Penn State Post Game Show Promo -- #PennState Nittany Lions Football

okay we're here talking Penn State football uh this is actually just a promotion though for our live post game show that is coming up on Saturday afternoon following the Penn State West Virginia matchup and I can't wait uh you might be saying well why is a guy uh on a Penn State football YouTube channel with these two teams behind me um well I'm not going to hide who I am and I think you wouldn't respect me if if I did fact is I grew up in New Jersey so obviously when I grew up in New Jersey I did become a native fan of ruter but at the time uh I was not of course uh enamored by their football team so you had to root for teams outside the area and I gravitated towards Michigan but but um I I I came very close to picking Penn State and I'm going to get into that a little bit more in just a few seconds but I just figured uh C major shock Penn State uh football channel what are these two logos doing back there uh that's why I wanted to start with that but let's just remind everybody here what we're here for and that is to tell everybody that if you are a Penn State football fan this is the place you want to be following every game this season starting probably around 4:00 on Saturday uh we're going to go on the air roughly 30 minutes after every game could be a little bit sooner could be a little bit later so definitely L subscribe here to the Penn State YouTube channel so uh you'll get the alert of when we are on our way to starting our show uh after every game matter of fact we'll of course put a promo out there you'll be able to check out the thumbnail it'll say specifically the time that we'll go on the air so that will probably be up again within a half hour of the end of the game so as soon as we know when we're going to be on the air we'll let you know we'll send the promo out so make sure to subscribe here to the Penn State YouTube channel so you can know exactly when we're going to get started and and this is all going to be about you uh obviously uh not me but also I'm going to be joined on a weekly basis by Penn State analysts and next week you well tomorrow this week you can see who's going to join me it's going to be Richie oi so Richie is going to be with me to start our first show together we did shows over on the ruter YouTube channel last year but I'm going to be hosting the shows just by myself this year rich you will come on from you know now and then as an analyst a special guest analyst as will many other Penn State uh special analysts and of course I'm going to re rely on their expertise on this channel to break down Penn State football on a weekly basis uh I can't wait uh I've got uh over 25 years of broadcasting experience I just want to let you guys know that I'm going to make this uh the best show that I can with all the experience that I can and uh when I broadcast for a team and I've been hired to broadcast for teams before I do root for them and so I am uh even though I will be rooting for Penn State uh and but I'm also of course going to be very critical to find out you know what I like or don't like as an outside perspective give my input but most of the analysis the real detailed analysis is going to come from the Penn State experts and they're the ones that'll get to join me each and every week uh that Penn State plays football games of course here on the postgame show before we get before I say goodbye uh a couple of things one I should have had this ready but one I wanted to give you a couple of Trends regarding the game uh coming up uh on Saturday uh matter of fact uh we had a college football we do a college football show over on the arlets football YouTube channel and we preview the Seas the the the week each week we have all sorts of you know handicapping analysis on games and uh so forth uh so here's going to give you a couple of tidbits a couple of trends for this game to keep an eye on Penn State 15-0 straight up 11-2 against the spread in their first five games of the year in the last three years so that's pretty awesome bottom line they have not lost a game the first three games of the year the last three years the first five games the last three years and they're also 11 and 10 against the spread during that time frame also Penn State 9- one against the spread as a road favorite the last two years of course they beat West Virginia last year beat him up 38- 15 uh there's some people thinking and I'm sure you guys already know that there's some uh maybe some blow up after the way that game ended last year but we'll see this year is a different year Anything Can Happen Penn State right now I believe they're an eight-point favorite West Virginia is about plus 250 on the money line i' figured I'd throw that in there because I'm also uh going to try to talk about uh the game ahead the following week uh who were the players to keep an eye on for those opponents the following week and uh we're going to come up with uh top plays of the week um probably going do a top three plays of the game uh an MVP of the game uh and um a poll I'd like to be able to uh put together a poll so uh depending of course on our audience and we hope it's as big as possible uh we want your input and want to be able to uh find out what you guys think about the game so we'll put a poll together each week uh we're looking forward to the interaction um and and look I will tell you this if if for whatever reason you guys really have a hard time watching this because of that I'll take it down you let me know and I'll take it down but again those are my colors what am I going to do you know but this uh post game shows for you guys uh how about this though before I let you go how about this let's check this out this is I found some of this footage on YouTube of course so this is back in 1977-78 and I wanted to bring this up because of the fact that this was when I was watching and a Penn State fan I was a kid I was whatever 9 years old at this time and I was into Penn State I mean see even though it was you know I was meditating towards Michigan the fact is is that Penn State were they they were like the big college football team in my area I grew up in Union City New Jersey that's right across the river from uh Manhattan and so Penn State was like the university in our area it wasn't ruter it was pen state so uh anytime I put on TV you know one of those little tiny black and white TVs and you know you have like five channels I what what is a kid going to do he's going to look for sports hey and these are the shows that I used to watch his channel is remon what is this it'll be fine we won't come here how did I get this how did this come up hold on hold on a second don't you like what that happens when it's live I guess I pressed the wrong button and it I don't know why it did that but I'll get it hold on a second here we go all right let me set it up let's see where I wanted it set up as a as a team all right let's do this again again put this in here and do it the right way let's see press play rather than just individuals and I thought you know that's really good I think there probably is I think everyone you know everyone not really hustles a little more but everyone is a little more really intense that's not by the way no puts out a little more that was Randy Sidler be misconstrued talking about hustle and dedication and Ron Hostetler even gets the coaching staff into the ACT I've really been enjoying the season that the coaches have created a uh an excellent atmosphere out there I'm sure the older they get the wiser they get oh yeah that's what want say onto each Squad some rain must this is what I used to watch the third real is there's the guy on the early season there's the coach the University of Kentucky it's your starts well enough for the nney Lions a picture punt return all right anyway enough of that right shows you how old I am okay so enough of that uh I just again wanted to fill you in I'm not going to talk about my background uh anytime except this promo for the for the postgame show all year but I just want to let you guys again know who I am and um I'm I'm going to do my very best to give you the very best Penn State postgame coverage all season long I hope you enjoy it and um I'm looking forward again to uh as much interaction as possible I'm looking forward to that as well keep in mind again um I'm with the Reds football network they're uh a major scouting Service uh matter of fact the best depth charts in the industry uh for college and pro football uh they're the ones in case you're not aware that put this out okay their draft guides which are awesome so what I'm going to do is I'm going to use the expertise of the scouts over on ourlads uh to uh give their take on what's going on with Penn State's football players that are going to be drafted potentially in the 2025 draft and even talk about the opponents I'll get their input and try to find out hey who are the guys that you're going to look forward to playing next week uh that could be you know a pretty interesting draft pick in 2025 or a top prospect so I'm going to utilize all those resources again to make this the very best postgame show for Penn State uh that you want to watch and uh that's it that's why I wanted to do this uh make sure that everybody knows what's coming up
