hello and welcome to it's tomorrow news I'm R SRI Ram Britain set for Arctic blast and snow flurries as mercury plunges to minus 4° temperatures were set to fall this weekend as low as -4° with a Chance of some snow flurries hitting the UK it is currently forecast to remain unsettled throughout the weekend with a band of thicker clouds and outbreaks of rain moving slowly northwards across the South elsewhere showers return around Coast with clearer spells in land allowing a rural Frost across the North and into early hours of Saturday morning now forecasters have predicted Subzero conditions with the thermometer dropping as low as -4° low pressure started to arrive in the south on Friday afternoon and it brought the threat of cloudious skies and perhaps some outbreaks of rain to end the day temperatures started to rise in the milder air to the South but the rain risk will increase through the afternoon Saturday saw a cold start and we could see temperatures down as low as -4° in Northern Ireland and Scotland which is fairly cold for this time of the year so there's a potential for a frost for northern and western areas temperatures will likely continue to rise to average if not a little above average for the start of the next week but it could throw up a risk of heavy showers from the nearby continent as well looking into Saturday the Met office currently forecasted that cloud and Rain would continue to push northwards through the morning easing as it does so Saturday started chilly and bright for Northern Ireland and Northern Britain further south cloud and showery Rain from the first feature will still linger and aging northwards for England there'll still be a cool East Breeze off the North Sea but as the frontal band moves away from the Southeastern England it will feel better with sunny spells during Saturday night the main weekend low pressure will appear over northern France the northeasterly to Northerly winds will pick up for Central and Southwestern England and Wales that's all for now for more weather news updates stay tuned with us on this tomorrow news for more global weather updates like this subscribe to our Channel and hit the Bell icon for regular updates thank you
