what is up everyone welcome to another episode of talking timepieces with Tony here I am wearing my op41 love this watch still got to do a full review on it got a bunch of other things I got to do as well so um anyway today uh went down to Jenna Raleigh's and General Lee's in Toluca Lake that is where they will be hosting the uh classic vintage uh Jewelry and Watch event and it's going to be awesome this this Thursday 4 P.M to 8 P.M again Toluca Lake it's on Riverside Drive generalities in general let's roll the intro and we'll talk about it [Music] talking timepieces with Tony you're watching talking timepieces with Tony [Music] yeah all right so I went down there today Peter called me or texted me and said hey stop by we just a couple things to discuss before the event comes up on Thursday if you are in Los Angeles area Toluca Lake um General is a fine jewelry store they sell fine luxury watches as well um these watches will also be available um you know to purchase for anyone so you know again if you uh are coming down just RSVP to them at info generallys.com and then uh any watches you might be interested in I'm going to be live streaming I'm figuring I'm going to be live streaming about 4 P.M ish here give or take on Thursday December 15th um it's going to be catered with actually really good food there's going to be champagne hors d'oeuvres all that stuff so it's an event it's going to be cool um and I wish you all could be there but uh having said that um just went down there today to um look at some of the watches yeah he hasn't got them all in yet um but there's a beautiful uh display of Rolex available and uh there's gonna be tutor Omega Patek Philippe and uh all kinds of nice watches man and especially if you're into vintage you know there's a lot of nice vintage um and of course jewelry you know for the ladies one of the watches I got my hands on today was a hundred year old Patek Philippe uh from the 1920s uh it was a it's a rectangle shape uh uh manual wind 18 karat yellow gold it's a beautiful piece oh my god um I think that's going to be around the 20 000 price point um one of the other watches this is for the ladies was another beautiful Patek Philippe this is a more modern iteration um this is a quartz model and it is absolutely gorgeous it's probably about a 27 28 millimeter um all bezel uh with diamonds those diamonds are just absolutely gorgeous so for the ladies if uh if you're interested in purchasing your uh your significant other or whoever else a nice uh Patrick Philippe for the ladies I highly recommend that that's gonna be right around about eight thousand dollars um keep in mind I don't I'm not making any money from this you know I'm not getting a commission and I'm not getting any uh cut back or anything like that this is just purely I'm doing this because well one they asked me and two it's be just because I'm just so passionate and love watches um we're also doing a watch giveaway with two watches um Peter is giving away or general he's just giving away a beautiful 1955 longine um it is gold filled it is mechanical and automatic it's engraved on the back um from 1955 so that's really cool when you have something like that and you just wonder where that watch has been who you know who owned it and if any of those people are still alive that were in contact that with that watch and wonder oh remember that long Gene you had I wonder whatever happened to it well it's here and we're giving that away um so there's a lot of uh a lot of really cool stuff man so I hope anyone who's available can come down again I'm going to be live streaming everything will be up close I really want to find a way to get you guys involved so I can have you guys you know try to win this watch because I'm giving away a my t-so PRX Sunray blue dial integrated strap this watch is just a killer piece anyone you know you there's this T cell or awesome watches this is a great watch and this particular model um tiso uh its Inception was 1978. um it's just a really good timepiece and this is again my own personal piece that I'll be giving away and uh it'll be some form of raffle ticket type scenario so um I hope you guys can tune in onto the live stream again I want to say 4 4 P.M on Thursday the 15th of December um however it might be around 5 p.m so just kind of sit tight I'm not too sure yet you know I haven't got all that figured out just yet because I want to try to do it right I've never really I've never done a live stream so um having said that um I think that's pretty there's everything from uh Day dates uh two-tone datejust just regular datejust um yacht master um what else yeah you know whatever they're all there so uh you know again these aren't going to be modern today's you know 22 models I I don't know if the other person who's bringing a bunch of watches in are going to be bringing newer models or not but you know these are all you know beautiful
