feel like a disappointing start for you guys in terms of first half what was going on with the offense just stuck there start uh you know we had a couple things that didn't go our way with the tip interception um and you know we didn't really get much going so uh you know going into you know next week and focusing on MAR we got to focus on you know starting better starting faster you know we have a better first half maybe things change um and the outcome but at the end of the day you know we just got to take the cars that were're handed and you know keep working did you in the first uh a little but you know we adjusted like I said I I think I told you you know they might come out they they did come out a little different but I feel like we adjusted uh well but um like I said we just didn't execute enough in the first half we came out second half played better but it wasn't enough you guys get more pass you know I think uh you know we just looked in at uh you know what we were seeing at halftime looked at the film and you know figured out ways that um we could take advantage of their coverages and um you know I feel like we did a good job coming back out of half and um you know taking the lead so go back and uh you know I'm just trying to like do whatever I can you know we're down three to 17 and you the ball comes my way I'm trying to you know Spark um I had the catch and we scored but you know at the end of the day that's all I'm trying to do just you know help us win whatever way I can when you make oh yeah definitely you know uh you know making tough catches is part of a receiver's job you know quarterback they got a lot of stuff going on then it's not going to be a perfect throw every time so you got to make the tough wins and give everybody else confidence and you know keep it going first the aot what is it like from your perspective OPP oh yeah yeah we knew uh you know what their strategy was going to be um that's why we were just talking all week long about how vital it would be to you know take advantage of every offensive possession and obviously in the first half we didn't do that um yeah it's tough just watching the clock go down but end of the day we just got to play better was there a message guys yeah you know it was mainly just you know we just got to be us you know we're I don't know what it was first half but at the end of the day we just got to play the what we believe our standards were and um you know we got that done to a certain extent but like I said it just you know wasn't enough J how much encouragement do you guys take still from the second half 250 yard through the how much oh yeah a lot you know I feel like you know we never we're never going to lose face of our identity um we just got to you know take the positives and the negatives from this game and build off for both of them so uh you know we can build off this you know and uh so we can take advantage of whatever we see next week against Marshall now we got 100% confidence in all our guys especially Colin um ever since he came in um over the summer he's been working um learning the offense and a lot of confidence in him you know when he came in I was excited for him I said let's go get the job done and um yeah I was excited for him yeah you had a 14 yd run there on that first play what what did you after on the sub you know all credit to them you know they played a great game I just feel like um on offensive in that uh that last little series we just didn't execute um and you know we just got to look at the film and figure out how to grow off that what is the as a leader on this team what's kind of the message kind obviously oh yeah you know when I mean losing in overtime definitely tough but you know coming in halftime like man everybody keep your head up it's a long Year got 11 more games to prove who we are so um you know we just got to take one week at a time we're going to clean it up like I've been saying and um you know get back so we can get a dub next week at home and I think first that sh you say I just make sure he okay um you I just picked him up and uh I can't remember what he said but I could tell he was all right so I just Tred to pick him up you know it's like I said losing overtime is tough so um but yeah he's good he's a dog so he'll be back respond with four for 61 what have you seen in his development and his response today to that oh yeah man uh Benji he's a great player he's a dog he's worked hard um and you know I I saw it like first half I was like Hey Ball's going to come your way just make a play he had the drop and I went up to him like Hey just coming back just you know keep your head up let's go we got to win this game and you know he made some big plays for us to get us down there and um yeah he he's been going a lot I'm proud of him for sure appreciate
