WHY ARE SPURS FANS FEELING CONFIDENT?

otherwise um many would be very disappointed I can assure you well there's been a bit of a rating sensation as you as you will discover um but um are you ready to go are you I am ready to rock and Rumble let shake the casbar let's illuminate the plan you're in the wrong show mate right um Hello everybody welcome back welcome to the Chris B and the boy Hotspur um because we have to give the man main man himself the top billing um some very positive comments about you I don't know what we we're gonna have to work on the um staff this we exceptional this can't go on but um yeah so well I think we should perhaps just chat about life in general because there's going to be fewer um downs and more UPS than there were about the game I've never seen um it sounds ridiculous I've never seen a fan based Turner so much since last week but um there's certainly been some um blood lesting going on after that game what what what are your immediate thoughts H Heaven helpers I was texting you throughout the game I was thinking how quickly did it take for us to turn on no no esito Santo yet this to have a free reign we can't talk honestly without the woke amongst us getting all upset about things but this bloke is woefully out of his depth and the longer we continue with him the closer we're going to be to a relegation battle as opposed to where we should be and that's chasing European football what I don't Friday I don't I I don't think you're exaggerating at all um one point of order I just want to put out before we get underway because this this was like a a stone in my shoe um last night I made the mistake of switching on to a football spaces on X who don't do it kids it's like a boiling Kettle in the kitchen don't reach out your mom was right there are dangers out there and you just need to heed her guidance um but there was a guy hosting this thing forgive me I don't know his name and it perhaps would be Unbecoming of me to to name and shame the plinth but what a pot plant he keps on going on about the 20 odd chances that totam hoser created against new Castle United and um for those of you and in fact it's free today free today lollipops and ice creams on my substack so you can get some of the best stats you're ever going to see it's very readable blah blah blah but those 20 20 odd chances you need to break them down and see what they actually meant because 20 sounds like we were just hammering the ball in from all directions it's not the case eight of those 20 were blocked and I can't emphasize enough how important this is it's a bit like saying it's raining but you've got an umbrella you only get wet if you remove the BR okay BR over our head if you like Newcastle had BR over their head eight shots were blocked six were off Target and five were saved so there were five actual chances of scoring a goal in that game so once you remove that oh yeah but we had loads of chances we just didn't finish our chances didn't take our chances that's not actually an accurate summation of the game for me I think there's two massive issues and I think there there there's nothing extravagant and new that I'm going to pull out of the Hat here I don't think he's up to the task the reason I didn't feel he was or I was suspicious that he was up to the task is because you got the J League you got the Scottish League and then you've got up there you've got the Premier League it has a reputation for a reason and I just don't see it I've got a quote from him kicking around somewhere I'll drag that out in fact let's drag it out now let's let's drag it out now um now this was before the game and this was to and I have to say the responsibility lies on on the guy that hits publish um this is Media misinformation it's from Dan kill Patrick the the other stillborn testicle in the um sack with the gold wi beer and and says this I certainly think that we've got a more well-rounded Squad to deal with Europe the extra games and whatever injuries we have that to me is just I can't even I'll reread it just in case you think I'm missing out some Salient like link up of of word play I certainly think we've got a more well-rounded Squad to deal with Europe the extra games and whatever injuries we had we didn't deal with with the Premier League on its own last term and we had better players so that makes no sense whatsoever um uh the suitability to the football want to play We're much better equipped for that so this is taking the SE the the the uh the the system as being far more important than the quality of the players which is the other side of it and this is the bit I'm going on about the media misinformation because what he actually says is I've always tried to build teams that will last over a cycle which is three four five years or if you're top it's a decade um and headline is Tottenham willing to play a longer game with transfer policies and POS kogu builds for fiveyear cycle which is not what he said it's totally misrepresenting what he said he was saying that the lifespan of a cycle of a team that's a squad that's functioning is between three and five years which I don't think you could disagree with so po gog's 55 59 at the moment so4 birthday is he he's not go get to see the cycle from birth to death by any stretch of imagination he's not going to see the cycle if he doesn't lift lift up his his eyeline from his shoes his postmatch pressor which lasted three minutes and 32 seconds or something I forget um was absolutely like suicide watch territory um I think we need to reflect on since 28th of December last year away games play 12 one two drawn four lost six in those 12 games clean sheets to conceded two plus goals on more than eight occasions so that shows any good team are built on certain foundations and they are a strong core so you got a good goalkeeper two or three good center backs and strength in the middle are holding midfielder we've got none of those but doing the same thing time and time and time again didn't somebody say that's idiotic yeah yeah I think that was yeah it the the deal with away away games is that um I don't need this going off every five seconds AP just for that the deal with away games is away away fans are like no other they are in my view the best best fans you'll ever find um they're always up for it they've traveled they're hardened they're a different different breed I think that this team is so soft that it performs best when it's got mommies and daddies and kiddies cheering for it and I'm going to say say it because it isn't racist that's where they come from where Korean people are holding up bits of paper that say can I have your shirt please I think this is the the crowd that this this group this performing troop of artists performs um to their highest standards um in front of you've also got obviously the the the factor of um you know like you don't want to lose at home that's that's a bit of a tough one to swallow but teams that are going to cut it teams are going to compete for Champion ships now please don't anybody listening to what I say edit what I say don't ignore the word championships competing turning up isn't competing this isn't St sn's um public school where everybody gets a medal for taking part in the The Egg and Spoon race competing for championships is being a relevant side that can take on just about anybody on their day uh and he's itching to get into Europe itching to play a better opponent and we've all done it as kids you go to the pub and there's a guy there who's like off a shovel playing pool and you will raise your game when you play him you play your mate Jeff that you play every bloody week and you will never improve as a pool player so that's the thinking behind the mentality the winning mentality of a football team and I just don't think these guys have got it we've traded down um and the quality is the absolute killer in in respect of all of this um and the one thing we need to point out is that he swapped out his Midfield yeah but let's first of all I'd say Polar Opposites we were away and lost and then immediately after our game I watched a team called Liverpool turn up at a stadium called Old Trafford Home of Manchester United yeah the difference was boys and men they turned up and destroyed Manchester United on their own pitch Tottenham would never turn up at an Old Trafford or Stanford bridge and Emer stadium and deliver that sort of accomplished um performance and the difference is men and boys they've got players for the now we're talking about this Cy 5year cycle where we're expecting embryos to um deliver performances which they're just not capable of you ask be quiet as well please H I have to just drop in a small apology that there I live on somebody else's working farm and this is a particularly busy time of the year although the longer the labor party are in power that the less will hear of that so there that's unusual though maybe maybe I haven't paid the rent for a while I don't know but um this is this is becoming quite a thing yeah well been true listen it's me we'll just talk over them but no I mean he he he he's he's he's traded down in all his positions um odbert that guy that you know people are cing over and everybody wants guys to do well let's not you know dress this down at all but he didn't he wasn't very effective at all um and he would like I say he if you look at who he took on his substitutions and I don't think he's particularly wise in in respect of the subs but he took off his best three best in inverted commas three midfielders there was no guy that had 90 minutes in him in the in against a team of the pocity of Newcastle this was not a great team we've played played three pretty dff sides everybody standing finishes Newcastle yesterday as you said they weren't great anybody with something about him and do you know what really piss me off bringing on Teo verer what did that man contribute absolutely nothing but Mikey Moore Mikey Moore who we are led to believe is the future of Tottenham he's not been any of the last three squads three games so far he's not featured at all yeah we bring on bring on a German 165 Grand a week what does he off offer absolutely bloody nothing I I think I think that's that's very unworldly of you I mean we're dealing with with a with a manager who is is beyond your understanding you know he's operating on a different plane um and I mean I I did I did a post before the game and it came as a bit of a shock to a lot of people including me but as I was doing it I was comprising the plausible 11 and I left out um Mickey van of and people go why have you lifted up I said if you look he's gone you know it's come out that he took a knocking training whatever it was and I put put Teo wner in as an attacker and one guy came up said what have you put te I said mate who else is there and in actual fact when when Andrew released the team six or seven minutes later he hadn't gone with either of them Teo or um he put He put um um Kulu in who had a pretty bloody unremarkable game um and he's actually suffering from because I know an is and I when I say I know because I'm watching the game he's moving Kulu around because he feels that he should get more out of him and that cutting in on the left hand side thing wasn't kidding anybody but Kulu as a result appears to have hared his IQ um and just isn't contributing as one would wish him to so what he was doing before which was very sort of uh I don't know how you describe it just sort of clunky mechanical on that right hand side he's not actually springing into much life either down the middle on those rare moments when he does get over to the left hand side but there's just something something else I picked up on yesterday and it will come from um our favorite our very own Alis gold but it was a um quote from POA cogley asked poast Cod about Ry drason I thought he was good R it was great opportunity to expose him I mean he's only 22 he's still a young man this is a man he played in the final of the European championship for his nation and played numerous games in Italy where it' have been sanero for AC Milan into Milan have been to um Juventus and played games we're trying to treat the lad as if he's a kid he's not his an experienced footballer he's only 10 months younger than Mickey vanderen and bear in mind this is said by a coach who's most precious item he has in his house is a WABE with go Tigers embroidered on the tummy you just thinkes this guy chat and then going even further back when giovan Lelo left recently he said that last season he was told by P Cog you're in my plans you go get minutes you're an important how many times did we see him we see Father Christmas more often and Easter bunny gave a run for his running didn't he you just think what is this bloke saying to his players and it's only a matter of time before these guys become disillusioned and start questioning the process because you got players like James Madison what was he doing yesterday knows he was so deep as I've said previously yeah but his best primary function and his best deployment is when he's on the edge of the Box behind the center forward linking play bringing people into the channels you can't have him so deep that he's almost a holding midfielder without the ability to tackle yeah just there were so many what why what we doing and how has he arrived at this conclusion I get the feeling that this that that that postu despite his age he's not old enough to be a true true one but I think he's quite a hippie I think he has this sort of free and easy hey man this is our you know this is the way we're going to play and it's all like to me to you I'm all responsible for the greater good man and it's all kind of groovy I mean Eric Dy whose reputation as a footballing um entity you know is questionable however he said and bear in mind he he he's the guy who spoke to the Press before about the training under both um um pochettino and under um Mourinho so he does talk it's not invented that that that an doesn't do much in the way tactical stuff and I have to say boy does it show yeah yeah I mean the set piece the set pieces and the defending and we always get into this same thing and it's like watching an Itchy and Scratchy cartoon I would describe it that you lose possession and there's plenty of hustles on a totland ball at the moment I have to say where where pressured losses are a in opposed to um Technical ineptitudes and then it's Helter Skelter everybody chasing back down the other end of the pitch and if Newcastle had had any wit about them because I'm not being funny but jolon and the the other guys they had up front weren particularly great and I'd fear for them looking forward down the season because they don't appear to have any natural born killers they they don't look to me like a a team that's going to score a lot of goals this year and it was one of the reasons they they just stumbled into their position last season but if you play somebody half good this helter pter you know herum scarum everybody back quick Lads blow the whistle it's not good enough that standard of football that technique of football isn't good enough at this level so I'm just I'm I'm slightly terrified you know because I know we've got a great audience here there's no two ways about it because the amount of nitwits that pop up is has been increasing since the first day I did it but we've all worked with managers with people who tell the last person they spoke to what that person wanted to hear they don't have a clear personality a clear defined understanding of who they are as a man if you like now that might sound a bit like w but instead of addressing everything from the same perspective sometimes with an you're hearing the ah well that's how we did it around the campfire in uh you know wherever and then the other time you you're getting ly speak and I don't think that he has um I don't think he has a grip on who he is I think clearly he we he came with all this and there's a book written about him um you know an ball and clearly has this technique and blah blah and it's been identified but it doesn't happen at this level I should get paid a bloody royalty for keep repeating those words but the elite uh level in the Premier League where we are I just don't think it's good enough you combine that with a misly [ __ ] who doesn't know anything about football great at leveraging money fantastic at leveraging money but if it comes to football can't hire can't recruit can't direct can't do anything um I mean basically you know you take it strip it right back and you're talking about selling a customer the same product every single week and then taking it away from them you look at 58 when he arrived at Tottenham so close to 60 never managed in any of the top five European leagues his success story was uh Celtic uh where you and I could arguably pitch up either Celtic or Rangers and probably win the league uh prior to that it was um Japanese football no disrespect to the Japanese but we don't hear a lot from that league and we don't get the opportunity to watch much of their football well let's talk about the Japanese for a moment we're saying no disrespect I'd say isn't a question of disrespect it's a dis it's a question of reality all the electronic consumer goods we have in our homes made by the excellent people in the southeast Asia you you don't walk into you don't walk into any City in the UK and say ah yeah middleb the home of the uh the iPhone no it isn't it's the home of the the potato pasty if it's the home of anywhere so the Japanese they know Dum Dums but when it comes to football they know their place we know their place when it comes to building building cars that's why they're all built in China we know our place when it comes to insert a dozen different businesses and industries so the Japanese know where they are the Scottish know where they are and people talk about um especially Spurs friends who are willing to be immediate evangelists for anything that comes along talk about how great a job um an did at Celtic but as you and I know because we're grown-ups you move away from Celtic and Rangers and you're talking about ATT Tendencies which are embarrassing absolutely embarrassing um it's it's not a massively supported game outside outside of that sectarian bubble and I'm quite happy to say that because that's the way flipping World operates um it when was the last time you saw a Scottish team charging around in Europe it doesn't happen because the moment they meet anybody good and it all goes down the tubes but I I I'm in fear as I say of this Perfect Storm of um Daniel Ley who has got over two decades of underperforming and making terrible decisions and they have been terrible decisions um anybody says he's made any good decisions that are to do with football get in touch and I I'll I'll recommend a good psychiatrist because you're you're hearing voices you are literally hearing voices and you're talking about the the the Liverpool performance and who's their coach the guy who flew down to um speak to Spurs and flew out because he wasn't coming down he probably if we think about it in hindsight he probably was told that hurricane wasn't going to be around which had to be a massive massive massive factor in weighing up because nobody cares about the points that pour up from the through the ass all of them no he cares about that I want to know where's my number one Striker oh he's had enough we we've been flim flamming him with different managers left right right you know um from post to post for year on end he's had enough he's he's going to Germany oh right okay um did you say the airports that way and that that's what happened in that conversation and he goes to Liverpool who whatever you want to say about them they run business very well and they have a a a working relationship with fway sports nothing's perfect but they have a working relationship with Fe Sports and they' they've managed to keep Mo Salah he didn't run out when clot went and they're beating Manchester United in their own backyard easily so yeah you know and I I'm struggling now because we looked at these games um so where are we where are we so we've played three pretty crappy teams um that's the truth of it and we've now got Arsenal followed by um centry who are 17th in their division and by rights should give us hope but what state or shape are we going to be in mentally psychologically after getting beaten by Arsenal I think the Arsenal gamees been moved from Sky Sports to Pornhub they've come Lots having fun and it's all going to be at our expense yes I should I should keep I should not pick up that analogy and run with it or um I'm going to have the my my house keys changed while I go out um so just to change the misery from one direction to another um ball lost so loss of possession is is a is a particular bug bear um and you know you look at the players that um were out there keski lost the ball six times um but there's so little activity um and it's almost and Wilson um ode four times these aren't colossally High numbers they're an actual fact quite modest numbers but it just reflects the the the the fact that we weren't very busy um lost under pressure is where you you you see everybody losing the ball across across the entire team and I think their Midfield out out snuffed us out to put it mildly when H broke onto the scene last season first game was that two2 draw brenford away something where there was real Fizz in the balls we were passing the ball quickly we were having people overlapping we were getting forward very quickly now it seems like the the T the airs come out the tire everything's so flat and yesterday there was lots of times where we were camped Outside The Penalty Box and it was all five yard passes sideways or backwards there was a flat line of four defenders in front of us we just didn't know how to break them down and it was like papar had a couple of consecutive shots and it was oh let's just lay it back and hope somebody has a speculative dig that whole energy and that whole thing that we were led to believe was this non-event called an ball it's completely it's disappeared there were times where we didn't know what to do with the ball the the the the period that you're talking about is where I kind of worked out or where I kind of made the the numbers fit the 2 plus two equal five and said okay well I know what an ball is it's FIV side football because primarily like I C you on the last one the ball doesn't go any higher than here um there's no long passing and it's all about the team movement and the team energy not about a spr a core and this hey man let's you know anybody can score it is the literally anybody can score perhaps by your goalkeeper and then on a couple occasions last night I noticed that um Vicario was way out of his box which gives me an absolute heart murmur because he's not very good with his feet at all his passing um at distance is is poor but that goes again with the rest of the team because it's not set up that way it's not something they're vaguely practicing so those long balls you get those diagonals um from like like so Harry kman he dropped deep don't exist for us anymore so what's happening instead is getting guys like porro and S taking as you said like pot shots from like the 30 yard line and once in a blue moon you're going to get like the basuma thing that we saw um against Everton and it's Harrah but generally speaking we're running into that same thing where there's a sort of Tippy tappy thing because it was fast flowing football against brenford and I did actually think well actually there could be something to this you know maybe you can import something from Japan um you know and and it works maybe this he's got something but we've lost sight of that and there doesn't appear to be that I don't know what you call it but that animation that freedom of movement and and this like the triangulation of this diamond passing that we saw he appears to have lost touch with and if I was if I was in his situation with so many names not brilliantly technical guys I would have thought he would have been more Reliant upon that sort of way of doing it well it seems so transactional doesn't it nobody's G the ability to be transformational and said told get the ball drop your shoulder do what you want to do it all seems such a structured plan and again that's why he wants to invest in youth because youth can be brainwashed if you've got a senior player like a Jack greish or for instance they could be thinking actually I've played for Pep I know my way around the football pitch what you're telling me is naive ridiculously crazy and suicidal we're not going win football games with the approach that when the wing backs come in and they're inverted so they're in essence in Midfield they are so narrow that when we lose possession and a dodgy loses possession far too often at leaves us massively exposed at the back and then it doesn't help that we've got the most heads gone suicidal Center back on the pitch plane for us and at times yesterday I felt sorry for rers it must have been like it a scene out of rock drift or Zulu he stood there and all he could see was hundreds thousands millions or something single not a single buger there to help him defend his cause it's just no I I I I I think it also because it to me none of this is just about what happened against so and so because you always get this very narrow view of of a lot of Spurs fans oh it was only Leicester city it was only s but this seeps through the entire um operation as it does when you go into a business you go into any business you go to next for example you're going to Virgin or whatever you always get a a face a sense of who the company is that you're dealing with you look at who Spurs have signed we haven't SP signed anybody you'd be scared to meet down a dark alleyway particularly apart from Romero what we've signed are people that are competition winners and and salanki I'm not going to speak ill of him because we haven't seen anything of him but he historically and he's no spring chicken his numbers have not been exceptional but he's another one who could not believe his luck to be signing for Tottenham I mean Betty couldn't this for him is his pension this saves him going down the path of having to go to the MLS or to go to China or whatever the latest thing is where you can get paid tons of money and before him we had um uh Ice Ice Baby berging he was another one who nearly dislocated his his uh got Whiplash flying over from from from Holland these guys are absolutely killing themselves to go over here but sadly they're not the required standard and people seem to be I don't know what it is almost embarrassed to say that their football club isn't doing the right thing the fundamentals are missing and we want people prepared to run through brick walls or run through stinging NS we've not got any leaders we've not got any men we're not when the tough gets going we all go we've got this half of this half of this lot they see a Ste neck they're running to their mom shouting get the calamine lotion out but you you look at the top teams aside from getting sent off Ry and party always got to be there or thereabouts you look at rodri arguably one of the best midfielders on the planet for Man City the teams have got something about them even yesterday Bruno gz for um Newcastle in the middle he would add so much but we've got we've got boys pretending to be men um when it gets a bit tasty you remember all those years ago the battle of the bridge yeah when D was trying to break people's legs despite everything we said about Eric I'd like him alongside me when the puncher started frowing yeah if you walking if you if you walking out of the pub you'd want Eric Dar behind you opposed to papasa who looks like he's looking for his yo-yo you know and you got and you got a bisa guy who the more I see of the less I'm convinced with he's and he's up to the camera this may work mate if you're a rap star but you got seasoned people and I include us in in that description seasoned people watching football and we're not excited by it yes I know there's probably somebody sat there in his mom's bedroom trying to work out of his mom's Clos the door and gone down the shop so he can get the handkerchiefs out when they see this stuff but we're not we're not that target audience you know we're realists to say it as it is yeah but it's it's just all too predictable it's same old same old and similar to the song Don mlan American P the music didn't die that day but the day poatina left Tottenham the football died because we what we what sorry what we're seeing with an I get the sense of and it was his his his press last night and it was only like say three plus minutes what I get a sense with with with an here is he's talking like did where you know he's not telling you the truth you because anybody in their right mind right because of whatever you want to say about Andrew or any manager we've ever had we've never I don't think we've employed any real dummies in recent time and anybody who was telling you the absolute truth would just say look guys this is the this is the the the you know the guano that I've got to work with this is why we're not finishing them off this is why we're not taking our chances this is why we we are't making a dominating constructive um effort in the final third because I've got guys here who would be much happier with a cap on backwards going yeah yeah boy and all the rest of it and they're just not fit at this level and you combine that with a guy who's tactically naive and then the guy behind the the tactically naive players is the guy who is his mission leave his mission this window was as clear as a nose on your face was to get the wage bill down in order to up the um investability number of of the business so everybody Spurs fans again I keep digging them out but if you if you're going to say stupid things you're going to get called called up on it people just sit there coming out the same oh yeah SPS are worth three billion Spurs are worth three billion a businessman doesn't think like that he's thinking how why can't it be worth five billion yeah and and the way he's now gone about that and he doesn't give a damn about the football doesn't give a damn about that at all is he'll just throw a sanky into the mix he'll do a job there you go and for all postu saying oh well you know I'm involved in the process I get to say yes or no that is exactly where U pochettino Got to when he was broken football clubs Tottenham football clubs just the mouth Beasts for the investment vehicle it's just a publicly facing recognizable global global brand that allows your Formula 1 your NFL your biy Cairo concerts your and whatever other corporate spin-off and football is not of interest to him he does not want to be successful what's going to generate you more income winning the league cup or the FA Cup or having Oasis playing at the top of Stadium it's it's just Shambo and and the trouble is you we we get stuck in this thing where people say oh what a trophy but then they don't take it any further and I hate to be boring but that's kind of how I am but I was one of the only people one of the very few people who was absolutely suspicious over this whole thing and when you had goldm beer wandering around the stadium you know broadcasting his um architecture porn to um all the F oh look it's another G oh yeah yeah I was like who's paying for this what's the quality of the side gonna look like your yeah we we we are we all paid for this and the Levy family wandering around tinkering they infested that damn place they were shooting foxies I mean honestly I've got a list as long as you're on it's boring but it's true that's the reality and that the whole thing is so fragile somebody posted thing on a thing on on X the other week and it was it was a board it was a printed card Board of um I don't know players I don't maybe it's to do with this Legacy shirt number nonsense which again is another commercial thing that nobody asks for and I said to the guy is that actually on the wall or is that something stuck onto the wall and do you know what his reply was it's permanently attached to the wall do me a favor so if you went over there 5-year-old kid that was in a bad mood had too much ice cream you're telling me they couldn't pull that thing off the wall it's because everything to do with the football at that place is is transitory it's it's it's it's not permanent that's why there's no statues there's no there's no real sense of a and everything cuz what they did and this is the thing that I came up with it dawned on me after they'd been open about six months or whatever is that they had this thing in their mind and I think it's one of the reasons and I'm just guessing because this isn't my field of expertise but one of the reasons that they one of the things they were chasing with all the way that all the digital Communications within the building and external building of run is they wanted something was a massive chameleon you know there wasn't like oh you you know you're going to welcome to Old Trafford they didn't want that they didn't want to sign up saying this is this is anfield they didn't want any of that side of things what they wanted was a beverage Outlet stairwell that leads to the sports arena and they made this thing such a comedian that nobody knew what it was and that's why they've had no investment because they I tell you they put out they put out a deluxe book it was actually a book and I got sent photos of it when when it went out and a guy I think he worked for an oil company but they were putting out like BP or sh and it put this book out and it was just lavish it was like basically your name here on a very like Posh scale but the trouble is the product it didn't have any identity and if it's being sent to you even with the the postmark on it saying this is being sent from Lily White House N7 and the immediate reaction of anybody in the footballing business would say Oh that's come from that club that doesn't win anything 100% yeah and that's why we've never pursued the um naming rights this Tottenham the stadium is still the Tottenham Hots Stadium not the Sony Arena or the Emirates takeoff Zone it's just exactly I don't believe I don't believe if they I'm sure they've spoken to lots of people and again that was bungled by Levy he did it himself he then let it go out of house and he then took it back in again and then he employed um Todd Klein and then he's put him on gardening leave I think he's probably only got about a year left before he goes to Chelsea formally and it's never it's never going to work it's like the football team I hate to break it to you but as long as you got one little board guy interfering in every bloody thing that's going on everything that's related to the club he is the blockage I come out with all this language all the time and repeat myself to death there one of the reasons I kind of got kind of peeved doing the just meter camera because it just looked like somebody who iel it was going round and around in circles it was like just just stick put the same you know the guy that walks into the bar and puts the same track on the jukebox great here we go Ace of Spades again one of the greatest rock songs of all time but I don't really need to hear it every single time this guy comes in for his lunch at 1:00 and that's what I felt like I was putting somebody's putting 10p in me and you were hearing Ace of Spades go around and it just loses its effect now we have these regular um counseling sessions allow all your troubles and all your p ps off your chest and you're much calmer more any type person H exactly I don't torture animals So Much Anymore um I hit few women it's it's working for me I I feel like I'm on the path I really do good for you so where are we going what where where do we see this playing out because for me I've had it with an um I I I I simply refuse to um hang my um you know my my flag on on that particular thing I don't this isn't a hill I'm going to get injured on let alone die on um I don't have faith in him I don't think he's got the requisite um life skills mental capacity for the task and I don't think he's going to be afforded the right players so I'm wondering what's going to happen is he just going to take the money till he eventually gets the boot I mean two things first thing I do not know what our wide fan base thinks because you go into social media which is a very very bad thing and a very silly thing to do but the don't go the The Following you've got You' think he was the Lord Jesus Christ Our Savior he could walk on water because this guy's actually achieved nothing he's been moderately successful as we've said in Scotland and Japan yeah we got fans crying out saying oh he's brilliant Ang this oh we give him time why have we got to give him time the longer we give him the worse this problem becomes because he has shown time and time again he's not prepared to do what any good human does and self-re self-reflect yeah look in the mirror we've all made mistakes in life and we will all continue to do so but we've got to learn from him but he doesn't and the whole kamakazi approach to defense we've had some bloody good Defenders over the years when you think about lley King Toby aler yeah um yam vangen um Gary mber yeah 50 million for by the way in that as a potential future great player but you look at Romero and the Blakes two cells short of having no brains at all time and time again and what is happening Monday to Friday on the training pitch to resolve that you stand and you defend that goal and all you want to do is to prevent the opposition scoring and if that means taking shots to the Head or being batted and bruised you want to be a Paul mcra type player or Gary pister or Steve Bruce who your primary objective is to defend not this bloke he's got visions of been uh Ronaldinho he goes pummeling forward almost recklessly I think I think with with Romero I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he is struggling a lot with the fact that he's surrounded by so many useless other individuals I mean he had Emerson Roy around him Pedro parro cannot defend you know and then he's got other people like basuma peeing the ball back to him after giving him a short pass of three yards he gets his straight back again with no actual Al alteration of the structure of where players are so he's no better off and everything's on just on the brink of a panic mode but you just said there like Paul mcgr absolutely Sensational footballer for Spurs fans if we want to name a player that falls into the same category of warmth within the fan base most of their photos are in black and white yes you know because Graham Roberts not a fantastic human being off the pitch and you could say the same about Paul mcgr almost certainly um but on a pitch in the League of Their Own because no matter how what their limitations were as as as as as as players which is just normal we've all got limitations um they they were they had their heart in exceptionally the right place and it really made them a different kind of Beast to your average footballer but who can you say that about in the last 25 years as Spurs GTH Bale maybe Harry Kane rely upon to score goals and I I read somewhere um this morning online um when you were talking there um saying about you know don't go unarmed into the into the social media weeds and there was a reaction to um uh aosta cocko post last night and it was all full of the usual sort of gibberish and saying yeah my team and this and the other just these people are just posting something I mean maybe they're Bots I don't know and one guy said well I'm taking the positives but how can you listen to somebody who's got a uh player as their profile picture and he probably 16 years of age and PRI of man walking in the room was submitting their credit card details into the laptop with a piece of H in their palm and this is everything about theid Junior why we going through the liver yeah yeah white socks in the washing machine PA those that follow this channel are honest footballing people who get it we're all adults but my God there's a lot of wankers out there yeah I I would go as far to say that that that you know 99% of watching us have had sex with somebody else in the room you know that's the other thing I take real umage to H is this report to this repeated rhetoric of oh it'll be the players failing the manager again we've got rid of 14 players it's not the same players actually failing and as it was who undermined con and undermined Jose they had a lot to do with that themselves but are hit people I had a guy yesterday um or the day before because the the the official X for somebody doesn't use x very much it turns out I do apparently but but the official site put up um sorry the official account put up a picture of the new new boys and said new faces to which I replied cheap faces now this got a disproportionate amount of Engagement there was about 75 80,000 people had like seen it it clocked up on the thing and the incels came out you know came out of their bedrooms and one guy said what do you mean cheap these guys cost 160 million quid and to to which I replied to him yeah but they bought badly I mean trust me you can walk down Bond Street and do a million quid on clothes and look like you you've fallen out of a jumble sale spending money isn't the solution and you look at the way the Spurs spent for example in the 2019 window we spent a horrific amount of money on on players that just simply didn't work and you know and d bellet and so forth and but another guy turned around and said um this is in reaction to me saying cheap cheaper players um because it's more about being a cheap skate approach opposed to any you know personal attack on any of the footballers themselves and he said um well if you want to spend 40 million a go on a player he said get your money out so which I replied yeah mate we're e in the deoe money League you can't have it both ways you know well you you need to top it up I already have that's my money whatever money I've put into into Tottenham which by the day is shrinking whatever money has come from me um they've they've misspent that's what they've done and all that money that you're you're whooping about what we got there I don't know if you can see that the 2019 window that you just spoke oh God yeah million cost us 5 million to release Jack Clark 8.5 million left 750 Grand J javani LEL 42 million left for 8.4 Ryan CES on 25 million but you know what those are don't you those are those money just very very badly those are are scratched out scratch cards on the floor outside of news agents where somebody's gone in and done 50 Quid on scratch cards and then has won1 p80 and gone back into to buy a stick of chewing gum or something it's just it's just outrageous we're still big fans of Willie Wonka and we think well we're go get that golden ticket but in between getting that golden ticket we're buy $180,000 and chocolate bars just to be proven sucessful other 179,000 times yeah enjoy enjoy your day at the factory but unfortunately dad's in the bankruptcy court because uh you you you bought every Wonka bar in town so going back to your initial question H I generally think the longer we leave this the bigger the risk and I think if we get to Christmas what are we September already so if we get to Christmas and we've lost further games look he was a cheap appointment his um resignation or sacking or his exit package would be cheap compared to what it would have been when we got rid of cont was on 15 million a year you've automatically got to think are we doing the right thing for the club and we're influenced and motivated by money so the thought of there been no European football in that stadium in 2026 some might care some might not but I cannot see this being allowed to continue but then you think about it what a show [ __ ] is coaching networkers and that should have set the alarm Bells going you should have been the red flags when you look at the CVS of those individuals and you're like who takes ownership of set piece training on the pitch on a day-to-day basis who's our defensive trainer who's working with the forwards since Jermaine def left I don't think anybody is so there's massive holes and your manager your coach it starts and ends with you as the manager and you've got to be there you might not be fit enough or young enough to be able to do the grunt work on the training pitch but Carlo ancelotti arguably one of the most successful managers ever still going late into his 60s but he continues to get a tune out of any team he goes to and that's because he football in man he gets it and he gets the need for a strong core and nice Blake would happily have a beer with him probably wouldn't want to sit with us but that's it no after this but no I mean like like I say if you if you if you if you had the fortune to watch him on ITV when he's doing any of his World Cup coverage I think everybody would kind of universally say he he fitted in perfectly um I mean like I said before in terms of TV demographics he was the wrong shade and you know he he was the wrong sex but his knowledge on football was was satisfactorily comprehensive he was never stuck for an answer um he he he worked in front of the camera very well um spoke well paused to other people speaking all the stuff that we don't do on here and he he was very good and then you see him after he on the other side of the street talking about Tom him and he's looking at his feet and he sounds suicidal and that's because the system he's involved in he knows he he's he's he's drowning not waving I think you know I think the professional diagnosis is Stockholm Syndrome yeah where you and bring and form a relationship with your capter so I think Daniel's got him by the short and curlies he realized he can lifted up to access the short and cures but he's like but you know in businesses and you you'd say to a guy who's in charge of um you know Finding products or something you say to him how how how how how are we looking and if you turns around to you and says yeah I've made some really good contacts got some nice early deals coming in the shelves are going to look great you go away and the time comes When You're Expecting the stuff in and he's right he's not lied to you at all you go back three weeks later you got nothing there and he's referred to a snapshot and that's what we got with the the transfer window and people were saying how's it looking and they were saying oh yeah we've been working on this for months and the window didn't open for another two or three months and we've got a digital um what was it the datadriven approach which I thought was hysterical because it's a bit like a car manufactory you go and buy a Volvo and the guy says to you yeah yeah you know got plenty of boot space uh new fangled um braking system on the wheels this is what I expect to hear when I go to a car showroom not to say yeah we've got some we've got some blue ones over there and just behind that red one you'll love this there's a white one that's not what you hear in a car showroom but but and they said that it was all mapped out that was the impression we got we were told by the Press who talk to um the the the club uh media people all of the time because believe it or not um you know Matt what's his name Matt Law from the telegraph doesn't wake up in a cold sweat at 7:00 a.m. and say oh I think they're looking for a Defender he gets told that by the Press officer you know and so so these guys have been fed all of this misinformation but actual fact when they were talking about all this they were talking about the research that had gone into Gray from leads because it was Data driven because he probably has insane numbers insane numbers from his running vests and all this the coaching stuff the side of it that we don't even really see that isn't to do with games he probably had like off and his projected figures are probably off the scale but then there's the reality of will it happen when he is moved up to somebody else that's going to bring those challenges right to his door but that wasn't everybody they were talking about it was just him and so the business with s salanki like a city the other day West Ham were 100% talking to that guy in May so that wasn't like oh yeah we that wasn't like oh we had him pegged out yeah I've been looking monitoring him for a long time mate no you weren't the gap between May and the end of August is a couple of months we go back to the Archer gry deal that was a reactive transfer it was only when we got win that brenford had stolen in we tried to why AR why why weren't we proactive and saying we want this guy we've been doing our analysis we've been doing our due diligence let's get him first had had he been a man of honor and said yeah you put the money on the table you give me that offer you go give me Premiership football on coming to you would be neered but again yeah this being the leading light a potent a player that we hope goes on to be a success anybody who wears a spur shirt I want to be a success and I'm going to be critical of players but only because we're adults and we're in a world where we can tell the truth but Archer gray is not featured hardly like yesterday when we were trying out for some defensive muscle he doesn't even come off the bench and I think I was far more reassured when we had our number one gangster our number one mafioza Pari doing all sorts behind the wheel at least bring in some reasonable players but who is doing it now and do we trust them not one bit anybody who thinks that teimo verer is a sensible signing clearly has been playing FIFA or sensible soccer and needs to go back to the Dark Ages yeah I mean he came on he came on and he didn't do anything and that's been the story of his career since he was red Bill offage and and that's that's the story there there will be the odd fumbled in toe pooke the th thundering shot into the roof of the net that gets us out of trouble of course there will because he's got tens and hundreds of millions of players worth of players behind him um you and I could score the occasional wonder goal if we were able to lose um a few stone and a few other little cosmetic it items to be addressed because you're in you've got the Spurs thing around you but I don't see that it's a priority for them and I know we keep going back to this but I think it's an afterthought because salanki was as much as a oh the guy over the road is after him as as as as gray was yeah and it and I think also I think it worked in in kind of a reverse way for us against us in the respect of e because e we were told up front that they wanted x amount of money and it was hilarious that the way these guys because they can't speak properly because they can't lie straight in bed oh the release fee no mate that's the fee you don't go into Sainsbury's and see a chicken curry and say then go and say to your your mate did you did you get the chicken no I went to Asda because uh SSB wanted a release fee of $6.99 for their um taste of excellence Curry they had on thing but I got a general Chuck in the microwave job from Asda for 3.99 there's no release fee that was the full fee you just in him we got odbert from from Burnley big enough and if you're established company and you're professional you put the money on the table and you get it you acquire it correct the Shady dealings of um Lewis and Levy um stripping out Brazilian Rainforest and tribes to continue with their property investment activities it's a shame they didn't show the same Ruth forness and deceit to running a football club well unfortunately that's what they have shown they they've shown complete ruthlessness I mean they were involved in other clubs um um Rangers or whatever it was before they came to Spurs um they were looking for any opportunity where they could absolutely Max maximize their leverage and for it it's particularly I would say laughable but it's particularly heartbreaking that they have the the um the investment emotional investment with so many fans who oh yeah I love spares a bit mindless want to wave a flag you know just get behind the team you know it's something to do but the the people that have you know behind what they support don't share those feelings they don't have those values and they don't want to buy Spurs the best player for each position that they can they don't think like that they're absolutely focused as we know now now on the wage bill which yeah don't get me wrong we can't have a wage bill of of 60 million quid a week I understand that I'm not five but by the same token you don't let the wage Bill dictate your day-to-day business because your day-to-day business is football getting investment is an an anomaly it's an extraordinary thing for a business to um go as a you know a process but you mustn't let that surely disturb your day-to-day call be business and they're quite happy to do that very happy to do it eager to do it get there early for it and you know how you can tell when Daniel leave his L here his lips move when he's speaking Yeah yeah no but he's a scumbag he really is and I I don't I don't hesitated speaking ill of him because we have over two decades worth of evidence and it like I keep saying keep coming back to it and it always makes me laugh and again with sort of Sorrow if you want to feel anything in your heart to people say oh you're so miserable okay will you tell me something that this guy has done that I should be cheerful about and don't tell mention the stadium because that's something I didn't order that's something I didn't buy I don't remember anybody campaigning to get us out of of whiteart Lane and white heart Lane had its faults stadi with a great atmosphere and a close intimacy that was knocked down to make way for this money generator nothing about the success football it's just Feats and pounds through the to it was all about maximizing the coin to quote our friend Jermaine genus so it was it was all about that it had nothing to do with football at all and anybody um I say I don't in fact I'm not even this straw man thing if if anybody wants to say nobody can say that that's that's brought us any good any Fame any Fortune we got into Europe our profile profile could not be any higher and still we're not getting the big names the the meaningful names through the door cuz I don't care how big the name is I want the signings to be meaningful for them something that will Aid us to achieve something and instead we're getting the sankes of the world the Berg Vines of the world all these guys coming through saying I cannot tell you how happy I am to be here mate I don't care how you feel I want you to excel at doing your job and we will pay you good money because sanki came to us because West Ham couldn't triple his money or whatever he was on that's the reason he's here and that's because we and we were able to do it because he's mediocre and that's not said because I don't like like his face or his chin or whatever it is or he's upset my girlfriend or whatever story you want to do he hasn't kicked my dog it's because I've looked at his numbers he's mediocre actually I think we should rename this show not the T show but Groundhog Day as I think 12 months from now we'll be a having exactly the same conversation I think I think there's a there's a there's a there's an audience out there for you and I harmonizing on I've got you babe I think that would work go I'm up for anything yeah I heard that but yeah yeah yeah I I just I just find it astonishing but I mean somebody somebody said to me the other day that can does anybody want to like pause the tape and imagine if we just spent all the money that we have spent just on players not on redeveloping areas to turn up you know like a a warehouse in the car park into a Formula One race TCH track but just all the money spent up if we' had done that while we were at White harane so we'd had none other Financial distractions wow and you're just like okay hang on no no my brain can't even compute there was a time and place to do that and it was when we'd lost the Champions League finals to Liverpool Liverpool lost to Real Madrid what did they do go out and sign Allison Becker so they got world class goalkeeper and G sign Virgil Van van dijk we continue the analogy of trying to polish with her it wasn't as PO said you know I've got this beautiful home but I've got no furniture yeah and and and that quote did the rounds with a certain type of fan who were basically laughed at and called Misery guts and they were especially on social media told to go and support somebody else told to get behind the team and not in the team's way which has going to be one of the most ridicul ridiculous phrases I've ever heard in my entire life um and the other line was of course the other classic that was doing the r and all of these phrases have gone by the way nobody uses them anymore because they got revealed for the junk that they are was careful what you wish for yeah exactly which is the all time stop thinking don't think don't question just let it wash over you don't don't don't question anything care for what you wish for well I wish we weren't um you know being held hostage and this takes us back to where we are with with with pasta KLU Stockholm syndrome 100% 110% yeah bed beans on toast get slid under his door he's now hit a point where he's saying thanks very much to the anonymous shadow that pushes them under the door so I think we could probably have a whole new show about who the next one through the door is managerial wise but um I think well I think I I I have to say and you mentioned it to me last night I think it was or I dreamt it woke up screaming yeah I think it's Southgate or thre it like a stick of rock I really do and I've heard I heard from somebody at in Spurs years ago that he liked Southgate that that Baldi liked Southgate and that that I I've said that to people over the years they were talking about um uh what's his name from Leicester city um who's the guy been Brenda Rogers and talking about him I said yeah but the stalking horse here is Southgate undynamic he is marks and Spence as opposed to a mani or boss or something yeah but would he be able to get the basics right and if you could get somebody who could defend teach the center halfes to defend at their life's cost have a strong core then it's going to be a damn sight Improvement on an because the longer we persist with an the deeper down that dark hole we're going that's that's his plan he's trying to go down under I got it down under so can I ask you about your strategy yeah mate I'm digging I'm not building I'm digging I'm digging my but he's want to get back to the sheers but but the the deal with him is that he is going to continue dropping points against sides that should be beaten grab drawers and the occasional Victory I mean goodness me like I say any just have a look at where Everton are later on in the season um I think they're going to be very close to I switch I'll go that far didn't on Saturday T up with 87 minutes go losing 32 that's same thing only we would have been able to engineer in the past that's a Martin y situation 100% yeah two girls up filing your nails on the halfway line and wondering why these people are streaming past you you know you've been a top fan a long time when you can just laugh about things and that's the period when we just have to giggle and find it all very humorous yeah exactly you have to yeah you have to laugh the dog smash the door and have the grunt with everybody when we lost but it happens now that I have to had to have reformed as as our good good friend uh uh s KH says it's all part and parcel yeah yeah dude I've loved that chat this morning however I have got an appointment with the hydrotherapist for number one doggy so goes well it normally does yeah to bump into all the players in recovery there you've been influential in them um showing some interestes in dogs perhaps who knows yeah okay listen mate it's been Sensational as ever I do feel as if I've actually got it off my chest um the m has been avoiding me since the game and this may explain why so um I hope you know I look forward to you invoicing me at a later day remember an andry trust yeah keep it mate see you later guys take care fell cheers buddy
