HUGE Week 1 Big Ten Previews and Reviewing the Connor Stalions' Sign Stealer Netflix Documentary

for it we also have bro casual bro casual hello how are Introductions you how's it going tonight I thought you said Kent was coming on who is this guy no don't give it away there are fans out there that will hurt his mom oh no you know college football fans are crazy so I have to protect my identity while we talk about these teams today if you don't mind yeah I I apologize should we should we restart and yeah yeah well there we go okay hey hey welcome into the Big 10 huddle we have bro casual with us today hello everybody I'm Batman no I think I I think you lost it when you said I am Batman all right uh we have got a lot of fun stuff to to go over tonight of course Philip here it's fake casual Phillip coming after you um we are going to talk about the stallion sence stealer documentary kind of review that give our our Recaps of what we thought and then in addition to that we're also going to do a little game I guess you could say we're going to pick one game for every single week of the season but there's kind of some rules and stipulations there games we go to we'll get to that when we get there and then we will preview Penn State West Virginia Michigan vers Fresno State Ohio State vers Aran and if we have time we'll get to LSU verse USC so should be a great time I'm not going to waste time I'm going to let bro casual give us his thoughts on this stallion oh hold on I got to put the thing up there so I don't there we go I'm going to let bro ha will give his thoughts on the Connor Stalions stallions Netflix documentary sign Steeler uh bro casual this this was uh Untold and we were told most of it but we were told about it what were your thoughts that's that's funny because I actually live streamed it on Twitter it got taken down off YouTube I tried to do both and it like got removed off YouTube but that's besides the point I said that exact same thing I was like most of this has been told so far this is not really Untold but I will say I learned some things from this documentary so if I could I'm going to go quickly but I have some anti- Michigan takes and some pro- Michigan takes that I took away from the doc documentary and I'll start with the anti- Michigan stuff first of all I think we all knew this already but it got confirmed to me finally you know for sure stallions was at the central Michigan game and Dave poroy was the one that confirmed that he was there he told the documentary crew that Connor told him that he was definitely the guy that was there number two Conor stallions definitely bought tickets and gave tickets to friends and family and received back film that he used to like kind of decipher signs and his excuse of I already knew the signs so them sending me the signs didn't really help me just does not fly with me it just doesn't work and that's cheating and then the third thing is that uh you know Conor stallions is just a huge douchebag I think that was the big takeaway from the documentary in general um he said that he didn't want attention but then he went to the Ohio State game he was talking about how he dapped up Michael Barrett after the game and he went to the national championship game he had a camera crew following him in there but he didn't want attention though so that's just kind of weird to me and then quickly the pro Michigan stuff he quit or got fired whatever happened they tried to make that a big deal it doesn't matter to me how he left Michigan Michigan still went on to win six more regular season games or whatever it was and then two playoff games so without him there Michigan was still a great team and they won all of those games with the other teams having the knowledge that hey they might be stealing our signs for example Michigan State the first week it came out they called every play in from the sideline and they still lost 49 to Zer and I don't believe that they had Alabama or Washington signed so I think that if you're Pro Michigan person your argument should be well we didn't have him the second half of the Season we still won all those games so that was my takea away from the whole documentary I don't know I was was he uh you know signing the signs in from the crowd did the did did they know where where science was and they were signing him I'm just saying there could be something there no I'm just kidding I mean Zach and I are on the record multiple times saying Mich look Michigan didn't need the signs to win the National Championship in 2023 do they did they need the signs to go undefeated in 2022 and to only lose one game in 2021 I don't know about that but I mean that's really hard to decipher but at the end of the day they didn't need it for the last few games there and then they won in the playoffs and had a little bit of help there at the end with Alabama I don't think that was necessarily as uh as dominant of a game of some people say but at the end of the day they didn't beat themselves by some of the stuff in special teams so I mean it they didn't need Conor stallion to win in 2023 and so if if anything like I I get that everybody's celebrating Conor stallions and stuff like that after this because he kind of looks a martyr he kind of looks like you know I'll take one for the team guys don't worry you guys go on and it's like dude you took one for the team and everybody thinks your team is fraudulent now like your team is the one that took it like I just which to me as a college football fan like if I'm putting my Ohio state fandom the side for a second like that just sucks I hate all this crap about like oh was that Championship real I hate that there are still people that can argue about like the 1940s national championship ship who really won that one or like 1997 was it Michigan or Nebraska like that was one of the reasons why I was so excited about the playoffs and actual national championship game we still have Georgia fans that think oh yeah Georgia would have won uh well you didn't you lost so you know get over it but anyway um some of my stuff with it was the NCA I mean they were they 100% rushed their NOA to get ahead of this because Conor stallions had no idea that they were going to put he was at the central Michigan game in the NOA or in the draft of the NOA uh notice of allegations because he was out there trying to say oh yeah that wasn't me like does this guy even look like me it's like yeah dude he does look like you he looks like somebody put a fake beard on or like grew out their beard for a minute and uh and like we have the notice of allegations or the draft I should say the notice of allegations saying it was you and then literally Dave pornoy like two minutes later two minutes earlier it's like oh yeah he was at that game yeah yeah he told me that was the big thing for me like when he admitted it it was like okay obviously it was you but now we have it confirmed yeah yeah H hilariously Dave pornoy on Twitter was like I never said that that was him and I'm like what are you dude it's what are you it's right there what are you doing can you anyway yeah but but my biggest thing that was missing from it right because you always get one of these documentaries there's always something you want to see that wasn't there my biggest thing actually I have two things this is the biggest one my biggest thing was when H what the heck happened with the vacuums all right there was this whole LLC with Blake Korum and everything Blake Corum said he didn't sign on like I I wanted to hear about that what went on with these vacuums did the vacuums fund the tickets you know like was he just sitting out broken vacuums and and scamming people just so that way he could get tickets people thought they were getting a $500 vacuum and they were actually getting junk like I don't know was that how he was funding the tickets who knows I mean they did bring up Uncle T so maybe he was the one doing it in the uh with it all but uh and then the other thing that I thought was really interesting was like they they literally have ticket receipts for Conor stallions buying tickets on the 50 yard line on both sides of the field at Big 10 games like you're not just buying tickets for your mom so that way she can sit on both sides of the field and like if you're buying tickets for your friends and family why aren't you buying them all together like your friends hate your family like they don't want to sit with your family I like you're buying one ticket on both sides of I was talking Zach beforehand about this like no I shouldn't say nobody most people don't go to football games by themselves and like most people don't ride to a football game with somebody else just to sit by themselves on opposite ends of the stadium like what are you going to do wave to each other like hey I'm over here at the 50 yard light like I don't know I just no I think it just plays into and this is my last thing about the anti- Michigan stuff but there was an extreme amount of gaslighting on the part of the Michigan uh whatever you want to call it conglomerate in this documentary it's like the main thing that they said that they kept harping on was like Ohio State hacked our computers that's how they got the information and I kept saying like when I was live streaming I was like why does that matter it doesn't matter where the information came from you if you had the information on your computer you're guilty anyways like that's a completely separate issue sure let's go after Ryan day or whoever the private investigation was after this the facts of the matter are though you did have what you had on your computer and that makes you guilty bro it doesn't matter how the information was obtained there that would kept happening throughout the documentary would they were like well yeah like uh you know he was at the C like on Twitter today for example he was at the central Michigan game but you know he was actually helping Central Michigan decipher their sign so he Central Michigan could be closer which just still against the rules like yeah I was like that doesn't matter he was at the game like the amount of deflection and gaslighting I is the perfect words for it from the Michigan fan base and even inside the documentary was just baffling to me yeah uh I'm gonna let Zach uh give his questions here in just a second I just want to say one last thing and this is my last thing Zach you and I said from the very beginning Michigan fans the person you should be mad at here is not your players is not Conor stallion the person you should be mad M at here is Jim Harbaugh because if he didn't know what was going on which you know he got a game ball so I don't know maybe you that was kind of weird to me but if he didn't know what was going on like you you've allowed this team that was good enough to win the National Championship in 2023 to have this this asteris or tainted or whatever it is you've you've allowed that to happen because you didn't have enough control of your program to know that the sign stealer guy you know had a secret underground Group which is kind of funny to me um and he was going over and Beyond to where it was against the rules I don't know like it just it confirms more and more to me that like if I'm a Michigan fan I'm thrilled about the national championship but man am I am I mad at Jim Harbaugh because like dude just keep a hold of your program because you were good enough you could have done it like you had the super seniors you had everybody you could have done it so anyway Zach you did not watch the um the the documentary so I'm going to allow you ask one or two questions we don't have time for a bunch but one or two questions about the documentary and me and bro casual all right who's Kent right exactly bro casual will answer our qu your questions as best we possibly can yeah first of all I I apologize for laughing throughout the segment but you know Dylan came on and just started commenting in the chat and I I just could not stop laughing so thank you for that um so this is a bit of a joke question H like how worth how worth it is it to watch this thing like I got I got other things to do like is this worth 87 minutes of my time I'll let you take that bro casual no okay that's that's all my question no um I and see this is the one question and I tweeted about this and I'd be curious your guys thoughts I'm sorry Dylan just cracked me up it's great there's other good comments in here too but this uh legitimately I I'm stupified I would love both of your thoughts on this um a comment that has been thrown around on Twitter that Conor sallan said in the documentary was I don't break the rules I exploit them and part of that I was listening to to someone talk about this that apparently the rule is a little fuzzy about Advanced scouting and so my question is if Connor stallion just says oh I didn't think we're breaking the rules but it's clear we are I'm sorry we'll stop like does this thing just go like is this thing dead by November of last year I don't know I don't think so actually because I think if he admits guilt last year there he's well first of all I know what he's worried about he's worried that they'll get banned from the playoffs last year and immediately not be able to make it and that was the talk like if you go back to that time that's what everyone was saying like they shouldn't go to the playoffs this year they were trying to get them out of the playoffs that year like opposing fan bases and people that just didn't like Michigan in general so I don't think that he I think he was smart not to do it but now like after the fact I don't know if it really matters if he was just like hey like I know what the rule was and went and read the rule today it is really vague it just says that there's no in-person scouting allowed and you're not allowed to use uh you know cell phones or cameras to film the other Sidelines he technically didn't do that so I do see where he's coming from like where he's living in that gray area like yeah he he might have bought the tickets and got the got the people to go do that but it wasn't him per se so he is really I mean that's really stretching the rule as far as you can stretch it but it to me unless I'm reading unless I miss something in the rule exactly I don't think that he by the letter of the law broke the broke the rule when it comes to the filming stuff he was at the central Michigan game though yeah that was for sure a broken rule right there and that he can't really deny at this point so um it it to me it just comes down to how much is the NCAA going to punish Michigan versus is punishing just Conor stallions for being at that Central Michigan game because the other stuff like you said it's fuzzy it's kind of in the gray area yeah I mean the fuzziness of it um and and Brian is saying here he says he paid people to do it it says you can't send people to do it either I think if I'm I'll have to look up the rule exactly to read it again but I think the rule says like staff members can't be the ones who are going so if Conor Stalin is paying the recruiting analyst guy or assistant recruiting director guy to go like yeah he was a staff member for Michigan there there is technically like a rule being broken there but if he's just sting his buddy or his mom to do it like Yeah by the letter of the law I guess he didn't break a rule but I mean the the like the the message of the rule or the intent of the rule is for you not to get that information and if he got it then that's them saying well you sure you didn't do the one part but you still got the information which I guess he could maybe get away with that but I don't know like that just seems like a really far-fetched thing that you're going to get to try and get out of it um I mean I guess you could possibly if your lawyer's really really good but I don't know I I I don't I see where Michigan fans are coming from a little bit there but I don't think it tracks exactly oh yeah he Jr like him being in person and scouting though for sure was broken yeah oh yeah yeah yeah for the central Michigan game which like Josh Peyton said there were other games which I'm like dude Josh you got to put that information out there if there were other games I think there was a picture of somebody that was bald at Western Michigan um a year or two ago or something like that but it wasn't him he just like had a hat on or I don't even know think he had a hat on I think he was just bald it was like dude you're really stupid here all right uh Zach one more question really fast then we got to move on uh that that was it I I don't really have too many I thought you said you too oh your first one was it worth watching so um all right Philip bro casual or is it Hunter dick uh Yankee says I'm watching the Rose bow on mute right now it's the best game of my fan lifetime listen this is exactly what Zach and I have said like the NCAA you you can get rid of it like you can vacate it but the fans still experienced it the footage is still there they're still going to relive it so it was a it was a great game yeah it was a great game to watch I would have peed my pants if I was a Michigan fan watching some of those punt returns remember talking about that all right uh we're going to have quick commercial really fast and then we're going to come back and we are going to do a little pick them game for each week of the season and we'll see if bro casual comes back we're going to pick one game each week we would like to go to but here's the rules uh rule number one you can only go to each Stadium once you can only go to each Big 10 Stadium once and Rule Number Two you can't watch a team more than twice so you cannot go to Ohio State Michigan Ohio State Oregon and Ohio State Penn State can't do that you got to pick two of those three if you want to go to two Ohio State games so we are going to go week by week and we're each going to give our pick see what we get the same see if we get different kind of give some analysis and uh then go from there so Kent we will let you go first since this was your idea since this is what you want to do which somebody else did this too right yeah I was just going to say it actually wasn't my idea I stole it from Ison big podcast and uh I did run it by Jeffrey the Greek before we started uh you know doing the show tonight and he gave me the okay so shout out to Jeffrey the Greek he's one of the best in the business and him and Jordan did this on their podcast about three weeks ago and I thought it was fun and um let's do it should be fun you want me to do my first pick yeah I was just gonna say Jeffrey Greek's awesome friend of the program uh he and Jordan have both been on here before and we love every time we can have him on we'll try to get him on again at some point but yes Kent do your week one pick all right so for week one I just want to specify this was harder than I thought it was going to be in general to try to make sure that I only watch a team twice and don't go to the same stadium more than once so with that being said this is the only time that I'm not at a big 10 stadium and I kind of had to do it just the way that everything else shook out I'm going week one to Hawaii heading out to Hawaii and watching UCLA play the fighting rainbows that's on week one right or did I do this that's week two oh my God are you serious I messed up the first week no that's week one isn't it oh it is week two I had it on week one on my schedule yeah it's on my phone oh that's wild are you kidding me let's uh let's pretend like it's week one this has it wrong it's week one you're good oh I was gonna say yeah this has it wrong it's week one let me check now Kent is going to Hawaii that's a that's a really underrated pick because of the location right excellent starting the football season out in the most beautiful place on Earth and I'm going to go watch you know and that's the other thing too I didn't want to watch UCLA really at all so I just I I thought why not watch them in like one of the most beautiful places on Earth like I said there you go there you go all right Zach where you going I'm going to Vegas baby uscl LSU that's where I'm going too I figured it was an easy one to kind of get one so that way I wouldn't be picking a big 10 Stadium uh I I I'll be honest I went off this list so I didn't even think about UCLA Hawaii I thought about it for week two since it was on week two but yeah I uh I want to see USC UCLA that could be a a lot of fireworks in that one all right Zach we will let you go first on week two disregard the UCLA Hawaii who's your pick for week two I'm going to the big house to see them take on Texas I think that game is going to be spectacular yeah and I yeah it's a matchup that we didn't get to see in the playoff a year ago uh but should be really good this year I agree that's where I'm going as well I do think Texas I do lean Texas to win that one uh I I'm a little nervous about Michigan's offense but hey if Michigan has really good offense that would be an electric atmosphere and be really cool for Michigan fans Kent where are you going I'm with you guys I'm sitting right next to you guys at that game I I mean that's the best game of the week right I mean yeah I don't see any other game that you would want to be at it kind of stinks that you're burning the big house on a non-big 10 team but it's Texas so it's like yeah you don't want to miss that one it's going to be electric I think yep can't go to Michigan Oregon all right number three my choice in week three I was actually doing Alabama Wisconsin not really uh other great choices here I thought about Oregon Oregon State rivalry game get to witness that a little bit I also thought about excuse me I also thought about Maryland Virginia Notre Purdue since we did pick Purdue to win that one Zack I think that's going to be a bad pick at the end of the season uh but ultimately I went with Alabama Wisconsin uh but same thing with Michigan I just I don't know if Wisconsin's offense is going to be able to keep up with Alabama Kent where you going this is going to sound insane but I I have to get these two team uh no offense to Indiana at all but I'm I'm going to see UCLA once again I'm going to go out to California and I'm going to watch Indiana at UCLA and I think you'll see why as I finish out the rest of the 14 picks I have some really good games down the road and I kind of had to fill this one because of where I was watching other teams and didn't want to double up on anything so I'm at Indiana UCLA I don't love it I'm not happy about it I'll be honest I really wanted to do uh Notre Dame Purdue and I had that one originally and then I had to switch it around because of like I said this was kind of difficult going to Ross a later on I like it Kent all right Zach where you going I'm with Kent I want to see I want to see kurtt signet's big 10 opener and I want to sit in the Rose Bowl so let's go together let's do it let's go I love it right I was not expecting that I'll be at Camp Randle all by myself at the 50 yard line with yeah but don't worry I'll have a I'll have a seat on the other side of the 50 yard line I can go to later on I'll meet people over there there you go don't film anything though yeah don't film anything oh I can film stuff I don't work for anybody I can film and I just can't send it to anybody that's true all right but Instagram you know nobody said anything about Conor getting stuff off Instagram okay anyway uh all right week four Kent where you going uh week four I'm at I I'm sorry I'm at Minnesota and I'm watching the Hawkeyes play The Golden Gophers I think this is could to be a great game I think Iowa is a better team um I think they're going to win the game but any time you're going on the road in the Big 10 you're going to face some challenges and this has been you know a pretty back and forth ride rivalry if you remember last year the whole punt return thing the you know fake fair catch or whatever invalid fair catch um so there's a little bit of bad blood just from last year and I think that it's G to be an intense game I'm excited to be at this game you Zach I'm I'm I'm just following you everywhere Ken I'm going there too yeah we we picked Minnesota to upset Iowa in that game did you okay yeah and that's not the worst pick though yeah I I think it's gonna be a great game though yeah for sure uh in this one I picked Ruckers Virginia Tech I figured going out um what inter Sandman out there at Virginia Tech could get to that game Ruckers if they win that one obviously we didn't pick it here but if they win that one you're going to see uh a really invigorated Ruckers team for that so uh I'm banking on that one uh to enjoy all right number five Zack we'll go to you first um I was going they were my other choice uh Lane Stadium I I am going to ruter to see them take on Washington in a Friday night game defending runner up I don't know if that's a thing yeah National Runner UPS yeah yeah where I think ruers is gonna beat the the national Runners up but yeah there you go I think it's gonna be an electric atmosphere though yes especially if they beat Virginia Tech and they're three and0 um all right I am choosing Oregon at UCLA see uh the Rose Bowl Stadium see Oregon play won't be a very competitive game I don't think but it will at least be interesting to watch and have some fun with Kent where you going I am uh this is week five right I'm at USC I'm going to watch the Badgers and the Trojans battle it out I'm out in California again originally I had a west coast swing that I was doing like uh week three four and five and I'm realizing I had to switch some stuff around so I'm going west coast to Minnesota back to the West Coast to see Wisconsin this could be an interesting game because I think that both of these two teams have a ton of question marks coming into this year and like they've been picked to be anywhere from 4- eight to 9 and three both of these teams have so this is just going to be a kind of like show me game for both of these teams and it'll be really interesting I think to be at that one yeah that's a good pick yeah I almost picked that one I uh I wanted to go to USC a little bit later on so I had to pick them somewhere else but uh that was one I really wanted to go to all right number six we'll start with me my week six is Ruckers at Nebraska I'm seeing Ruckers for the second time but I am going to Nebraska to see him I won't get to go to Ruckers Stadium unfortunately but I will get to go to Nebraska which is a stadium I've always wanted to go to and uh we picked Ruckers here so if Ruckers is winning this one 5 and0 uh that you you there might be some biring couches in pasca way I don't know Kent what do you got I'm right with you and for the same reason too I've never been to a Nebraska football game and that's exactly I had it was like one of my top like three things that I had to do this season if I in this fake scenario um was go out to a game at Nebraska so I thought that this would be a gem I I definitely would love to be at that game week six I'm joining in the car boys let's go go yeah I can't believe how many we have in common Zach yeah that's fun is that the time we've all three been at the same game because we went to Michigan Texas too right yeah we also went there that's that's two two thers I think we all might be the same one here Kent where you going let's see where would I go this week uh let's see I think I'll go to Oregon and watch say Illinois yeah I'm going to go to Purdue Illinois that week no obviously you know everyone's been talking about it all offseason this is pretty much to me I think I I said it's the game of the year in the Big 10 I think it's the number one game it's the most important game it's gonna decide who's going to win the conference I think so yeah that game is massively important um would love to be there for real and obviously I'm very excited to watch it on TV it's gonna be great game great game can't wait yep you going there too Zack oh yeah yeah yeah I'm there as well I would argue game of the year in the nation Georgia Tech Georgia and uh not Georgia Tech or maybe Georgia Tech now that they beat Florida State but uh Georgia and Texas we give them a little bit of the run for their money but Ohio State Oregon I think this is going to be a very good game or very big game for the entire nation so all right let's go week eight and Zach where you going on week eight boy we had a ton of away game wins here wow okay we you go so I'm seeing Oregon again at Ross a okay because we I mean personally I don't have this but we we made this pick that we thought there might be some spoiler makers happening in this game yeah so I think it it I think if anything it's going to be a fun it'll be a fun game little Friday night spoiler maker action can't get mad about that uh I am going this was like my throwaway week if you ever play uker you always have to have kind of like a throwaway uh hand when you get all the numbers you know how many faces so this was my week it's kind of throw away I went Iowa Michigan State I don't really have any nice things to say about it other than it kept me from picking a different one go ahead K I actually like that pick more than you think those games have been really competitive especially last year that game was super close well all Iowa's games were pretty close because they couldn't um this was this was a week another thing that I had like in my top five I had to do and it was really difficult to do it made the whole the whole schedule hard for me I had to go to Northwestern and see this field because they're playing two home games at Wrigley so I think they you know that only leaves a handful of more games that I can actually go see this uh you know Stadium by the lake so I'm going to go to see Wisconsin for I believe the second time yes I'm seeing Wisconsin for the second time and I actually think Northwestern could beat Wisconsin and it'll be really fun atmosphere you know only what 5,000 6,000 people there would be super fun to be at that game I'm excited about that one I'll go to Northwestern they could win that one for sure all right number nine uh I am going to uh this is another little bit of a throwaway one but I have a little bit better better reasoning here I'm going to Washington at Indiana I think Kirk Signet has got the home crowd around him you beat the uh runner runner UPS last year in Bloomington I mean I mean Kirk sigy might get on that mic and just start screaming everybody sucks this team like he just might be going crazy on that mic so uh if Kirk cetti gets that done we we picked Washington here but I think Indiana if they if they play like the team some people think they could be they might be able to get it done Kent where you going I am going to go to seed Northwestern once again backtack weeks I'm going to go watch the Wild Cats gotta see a game at Iowa again another like bucket list thing I've never done you know go do the wave go do uh all the Iowa things I don't know what else there is that during the game I guess uh try some of that Iowa beer that they have for the nil Collective and then uh possibly see another really good football game you know I again I'm really high on Iowa this year so I think that they're going to beat Northwestern but you know they're they're always frisky northwestern's always in the mix and that would be a fun game to be at I'm gonna pick Iowa versus Northwestern that's what they're known for being frisky Zach where you going I am going to Indiana Washington as well with youjr nice well you come stay at the crib you know Washington in that game these are your picks right here actually did this too I don't know if you guys even tried to do this but I'm assuming that you did I wanted to see all 18 teams at one point as well did you guys do that too or no I don't think I'm seeing Illinois okay see like I almost kept them off but I was like I want to see all 18 so uh I'm going to go to Illinois and watch Minnesota for the second time so uh Minnesota at Illinois probably my second least excited I am for this game like for the whole season I should say um I I just realized I may have I may have uh exploited a rule did you break a rule no Connor don't do it no I I don't think yet rule don't come clean just say you do it I I Didn't Do It um Iowa Wisconsin yeah at at uh kinnick I I would love to go to kinck at some point and I think that's a good rivalry game old big 10 West foes yeah I agree I want to go do the wave uh I don't know what other Iowa things there are as Kent said but um I do want to go do the wave and uh whatever other Iowa things there are drinking beer I suppose um yeah I want to do the wave when Ohio State's not playing them and not get killed by 31 points that's when I want to do the wave yeah that that makes sense that makes sense all right what are we on now week 11 Zach it's to you um uh so I feel like like since I live in Pennsylvania I got to go to to Beaver Stadium at some point and I'm seeing them take on the Huskies same here we'll road trip together man actually I'll stay at your crib this time you stay at my house yeah there we go there we go Kent you join us do you have an extra room because I'm coming as well beautiful I believe this is the uh I I could be mistaken here but I I heard a couple doesn't matter how long ago it was is this the white out game oh I think that's a good question it it probably is I think I think that this is the white out game that's why I picked this one um and obviously I just want to go to Bieber Stadium as well so like yeah that was why I picked this one also just not a lot of other good games this week if you look up and down it's like H ruter Minnesota might be a good game but the rest of them it's like I don't know not really other ones you could have chosen because we already went to Oregon already went to at least I already went to UCLA all right number 12 12 uh my pick here I'm going to go with Nebraska at USC my second time seeing both of these teams but I do want to go out to the Coliseum see that game and hey if Nebraska wins this one that could be a huge turning point for them and not just their season because who knows what their season's going to look like but just for their I mean beating a blue blood something Nebraska hasn't done at least in the Big 10 uh hasn't done in a while so would be very cool for them I'm going to pick that one uh and also it's always fun to see USC high-powered offense fun to see Kent where you going I have not seen Maryland play yet this year so I'm going to go to ruter at Maryland and also I do think that this could be an intriguing game because as we know the history with Maryland start out really strong usually this could be where they're in the middle of a a Downs slide and ruter is winning a game that like could put him in an even better bowl game at this point or maryn is doing something they don't do usually in winning a game what would this be in like early November which would be incredible so uh I think it could be an intriguing matchup anyways but uh yeah Rutter at Maryland I am going to USC as well USC nebras and part of it we picked Nebraska to upset USC uh I I think it's going to be an electric atmosphere so but yeah I just realized I've been neglecting the chat I apologize chat Philip said Minnesota versus Iowa final score 3 to2 or seven to three two safeties in a field goal um BMA finally going down and then they also said Ruckers versus Minnesota has the story lines though forgot about that I if if I didn't have to do the two games like rule I would have gone there uh I would have picked them over Penn State Washington but alas although now that I know you can't break the rules Zach you have to big story line I'm missing with that game Athan cak Manis oh oh yeah of course yeah these teams play so again just kind of going off my own little weird rule that I made on the side that I wanted to see everyone play also I think this is a Friday night game so I could be mistaken but um Friday night games I I meant to mention this earlier when Zach was picking a couple probably the best move to make because you can get back home and you see the whole Saturday slate still you're not missing anything by going to a Saturday game so I'll go I'll go on this week I'll go to a Friday game and I'll still get to watch all these other games at home so I'll go Purdue at Michigan State great Point Z good pick so I I picked this out of the fact that I couldn't go I couldn't really go anywhere else or I didn't want to see any of the other games um but I'm I'm doing Maryland uh hosting Iowa all right yeah I it's be very roomy it'll be basketball season by then the Maryland fans are saving up their money for basketball so be very roomy for you it's a comfort play um and also I think because of the way Iowa is I think it could be competitive so I only make that joke if you're a Maryland fan I only make that joke because that was the joke that the uh the guys who were in big banter would make all the time uh for Maryland they were like oh yeah just go to football games after basketball season starts because nobody goes they're all spending their money on basketball tickets um I am going to Penn State at Minnesota I want to go up to Minnesota want to see that Stadium see everything there and Penn State sounds like a great opponent uh what does Penn State look like by then if they are doing well do they choke on the chicken bone that would be really really fun to see all right week 14 Zack um which this is a hard one right Zack I mean yeah I mean I I thought about the old Oaken Bucket I way Northwestern so I I was I like started before I read the rules because that that's important um I was like old oak and bucket was like one of my top three games to go to it's obviously the game it's obviously Ohio State Michigan like it can't be other anything other than that especially with the way you know the way things have been the past four years and you know we're talking about a documentary on this you know at the beginning of the show it's got to be Ohio State Michigan yeah yeah that's where I'm going as well I do I I do think Minnesota Wisconsin I thought about it just so that way I could free up like another Ohio State Michigan game to go to uh I thought about Ohio State Northwestern you know going to Wrigley Field and seeing that game but yeah I mean Ohio State Michigan I I I just could not go uh Kent you going with us yes obviously I've been to the game one time and I would like to go back and see another the game and uh this would be a great year to do it I think you know I think that Ohio State's going to win it I know we're not doing predictions but this has to be the year that they beat Michigan after everything that's happened the last three years so it would be interesting to see what happens and what's on the line at this point in the season especially for Ohio State I think so yeah I would love to be at that game if they don't win we could witness Ryan day's final game as coach for Ohio we could witness him getting fired on the field like uh pull of Herm Edwards from coule years ago you know what's so weird I was watching that game live that that Arizona State game did you see the firing life yes oh W like I saw him walking off the field and like the dude stopped him like in the end zone like everyone's seen the video at this point but I for I have no idea why I was watching that game but I watched the whole thing I think I bet on it is why and I saw that whole thing go down and I was like I wonder what that guy is doing and then like the next morning I heard that he got fired I was like I think he got fired on the field he did crazy poor dude I don't know why I was watching that game but I was hey he was a rule breaker too so he got what was coming to him and he couldn't even win while breaking the rules so you're extra bad if that happens yeah uh all right all right guys good stuff there we're left to do we'll see how well we can do this Penn State at West Virginia Penn State is favored by8 and a half this is the big big noon kickoff on Saturday for us James Franklin and Drew Aller Neil Brown Garrett green I think this is really interesting these were the matchups last year if I'm not mistaken right guys Garrett green for West Virginia so I mean this is going to be really interesting um from from what happened last year close game uh Penn State obviously pulled ahead eventually but West Virginia was a much better team much more improved last year James Franklin I You could argue his seat is hotter than Neil Browns and Neil Brown was about to be fired last year so uh very interesting stuff here Zach we'll go to you first just give your general thoughts on the game and then we'll come back to you and get your prediction after yeah I I think so I think West West Virginia obviously really peaked at the end of last season I think the thing that concerns me is you know their their offensive line I think they're returning three guys on the o line but I I still don't think that offensive line is great and I think their secondary is they were replacing a lot of guys on the secondary it'll be an interesting matchup between the receivers who have traditionally underperformed for the past several years at Penn State versus I think a a very green secondary for West Virginia I think that's going to be a key matchup I also think the offensive line or the defensive line for Penn State which again uh you know they lost a couple guys and the uh Edge rushers um but they bring in Abdul Carter Danny Dennis Sutton's coming in are they able to get pressure on on Garrett green I think that's that's the other key to this game you know their defensive line against their offensive line and then Penn State's rece receivers against the secondary that's that's being rebuilt at West Virginia those would be my two keys to the game kit what do you think yeah Zach great breakdown I wish I knew as much about West Virginia as you do that's pretty impressive um I'm I'm looking at it a little bit more casually like my name would uh imply I am going into this game I have no concerns at this point about Penn State's offense and I'm really looking forward to seeing what their defense does on the road because if you want to go on the road and play an average opponent even and go pick up a win especially week one I think that your defense is going to have to play great to really good and so I'll have my eyes more glued to the TV when Penn State's defense is on the field and uh I'm just excited to see how much uh Penn State's offense has grown I think it's going to be even better than last year I'm a big Drew Aller supporter so I'm all in on this if you will and um I think that Penn State's going to roll in this game honestly I think it's going to be 14 plus I have been talking recklessly on Twitter about West Virginia's uh fans and sending them back to their trailers upset after the game and uh you know all the cousins that are married to each other getting upset after the game so I hope that I can back that up with a big Penn State win listen we have a voice of college football West Virginia channel it's okay if you don't know about it I understand um and the guy who leads it is exactly what you would think a West Virginia fan is and I love it he's just he's just this old older older guy with the long white beard who kind of talks like this a little BR I mean I I like the guy don't get me wrong I'm just saying like he is exactly what you would picture a West Virginia fan would look like and honestly I appreciate it because I don't want to know a West Virginia fan if he's not what a West Virginia fan would look like in my mind but uh I think Penn State is goingon to have a fantastic uh defense again this year I do have some questions about Abdul Carter moving to defensive end if he can kind of be what some people are expecting him to be I think he's an amazing athlete and I think that he is going to at least figure it out at the end of the season and be one of the best defensive ends in the country I just don't know if it's going to be an entire season type of thing but even if he doesn't I think those linebackers are really good I think Deni Denis suon is very good Zayn Durant is in the middle of that defensive line as well uh I do have some concerns for the corners Uh Kevin Winston Jr is amazing back there at safety but uh those Corners they brought in what was it the guy from Georgia Harris and then is the Florida guy starting Jaylen Kimber uh he's at least listed on the Phil steel uh depth chart but I figured AJ Harris was starting but I don't know about Jaylen Kimber I think he is but I don't want to say that for sure and be wrong um but I do have some concerns about losing Keandre Lambert Smith for whatever reason they let him walk sounds like Julian Fleming might not even start so I don't know if that's like good news or bad news maybe Penn State just had that really receivers that's what the talk is is that he could be the like second string uh outside wide receiver or something like that I don't know we'll see but I have been I have been told in the comments section Julian Fleming might not stop for Penn State and I'm like yes that's Julian Fleming anytime touchdown scorer I'm betting it tonight as soon as I get off this he's scoring he's scoring against West Virginia calling it right now um Yankee says I'm gonna have to find a West Virginia pod go over to the voice college football like I said I have literally nothing against those guys uh I just like I said they they are kind of your typical um I think I'm pretty sure it's just West Virginia voice of college football you should be able to find it pretty easy on on YouTube if not um let me know and I'll I'll DM you the link on wait till after word done though yeah yeah I don't want to I don't want to take time away from Kent and Zach okay all got a lot of time here to be together um I think the the key for this one is going to be if Penn State can have explosive plays they have not had explosive plays uh you know ever since last year because of the wide receivers but West Virginia gave up a ton of explosive plays last year I think Garrett green and that offensive line they did lose their Center that was really good um but the and the running backs are very good for West Virginia but but they gave up a ton of explosive plays last year so Penn State has got to capitalize on that um you guys want my prediction now before you guys is you guys want me to wait until after yours go for it okay all right I'll put myself out there my prediction is 3121 nitty Lions I kind of wish I went first because that's exactly my score do you think they'll get the explosive plays Zack I think I think in the running game like I think the receivers but I I I think the offensive line will lean a bit on uh the D line I I think they'll they'll win matchups against those corners but I think that'll set up the run and I think Singleton Kon Allen I think they'll get over their sophomore slump and I think they'll shine they better Kent I'll go uh just I didn't I didn't write down score so I'm going to go off the cuff here I'll go 2710 2710 yeah that would be fantastic I'll just say gar Garrett green really like got better throughout the year last year and so like don't be surprised if he hits Penn State they're gonna be better offensively than they were a year ago although you you know maybe maybe it'll be 2710 and I'll I'll eat crow but I'll just say watch out for Garrett green he's a good quarterback I I do think the defense is going to be good enough to hold West Virginia 10 I just like Tom Allen new DC coming in Abdul Carter making that move cornerbacks I'm just a little concerned about like I just I think I think gar green like you said is better than he was at the beginning of last year and I think that he is going to make some plays so um Eevee here says I think Penn State wins easily um and I don't think we had anybody else commenting sorry that go ahead I well I just say I I realized I said that right after Kent said 201710 I'm like that was not meant to be a shot at you oh no I didn't take it as one that was it was just I was like oh we haven't that wasn't a thought that we had about that but I can I I think there's certainly a pathway for that so I think we all have a double digit win so there we go yeah yeah all right guys let's move on Fresno Michigan vs Fresno State State at Michigan the Bulldogs are hoping toh Come Away with some more big 10 upset magic after they upset Purdue last year uh unfortunately for Fresno State Michigan it's not Purdue so you they are favored by 21 here um I do think that there is a lot of interest going into this one a lot of new starters for Michigan a lot of these guys did play last year so it's not like they're completely unknown however there are a number of new players playing so Kent I'm going to ask for you who is one player in particular you want to see play well or maybe do something in particular uh to really give confidence for Michigan fans that hey we're still National contenders you know pick us for the playoffs uh that kind of stuff I'll go off off the rails just a little bit here I'm going to go khil mullings to play really well because I think that what Donovan Edwards did last year for Blake corm he's now kind of in that role where where Don's now carrying the load I call him Don because I play with Michigan in my Dynasty so like have yeah so we're on a first name basis now but uh um I think that he's kind of you know in that backup role that's very important for Michigan a very important backup role you know Donovan proved last year so uh if mullings can step up and have a season like Donovan Edwards had last year I think that Michigan's going to be in a good spot um so that's the player I would say that I'm keeping my eye on the most uh we have blue Vine waving I hope that's a hello wave I don't think I hope that's not a goodbye wave but H I say something bad or or goodbye we just started talking about Michigan so maybe goodbye I don't know uh Eevee says if only Fresno can pull off the upset yes with the Buckeye with the Buckeye or mascot mascot with the Brutus picture there uh I'm sure you are rooting for that Zach uh who's who's a player for you that you think needs to play really well to give Michigan fans kind of that bragging rights that hey we're still National contenders uh I I don't know if it's the the player that needs to that's gonna say bragging rights well I'll give you two I think one is baram the linebacker transfer from Maryland I I think he's the guy that if he flashes it's like oh our defense is back the guy I'm really intrigued by you know Roman Wilson and Cornelius Johnson are were underrated guys and I think a lot not a lot of people talked about the receivers but they were clutch for Michigan Tyler Morris had a big Rose bow big touchdown in that game I want I think he's going to flash in this game and he might become maybe not their go-to receiver but he has the speed to outrun angles and I I like I think that's an under under the radar pick to be watching out for for Michigan yeah I think uh that's a really good pick I like the J Jan Barum pick as well there's a lot of talk about how good he is going to be Michigan their linebackers had a ton of tackles last year uh and Ernest hosman himself was third on the team leading tackle tackles barhum only had 39 or 34 or something like that last year and then only 50 the year before that which I say only 50 59 sorry um so he's going to have to get a lot more tackles this season I know he's going to be a good Blitzer I know he's going to sack the quarterback and do a really good job there but uh I think that he needs to show his ability to uh you know be on the field at all times making all these tackles I get it's Maryland plays a little bit bit a different defense so you know that impacts it but still I think he needs to get a number of tackles this year to do that uh I can't believe neither of you said Alex orgy that that's my guy Alex orgy has got to play well specifically on third and fourth down in order for me to have confidence in this Michigan team that they're going to continue to be National contenders they have the defense I think the wide receivers are good enough I think the running backs are much better than people give them credit for Mullin is going to do a good job I think Donovan Edwards had a down year last year but he's going to come back from his down year and do a very good job as well is he Blake Corb no he's not Blake Corum but he's more explosive than Blake corm was so he might add that element to the offense that Blake corm didn't add as much but at the end of the day like who was the guy that uh there were so many crucial third Downs so many crucial fourth Downs where JJ McCarthy went out there he was calm he was cool he he was collected he had an 87.5% completion percentage on fourth down guys 87.5 that is incredible uh to have that a 24.9 QB rating one touchdown zero interception zero sacks on fourth down I told all he did was hand the ball off well he that's not it he also converted those fourth Downs a lot um the only player that was better statistically I went through I mean maybe there's like some Coastal Carolina guy that's better sorry if there isn't I went through all like the quarterbacks that got drafted and things like that the only player that was better on Fourth Downs last year than JJ McCarthy was Jaylen milro and that was because he only threw four balls on fourth down so it's like you only throw four you know you have a little bit better numbers but um and then on third down JJ McCarthy had 67.1% completion percentage 169.74 and third down for them last year I hate saying that as an Ohio State fan but it's the truth and when I do the Big 10 podcast I try to do my best to give you the truth and not be biased even though I know I am but at the end of the day like Alex orgy has got to be really efficient I've heard some people say oh if he just throws 64% completion percentage that'll be good no not on third and fourth down he's got to be better than that in order for this team to be able to do what they do uh and be really efficient so any thoughts on Alex orgy or any of the guys that Kent said Zack I no I mean I think you guys are both right I uh you know talking with uh our friends over out of the blue um they they referred to Cleo mullings as as an annoyance for teams and that's that that sounds how I feel as an Ohio State fan over the past several years with guys like Blake Corum and uh Hassan H Haskins it's like oh you're gonna hand it off again and it's gonna be another first down yeah it's not fun and then I feel like the quarterbacks are given so I think it's that's that's a good those are great picks awesome Kent uh before we move on to the next one got any thoughts on orgy baram wide receivers anything like that uh yeah if he plays anything like he does in the video game then he's going to be just fine this year um you know he's picking up he's picking up third and fourth Downs left and right for me all the time so I have no worries about him converting and the video game's pretty accurate I would say so um I think he's going to be just fine being able to complete those passes and uh be able to pick him up with his feet as well so that's that's that's how I think it's going to go just like a video game we're definitely going to see that quinan Judkins spin move life at some point this no doubts no doubts all right uh good stuff there guys we're SC for this one too or no do what we're doing scores for all of them or no if you want to give a score you can I didn't do a score for this one I've I've got a score go ahead z i I've got 3417 I I don't Fresno State I mean I know we we we joke that Michigan's not Purdue Fresno State's a good group of five team and got a good quarterback and and Keen um and I think it's gonna take a little bit for Michigan to kind of gel on just with all their new starters but Michigan will ground him pound and they'll like they'll win convincingly but they won't cover am I my humble opinion you got him right on the dot what'd you say 3817 34 17 oh 34 okay um if I had to give one I'd probably give some I'm a little I'm just a little bullish on the offense going into the year or not bullish I'm a little down on the offense going into the year so I I'd probably do something like 24 to3 24 to7 something like that this Michigan defense is going to rock I mean they're I I I know Fresno State's pretty good but I don't know if they're going to give up 17 points that's just me but um all right guys we'll move on to the next one do a commercial really fast we want to do both or taking my son to go so are you do you think they're gonna go over or under just really fast or cover or not cover uh I I I think they're gonna cover Maybe we'll see um all right so Zack we'll go to youth I obviously we could you know talk about all the things with previews in this one I do think that there are some things Ohio State didn't do as well last year stat-wise that maybe they can improve on for this year especially new quarterback coming in uh things are looking a little bit different with the backfield bringing in quinon Judkins the offensive line is relatively the same but they do need to improve and get better so Zach I want you to give me a stat that Ohio State needs to really improve on in this game obviously there we talk about the entire season but in this game something they need to really improve on to make the fans feel good uh coming out of this game I I think they have to eliminate empty drives like I think that was the thing that plagued Kyle McCord all season long was like he'd have a great drive and then it'd be like three straight three and outs and I I don't know the the exact percentage but just so many drives that and they they were drives that died because of mistakes it wasn't like oh like the defense made a good play uh certainly that that was the case too but just I think self-inflicted mistakes and empty drives like those those are the things that I think I'm looking for like are they consistent offensively or they stop and start yeah especially against zachan you can't go out there and go three and out the very first drive Ohio State fans will start chanting fire Ryan Day right then and there Kent uh what's a stat or something that Ohio State needs to do much much better uh than they did last year against akan uh I don't think there's much that they have to do much much better they were a pretty good team last year um I think the thing that I'm looking forward to the most is Chip Kelly and what the offense looks like just in general the whole the whole vibe of the offense and I think that if you're an Ohio State fan you uh should be looking for that too but also I on the flip side not putting a ton of stock into what happens in this akan game because I don't know if he's gonna you know show his hand too much against a team like akan probably be pretty vanilla play calling but uh I think that you know that's I think that that's more of something I'm looking forward to the like first three or four weeks from Ohio State is just the entire Vibe of the offense and how much different is going to look under his control yeah I think that's a good pick I I I'm looking at the offense specifically in the red zone so if you I mean obviously I'm following Ohio state closer than any other team out there Ohio state has been plagued with Troubles of scoring touchdowns in the red zone for the past two three years uh because they've been so pass heavy and they just haven't really had the Run game now they are definitely going to be better with quenon Judkins and trayon Henderson and I think that uh Chip Kelly does a good job with um uh play play calling and uh the way he's a able to scheme up his run blocking for that to be better but the biggest thing is Will Howard all right so a lot of people talk about well will Howard's not that much better than Kyle McCord one area that he is extremely better than Kyle mcord you can say he's very similar in other areas whatever but one area he's extremely better is in in fact the Red Zone will Howard last year in the Red Zone he was 35 of 60 290 yards so less than 60% completion percentage that's not great but 17 touchdowns zero interceptions one sack and eight rushing touchdowns that's 25 total touchdowns in the Red Zone last year he was only ever sacked One Time Zero interceptions so I mean this is a guy that excels his game when he's in the Red Zone he's big he's mobile he's going to be able to do those things if you don't see that from will Howard against this akan team now granted they could just be running wild and you can only see Ohio State in the Red Zone twice with Will Howard because he's throwing deep balls and you got deep runs by Trevon Henderson if that happens no harm no foul but if they make it into the Red Zone I they better not be settling for field goals they better not be getting to Fourth Down you need to find a way to punch that ball into the end zone within the first three Downs um at least get the first down and then go after it again so Zach any thoughts on Chip Kelly the offense Red Zone anything like that yeah well I think what you're saying complements the empty Drive thing CU I I think they've I I think think the big issue like is there consistency running the ball is there consistently consistency in the in the routine and I think that goes right to what you're saying so it's really good yeah I agree is there anything that could happen in this game for Ohio State fans that they would say I'm concerned about this team obviously like losing but yeah like losing but realistically like you let's say you win like 30 7 to 21 or something like that are is there going to be anything that you're looking for like man I can't believe we didn't do X Y or Z I'm concerned about this year I honestly I think couches might be on fire if it's only a 16-point win really I don't think it will be by the way I don't think it will be I'm play you know devil's advocate here like I think we're all kind of on the same page it's G to be a 50 60 point game but trying to think like how you would even get like I think even if you squeaked out like a a a two touchdown win you know I say squeaked out there there would be nothing in week one that I would ever be concerned about that you couldn't fix by the end of the year you know I mean this these are Ohio State fans so if Ohio State doesn't win by 40 or more they're going to be concerned trust me I'm in a I'm in a group chat with a bunch of Ohio State fans on Twitter and I mean like there there's talk of Donovan Jackson is not like playing very much in practice right now and it's already like oh my gosh this offensive Line's going to be horrible we stink and it's like dude guys like they're like but are all American and it's like okay like the first three games are akan Western Michigan and Marshall like chill he's probably just resting a little bit and it's like oh no everything's going to be bad you're losing the offensive line uh chemistry it's not going to be there for when you face Iowa it's like okay guys it's also Iowa like you're playing them at home I'm not trying to look past an opponent but you're not playing Oregon the fourth week so yeah yeah there are a ton of things and if we couldn't predict them Ohio State fans will find them that they'll be concerned about after this one I I will I will say I think two maybe legitimate things one is if Will Howard doesn't look good okay I think that's that's one the other one and and it's because it's been a trend under Ryan Day the past three years is that the Run game is not does not look fixed like if they can't run it will I think that that's been the single biggest problem for Ohio State the past three years is that where Michigan when chips are down they just run the ball Ohio state has not been able to and I like I think that's why Chip Kelly was so important as a higher and if they're struggling against a and this is I think fans felt this with Youngstown State in Indiana a year ago was like we can't run against those teams what in the world's going on and I think that that will be the thing that I think it's less about score because I I think they could win 49 to 10 but they're like did we run well like that like why did they score 10 like even if it if it's against the two deep you're like oh my gosh our you know backup cornerback is not very good so what happens if this guy goes down like I I'm talking less about the the crazies and more about like legitimate like I like I think I think there is there might be not like and I don't think people should be like going crazy if if they don't run well or will Howard struggles a bit but like I think that should like that would legitimately raise eyebrows for people if if they can't if they can't average over five yards a carry like that yeah I think the difference last year though like I'm thinking back when you mentioned that Indiana game I think the difference between a game like Indiana and a game like akan is like we don't know who akan is like when you guys struggled even a little bit against Indiana we all know Indiana it's like what's going on here this shouldn't be happening and like akaran they could be anything it's like oh well maybe they're a good Mac team this year maybe they they're about to go 10 and two or whatever we don't know who they are so that I feel like was a little bit different last year we're like what's going on here like we know Indiana's not that great so if you ask Ohio State fans they'll say Akon's not that great even if they're 10 and two so true true um but yeah I mean I'm probably leaning more toward the crazies Zach is uh probably being a little bit more for the rational crowd which you know maybe you experience the rational crowd more than I do Zach good for you I no no I don't I'm just more trying trying to keep a levelhead good stuff all right guys let's do our USC vs LSU last game here USC verse LSU game is in Vegas watch out might be some gambling players I mean was this really the best idea Kent I mean we got all these gambling players we're going to put a game in Vegas like no terrible idea although it doesn't really matter anymore because it's all on it's all on your phone so you can pretty much do it anywhere at this point so that's true that's true over under over under on suspensions for gambling yeah just for the year no for this game oh oh oh uh four and a half all right just like the spread just like the spread just like the spread um that's what that's what the spread was right there they're like how many people will get suspended for gambling just this week they're like is this for like is this the game spread or like the suspension they're like it's it's the same that's both oh all right well Kent that was wonderful analysis on the gambling let's switch over to the football side give us your uh your analysis on USC LSU I mean you you might just like die of offense in this game I'm curious your thoughts Kent that would be fantastic I would love that um I would love it even more if USC could get some stops this year if they're going to join uh the Big 10 they they should start getting used to playing a little bit of Defense I would say um so that would be nice to see in this game I don't know if we're going to see it um and if we don't that's fine with me too because if I'm not mistake yeah this game's on Sunday so Standalone game I'm kind of you know hung over from all the football I watched on Thursday Friday Saturday I do kind of want to see an exciting game to end the week um before I have to wait another week to watch football so I would love to see a high-scoring game in this one I'll be honest I don't know a ton about USC my plan was to kind of learn about them as the season goes on so uh I don't have a ton of really deep dive insights on them um other than like what I saw from them last year which was a team that gave up a ton of points and really couldn't get stops and relied on Caleb Williams to bail them out in game so I don't know if uh Miller Moss is that guy to be able to bail them out a bad defense but we're going to find out real quick first game the only team in the conference that's not favored unless you count Minnesota I think that line has been switching back and forth with UNC so um be really interesting game be a fun one to watch on Sunday yep I I mean that you pretty much hit the nail on the head USC bad defense hire Dan dson Lynn hopefully he you know how long does it take him to get good defense he's going to get good defense he's a good defensive coordinator uh and then Miller Moss you know were the six touchdowns against l v of fluke or were they they real so Zach I hope I didn't take all the Talking Points there what do you think no well I think so one thing I I I really do think replacing Alex Grinch with d Lynn is a much bigger deal than people realize and I say this as as a buckeye fan who endured a year of Grinch and was like why do we have this thing get this thing away from us um yeah Alex Grinch I'm sure is a nice person he could not coordinate a defense and so a lot of the defense for USC's back um and they've got you know they they have guys and I know people might you guys might say well but they were terrible a year ago hold on hold one second did you guys catch the video and I don't mean to interrupt you Zack I just want to make sure I don't forget this did you guys catch the video where Alex Grinch was talking about the tackling at Wisconsin no but he's the safeties Coach and he's talking about how Wisconsin needs to be a better tackling team and how that's one of the things he's going to try and fix it's like dude Hunter Waller was a fantastic tackler last last year don't you mess with him you let him be just fine dude your team could never tackle I just I watched that video and I was like ah Wisconsin this is such bad news for you Alex gr is gonna teach tackling oh no I'm changing all of my Wisconsin predictions now 're going for you you were on a roll I just I could not Noy they could go four and eight by the way that's that's not a joke they really could do that they could they could I mean that's that's the the craziness of the Big 10 this year but I I think there is I mean to that point I I I mean Ken I think you're you're a smart man to wait because I think there's a lot of questions question marks around USC I do think the returning experience combined with what LSU is losing I like LSU is losing two Dynamite receivers they lost the Heisman Trophy winner and a top NFL draft pick granted their offensive line is mostly intact coming back but like man you're you're replacing with Garrett nus Meer and a lot of receivers that we don't know about and like nus Meer is not Jaden Daniels like he's not and I think he's good he's good I don't want I want sound like he's not good he's good he's a highly rated recruit he's just not Jaden Daniels yeah and and to that point like I think Miller Moss might actually help USC because he'll play more in the structure of the offense Caleb Williams you know he he freestyled a bit too much I think Miller Moss is going to play Within the system he's got good weapons around him their offensive line is you know pretty much intact so I I'll give my score I've got 4231 USC I I can understand why LSU is favored I just think people are underestimating how much LSU lost on offense and while I I think people are expecting LSU's defense to be better I don't think people understand how much better USC is going to be with d Lynn who did wonders for a bad UCLA roster a year ago and now has I think a better one in USC yeah I mean the receivers that LSU lost combined with Jaden Daniels like that's huge they're bringing in zaven Thomas and CJ Daniels you know CJ Daniels was extraordinary at Liberty but who did he face like it's liberty like everybody talked about how terrible their schedule was and how they didn't really face anybody so is he if USC is that much better on defense is he going to be able to get open against those guys uh they brought in a hardly anybody for the secondary I mean LSU was terrible last year you would think you'd go into the portal and find somebody in the secondary do something they didn't they found uh J Gilbert from Texas A&M you guys ever heard of Jordan Gilbert I don't I don't want a guy named Gilbert playing safety for me I don't know like I'm not being mean but it just it's not a safety name like Gilbert does not mean my defense is safe that's just me um hold on they got a guy on defense starting named Stamps though that's a solid name for a Defender that is yeah yeah that is not Gilbert though no so next week we're going to the the all name team All American name team right but we need to do like name for your position they've done like the funny names and it's generally like General booty is on there every single year like but it needs to be like the name for your position like tough Borland was a linebacker for Ohio State he was the name guy for linebacker stamps that's the name guy for a Defender um Gilbert no they also have a guy named major Burns starting on their defense LSU or USC LSU LSU well they have him at the they call it the star position like the nickel whatever you guys I don't know see he's gonna get something different does he get burned can't be a cornerback with the name burn that's I'm telling you there's problems here Gilbert Burns I mean Major's good but majorly burned major majorly burned oh D the comments after this is published is be like what is this analysis what is this what are we doing when you bring me on the show you're not real football analysis K brought up the death chart and those people are like who's star he's like what names are on here I mean there's some there's some crazy names Harold Perkins Jr that sounds like my grandfather's name like he sounds like a farmer doesn't he Harold Perkins Jr he does I do know how good and how athletic Harold Perkins Jr is so I'm not har my father seriously he's a junior I mean Woody Woody plays for USC so the running back yeah Woody great names on this team wood marks you got the bear bear Alexander nose CJ Daniels the wide receiver for LSU related to uh jayen no or Jaylen I have no idea I think it's just a common last name um so series for a second while I let Kent look for new names um I I I am concerned about this wide receiver core for USC a lot of young guys playing here I I have full confidence in Zachariah Branch I think that he's going to be a speed demon for this team and really stretch the field but they lose Mario Williams and Dorian singer I mean both of them transferred I mean those were good receivers that could have been real weapons for Miller Moss but they both head out you're normally you're seeing USC bring in wide I I mean they brought in Woody marks which is a good pickup out the running back but I'm glad they brought in Kamari Ramsey from UCLA and achil Arnold from Oregon State I mean those are good pickups but at the end of the day like this this wide receiver core is going to have to prove themselves now Lincoln Riley has never had a bad offense so you know like it's even going back to 2015 when he started as an offensive coordinator he's never had a bad offense so I'm not saying that they're going to have a bad offense but I am saying are these receivers going to be able to make the big plays in the big moments to give USC what they need their averages are going to be fine they're going to be one of the top offenses in the nation just like they are every single year but um are they going to be able to make that happen we'll see and LSU LSU sucks at giving up big plays all right listen to this explosive Run play rate allowed last year 115th Woody marks go crazy explosive pass play rate allowed last year 88th uh meler Moss throw the ball deep just Zachariah Branch run and throw it to him because l you their secondary stunk last year and they didn't do anything to make it any better so my prediction is USC wins 41 to 35 I would make it more but I think that some of the time clock changes are going to make some lower scoring games this year but 4135 USC get it done Trojans I'll just throw out two receivers to watch out for USC that they've liked in Camp Makai lemon sophomore and jacobe Lane who's also sophomore jacobe Lane for a wide receiver name lemon a lemon's usually referring to like a something that's messed up like you have to return it like it was a bad product did they get him out of the transfer portal sack did in that one no no no he's uh they might have to return him to somewhere else yeah in the high school maybe but yeah also Zach you should have did the two isn't this like USC's like thing like the two when you were talking about the two wide receivers the two ah isn't that their thing I'm Le still isn't it I don't know that's a good question that's that's their Emoji the two the two because I think that was what Lincoln Riley did on his jacobe Great Name by the way jacobe lane great name yeah no that's right in your lane yep run the lane yeah there you go there you go I would I really want USC to win this game because I want the uh narrative that the Big 10 just doesn't lose to the SEC anymore to to stay true like with Michigan beating Alabama and uh Washington I'm claiming that in the playoffs last year against Texas those are all big 10 versus SEC wins for us in the last uh year and I wanted to start off right this season with another one so I'm really really G to be pulling for USC in this game obviously I wouldn't cheer for so what's your score prediction then Kent put it out there give us your score prediction oh I think I think the total in this game is 4 that being said
