[Music] all right move on to a game where we are playing and it is a very strong consensus here with the 49ers and the Vikings this Line opens San Francisco minus 7 total 45 a half we did see some movement off of the key number of seven um even though they did win and cover Monday night but now they've got a short week going on the road facing a Vikings team hey Sam darnold we said it if Sam darnold plays average the Vikings are playoff team well Sam darnold had the highest pro football focused passing grade of any quarterback in week one I would say that is above average the question is Fez can he sustain at that level as they now face a much tougher opponent than the New York Giants this week well of course he can't because he's a well below average Quarterback but you nailed it Jared I mean Minnesota this is the easiest game I've ever seen to handicap so I'm on the Vikings plus six let me use ridiculous assumptions let me assume the Vikings are one point worse than an average team that's seems pretty darn ridiculous to me given how well they played week one and most of last year the second half of the last year they had no quarterbacks that resemble being competent at all and now they have a competent um below slightly below average starting quarterback let's use minus one be conservative let's assume the ners are the best team in the NFL by margin let's assume they're point and a half better than the Chiefs that would make them seven points better than the average team that's ridiculous they're all banged up that's a number that's way too high but I'll use it that makes the difference between these two two teams eight on a neutral the Vikings have a strong home field that would make the game six The Situation's poor for the ners they had to play on Monday night football and now they have to travel uh two time zones that's worth a point that gets me to five so using nothing but conservative assumptions I make the game five if I start tweaking that and be more favorable about Minnesota or docking the Niners more for injuries I get all the way down to three and a half or four and I'm getting six points give me this plus six Vikings yeah I agree it's pretty hard to uh see that there's any value whatsoever on the San Francisco side coming off a short week and really playing a top level game on top of it uh you don't usually bring a game of that quality two weeks in a row on a short week uh darnold above average obviously uh uh Aaron Jones fit into that lineup very well and gave them some nice balance um worrying about Addison's not practicing still so that's a little bit of a concern but uh another un another strange thing is uh Flora has uh uh changed up his defense last week and that really threw a monkey wrench in uh for the opposing team so what is he going to do this week would would San Francisco prepare with the way Flores was running defense all last year or do they have to pay heed to how he ran defense last week so uh a lot of moving Parts here a lot of things to think about but it it all seems to kind of favor the Vikings here uh I think six is just too many points I like the Vikings yeah the sick injury report also agrees with your stance um this is the biggest gap of any two scores heading into the week um Minnesota is a little banged up right Addison ho son still injured um we mentioned McCarthy earlier in the year but I don't think that plays much of a factor considering how good darnold looked for the ners it's defensively green law with the achilles haunga with the ACL neither of those guys are going to play both left and right guards are dealing with injuries I don't know how Trent Williams played as well as he did considering he hadn't practiced all camp but he looked I mean that dude is just a freak but outside of Trent Williams that offensive line is really banged up um there and of course Christian mcaffry I'm seeing some buzz in the chat about mcaffrey um Limited in practice today trending towards not playing again this week so across the board uh the sick injury report pick of the week uh is Minnesota Chris and Fez are on Minnesota I am also on Minnesota a clean sweep if you recall our Clean Sweep last week was the Jags plus three and a half woo it was tight there at the end boys but we got home on Jack thanks for nothing etn yeah yeah etn almost ruined that one for us us it is a cons this is our I was going to say you know we we do the favorite Child at the end I can kind of bury the lead here this is going to be my favorite child of the week based off of our consensus [Music] [Music]
