BLUE PROTOCOL IS SHUTTING DOWN...

here blue protocol I made this channel because I believe in the game I thought this game was going to be the killer but guess what everyone was hype all right sleepy heel hype sir aile hype everyone here is looking forward to it right look at that people were sharing PVS left and right but today they announce e o s okay e o s so blue protocol please read this message regarding the future of blue protocol why is it should I uhoh uhoh so this game was supposed to be the killer all right everybody saw this game and be like okay this is going to be the killer it has to be right it has to be the killer all right so if you look at this game the quality is there and it doesn't look like a cheap game to make right it looks like like a very expensive game to make if you think about it I don't know how much it costs maybe more than concr maybe less than concr I have no idea but it definitely look like uh it has a lot of potential all right it look like it might be the um the RP uh the MMO the East MMO right it might be the East MMO of the year it might be able to compete with like Los AR and what the East M I think PS PSO2 and stuff uh is definitely a very high quality game but sadly yep it's just not doing well and I have been following uh this game for a little bit right uh it is from what I heard there's some issues with it right number one the server occasionally there's lag and stuff right number two something that I heard a lot is the game just the foundation of the game just wasn't very good it's very grindy so it requires you to grind a lot now the game currently only has JP version right all back then right it has JP version for one year and I think it's um smart for them to do actually it's actually really smart for them to do because uh you know testing it out in JP first to see if it's going to do well or not right it didn't work in JP it didn't work on JP the revenue was super low I assume B Namco was losing money as well that's why they decide okay we're just going to like cut it off what about the Amazon version Amazon version of the West the Amazon version of the West is going to be EO s all right the entire IP is your s so let's have a look at the um let's read the the post but yeah it's not making it sadly so here is the official post right here the future of blue protocol me zoom in as much as we can B Namco online announced that they have made a difficult decision to end surveys on Blue protocol they will shut down their Japanese blue protocol servers in January 2025 so if you want to play you can still play it it will still be available until next year January and have ended the plans to release the game in the West in collaboration with Amazon games Amazon games EO I mean like Amazon games is fine but the game the game the IP itself is going to just poof disappear into the thin air uh all the amazing characters that they have it doesn't matter right but I hope that um bad Namco basically gathers as much as they can like I hope they try to uh I get it that the game shut down and it's not doing well and stuff maybe people are just not looking for MMO in 2024 right maybe that's the thing maybe that's the case maybe uh I don't know what do people what do players actually want right in 2024 I feel like there's no big MMO that came out recently right uh the the most famous one is still probably World of Warcraft alongside with L art and stuff and maybe like Final Fantasy 14 but MMOs are not exactly cheap to make right they probably cost a lot the server cost and stuff but yeah in your statement announcing the end of sery is Bam Coline said we have enjoyed a strong relationship with Amazon games throughout the development of blue protocol and both of our teams are disappointed that we will not be able to deliver the game to players around the world we know this is disappointing news and we share your disappointment we love the world and characters of blue protocol and we were excited to welcome January okay we cancel our plans to be okay so pretty much the same thing right we deeply apologize for the sudden announcement yeah so I really hope that they don't just destroy the IP entirely and they try to like they basically try to like gather as much survey as they can from players and understand why the game fail right and what players don't like what players like and try to make like a totally new sequel or something maybe not sequel right but because the IP didn't succeed but fresh entirely new stuff out of the everything that they have right the engine and stuff yeah because I think the game has a lot of potential right didn't even get Global release yet yeah and I think it's smart I think it's better for them to even though Japan is like a small Market or a small sample size but I feel like it's better to just end it there if it's not performing well in the home country than to brunch out to Global and then find out okay it's not working well as well then you have to EOS both regions and then like you lose even more money I think it's probably a smart thing for them to do this to basically just okay let's just call it here the game is not doing well uh it didn't meet the quota or earnings or whatever that we have to so just stop it right there reduce any more financial damage that it could possibly do to ban Namco overall because I'm sure the B Namco is a massive uh super big company right they probably work on plenty plenty of games Gathering surveys and still failed at one live stream uh I did I did see yeah uh they have one live stream where there was a drama uh was it in their channel right it was somewhere uh somewhere here I remember like there was a bunch of negative comments but you can see right the developers actually really do care and these are the developers they stream the game as as well and try to like communicate with the players regarding the issues of the game what they plan to add etc etc from every version I've watched some of it as well uh but yeah uh sadly even then it did not go so well yeah it's just it's just such a sad thing because uh if I think if this was successful more you would see more and more style of this kind of anime because I like the style I actually like the graphics right if you look at the first trailer for The Blue protocol I actually think it has one of the better [Music] um the graphic style is very thing all right I actually like it and I wish uh you know because Bano they do have the IP to a lot of anime games right this Graphics doesn't look bad actually it looks comparable to if you ask me it looks comparable to ghin's one right or maybe comparable to watering W one even uh and it's like it's more colorful I guess right but it definitely has that uh graphic graphically wise it looks pretty nice all right pleasing to the eyes but yeah it is what it is that's what happens Graphics alone can't carry your game if the game sucks the game sucks right
