OPPORTUNITY. LET THEM KNOW. YEAH. LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD ALL DUE A WELL. WE HEARD YOUR VOICE A LITTLE LET'S TAKE A LOOK OUTSIDE OVER DOWNTOWN DETROIT THIS MORNING. IT IS A BEAUTIFUL START TO THE DAY. HOW ABOUT THIS IS NOT HIGH. >> IT'S NOT STORMING. WERE NOT GET INTO RENTAL RAIN. SO I'LL TAKE IT MEAN CHECK CHECK AND CHECK TAYLOR FOR THE THAT'S ALL WE WANT AT THIS POINT. THE WIND. TAKE WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A SETBACK TOMORROW. A BISON IN THE BANK. YEAH, WE'RE GOING TO SET BACK TOMORROW. SO IT'S NICE TO GET A BRIEF BREAK TO SAY THE LEAST. >> TODAY IS A MILDER DAY THAN WHERE WE'VE BEN AND WHAT WE'VE SEEN. THAT'S BECAUSE TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE 80'S. THE HUMIDITY WILL STILL BE THERE. JUST NOT GOING TO BE THAT OVER THE TOP HUMIDITY THAT WE EXPERIENCED AS WELL. >> BUT THE HEAT AND THE STORMS, THEY WILL RETURN ON FRIDAY. AND THEN ONCE WE GET TO THE LABOR DAY LABOR DAY WEEKEND, LOOKS MUCH BETTER, BRIGHTER, DRIER AND CALMER TO SAY THE LEAST. TEMPERATURES ARE NEAR 70 DEGREES RIGHT NOW. I WILL MENTION THAT THE DEWPOINT STILL-HIGH NOTICEABLE AT 63 DEGREES. SO JUST BE AWARE THAT YOUR BUS STOP FORECAST KEEPS US MOSTLY CLOUDY OF NUMBERS IN THE 60'S. EVENTUALLY CLOSER TO RECESS. WE SHOULD GET THESE NUMBERS CLOSER TO 70 DEGREES. IT'S A CALMER DAY WITH THE CLOUD COVER, BUT WE STILL HAVE A CHANCE OF SEEING SOME STRAY SHOWERS SNEAKING IN HERE. BUT ONCE AGAIN, IT'S A MILD START WITH THESE NUMBERS IN THE 60'S IN JUST A LITTLE BIT OF VISIBILITY ISSUES. AS FAR AS THE FOG IS CONCERNED. LET'S JUMP AHEAD TO FRIDAY. FRIDAY IS WHEN WE'LL HAVE NOT ONLY THE HEAT, BUT ALSO THE HUMIDITY WORKING TOGETHER, GIVING US ANOTHER HEAT INDEX VALUE NEAR 95 DEGREES IN THE CITY OF DETROIT. THAT INCREASED INSTABILITY IS GOING TO GIVE US THE THREAT OF SOME POWERFUL STORMS ONCE AGAIN FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING BETWEEN 3 IN ABOUT 8 O'CLOCK. THAT'S WHEN A COLD FRONT IS GOING TO APPROACH THAT WE HAVE A MARGINAL RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER SIMPLY MEANING THAT A SEVERE STORM WILL BE A POSSIBILITY FOR FRIDAY AS THIS COLD FRONT MOVES. AND THERE'S A LOOK AT THE LINE AT 07:00PM. THIS IS GOING TO DRIFT TO THE EAST SKIES CLEAR UP AFTER THAT. AND THAT WILL SET THE STAGE FOR A BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND JUST IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS. SO FROM FRIDAY INTO MONDAY, NOTICE HOW EACH DAY GETS COOLER AND COOLER. UNTIL WE'RE ONLY TALKING ABOUT 70'S BY LABOR DAY IS 73. THE MUGGY METER DROPS TO GET
