Kirby Smart EXPOSES Clemson's Weaknesses!

Clemson I told y'all I told y'all this was going to happen uh to all the people in my comment section saying I pic I pick Clemson to do what what Georgia Tech did the FSU well now you look stupid so we going to check out uh my boy Kirby Smart uh talking about this win he played a lot of freshman a lot of freshman played well in a big game this was a quality opponent so we going to check this out and uh make it entertaining hopefully tomorrow first and a couple players you can start with the opening statement yeah I always open with um thanking our fans but I also want to thank um no Kirby thank you brother thank you cuz so many people thought y'all was going to uh FSU that thing and and and boy you put that whoop stick on you put them with you dog walk boy you dog walk Clemson boy half sponsor and I did tell y'all that Clemson's defense was legit and I and I will link this full video in the description below just so you know if you don't want my commentary hey man I appreciate y understand but uh I told y'all that Clemson defense was legit um it held up as long as it could but uh that that offense was just terrible um and wasn't doing anything Club Nick dbo ma mafa the whole you know the whole unit just wasn't very good and you you you you know they couldn't take any shots down the field cuz they were scared and when they did take a shot down the field he threw a pit so I what you want me to say this event what incredible venue atmosphere um anytime you play in Atlanta in this facility and it's part of a title sponsor game where you're playing another in the top 15 top 20 matchup to me it it feels like a playoff game and it's a a great way to um try to assess where you are as a team no longer do you have to win every game but you do have to find out when you're going to be playing your best and you want to be playing your best towards the end of the year and one of the best barometers is to get uh quality wins and I got a lot of respect for Clemson dbo um the way they play the way they coach but this event is special to me and every chance we get to play in it we want to play in it so Gary stoken and his staff do a tremendous job and so has AAC we got Mike holders on either side of the room Mike holders raise your hands please oh yeah and uh go ahead and subscribe my brothers my sisters my cousins my friends now if you sensitive and you can't really handle a bunch of little Sports trash talk and debating and blah blah blah you just want everybody to say your team good hey brother this ain't this ain't the platform for you cuz we don't do no pandering over here whether we like a team or we don't like a team we going to always try to keep it fair keep it neutral but we going to have some fun too uh but we going we going to talk to football we going to talk to sports we going to hop in the comment section and debate with you guys uh keep it resp you know try to keep respectful you know a lot of people try to take little personal Jazz I don't really be K about that uh cuz yeah I know I hit you where it hurt so you try to hit me where you think it hurt me but it don't cuz it don't cuz I don't care cuz this is entertainment for me and with the voice coach malke Stars few years ago as a freshman in this game he made it catch I mean interception made another huge interception in this game today and then freshman C Bing he freshman had a pretty good game what do you attest the credit to a to starts growth in this game and being able to put freshman in games like this that they have performance yeah I think coach Schuman and his defensive staff have done a tremendous job of making our defense uh adjustable um complex without being complex and you can play more players that way so uh you know we we we do have freshman all the time we had Malachi playing this game two years ago KJ played the game today Michael played the game two years ago you know if you're a talented freshman and you can learn then you can play and Malachi's growth is a credit to his humbleness or his humility and he is a great kid from a great family and that's that's what makes Mali special you know what the Freshman that really kind of stood out to me way more than he stood out in high school and that was Nate Frasier I thought it I think he went to moderate day with Jordan Davidson or what is it Jordan I think it's Jordan Davidson the other running back and they had you know he was never really utilized like he was used today with Georgia so he looked good he was all he always was like a little athletic little freak he like 59 210 pounds and can run like he probably run like a 4o uh he played very well filling in for etn I don't know why etn was was set out uh but he looked foolish I think etn had a couple incid incidences on campus as well that probably played a role and him sitting out and then that freshman come in and give you like 60 70 yards boy you that's dangerous that's dangerous boy that's dangerous coach tell to how that first half looked a lot like that game in Charlotte a few years ago uh just what kind of adjustments or was there anything saw at halftime or what would you owe that the offense getting a loose in the second half I think that Mike and the staff did a good job at halftime um looking at pictures seeing what was there um capitalizing on some explosive plays um we blocked well on the perimeter and that that drive of the second half kind of opened things up it loosened them up uh it allowed us to be more explosive and U we use some Tempo to help us and uh we think we're a really well- conditioned team and I thought that juice between you know Nate's quickness rossing energy and Aran and Dylan making some plays on the perimeter yeah Micha goes down in the third quarter looks like jayen Walker comes in outside linebacker he gets backto back tackles for lawon one drive next Drive gets back to back sacks what sort of allows him to come in and play both inside and outside and make an impact like that like he did today yeah he wasn't really playing for Michel he he was playing outside linebacker before Michael went down that's they both they don't really play the same position there's there's packages there where jayen plays inside there's packages where jayen plays outside um we've had to get uncomfortable as coaches to uh use his skill set and I think you know Schuman and the defensive staff have done a great job of finding ways that he can be successful so Michael and him both are really good football players and they both need to be on the field they don't need to to share time and one thing Cirby smart has done since coming to Georgia is recruiting defense like offensively you know they they may get a a receiver tight end running back here there but they do an amazing job recruiting offensive linemen and defensive players even if you look at the last class look at the last class they got a very heavy Defensive class and I think like three or four of those guys on the defensive side played I I don't think yeah I think three or four of those guys played today uh I think uh Ellis Robinson gave up like a a PD or Pi something like that but you know it's it's a freshman he he gonna make those little mistakes when he did get in uh Nate Robertson probably had Nate Robertson and KJ bingfield did real good for those those older guys coach I think during the game B tweeted that Malachi's the best TV in the country um do you think you Javon B the game do you feel that way about Malachi do you think he's the best I don't know I can I judge I haven't seen him it's easier for bull to say that because he's seen the things that mali's done in practice I do think the the play I saw him make today maybe one of the best defensive football plays I've ever seen live in person seen a lot on TV but that one you know he twisted Tor his body and how he can find ability to go find that ball and get it is um it's pretty special the way he was able to uh contort his body and flip his hips and flip his head and go get the ball like he was the receiver on that play it was beautiful man ain't lie we had Travis Hunter making plays yesterday uh or the day yesterday uh we got no yeah the day before yesterday uh we got uh this dude Malachi doing this freak freaky freaking Odell Beckham interception bro that's what your draft stock go up when you do stuff like that just the draft stock going to go up hey coach over here um obviously the first half it was a little bit difficult to get the running game going uh how did Nate Fraser help you guys open up the offense a little bit and get the offense going know that Nate opened up that I mean we we we hit some perent runs to start the game you know and you try to mix and nle and and um try to catch people off balance um we thought that we could run it a little better inside than we did they have some uh some big defensive linemen they're big on their edges they're big up the middle they're they're going to get people you know problems defensively I have a lot of respect for them uh I think Nate brought a little juice a little energy there as cash did too and and br br hasn't played football in a year so BR is going to be fine he's he's a really good back and we're going to continue to get better and uh look forward to using all those guys skill sets we we've got a really good dynamic in that running back room in terms of the players we have and I want to say that I thought Georgia's offensive line responded very well to who I thought was a a very favorable well not favorable a uh a very comparable there we go defensive front uh they're they like they whole defense line like 63 64 65 300 lb long arms uh great get offs great motor uh and for that offensive line of the Georgia bulld dog to you know kind of move those boys around that second half it it looked good it looked good uh Peter Woods made his plays here there but overall they they kept that defensive line intact uh in check and the result the scoreboard show showed it coach uh I'm not noer excellent debut and um just wondering how how would you assess his uh place on the dep chart after today we don't we don't we don't do dep charts that running back I mean cash JD had a great day too and uh I was really proud of all those guys stepping up but there's no death chart I mean we we play the guys that have the best we can practice boy I like I like that bar he said we don't got a de if you if you the best guy practice that week then you playing that running back that's just kind of what it is uh the hot hand gets fed you know what I'm saying and that boy Nate looked good I ain't going to lie I ain't going to lie he look good man I can't even lie C took your transfer receiver make some big play made a great catch in Lon show how fast is when ball hand space yeah London I thought really stepped up I thought the play of the game was the play he caught over the middle um Dylan had gone down was some camping London had to step up and go play he made a great catch I think it was a third down conversion I'm not sure but once we converted that it kind of was a springboard to being explosive and scoring and I thought that was a clutch catch you know he he London is is a great kid he's very levelheaded nothing really affects him uh it didn't surprise me in the moment that he didn't the wasn't too big for him cuz he's played in a lot of these SEC matchups Kirby you mentioned Mel earlier what was the injury for him and for Warren Branson as well both uh one's a ankle and Warren was more of a contusion of some kind I'm not sure I don't want to say high ankle but it was above the ankle it was more calf uh in there where he got stepped on he felt like and and Michel's x-rays they look good but I've seen that before so we we got to go check when we get home and see coach obviously etn didn't play with that was that a suspension and will is it over now will will it carry into New Year no we don't talk about those things it's good try though F focus on how our guys play today and that's the focus and energy I put appreciate your question uh we all know that Carson is CM cool collec we've heard you say that you wanted a little bit more passion get his team next fired up did you see that from him today yeah I thought he got a little passion to there you know we started a little bit early and didn't have the third down conversion with in the first half and I thought he responded well to that uh he came in sat down on the iPad and he told me when we came out the second half he said we're score coach and sure enough uh we did and U I thought he he really handled that that well I think look that's a good defense guys y'all can say what you want that's a that's a really high quality defense and that's what I've been saying for like the last two weeks like Clemson has a good defense they just just didn't have any offense to kind of keep them off the field a little bit to keep them fired up keep them motivated uh once they got down like 17 or something like that it was over uh they they K kayen Club Nick and Company was not about to eclipse or erase a 17-point deficit um what that the way that game was going versus that Georgia defense uh and I think that I think that had a toll on on Clemson's uh defense ultimately and kind of exposed D Botho for like that you know just how Antiquated his system is right now on the offensive side of the ball I don't know who well Garrett Riley whoever the whoever the coordinate is for Clemson he ain't doing a very good job cuz you only scored three points so you got exposed um and uh we G to see how the rest of your games go we know Georgia was probably going to be your toughest matchup thus far definitely thus far and probably the entire season so clemon can easily clean it up and get some more favorable matchups after Georgia but the good thing is I think Clemson got out of this game primarily healthy you know what I'm saying primarily healthy uh without any major injuries anything like that outside a bruised ego um but yeah I thought they played well kind of and that kick from Peyton 55 y uh I mean pretty late in the half there how how big was that for yall yeah it was big at the time but it just you know you can't play these games in 3 three 3 three you got to score touchdowns and uh that probably was a little out of my comfort zone but it looked to me like he had some room to spare on it you know and uh what was it 50 what 55 55 I didn't even realize I knew when we had to kick it it was out of the zone that I really wanted to but I didn't have a lot of options there and we were playing field position and I've seen him make them so indoors I think it makes it more significant yeah so Georgia you know destroyed Clemson and and hit him with that whoops there and I I think they exposed some of the things or some of the weaknesses that Clemson has and that's basically like if you can keep that quarterback bottled up if you can make him onedimensional you can make him scared to go deep the biggest problem Clemson had with one of the biggest problems where they were scared to go deep and then not only were they scared to go deep they actually couldn't go deep so they their fears were correct cu the few times they did try to go deep it was Pi deflection and definitely you saw the interception um I think Clinton will be fine Georgia is definitely going to be fine it was a great opening week for both teams both teams got to see where they were offensively and defensively both teams are going to get better uh from this point forward uh Kaden kumnick will get better uh that defense will remain strong and they will improve in certain
