Selling Sunset S8: They’re Backkkkkkkk!!!! (Eps 1-3 Recap)

Intro season 8 of selling Sunset just aired and episode 3 is already leaving us with a major Cliffhanger we don't have time to waste so let's talk about it I think Chrishell it is no surprise at all that this season is starting off with crelle we all know that she's that [ __ ] now last season crelle was catching a lot of heat for changing and at some points being Flatout downright a mean girl mostly to Nicole and when I posted my reviews on the last season I found out that a lot of y'all are Die Hard crelle fans look I love me some crelle too she has worked so hard to overcome so much in her life I want her to win so bad like y'all don't even know but I don't think she needs to be a mean girl to do that I understand why she has adopted this [ __ ] everybody who doesn't [ __ ] with me attitude she's been crossed over and walked over one too many times but I stand by my POV from last season she went from one extreme to the other instead of being a pushover now she's just rude if she don't like you like if you look at her the wrong way she's like [ __ ] did you look at me and she has everybody back in her because everybody loves crelle I'm also able to acknowledge that sometimes crelle is in the wrong in certain situations and I notic that some of y'all Die Hard cochell fans are not able to do that for example I think that she majorly crossed the line when she was insinuating or basically just saying that Nicole was on drugs I think that was a cross of the line and she didn't have to go there this season I am hoping to see crelle land in the middle somewhere in the middle between Petty as hell and pushover but we will see where it goes interestingly enough I don't see crelle being the center of the drama this season I think this season is going to mainly focus on Chelsea and her split or divorce from her husband I think it was a divorce but it might just be a split I'm not sure yet but these first three episodes make it seem like Chelsea is going to be the major focus of this season so that's what I'm expecting even with the way that things played out with amanza I feel like in a previous season when crelle was the center of the drama if amanza would have been inviting somebody who crelle didn't like to her birthday party it would have been a major Fallout but instead in this situation amanza was like look I'll just invite him problem solved and they hugged and crelle went to the party now apparently crelle had some kind of issue with a man of stylist I vaguely remember that happening last season but I don't really remember the details so if anybody does just drop them below so I can catch myself up but crelle is saying that he was homophobic towards her and G he called chriselle a fake lesbian I don't know if that's technically homophobic but it is something it is something on a side note Aman's birthday outfit ate down I loved it so much you know I love a little Mage look moment with an outfit and this bday me so much to amanza because she got really sick and had some complications during her spinal surgery which is already big deal but then to have complications on top of that yeah this birthday meant a lot to her so I'm if she wanted to show up half naked then let her do her I am loving this Stanley a listing that crelle has I'm genuinely so proud of crelle I think she is my favorite person from this entire franchise including selling the OC I just love her so much because I know that she's had to overcome so much kind of like Brandy from selling the OC when her and Jason were touring this Stanley a property she told him to buy it and he was like oh no I can't afford this actually he said twice that he couldn't afford it and I was really sitting there like Jason can't afford 38 million I know that man got money y'all know that man got money so I don't know why he playing I was going to buy a house if I was a little bit wealthier this would be it I cannot afford a $38 million house maybe if you keep getting these $20 million listings here on God's green earth I appreciate that you think I can hey y'all it's nay welcome back to my little corner of YouTube this video will contain spoilers it's free so why not the link is in the description box now let's Chelsea get to my girl Chelsea who again I think is going to be the main focus of this season at this point we know that Chelsea and her husband are going through through some type of split or divorce now this might sound odd considering that I do commentary on this show but I didn't look into why they split I love this show I love following their lives but at the core of it all I want to know what they want us to know something about digging around for information that they didn't give me just makes me feel kind of icky especially when it comes to something so sensitive like splitting from your husband who you have two children with I just don't want to go digging for that I follow Chelsea on Instagram and that's how I know that they aren't together right now but if she wants us to know why we will know why because of the show and I think we kind of already know why in these first three episodes this is entertainment for us this is her real life and I don't want to for lack of a better phrase go dumpster diving for information on her life cuz at the end of the day it's not my business it only kind of becomes my business when they put it on the show and I want to talk about it but if it's not in the show I'm not addressing it for things like this if it's things like where did they go hang out on Saturday I might look into that if I care but I'm not I just am not the type of person to go Paparazzi on them and start digging into why she's not with her husband anymore I'm trying to keep it cute so for now we'll put a pin in this until episodes 4-6 aside from that impeding drama Chelsea and Mary are co-listing a property together now these two are the last two that I expected to see in some mess this season but apparently they in some mess this season now Mary called Chelsea a pot stir which look I love Chelsea but she is kind of a potster when I saw a black woman brown skinned like me on this show making money I was like we can do it we can make it happen like I love seeing Chelsea on this show but just like I was real about crelle I'mma be real about Chelsea sometimes she do be stirring the pot a little bit like are we really truly going to sit here and act like she don't be stirring the pot some sometimes she does and it's okay almost everybody in that office has stirred the pot turned the fire up sprinkled a little salt in it like that's just what they do that said I have no idea what in the hell will compel Mary to say something like that in front of Emma who she knows is really close to Chelsea I know that M and Chelsea are close just from Instagram so Mary has to know which means she had to know that that was going to get back to Chelsea so at that point you just asking for the drama and now they have this listing together Chelsea's already mad about that and Chelsea is showing up to this broker's open as Chelsea I am no Fashion Icon I can barely afford to look at the outfits that they have on this show fits are actually one of my favorite Parts about this show outside of the houses cuz I love looking at the houses but I love knowing how they're going to dress every season especially when you look back at season one and you see oh they was dressing kind of Forever 21 is in season one now they like bad [ __ ] so I love the fashion now part of me is like Chelsea why would you wear that short skirt and then another part of me is like y'all all dressed like that y'all dressed a little risque the skirt was definitely short and Mary said a few people came up to her I didn't see anybody come up to her but I don't get to see everything maybe editing some stuff out so maybe some people did come up to her I don't know I think a part of it for me Mary bringing this up is getting dangerously close to she wore that so she deserved it had a couple people come up to me and be like what is she wearing you know it's not professional like her her but her HooHa is like out oh really so I'm like you really shouldn't be coming to know what a woman wears I understand that it's a work setting but all of y'all dressed y'all all be having your boobs out your legs like y' this is how y'all dress and this is how Chelsea has always dress she's very expressive with her sense of style so the other part of me is like girl why are you complaining and I don't think that women should be told how to dress in or outside of the workplace really as I said I enjoy a nice little risque outfit you know I don't go out of my way to show my nipples but I also don't go out of my way to cover them up they exist they're there if they out they out what you want me to do about it but I also wouldn't have them out at work but I also don't work at a place like the old group where it doesn't matter so you know what I mean it's like a lot of variables and I'm just like Mary probably just should have kept her mouth shut and not said anything about it it's really not that big of a deal with the O group and like let's be very clear here they are real estate agents yes they're also reality stars and people love watching reality stars for what they wear so they're not necessarily held to the same professional attire as other real estate agents might be and that just is what it is love it or hate it I think that Chelsea would have preferred Mary pulled her to the side versus bringing it up in front of Jason and Brett and now it's like you got the bosses in on this now you're trying to make me look bad she did feel like it was kind of putting her on the spot or calling her [ __ ] in a way in front of the bosses and that's kind of like crossing the line a little bit I think I land in the middle on this situation I see where both ladies are coming from but again all of the girlies dress a little out there and Chelsea was like girl your boobs were literally out the other day like what are you talking about and did y'all also peep that after that conversation with Chelsea Mary whose stomach was out that day started doing like this like covering up her stomach Now Chelsea had me absolutely cracking up when she said this you would come to me in front of our two bosses to talk to me about my dress sents when I see your tits out every now and again and that's perfectly fine because I think you have amazing tips nice ass compliment if you ask me I would love for Chelsea to tell me that now no matter what you say about Chelsea you got to give credit where credit is due she showed up to that interview for that house with a client on Deck ready to look at the place at first I didn't know if that was a good strategy or not because the owner seemed a little caught off guard by it but they let the person look and they ended up picking Chelsea along with Mary so they loved her I love that Chelsea has a very go-getter attitude because I'm the complete opposite of that I'm very reserved I might not seem like it on YouTube but in my career I'm very reserved I don't really like speak out that much so it's so nice to see a woman who looks like me absolutely [ __ ] dropped dead gorgeous did I just give myself a compliment I just say I was Dro dead that's not what I was trying to say but it came out like that but anyway it's nice seeing Chelsea someone who looks like me be a go-getter and get the things that she wants before everything went down with Mary at Amanda's birthday party Emma Chelsea and crelle were having lunch they were talking about if they were going to go or not and Chelsea said this that's why we have our Inner Circle our Co Circle people that we trust in we depend on and then there's certain people that are on the Outer Circle we don't have any expectations for those people because those people are no not our friends yeah they are really not fighting those rumors about them being clickish and actually I don't think they're trying to fight those rumors they're like feeding into them at this point about that altercation that Mary had with Chelsea at Aman's birthday party I don't know why in the hell Roma was there but he should have let them handle that woman to woman woman to woman oh man I get that he was supporting his wife but he should have just set that one all the way out like sit on the bench Roma this was this was not your time to step up to the plate he was grabbing Chelsea's hand and grabbing at her arm to try to calm her down and like I know that's your wife that you're trying to protect but she wasn't in danger Chelsea wasn't about to punch her in the face and also why are you grabbing Chelsea you're a man and I know that he wasn't grabbing her aggressively and I don't think romae is the type to be like aggressive towards a woman or anything like that but you're still a man grabbing at a woman to try to calm her down don't do that like just keep your hands completely off of her and I really hope Mary checked him about that later cuz he needed to be checked on that and I'm actually kind of surprised that Chelsea didn't check him on it and now I don't even feel bad that she called him Rome instead of ROM feel comfortable with you guys having wait one second r no no no now who I do think we're going to be seeing another side of Bre this season is Bri the ending of episode 3 is really setting Bri up to be the barrel bad news and that's putting it lightly the way that it is being presented is Bri is going to find out that Chelsea's husband is cheating on her before Chelsea did now I really like bri I know that Chelsea and Bri had that whole Nick Cannon situation if you're unaware Bri has a son a baby by Nick Cannon and last season her and Chelsea got into this whole Tiff because Chelsea doesn't like nck kenon she thinks that he is actively bringing babies into this world and he's not an active participant in his children's lives and I gave all my thoughts on that last season but just as a quick recap I tend to agree with Chelsea in the sense that you can't physically be present for all of those kids if they're not by the same mother so Nick Cannon is producing a lot of children whose lives he will not be an active participant in I could try to argue with me about that but I'm I'm firm on that I agree with Chelsea on that but I'm not going to dislike like bri because of that I like bri everything I've seen about her on the show tells me that she's a great mother she's a hardworking woman and I like her whatever kind of relationship she's in is none of my business just like Chelsea's relationship would be none of my business if it wasn't on this show Nick Canon ain't on this show I ain't worried about Nick Canon I think Bri's a good person and I want to see her on the show I am happy that Jason was able to get her back and I desperately like I am begging I this I do want to go looking for I want to know if he ended up giving her a raise in the split or in her Commission because that's really what she wanted at the end of the day now I don't think they going to touch on that because if she got more then that would lead other people to have to get more and Jason didn't want to do you know like it's this whole snowball so I think even if he did increase her split she's not telling and he's not going to say anything either last but not least we Alanna have a new girl in town now so far I like Alana she says she is here for one thing and one thing only and that's to get the old group on her resume my name's Alana gold the oppenheim group is known globally so I'm here to advance my career and I'm here to rise up and I can respect that she owns a town though so she not starting from the bottom or nothing it's not surprising or anything that she's working at the O group she probably has connection she might know a person who know a person who know a person because if you own a town you got money she's either a silver Spooner which we already know how I feel about them or she married into money either way she got the money I'm going to bet on the fact that she had the money before marrying because her last name is gold so I'm thinking somewhere along the line she had some ancestors who were dealing in Gold because a lot of last names are just descriptors of what your ancestors did like if you meet someone with the last name blacksmith somewhere along the line someone in their family was a blacksmith some people have last names that are slave names so you can trace that right back to the plantation like I have a friend from high school whose last name is white and well we know why her last name is white and she's a black girl and it's because somewhere along the line one of her ancestors was a slave and they got the last name of their owner owned by the white man and that's how that name happened so I think Alana has some gold in her family but we know how I feel about the Silver Spoon babies they were never not going to make money their life is literally nepotism so eh I'm not really like super excited that like I'm not as excited for Alana as I am for crelle someone who had to claw her way to the top she is as Gio from the OC office will say a little green she's a little new but she's a hard worker and I think she's going to be coming for some of these girls next in about a year or two she knew that she was too new to real estate to get that deal that Chelsea and Mary got but yet and still she showed up to the interview and she showed up with a gift for the clients now I don't know if that's seen as like overstepping or if it's seen as a good thing but Chelsea and Mary didn't do it then again Chelsea and Mary have their years of experience to show that they can that they're good at their job so they don't really need to do you know gifts I guess but I thought that was a nice touch as always you know I cannot The houses leave without talking about the houses because that is why we are all here well that's why we all came here initially the drama kept us but the houses brought us here I briefly spoke about chelle's house on Stanley a absolutely obsessed I mean it's a $38 million house so how could I not be plus it had that hidden room which like who doesn't love a hidden room I love that we got more insight on how the agents actually get listings right from episode one with the Manhattan Beach property Jason was explaining and basically showing us how they go about making a deal with the client we do everything we have a full coner service you know we can augment staging artwork cleaning photogra we tackle everything you don't have to hear from us until you get a wire transfer into your bank account you know we'd like to bring on a couple of agents that you like everyone is outstanding here and how the girls have to meet those clients and basically get the job and the client gets to decide who is going to be the one to get the listing I love this because on selling the OC Gio got into this whole thing about thinking that Kayla stole a listing from him and Mary actually made a cameo on that episode and she was like well that's not what really happened like the buyer decided to go with you he didn't want to go with Gio so now we actually see that in action and we see how this is happening and I guess that's just how it works with these $20 million plus properties it's the seller's choice on who gets to be the agent and that's kind of fun it does keep the competition Outro going I know that Netflix releases all of the selling Sunset episodes so I know y'all are going to be binging them so my commentary is going to be going up back to back to back today I'm doing 1 through three tomorrow I'm going to do 4 through 6 Sunday I'm going to drop 7 through 9 and then on Monday I will drop 10 and 11: when they announce the reunion I may or may not do a watch party for it over on my Discord so again if you haven't joined my Discord server do that cuz that's where I do all of the watch parties at it's really
