brother-in-law Bo you know about the cans like the lake life cans yeah I don't know about the nielo but yeah LD light it's a Minnesota beer you can only get it here well maybe you can get it in Wisconsin and Iowa or something like that I heard now I'm already 12 oun deep I had lunch at zorbas up here in Brainard uh bo my brother-in-law and I we are in a DraftKings League which consists of 20 human beings from Twitter from my life and there's a playoff that began at the Windom it narrowed the 20 down to 12 the 12 down to eight the eight down to four the four down to me and Bo that's right I created a league invited a bunch of people into it and then beat the [ __ ] out of them kid no uh actually Tony heel from Twitter my buddy H those guys were the sheffler shle of the season so uh bo and I are just lucky to be alive in the playoffs here so I drama I'm bringing Bo on because not only is Bo a DraftKings player he's a fan of the Pod Bo welcome to the program thanks no thanks for having me I've watched a lot of these so uh it's you know it's rewarding to be on one I mean the guy actually putting in time uh yeah you said 10 minutes max so yeah okay so Bo is a golfer himself he just had a hole in one was that yesterday or when was this Monday Monday my God uh jealous of that Bo is basically a hashtag free Square out there on DraftKings uh but no bo before we decide okay so we're in the finals Bo versus me you got to still pick six guys for this weird TOUR Championship staggered start obviously Sheffer shafley right I don't want to get I don't want to open up DraftKings tomorrow and discover that Bo and I have three of the same six people because I think that would just eliminate a lot of the fun so I thought maybe hey Bo why don't we do a draft why don't we decide which one of us is the number one pick and then we alternate every other pick and we go through we create a six-man parlay and then each of us has six maybe depending on the pricing and stuff like that but at least five differences I would I would hope maybe we can even make it so it's we're all different before we do that though I'm friends with the people at shipit Nation uh shipit Nation they're a website that actually does all these Sports B and you can get your your early bird special for football you can get all their projections their optimizers their tools their tricks and it's like one of the cheapest out there and it's it's all that you need so if you're paying for something else you're paying too much in my opinion fgp 10 10 % off get yourself the stone they're making a stone for the Tour Championship um comes in an Excel file actually I downloaded the XEL file so I can share it that way but that's kind of typically how I start my week B knows I look at the weather but there's only 30 guys it's in Atlanta it's going to be fine the stone will provide us some stuff but then ultimately projections win Equity percentages top 20 percentages Bo are you familiar with the stone yeah familiar with it um now it doesn't have ownership projections yet so we're going to have to redownload this thing in a little bit if we care about ownership projections that's why ref it with your Sunday note right then you take the owners Chad's ownership projections tied into this and you're good to go yeah exactly so uh you know I don't know if this is going to really help us I think we're really just kind of on our own it's the end of the season you do know who's better who's worse uh I would say maybe you could get something from this by looking at the top 20 percentage of the human dice at the low 6K range because I think that's where you're going to make your hey maybe in a gpp but a one-on-one competition between me and Bo for the title for a thousand bucks I don't think it really matters uh so maybe we don't care maybe all we're going to do here is we're going to decide and we're going to just look through the DraftKings pricing after we decide who is the number one pick Bo or Chi who will pick first between us the wheel will decide the number one pick that was a very weak spin yeah spin it again that kind of counted I guess okay no here's the real spin this happens sometimes this thing's kind of so then good best two out of three sure it's gonna end up on my side as a half spin every time best two out of three ready there's a real spin there we go okay now I'm going to give it to bo uh Bo's had the better playoffs than I have overall um I think cumulative scoring wise we haven't really added it up and it hasn't necessarily made any difference but uh so far B's playing pretty well yeah catching uh the luck at the right time and before before I pick I gotta shout out your guys like uh well first off Miss quag dearly also jish has been a noow All Season which is a bummer um but who Brian K of that yeah tap and birdie Tuesday night your boy Joe although he's gonna been mainstream yeah joon's like too popular now he like knows all the yeah got a yeah and and then ganon's cannons that guy's been hot until last week so Matt Ganon yeah just a shout out to your guys yeah he's he's a good dude uh the first time I ever saw Matt Ganon was on the tap and birdie and I immediately I could show you the DM I immediately texted uh or DMD kerser and I was like damn whoever this was is passionate and is it seems to know what they're talking about so feel like I was ahead of the game on Matt Canon but yeah shout him out so uh we do have a 10K range you have a 9k you know it's the same situation here it's the Tour Championship it's a no cut 30 man field with stagger start but you can you just need to score some birdies I think you can go low ultimately I still adhere to poten potentially a sweet spot DFS build type of a 1098 776 I still think you should or you can do that we have been peppering the Sheffer shaffle in the playoffs and that's been good for us and you can certainly make a lineup with sheffler shaffle but for our purposes we will not be doing that which do you have a preference bow between sheffler or I mean I'm not even gonna start there I'm gonna start with somebody you're gonna take later and I'm gonna just snipe them from me I'm gonna take Billy hoe damn it so you're gonna pepper the you're GNA go what is he $7,100 for Billy hor show what made you want Billy H show on Bermuda or what yeah and he's just like I feel like he's been a stud all year and I think he's you know older um and I think his time's running out so he's a competitor and looking forward to it I have an idea maybe I can do this uh I can open up two different types or two different uh lineups so that we can get an idea like just build yours over here or something hold on I got I got an idea stop sharing share the entire thing watch this okay so Bo wants hoe to start his lineup now he's forcing my hand to decide between Sheffer and shley I certainly cannot skip those guys can you can you start a lineup in the 9k range in this thing when they're when they're starting at 10 under and 8 under I don't know you get a few of those 9k guys looks pretty tasty you know and Rory loves the course loves this this tournament what what what changed about this place like I've read something something changed but I have no idea what oh shoot I know um hold on you know I was going to look stuff up before we went live anyway let's just let's just ride let's like I was at zorbas you know um hold on I can do this though because this might help the the viewers at home just be involved in kind of the thought process so this is a have an option to get some pre-tournament notes you can look at the gcsaa which is like grass types and stuff like that they've got shot link data that kind of can help you a media guide typically not totally helpful uh a lot of stuff in this subsite so maybe you could do this if you're really into the weeds but we could go into the pre-tournament notes I could get that download and I could say you know sometimes you can glean some information are you seeing this B oh no let's do sharing of entire screen real quick uh yes so this little cheat sheet here can kind of give us some stuff like the enters number one Keegan W okay cool who got into it that was out of it okay cool who are the new players that are in it there are 19 who qualified after missing that top 50 last year orberg didn't exist really but so there's some new names JT's back in the fold uh sometimes this gives us Court course notes but sometimes we have to go back to this and we have to click on this and we have to get this download from here and we have to go to this and then it can say this past year the course was completely rebuilt from the ground up in 10 months and had a 13-week growin period so I'm guessing it's going to play a lot firmer so from my experience and knowledge if it's a newer course it hasn't worn in as much so it's a little little firmer on the greens uh it's not as um it hasn't had as much rain so a 13we growth growin period I think it'll be firm more than it'll be soft uh I didn't listen to anybody because there's really no one to listen to because everyone kind of took the week off but the restoration highlights include reshaping of the fairways the green complexes there's new bunkering uh I think the green conversion from a Bermuda to a tiff a mini Verde Bermuda to a tiff Eagle Bermuda the bunker placements in Fairways round greens what's that Tiff vers mini ver do you know just Bermuda uh yeah it's it's like certain kinds of um sativa you know you're gonna have you're gonna have they're all just sativa yeah all right let's get into this oh so you can go and find this information on that website hey good for you go do that have fun uh but yes you start by you start minus 10 oh we can say maybe this will help us so Sheffer started minus 10 in both the last two years led by five led by two led by six finish T2 though when Rory dominated I believe that was Rory uh and so Sheffer despite having a start of minus 10 didn't even win same thing happened La next year minus 10 trailed by one after the first round so oh yeah he's going to win for sure he's got a TW stroke lead on the next guy nope Trail by two Trail by nine folks and finished the tournament T6 so it's not a sure thing now we're looking yourself into it or out I'm trying to talk myself into it or maybe do I want Xander scoring average at the Tour Championship is the lowest in tournament history but it's a brand new course well how much money do I have to spend to get Xander that's the difference is that you're saving $1,200 to take Xander I'm Xander I bet Xander I uh bet him to win the thing with The Strokes without The Strokes I might do a first round leader on this guy so it looks like you could be first- round leader even if with coming from behind so my first pick in the draft between you and I is Xander at 11,000 now if I don't go Scotty would you go Scotty so if I wi Scotty that would really force my hand I mean because we're playing one-on-one so it's like peppering that 8K and the 9k range could pay off if I up in this 10K 12K players I'm gonna have to my average roster position is 6,700 for the last four I'll take Sammy Burns oh my God are you you're gonna take horel and burns the boys and that's going to leave you with 8600 and then maybe I I block you from taking Sheffer you can do that you can end up with Pavone yeah so then if I take sheffler I'm gonna have to end up with like a hogi Kirk Bez Ry so like's let me just play this out so I take pendrith I take um a theala still a 66 I can't even do this I mean going oneon-one hm and we have seen Sheffer struggle the last couple weeks what did he do last week at the BMW was t33 he had an average scoring 72.3 worst Tournament of his life basically uh it's been a long time since you see oh wait it was t-41 at the US Open is is he losing yeah I blame that on altitude I think he's yeah on altitude you blame this on that uh Stupid course they played God he's so good but you already stuffed me you already ruined Me by taking horel and burn and like literally those are my those I didn't even know we were like drafting different people coming into this I thought we could draft whoever we wanted but this is no I think it's fun to have different players okay so if I don't take sheffler I would probably take sunjay because not only do we like sunjay on Bermuda too in Atlanta I think he resides somewhere around this area of the country and he's a birdie guy 19 last week 12 19 14 22 I don't know draftking scoring 7500 save some money see if you will take yourself uh sha Sheffer 122 so if I take Xander M and you take you can't I can basically leave Sheffer till the end at this point you think yeah I'll take uh I risk it I'll take uh shoot who do I write down um well now you can do anybody because you have $8,600 so you could take the AK range that includes Keegan havland Clark Scott oh no Scott's not even in another question I think it's really do you go havland or do you go Clark I think Clark's just like got the gamer mindset right now and he's playing decently recently he had a seven 4 uh at the BMW that was a bad round four but he's been finishing these tournaments so well as you can see he a 64 6565 62 at the Genesis he's he's getting better as the tournament goes along because maybe he's figuring it out 63 at The Travelers that's just what I've noticed the last month or two so show and they said the most whatever clicked guy the most bet tipped I think is the word was this week for like non starting Strokes um yeah maybe uh well you could end up with both of these players cuz I'm you know I'm going stars and scrubs I think who's hot right now I don't even know uh well do you want to check in with the stone because I could show you the stone no it's all right I'll go with um I mean is there a way I can go Matsuyama and sheffler no let me try Matsuyama and Sheffer would put you at 6,000 so then you would really need me to leave this 6,6 all right yeah give me wyc why would you even want a Q on Hideki who could end up just hitting one shot taking 500 Grand call who you say you wanted Wendy Wendy C at $8,100 he's just pepper in the AKA R Okay cool so then now my position is a Xander M start for again we're playing one-on-one for $ thousand dollars on the line so if I take Sheffer that's 6,400 so I'm gonna fall I'm gonna have to fall in love with these three four people down here maybe and then we know Bob Mack did the same thing as Dei last week and said I'm good he he ended up with you're gonna get sheffler you're not gonna do that why not so I have to decide if I don't do sheffler then I have 80 or 78 and I don't really like any of these guys as much you know I like o and the gala normally but they've kind of been poor recently 45 I guess he was 12 miscut 64th cut I think hard to predict OE and it's hard to predict theala but he's 48 46 kind of been that's what he does though Mis cuts and 12ths and stuff and seconds and I don't like an on or or what Ben on or Lowry I'd probably have to take Henley and that puts me back up to 8,000 or I just do stars and scrubs and I try to ruin you I'm stars and scrubs in it I'm ruining you I'm taking shler I didn't think you'd do it know I'm gonna do it I'm doing it only to block you so at 64 maybe he'll be chalky in the gpps and he's fourth on their course rank fit ranking so you're doing Ry uh you could either choose Ry or Mac at this point I don't want two Q's on my card right yeah that's for a no cut but I have no idea what happened to Bob Mac I honestly I didn't really look and we know Hideki he probably will be fine his back he withdrew due to a lower back injury lower out of having fun and so he started with Burns and hor which I love and I was going to use so then he was going Clark matama havin fenale so he's peppering more than stars and scrubing how do you feel about that ah not good okay so here let me show you uh in the lobby of the thing there's this thing called the sand trap going wi 200 Grand now you probably tie for first there's 30 players and this that and let's see how much money we'll be left with by using Russell Henley you know who uh is also a Georgia Boy Russell Henley 8K that means we can use anybody else in the seven k r where's the wheel uh Henley's on our team so then how here here we go the final name for our $25 I mean you will definitely need to leave some money off the table so Ben on and of course no one's going to use Ben on so this is good leverage that the wheel might know now Bo the wheel is actually worse at DraftKings than it is at betting so that is a problem but here you go if you're interested in uh tailing the wheels DraftKings lineup is Xander ludvig sunj cash game Kirk Russell Henley Ben an for $800 left on the table oh my God it's what 25 to win what' you say 200 8 uh yeah 200 Grand to First this one has you know so typically Bo how we evaluate these contests is that you want 10% of the total prize money to First and that would be 880,000 and in this circumstance 200,000 is more than 880,000 so that's more than 10% and you typically want uh 10% of tenth of the value of first so this is 80 you would like 8,000 for 10 but not only that we're playing two we're getting 200,000 this is one of the worst contest payouts ever uh so you typically want 8,000 here do you ever think about that I never play these so no okay good don't ever play these they're bad and if you do play these please understand that you should literally SP you'll probably be just as good as if you tried really hard okay thank you for coming on to the Pod Bo I appreciate your time uh you have lineup that you need to submit
