BEAT The BREAKOUT! Players To Stash NOW! | Week 1 Fantasy Football 2024

I know you think you probably drafted the perfect team for your fantasy football league but hear me out here what if you didn't or what if you rethinking that last round pick that you really don't need on your roster how about taking some upside for some players that are going to be hot waiver wire ads pretty soon let's get these guys before everyone else does it's called beat the breakout that's right we're going to look ahead to next week's waiver wire but we're going to stash these guys now before your league mates do and I almost can't believe some these players are still freely available on the W these are some of my favorite picks as deep sleepers in my drafts speaking of piics if you haven't tried the NFL pick thems on Underdog this is the perfect time if you haven't tried Underdog well sign up right now using promo code endgame and that gets you this new customer special for week one Dak Prescott just getting one yard that's right you go higher on 0.5 total yards for Dak Prescott that's basically a free pick you get that plus your 50% deposit match up to $11,000 in bonus cash for your very first deposit on Underdog just make sure you use promo code endgame to take advantage of that and all sorts of new specials they run all the time now when we're looking to the waiver wire of course the first thing you think is a running back with some upside and how about a guy who's the number two running back already on his own team and dropped way too low on draft day and wasn't drafted in most leagues because well I guess injury concerns Marshon Lloyd is not injured anymore in fact he's out there practicing again sure week one he might not play much maybe not at all that's fine so what you're not going to win or lose your league in week one let's look ahead longterm this guy was tremendous upside now you know in Green Bay Matt lefur has Preferred to run a sort of a time share if you will of course there's always a lead back but he does like to mix in a second and sometimes a third running back and now that Josh Jacobs is there sure Jacobs has been a bcow before and that's why they signed him but Marshon Lloyd is going to have a definite role and with AJ Dylan out of the way completely remember he was on season ending IR this is basically his chance to shine this is a running back I was big on in the pre-draft process you know some people didn't think Green Bay was a great landing spot for him I think it could be very good for him because again he's going to maybe as soon as week two or three see something like a 30% share of touches don't be shocked if Jacobs isn't quite the Workhorse that you might think he is but also this guy has that burst 93rd percentile in speed score obviously put up some big numbers at USC he's going to be a playmaker and he's got good hands so I'm excited to see what he could do again it's not going to happen right away but this is why you stash him because if and of course injuries happen all the time something happens to Jacobs who's been banged up a little bit here and there the last couple years yeah you're going to have a guy who has tremendous value so if you have room I'm stashing Lloyd first now if we're talking pure upside how about a running back who is even a little bit faster and on one of the best offenses in the NFL Jaylen Wright is technically the third running back in line for the Dolphins which is why he's understandably not rostered everywhere but oh man what if what if the unthinkable happens in Devon hen or Raheem moer get hurt I know that would be crazy right look trust me I'm a Dolphin fan I hope that everyone is 100% th% healthy this season which you know is a minor miracle that moster stayed healthy all of last season for the most part and then hn has already missed time I hope it doesn't happen but if either one of those guys goes down Jaylen Wright has a chance to step in and play a huge role for this explosive Dolphins offense and then when you think this Miami offense you really think of the passing game of course with Hill and waddle but let's not forget that this is a team that finished sixth in rushing yards last year and tied for first in rushing touchdowns despite not having a quarterback who runs at all I mean at all Tua ran for a total of 74 rushing yards last year and the year before that only 70 rushing yards not a single rushing touchdown yet he's not sneaking in at the goal line for obvious reasons and so they are just a prolific rushing offense we know the explosiveness we know their running backs can rip off chunks of yardage and jayen Wright is definitely one of those guys who can do that how about a 95th percentile speed score so realistically if all goes well in Miami we don't really see much of Jaylen Wright for a while but if the worst does happen at least to one of those running backs missing even just a short amount of time Jaylen Wright I guarantee will be one of the hottest if not the top pickup on the waiver wire how about you just stash him now now everybody loves their rookie receivers guy who's kind of flying under the radar but has been sted to get some notice because of the numbers he's put up in the preseason is Jaylen McMillan and Tampa kind of overshadowed in college by his teammate Romo dun who was first-rounder clear top three receiver in this rookie class MC Millan has been showing out for sure now I know we don't take preseason to mean too much take everything with a big grain assault there cuz most of these starters aren't playing this is why these rookies and these later draft picks get a chance to to show out but still got to be impressed by the fact that among all rookie receivers McMillan had the second highest receiving grade according to PFF and a pretty hefty 3.56 yards per route run he showed some play making ability now you might have seen McMillan now starting to get some hype because he was named a starting receiver for Tampa now of course they got three receivers there in this depth chart and the other two are pretty good you might have heard of Mike Evans and Chris God so okay he's clearly behind those two guys how much action is he really going to get probably more than you realize because what we've seen so far keep in mind that in Tampa we got a new offensive coordinator this year with Liam Cohen this preseason they were among the very top offenses that ran three receiver sets regularly could be a sign that we're going to see a lot which means McMillan's going to be out there a whole lot more even though yeah Evans and Godwin are going to get the majority of the targets McMillan could still be heavily involved they got him because they've been desperately missing that third piece I mean guys that they had last year mixing in matching Trey Palmer guys like that it just did not work so even though Tampa might not be the most pass heavy offense Baker Mayfield is I mean he was good last year I got to admit he was good not Elite but still good enough to get by this team will throw enough and with Evans and Godwin taking up a lot of attention McMillan could definitely hit on some big play if you're looking for a big play receiver in an offense that definitely will throw the ball how about Michael Wilson in Arizona he didn't put a big numbers as a rookie but part of that was because mid year he did get injured he actually was putting together a nice little stretch there and then that got cut short end of the season you know kind of Hit or Miss but also we kind of have to give this whole season an incomplete grade for the Arizona offense cuz remember Kyler was not in the offense early on and then when he came back he wasn't exact ex L 100% even though he didn't look like it he still didn't have all his mobility and Michael Wilson also again the injury disrupted his season Hollywood was out this Arizona offense could not find consistency and this year they should have it and with that even though you got a new obvious wide receiver one with Marvin Harrison Jr yeah and a tight end and Trey McBride Michael Wilson is the number two receiver in this offense and honestly there's not a whole lot behind him Greg dorge you know nice receiver he will get some attention but Wilson is really the guy who's going to be a factor on the outside and that's what his role will be that big playmaker last year he averaged almost 15 yards per reception like I said got some big yards in chunks and 9.58 yards per Target that's actually really good and ranks up there with some of the best receivers like bua nakua and Garrett Wilson now he's not going to put up nearly those type of numbers he's never going to threaten Harrison to to be the alpha in this offense but he's going to be one of the top targets and he a guy who can definitely make some big plays so could be a nice depth option at receiver or a bi-week filling maybe even more and now I've got to admit there is a Giants receiver I kind of like I know I've been doubting on neighbors not because of him I I know the guy is going to be a stud I just wish there was a better quarterback situation but oddly enough for that same reason I'm kind of in on W Dale Robinson this year now my issue is Daniel Jones plus deep ball doesn't usually make for a good combination I've talked about this a lot already earlier during the preseason and why I have my doubts about Neighbors being drafted so high Daniel Jones among the bottom of all quarterbacks in terms of average depth of Target and he's just not good on those deep throws again limited sample size last season but his QB rating on throws of 20 yards or more was 60.8 so that might lead to some frustration for neighbors and his fantasy owners but this is where it plays in the strength of w Del Robinson because what's ju Del Robinson going to do he's going to hang around the line of scrimmage he's going to run those Slants those quick outs right the Shifty little slot receiver and his strength is that yak just put the ball in his hands and see what he can do and I think they're going to need to do that because neighbors is going to draw so much attention I think W Del Robinson will kind of rack up a lot of targets sure he's going to need to do a lot of the work on his own but still I think he's going to be giving you a nice floor in PPR leagues and he definitely has the ability to rip off a big play then a receiver who's getting a lot of late Buzz here but maybe for the wrong reasons Andre yevich in Cincinnati now a lot of people are starting to look elsewhere because the whole Jamar Chase thing which is not necessary look T Higgins not happy he got franchise tagged he's playing he's there Jamar Chase wants to be the highest paid player ever okay whatever but he's showing up he'll be there so no yich isn't going to be a replacement for Jamar Chase but he's going to be the wide receiver three in this offense as he was going to be anyways so basically he's going to be the new Tyler Boyd now Tyler Boyd doesn't really excite you but let's remember that it wasn't that long ago Tyler Boyd was definitely viable in fantasy his number just kind of dropped off the last couple years but in his first year in this offense with Joe burett quarterback and Jamar Chase an T Higgins both there Tyler boydd was able to put up 828 yards in a handful of touchdowns the problem last year you know maybe boy did lose a half step or a quarter step or something but of course remember Joe burrow was not healthy at all last year and so this whole offense did kind of suffer so I think now assuming burrow is good to go yich could definitely make an impact he is faster than Tyler Boyd he's got some good length he's taller I mean I don't see that a thousand yard season is coming necessarily but I think he's definitely going to exceed expectations let's put another number three receiver on the map here Dallas needs another option not that they're worried about CD he's fine he's there Brandon Cooks is still a solid number two who's going to step up and be that three Michael Gallop could never really be it maybe we see a third-year breakout from jayen tolber now tolber did get some extra reps and build some chemistry with Dak in the preseason because CD lamb was holding out temporarily and he's drawn a lot of Praise now sometimes you just have to ignore all that right coaches praise all their players quarterback is going to talk up his receivers but he didn't go and I mean Dak Prescott he didn't go specifically out of his way to really puff up anybody else other than Jaylen Tolbert and you know I think that does mean something cuz he's been there sure they have those rookies like Ryan floro maybe but I think Tolbert has always had the talent maybe now he's just got that Readiness look not every receiver who comes in the league will go off as a rookie or even a second-year player tolbert's more of a watch list guy I'm really not stashing him other than a very deep League part of that also CU I don't expect really big numbers in week one because it's a very tough matchup at Cleveland I don't expect that whole Cowboys offense to necessarily go off but I'm going to keep an eye on him because I definitely think there's an opportunity here maybe tolbert's finally ready to take advantage of it then I can't leave you without a tight end well maybe this one's too obvious how about another player in that Dynamic Dolphins offense is jonu Smith now I know Janu Smith really annoyed a lot of us because he was vulturing touches from KY pittz last year don't blame him blame Art Smith well look jnu Smith is in a really good position here as a starting tight end and I know you think well the Dolphins don't throw it to the tight end they kind of do and in fact they actually throw it to the tight end quite a bit in the end zone and the money Zone there when they near their goal line JN new Smith maybe he's not Mike giki in terms of combine numbers but he's definitely proven to be more reliable better with his hands and he's going to stay on the field more than my kasiki because he does something that kasiki never really did is he can actually block Smith has had some moments right time is Tennessee in Atlanta he is a good receiver as a tight end but he'll also stay on the field more as a I mentioned and honestly right now this team needs him because they're lacking a clear number three receiver Odell Beckham who they signed not going to be playing for a while Braxton beros I mean I like the guy but you know what he is he's just situational kind of slot guy Malik Washington could be a thing but already right now are they really going to give a major run I doubt it I think they're going to go to the tight end and use him in a way that this offense hasn't used a tight end as much in the last couple of years I don't usually recommend stashing a tight end if you have one that's fine you don't necessarily need to keep one on the bench but if you stream or if you're not really sold on whoever you got as a starter John new Smith definitely has a ton of upside I know we're excited the season is just getting underway for Fantasy we got you covered everything you need start sit at every position our boom picks trade advice waiver wire advice it's all here in our week one playlist
