e e e e e e e good afternoon and welcome to hamom park for today's third round draw of the spfl trust trophy my name is Molly Hyde and I'll be guiding you through the proceeding today and I'm delighted to be joined by Katherine goens who'll be conducting the draw now Katherine was a participant at the football fans in training program run at the Killy Community overseeing proceedings we have spfl competitions executive Liam MCN who'll be keeping an eye on things now the spfl trusts works with Community trusts and Associated spfl clubs up and down the country to help deliver change that improves the lives of those people living in Scotland and one of the programs that they run is the football fans in training program which Katherine was a participant of Katherine can you tell us a little bit about the program that you took part in yeah um I soon it advertised in the football called social media so signed up for with a couple other people that I knew it was an absolute amazing opportunity through the club and it was run really well through the Kelly community so I went to that and lost two stone with them I had a few issues where I ended up being ill the following year and I've put a lot back on but through the Kelly Community I'm s trying to get it back off again and can you tell me a bit about the the impact that it's had on your life I know that you're still involved um in Kelly Community um it's been amazing they they've been an amazing charity and doing the the football fans and training with them was something we really enjoyed and uh they still checked in on me while I was ill and there's just a really good good bunch of people no it sounds like an amazing program an amaz amazing community that you've been part of so it is at this stage of the competition that we welcome the remaining clubs who are partaking in the competition this year which are the William Hill Championship League one and the rest of the league two sides and they're of course joined at this stage by the round two winners of their matches now the spfl shared all the numbers earlier today and they are on your screen now and from now on there is no seeding which means from here on in it will be an all in draw so today we have 32 teams in the single pot with 16 ties to be drawn so with with all of that in mind the balls are in the bowl if we could begin the draw and we can draw the first home team 27 our first home team is 27 and that's stran ra who knocked out Bonnie rig Rose in round two and they'll be playing at home too number 18 number 18 is Anan athletic who suffered their first defeat this season on Saturday our next time we have playing at home a nice big swirl 25 25 is East F who were two1 winners against St Johnston B and they're playing at home too number six number six is dun firland athletic who will run us up back in 2007 next tie number seven number seven is air United who is sitting top of the William Hill championship at the moment under Scott Brown and they're playing number two number two is race wraith Rovers who most recently lifted the trophy back in 2002 our next tie number nine number nine is in vaness Caledonian thistle twice winners of this competition and Joint winners with wraith Rovers back in 2020 they're playing at home too number 19 number 19 is Sterling albian and their best run in this competition saw them meet the semifinals and there our next tie 29 29 is East killbride who beat East sterlingshire on penalties in the second round and they'll be playing at home too 15 number 15 is Cove Rangers who reached the semi-finals back in 2022 our next tie playing at home we have 22 22 is Peter head who a challenge cup Runners up back in 2016 and they'll be playing at home against 24 24 is dun Barton who beat baric Rangers 4-0 in the second round a comfortable win for them our next tie we have playing at home number 12 number 12 is Hamilton academical who won the challenge cup three times and they're playing at home too 31 31 is dundy United B who beat baky Thistle and dundy B so far in this competition are next time playing at home 16 number 16 is Kelty Harts who are currently top of League one and they're playing at home too 26 number 26 is Elgen City who defeated Highland Lee Banks of D in the second round our next tie playing at home we have number three number three is partic thistle who reached the final in 2013 and they're playing at home [Music] too number 13 number 13 is aloa athletic who won the competition back in 1999 our next tie playing at home number 23 number 23 is the Spartans and they shocked Ross County at the weekend making it through to the quarterfinals of the Premier Sports cup and they'll be playing at home too number one number one is Livingston who won the competition back in 2015 our next [Music] TI number 10 number 10 is AR broth who reached the quarterfinals last season and they're playing at home too number 14 number 14 is Monro and their manager signed a new deal in 20 until 2027 last week our next tie we have playing at home number 30 number 30 is Cen be who won won in dramatic fashion against albian Rover 43 in round two and they'll be playing at home 1995 they playing at home too 11 11 is ferk who won the competition on four occasions up an ultimate tie we have playing at home 17 number 17 is Queen of the South who've won this competition twice and they're playing number four number four is er drans who are the current holders of the spfl trust trophy after last season's win and our final tie playing at home number eight number eight is Queens Park who lost out to an injury time goal against abedine in the Premier Sports cup at the weekend and they're playing our final team number 20 number 20 is Edinburgh City who earned their first points of the season on Saturday against Bonnie rig Rose so that concludes the third round draw of the spfl trust trophy those ties are due to be played on the weekend of the 7th and 8th of September
