Nathan Zur here at Lumen field where the Browns wrap up the preseason falling 37-33 in a highly entertaining game for those of you who stayed up for the Browns after dark a 7 p.m. local kickoff 1 p.m. back in Cleveland and the fireworks they were a plenty big plays on both sides of the ball big plays for both of these football teams the Seahawks will go right down and score there' be a punt return touchdown from Seattle as well but for the Browns they did not play many of starters we had thought maybe going into the week that Kevin sany was going to play Deshawn Watson and a lot of the starters that was not the case but yet the backups they provided a lot of entertainment it was a big day for Dorian Thompson Robinson who kept off a great preseason his big play a 46-yard touchdown to Jamari thrash the rookie was the Browns leading receiver today and throughout the entirety of the preseason and the Browns also wanted to Showcase Tyler Huntley and boy he looked great today throwing for three touchdowns in the second half he's a guy that you wonder if he will draw some trade interest around the National Football League so that was really what you wanted to accomplish today you wanted to get some good work for your quarterbacks you did just that you got out of here relatively unscathed we'll need to get an injury update on Deontay Foreman who left with a rib injury but for the most part the Browns a strong showing and now it's on to the regular season and now for Andrew Barry the tough decisions come the Browns will have to cut this roster down to 53 people by Tuesday so the team's going to board a plane they're going to fly back through the night to clean Cleveland and then those roster discussions will begin in Earnest and the Browns will have to get down to 53 by Tuesday they'll be able to add a 16 person practice squad as the week progresses and then it is on to the Dallas Cowboys now Andrew Barry in the pregame of tonight's game H broadcast on News 5 he noted that he thinks the left tackle Position will be solidified and the Browns will get those guys back and they will be intact by the time they take on the Dallas Cowboys so that is great news so next step getting down to 53 and then the Browns through the course of the week will round out this roster the 53 and then the 16 on the practice squad no wins in the preseason but a lot of good play a lot of good performances and a lot of things to be excited about because now we turn our attention to the real National Football League season and the Browns and the Dallas Cowboys on September the eth man just two weeks away for the latest on your Browns keep tuned at clean browns.com and the Browns mobile app it's Nathan's gur wrapping up the preseason from Lumen field
