like oh my God she was fired no she just wasn't picked up it's just like Henry cow okay he just wasn't he wasn't he wasn't brought on triggering Words out there I'm just saying he wasn't he wasn't extended he didn't get fired they just didn't bring him back from more Superman semantics guys semantics but no at the end of the day at the end of the day we're gonna get a continuation of the story and that's all I really want okay I that's a project that he started so if they were going to transition to him even though I I'm all for him a lot of Star Wars fans are and they talked about in the past that would be the perfect opportunity to transition to John favro if he wanted it if they wanted him when the Mandalorian hits the theaters why wouldn't that noes it makes good sense and like I said if not him there's another guy who's done a lot of work with him uh by the name of Dave filon so he could also potentially take over so there's people they could co- do it they could do who are waiting in the wings you know that that are just you know it it'll happen it'll be a smooth transition of power it's not going to be crazy it's gonna be good it's GNA be fine everybody's gonna be happy and we're gonna get plenty of Star Wars years come I'm just talking about on that end the fans know there's you'll never find consensus or happiness I think this is this job be the hardest job to fill of any job because of because of the fans oh no we'll be making IR that's every that's every fandom right now no no no Star Wars is a special case they are stars is a very special Cas ESP who kind of stupid that's what with special editions it's called burn rate you when you have a IP you try to do something new with it and fresh to get new customers but you but you don't want to and you're it's okay that you're going to burn some customers but the I think the burn rate's too high on some of these IP you know and it's it's always the same argument the writing's bad um you're messing with the the canning of the characters you're making this character insignificant and I'm trying to recapture my childhood with these these movies that are 40 years old stop just stop and no no and that now I'm sorry that's let me make another statement sorry I'm tired of 40 somethings bitching about getting their childhood I'm tired of people getting upset that other people are getting upset if you I I say to both of anything or heard anything about John faf I was just throwing that name out there um so I don't really I can't speak on that uh but then there's also like I said Dave Fon who also has been kind of set up in that position by the man himself uh George Lucas so but at the same time people did not like um the writing for so good didn't like the last season of Mando okay and it was all daony so I I I don't know it's it's it's people wanton it for a long time and since projects haven't been well received lately I don't know if this will go over well with fans but you know how it is well okay let's be fair though I mean felon's projects they're not they're not as well known as the rest of it like the big guns I mean Ahsoka had some of the best numbers but still not as well known as the main character trilogies yeah you know Ahsoka is based off of a character from a cartoon that not not let's let's face it not a lot of your hardcore sweaty Star Wars fans actually watched sweaty star you know the ones that the ones that they they complain and do all this kind of crap I know they didn't watch Rebels so the whole Sabine Arc was just foreign to them so it was just like dude we're at the point now where if you don't take in a lot of the Star Wars some of it's going to go over your head and yes I feel like that was probably one of the problems with a couple of those shows is that they went over people's heads that don't take in everything that don't watch every every freaking show like d i watch Rebels I I I sat there and I watched it along with uh collider guys you remember that crap it was fun to actually do that stuff because people enjoyed talking about the show it was it was amazing I missed that uh yeah I I we'll have to see well I think they may be also waiting to see about the Mandalorian trailer and release and how that movie does to uh to see if if he translate to success if if that if that movie does well does better than solo I would think you know uh gets profitable then I think there'll be a future I would think he was up be up for too but then I know there's a lot of filon Skeptics no he sums up what I was basically trying to say filon is good at what he does but what he does is it's a bit Niche thanks K I appreciate that no trust me I I miss that too from what from what I've heard from a very Rel take over a very reliable source um they were actively looking for directors for the alkalite up until two or three weeks and apparently it's being not continued as alkalite and repackaged rebranded and being turned into something else that's that's pretty much what's I honestly that's what I figured was GNA happen when they said that because I mean they don't have to do anything called the acolyte anymore because they've already they've already not alal anymore is she she one she's not an acolyte anymore so you don't have to call season two okay call it something completely different have the same people in it or or better yet give us a high Republic movie you know I think that would be kind of cool called The Tragedy of Darth plagas this is an excellent comment from Blue Jay and I I want to give my take on it do you think Star Wars has a niche problem as fans don't want that look at Marvel they have properties from them that popular but not always well known to the general public outside the MCU here's what I think I think the mainline Star Wars the trilogies are epic they're like Lord of the Rings for sci-fi fans you know I mean Lord Ling's light they're not as you know you know what I mean but you have stories within Star Wars that are smaller that are but you have to scale them you have to say what is this story not every story is going to be epic and and scale them down budget wise in expectations you know just like Marvel not everything is The Avengers not everything is endgame uh now most Marvel still does pretty well but you have to be realistic you have I think they need to do better looks at well this is a b-tier Star Wars project or a c-tier even and still go with them but adjust the budget accordingly adjust the budg according because not everything is going to be the Epic Trilogy billion doll movies you're speaking about Star Wars in terms of Marvel when it comes to their characters ABC tier Star Wars is a totally different animal there's OG Star Wars and then there's Legends which Brian referenced earlier where these are known to hardcore fans but not to the general public these hardcore fans so these hardcore fans these are top tier characters they want to see in live AC I'm even saying right Brian Oh no you're not wrong we've had I've been on many many streams where it's it happens like that no just think I think there's a little bit different um in terms of recognizability it's it's exactly like uh Bruce said what they're doing with those characters is they're they're cherry-picking the ones from Legends you know and giving us a few here and there and and and and Building stories around them with new characters uh which is which is really good um where Kathleen Kennedy says there's no Source material for what they do she was right in a sense that there is no specific Source material because you can't use Legends books for anything correct because because they're all over the damn place so yes you can use you can use a a story element here and there from it as long as it doesn't screw up what you're trying to work on you know and then you also you got to think about rights issues where you got to pay that person who created that character there's a reason why we don't have certain characters so it's like n it's all right let them do well if you look you know I mean just let him cook um Brian there's one name that keeps being repeated in the fandom but over and over and over again and you know that name and it this character will never be in main no marage will never be marage aade correct okay but no um but to to add on to what they were saying though yes it does have a niche problem and it has even worse problem because Star Wars itself let's face it I don't think it's a problem if you're realistic about each but I mean you're comparing if you're comparing that that to Marvel yes which has crossed the mainstream threshold tenfold in recent memory Marvel's more popular than Star Wars right now way more popular so when you talk about these shows nobody's gonna know about them yeah and and see the thing is that Vince the only people who would know about Revan as a character are Star Wars fans that's it and not only that but the Star Wars fans that read those books so you got to think that's a very small segment of that group I want not everybody read those Old Republic books not everybody played those games D says this I read this is why we need to skip thousand years I was trying to get for like minut you and Brian are God damn it I was trying to get comment in for let me let me let me take this one I was gonna say something about it so D you talked enough so d as I was saying ear I've just got back to the internet Star Wars Star Wars fans they want they want everything under the sun until they get it when when Lucas film has been expanding the the the universe with characters from Legend I'm gonna forget what the the the solar system what he you know it's it's not all about that but then when you when these fans get something new new characters a new storyline all they want to do is go back to Luke Han and Leia and think over and over it's a it's no I think it's Lucas film I think scath Kennedy in this version of Lucas film never get the great clue and what they're going to think about the accolate is not the failure because it wasn't a lot good in a lot of people's eyes I think was great but people a lot of people didn't think it they're going to say they still want the Skywalker stuff that's where they're going to overcorrect just like after solo not that we messed up the production of solo they don't want to you don't my God if people still want the sky you don't want to re you don't want to re you don't want to do recast so now you're going to do CGI characters okay so they're going to overcorrect this time too they wanted to see Skywalker event I I bet I bet you on it yes I think they I think they learn with the Jedi that stopped listening to the fans the fans are morons hardcore fans are morons and he you don't listen fans God you want to insult more people that are potential viewers WB listen to the fans and look what happened there listening to fans homage to something that happened before another death star uh more younglings dying and a new young Jedi rebuilding the Jedi Order so yes it would beaz happened before in movies what who's rebuilt the order Luke did right at after the return of the jet not in the movies but that's what happened between okay Mr nerd take this one I can't right now after the Jedi cigarette after the Return of the Jedi and all the way up to the Last Jedi Luke rebuilt the Jedi Order and it went Bound in Flames what's happening at the end of the Sky Rise of Skywalker is going to do the same thing I will argue as long as we actually get to see it um different get that off my face as long as they're not talking God damn uh anyways but yeah no D i' say it's it's arguably different everybody just sit back relax if they were gonna bring Mara J into the Star Wars Cinematic Universe should have been brought in 20 30 years ago right right they could still bring and Lucas should I'm not should never stop making movies after the prequels exactly no dude I'm good hindsight being 2020 I don't work there it's not my job on the line I'm just a consumer of entertainment okay so it's my job to consume all right maybe every once in a while I'll complain to the chef if I don't like what you know they're bringing to me not every time CU you know the more you manager I mean honestly if you complain every time why it's not the theater that is not an excuse that is not an excuse at all half of these books you know I you could put every TV show on on television into a movie theater Max um but let's see here I've got we we'll kind of go through some of my Audi books here um I've been listening to Darth plag so that's um dude Star Wars audio books are freaking amazing um they have sound effects and all kinds of crap music um they do different voices it's actually like listening to a you know a little movie so are that people really want us to talk about Star Wars shadow of the Sith Star Wars shadow of the Sith we'll talk about Sonic just relax uh Star Wars shadow of the Sith guys uh this is the story of raised parents okay dude very important nobody gave a crap uh Star Wars bloodline talks about how the Galaxy finds out about re reay's or sorry Princess Leia's parentage okay yeah they knew about her mama they know about her daddy oh Lordy when they find that one out think about it okay then I got all the Harry Potter books because I love Harry Potter um some survival uh Slash um nuclear apocalypse books oh Star Wars Brotherhood that's another one um that's the story about Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker you know a little little little play back and forth between them little stories that they tell that you can get guys and we had video games that were Cannon for the last couple believe uh star Gladiator sequel Capcom versus sk2 yes Power Stone is an amazing game suck you're gonna suck if they if they made this and it has online play with Power Stone oh my God I have to do research if this game has power if this has this hasn't been online I don't even know if it was online in the Dreamcast they have other games that they had online versus if they have power Stone online this is going to be amazing um okay they need to bring this series back they need to be power stone three we can play when you come here this is this is the street fighter 30 Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection that is not the Dreamcast version stream Fighter Alpha 3 is on this game I just beat it plasma sword oh God I hated this game it's so bad oh oh I like I like Star Gladiator experiment but you should go get it while you can cuz PE resellers are selling them online for $100 so look at your Walmarts go to the horror section it's not in the electronics where they have like blind bags and fun Co and look for terrifier 2 VHS for 15 bucks it used to be 30 half off is a steep production that makes me think that they're not going to do it again so it's also really collectible unfortunately if they do not continue to produce new VHS it's going to be the only Mass Market VHS done since in America since like 2004 and this might be a oneand done so I'm serious look out for your Walmarts because the resale Market is going to go through the roof especially now that they're being clearanced out all those resellers are going to snag them up yes yes def definitely go check out your Walmarts I haven't checked out Walmart yet and I actually want to I want to give terrifier a shot and see if I can handle it I know that's I know people said it's extreme uh Zeno says I collect coal things not videotapes videotapes are worth it even for the cardboard cover it's like a mini poster some of the time um I'm doing this you can't handle it okay I'm going to love yes uh do anymore it's going to be very expensive in the future so this is when it was $29.98 it's $4.99 now so interesting collector's edition VHS it's two tapes it's an actual VHS tape that you can watch so they this the the company that did it produces them online but none of them made it this is the first one they tried at retail and I don't think it succeeded why would they reduce this right before Halloween that's very unfortunate so um oh somebody it's a graded one on on eBay yeah well perp you have limited time and if you find one get me another one and I'll pay you back like if anyone finds me one I will pay them back I I just I just haven't been to Walmart you know uh yeah there's a bumblebee promotional vs tape but it that wasn't Mass Market Joe though this is mass Market Walmart and just say I'm just letting it know there not coming out with Xbox it will eventually no it's not probably digitally but um the programmers are having problems with making it um for Xbox S and what's the low tier one s that is the low tier one no no they're actually having problems it's some type of bug that's making it hard for them to gam to Xbox because of both of them okay all right even though the Xbox emulates everything great so I don't understand that I believe you but I don't understand that because they they had the Nintendo a lot of games have been skipping the Xbox lately yeah horror film family hor that's interesting monster summer Stars Mason themes of the black film as young boy who comes to suspect that a supernatural entity is hunting the children Martha's Vineyard so he seeks the help of an aging detective for many viewers the actor playing the Aging detective will be the main selling point in the movie It's Mel Gibson monster summer will be aimed at younger audience and here's the terrifier terrifier 3 theatrical October 11th I don't know smile to man there's a lot die alone Salem's loot man you know does not you don't have to limit horror during the the
