Hello, Hello, HelloWelcome everyone to the Football Amigos show. Yes, it's your boy Mide back. Amigos, it's good to have you all back again. We're excited to have another wonderful show for you. We're going to talk about predictions for Week 3 coming up big game this coming weekend, Manchester United versus Liverpool. Not looking forward to it, to be honest, but we'll dive into that more. And of course, the transfer window is ending very big, not doing this in the soccer world in terms of you buying players or loaning players and all of that good stuff or selling players as the case may be. So we're going to dive into that as well too. And of course, amigos, like, share, subscribe, give us your comments abouthow you've enjoyed the week 2 games. We're getting up to week 3 predictions. Arsenal is playing Brighton at 6:30am in the morning. Ayo is going to be bright and early watching that game. Amigos, join him as well. That will be an interesting tactical game that I would love to hear Ayo's perspective on and I would love to watch from a coaching standpoint as well. We also have Liverpool, of course, playing Manchester United on Sunday. September 1st. That will be an interesting game and a quick shout out to Chelsea. They are playing Crystal Palace as well. That Sunday. Ayo Arsenal, Brighton predictions. Arsenal 2 nil, 3 nil. Yeah, yeahWow. Yeah, I think they will be so boring this season. Like really so boring. Like if we're if we're if Brighton was we're at home, I'd be worried a little bit. But Brighton coming to us, I think we just manage him. We'll take that energy and we'll we'll just smother it. I really do think like and and again it's like every time I see that the team sheet like it's no, it's no dis disrespect to the quality of Brighton in the same way it's no disrespect to the quality of Aston Villa or even Wolves to be begin with. It's just the understanding that that that whatever it is mentally that part has been figured out. Like and so so in that, in that, in that way, I just, I don't know. That's how I feel. We got to play. I think it's be the easiest of the five games. So we we had Wolves and that was the first game of the season. What's it called?So that was going to be nerves. Aston Villa is just a really good team. So you don't know what you're going to get. We're going to play Tottenham after. What's it called? Brighton away and we're going to play Man City away. Sam, you seem to have something to say about what Ayah just said before we moved to the 10, the 10:00 AM game on Sunday, Manchester United versus Liverpool. Thoughts on what Ayah just mentioned before we give you prediction?As a non Arsenal fan, I am more worried about Brighton over Tottenham. I don't know why. I think if I can chip in my prediction, I think. The game against Brighton is probably going to be a tie. Brighton play the same way they play against Man United, the same formation. I can see a tie and James Milner scores in that game. Oh wow, the old guard. I think it's going to be a draw as well too. It's actually going to to me. I think it's going to be a fascinating game to watch tactically as well, Sam. Manchester United, Liverpool. I already know what you're going to say, but I would let you know. I'll let you talk to the amigos thoughts. I had a question earlier. I had a question. How confident are you going to that game?I'm not. I'll be honest. I love my team, but I'm not confident at this point. Old Trafford, Old Trafford, come on. Yes, we'll have the fans in our backs. Yes, we will have the roar of the Stratford and helping us out in that game. What would determine my full confidence is his starting lineup. That's what I want to see at this point. There are players there ready to play and play to this new system that he's trying to implement. He just needs to pick them and let them play. I don't think Bruno should be taken off unless he's absolutely, absolutely tired. I just feel like maybe a draw. maybe or something surprising where we win at 2-1, but I think Liverpool score first. I I hope we win, but I need to see his his predictions in his starting lineup at first. So I think it's going to be a 1-0 win for Liverpool and Mo Salah scores. Interesting predictions. Of course, Amigos, let us know your predictions for those three games as well. Quick highlight for Chelsea at 7:30 AM playing Crystal Palace. Crystal Palace hasn't necessarily started well this season, but they've kept this information. And I think right now, from what I've seen with their game, they're not as bad as when they started last season. They're actually better than when they started last season. Of course, they got better and even way better towards the end of last season. I think there's some personal changes that Crystal Palace can make. to fit that game. I know the bodies, from a transfer window standpoint, that I think should be starting ahead of Kamada and, of course, partnering with Mateta and also Eze. I think if they can have those three play regularly, I think there will be something there from a Google standpoint. In terms of Chelsea, I don't know who is going to start that game. I would predict they start the second team that started that second-half game first. and just see what happens there. But moving on to transfer windows. So Amigos, every season there's a transfer window that starts in the summer and in the winter. The summer transfer window goes from June the 1st to August the 31st into September the 1st. And then there's a winter transfer window that opens from January 1st to February 1st. There's been a lot of transfer window already doneI'll like some of our amigos, of course. Ayo, we'll start with you. Any major transfer window from an Arsenal standpoint that you think will have a positive or negative impact on your team this season?Positive or negative? Well, we've we've let quite a few players go in specific positions. We let Emil go full for permanently. We let Viera go on loan. And it looks like in Katia is on his on his way out. If a a deal can be agreed with Crystal Paz, speak of the devil, we definitely need a winger. I'm not 100% sure on Martinelli's confidence and his decision making and Trossad's physicality is a liability and I think we need to find some ball. They're ball carriers like. You see?When he carries the ball, you see. I mean, Neto did that really well. You can see that when he when he carries the ball, you're like we just need really good, confident ball carriers that can actually like dribble their way out of problems. And I don't think we have that per se. And so apparently we're looking at Lukman, the Nigerian winger from Atalanta. Uh I don't know if we have enough time to get his get terms agreed. So in all likelihood we we won't see a new new addition. But that's the only thing that that makes me worried. I'm not worried about a striking position and everything past that is solid. It's just a question of if we can we can get a a a really good ball carrier as our left winger, someone who can who can actually destabilize a defense, someone who actually has cause Martinelli. Before his last season had really, really good outcomes on one V ones, which is what we're looking for. You need to take on your your what's it called your the wing back beat him and either set up a a goal or or score and I think his confidence is down. I don't think that's Trussard's game. Trussard is is probably the guy who gives you that death pass while you're progressing the ball. But we actually need a carrier. And so hopefully if you can get Luke man like he's amazing. So I'll be happy with that. But if we can't then in Nartetta we trust I guess. Yeah. YeahWhat I what I what I am looking to see is to see if if Waneri would get games. So I think by letting Viera go by letting Emil Smith row go in between them they played about. I think 500 minutes. They said they played together over the course of the season. I'd like those minutes to go to Noar Neri and so we can see. I just bloody. I think he's, I think he's good enough to see like if he's ready to play at this level. Yeah, interesting thoughts. Amigo, Amir, Amigo, Ayo on that. Sam, Liverpool transfer window, any surprise in comings or outgoings from your perspective?None. And I am actually OK with not making any transfer. The more I look at the the squad, the more I get confident with the squad. Of course it's still one or two questions when it comes to the front, the forward, but I look at it if you keep jaw table. I was going to get to that. Yes, if we keep Joto busy, it'll be a good competition for Gapo. Let them compete for the, you know, the front four. I have Diaz, I have Gapo, I have Jota, I have Nunes, I have Salah. Avi Elliott can step in. So these are players that I wouldn't rate below 7 right now. So if they'd given me, if I can rate them as a eight, I have no problems with them. My defense is what I think we should maybe put a little bit of thought into, but if we who is that?If Trent leaves, it becomes a little bit of problem. The Van Dyke is good, but I just need to have a little bit of stability in that defense right now. But so far so good. Midfield is great front, nothing crazy. Yeah, defenses could be better. So overall, let's keep it as it is, save some money and we'll get better next season. I agree. From a Manchester United standpoint, we have bought well, unfortunately, some of them have been injuries and just the coach not using some of them to start games, but hopefully that will change in time. In terms of incoming, I'm looking forward to having Ugarte finally join the team. With the deal for McTominney to Napoli being approved as of today, we should see some movement on that front from an Ugarte standpoint from PSG going into Manchester United. I still think we should get a left back as well, maybe on loan before the last four days of transferring or five days of transferring still opening. And then I do understand this rumor of a swap deal between Sancho and Raheem Sterling. I don't know where that's coming from, but that's just going to make the the transfer window closing so interesting on that on on that 31st. So amigos, make sure you're locked in to the transfer window and enjoy the chaos that happens on that day because a lot of a lot of clubs are on the phone finalizing deals, sending those deals finalized to the FA to approve. It's always a fun Christmas time, I would say, in in the world of football. But those are my predictions. Get Ugarte in, get a left back on loan. If Sancho wants to stay, great. With Tony leaves, that's fine. And then we keep the team the way it is. That's what I would say. Amigos, we love-- You might need a Memphis de Pi back in the team. Man United is known for making decisions, stupid decisions. No, he's passed it. And we have, we have Xerxes, Holland, Holland's going to come back. We have the boy OB Martin, even though he's 16 and Sancho can't play false nine. He actually can. I would not play Radford there, but we have enough players to play that position. It's just depending on what the coach, what the coach wants. But amigos, we'd love to hear your thoughts about your transfer window buys. Highlight for Chelsea. They might be getting Osseman on loan. Yeah, but the way that he is, his ability to play really long direct passes into channels, Michael Carrick. Yeah, that would so help your wingers so well. And I was like, he would be so perfect. But I don't think you could afford him this this season. Like, but he if, if, if, if I was a Manuel fan, like just for what he wants and for for how Anton Hague wants to play, I think he he he would be perfect. Yeah, I agree with you. Sam, final thoughts.
