Packers vs Eagles Predictions | Early NFL Week 1 International Game Analysis & Preview

[Music] that is very intriguing week one it's a Friday game um it's the Eagles and the Packers we've seen steady handle here come in on Philly they are now a slight favorite in the game of course the game being played in Brazil Steve that is of note does that change anything for you and uh what's your take on the early movement here as Philly um starts to get a little bit of love in the market yeah little bit of love in every game for Philly we'll talk about that later in the show but if there was one team that there is a consensus on it's that the Eagles are going to win the division I think every single expert including myself has given that out or bet that back when it was plus money and now the Eagles are are big big favorite to win the division so you're getting to it late but there might be ways to get at the Eagles in other areas you know I want to talk a little bit about this game about it because the Eagles are a two-point favorite in most um places the teaser on the Packers is now looking attractive that long teaser you tease through the corridor of three and seven points and you can tease from plus two up to plus eight and I don't really like the fact that this game being you know in South America more uncertainties because of the field conditions about what might happen uh I'd be reluctant to be teasing it I did want to go ahead and mention you know the BET us um team they really have some excellent line makers and and you're going to see them deal some unique lines especially when it comes to these Wong teasers and in fact right now they're dealing Philly minus one L120 so they say there's an exception to every rule Jared all right so I would never ever ever tease through a zero but um now you're looking at like let's say you like Philly in this game and you're wantan to play other teasers you see where I'm getting at you can turn that Philly it's minus one up to a plus five so you're you're getting plus five on your six point teaser instead of plus4 I'm not saying that's the right play but it's something you can certainly start thinking about potentially as you know going the opposite side um but I think that uh probably this Line's going to go up to two and a half I think there's just all the eagles lines keep inflating Scott D's asking you know does the location matter and I think Scott the answer is yes it does but I'm having a difficult time quantifying exactly what how good the field will be and who will benefit greater the first game that's ever been played in Brazil I know they played in Mexico before they've never played in Brazil right uh that is my understanding yes yeah I mean so it's it's you know it's it's Schrodinger's cat we have no idea we could open up the uh we can open up the box the field could be great we could open up the box the field could be poor I think that's a game day that feels like a game day or a game week type of uh decision when we start to get some information uh from Brazil Chris is is that that something that you'll be keeping an eye on when we get closer to this week because of just the uniqueness of the venue yeah I'm going to you know probably uh have a light interest in it uh just because I want to see those two teams play both of those teams probably are they might be number one and two of the teams I'm most interested to see what they're going to be like on the field uh this year because I I have a very wide view of what can go wrong and right for both of those teams I'm not as high am I'm not I'm not as convinced that Philadelphia is as good as everybody's making him out to be shout out Michael F great comment here in the chat and this is Steve I'm curious your thoughts Packers able to fly from Green Bay the GM mentioned they may need to bust to Milwaukee for more one I've never heard of that before I I I don't know if the travel is going to be an issue down there but they are going to a foreign country well remember it's not week nine so all these teams are are freshed and the like so it shouldn't be as big a deal um I guess they're talking about the uh the college game in Hawaii where um their their opponent is like is stuck still in the swamps of Jersey or somewhere you know trying trying to get out there Jared you brought up a great Point you're like well it's a lot of ambiguity uncertainty about the location um maybe we'll bet it later close to post well how about we just wait till the game starts and I love live wagering us has a great venue for live wagering it's one of the best out there um I'm super impressed with it I encourage everybody to use it you know while you're playing these games and what's the beauty of these Standalone games is everybody deals these games live such that um you get to see the field conditions and the weather and the like and pulling back the curtain here all things being equal I love I don't like the UN cty of weather before I bet a game but I love weather uncertainty during a game and field conditions uncertain during a game because then I can take it in and then I can bet with certain information instead of just guessing I think it's important that everybody realize though it's very important to understand what feed you're on uh you know if you're on YouTube you could be 40 seconds behind uh if you're streaming you're going to be farther behind um so Chase down the best possible feed that you can get if you're going to be betting in game and I would encourage everyone unless you're a complete expert at this I really would recommend you only bet during the TV timeouts because you got to recognize you're a play and a half behind and I can tell you just changing the odds seeing the odds change I'm like oh you know Mahomes got sacked this play I mean I can predict what happens based upon what the line move is before I get to see it on my TV uh Russell said look to fade these two teams in week two and you get two extra days here Fez is is that is are those two extra days are those enough to overcome the travel and and all of the you know weirdness of playing in Brazil you know it's a great question because you've got two factors you know the rest advantage and Warren sharp does Great Stuff with that that's obviously advantage to both these teams to Green Bay and Philly but I think it more they say what every time zone I know we're not changing that many time zones um but every time zone takes a day you know every hour takes takes a day to like fully recover from um I don't know about you know going going to the Southern Hemisphere and seeing the Southern Cross not West right but I mean still uh you know the food the you know everything else I I would the water don't drink the water right I'm sure they're going to be well see these guys have very strict nutrition now I I I'm not concerned about that at all all um and wallyball is another again I pre this is why the chat's great because we don't have everything in front of us we're doing a live television show we're not going to have all the information Philly gets three extra days because they don't play till Monday night the following week so they even the extra day after that in fact I would say at that point you're almost giving Philly an advantage um giving them three extra days from whoever plays I don't know who their opponent is that week 2 Monday night game but let's say that team plays Sunday um yeah that's a that's a that's a pretty big Edge there so really good chatter about this Brazil game um no opinion for me right now [Music]
