news if you have any quarterback or tight end well the starting ones at least for the Ravens or the Chiefs you got them in your lineup no questions asked Friday night the Packers at Eagles: Fantasy Football 2024 Start Em Sit Em QBs & TEs Week 1 Packers are going to take on the Eagles both quarterbacks are must starts but not so much for the tight ends in fact in Green Bay who is the guy you really want is it Luke Musgrave probably not I mean hopefully Luke Musgrave is not your tight end one in fantasy football maybe if you're in like a two tight end League sure but we're hearing Rumblings Tucker craft may be involved you're competing with a lot of pass catchers here I don't want to start Luke Musgrave this week well I'll admit Musgrave was one of my my favorite Sleepers at the position early on I'm kind of backing away like I still like his upside and I'm still curious to see how involved he is but there might be too many mouthe to feed so he should definitely be on a bench this week and I guess the same exact argument goes for Tucker craft if you happen to have him on your fantasy team exactly if I'm not starting mous grave I'm not starting craft now what about Dallas GD in Philly there was a time where we used to think he was a set and forget is that still the case no not still the case but if you completely punted tight end and Dallas SCD is your tight end one I think it's fine I think he's startable it'll be interesting to see how the tight end is used with this new offense under Kell Moore look Johan Dawson not really settled as a number three receiver there got it will still get targets I still think he's a strong start if not a must start Panthers at Panthers at Saints: Fantasy Football 2024 Start Em Sit Em QBs & TEs Week 1 the Saints I don't know how high scoring this game will be but let's talk about Bryce young and this new look Carolina offense do you have high hopes for for him in week one of this new regime I have high hopes for him this season I don't know if I have high hopes for him in week one learning the new offense against a pretty good Saints defense so even in 2qb I would prefer to bench Bryce young this week I'm definitely keeping Bryce Young on a bench even in super Flex because it's still going to take some time to figure things out in the regular season a road game in New Orleans still a pretty good defense and don't forget the fact that the Saints for the second most interceptions last season so for that reason I'm going to make a very easy pick here when you look at all the NFL pick thems on matchup I'm not doing it well I guess I'll say I like Carr better than young this week in a super Flex league if he was your really late qb2 maybe but that's about it now Johan Johnson looking like he's good to go for the season opener at tight end does he have any value I mean very very deep desperation value hopefully you have a better option than Jan Johnson I'm not starting Johnson if at all possible you're going to hear us say this a lot this season touchdown or bust right maybe he'll score maybe he doesn't that's the kind of guy you roll out during those heavy byy weeks or if your tight end is injured and that's not the case and then here we go taste some Hill time T Hill has gotten way too much airtime this preseason on social media getting so much Buzz are you going to buy into it this time well I'll say this CU tesm Hill is an interesting one this year because on some sites He's listed as QB and on some sites He's listed as tight end if he's listed as QB no no chance I'm starting TM Hill but if he's listed as tight end I think he's worth a gamble if you're desperate like Dennis Allen talking like this guy's probably going to get goal line work maybe catch some passes I mean you could do worse than tasm Hill yeah they make it sound like he's going to be their leading rusher receiver and tackler I I don't know I mean look do we need to do this right now with Tamm Hill I guess he's not the worst pick if you happen to punt tight end and you're streaming all right Vikings at Giants: Fantasy Football 2024 Start Em Sit Em QBs & TEs Week 1 now the Vikings are going to take on the Giants sadly neither tight end whoever starting for either of those teams is really worth discussing we do have to technically discuss Sam darnold and Daniel Jones um is there a scenario where you have interest in Sam darnold for Fantasy no I I know he's got Justin Jefferson I know it's a terrible Giants defense but on the road Sam darnold no thank you yeah like I know the Giants don't really have a great defense but they did actually have a lot of interceptions last year the hzman is the Saints somehow uh Sam darnold's pretty good at throwing interceptions let's wait and see what he looks like in this offense and let's sit him everywhere if you have him and then Daniel Jones do I even need to go there I am not starting Daniel Jones anywhere no no chance even at home against the Vikings I'm not doing it Patriots at the Patriots at Bengals: Fantasy Football 2024 Start Em Sit Em QBs & TEs Week 1 Bengals well looks like the quarterback for now in New England is jacobe Brett does he have value even in a super Flex League I mean again I I hope jacobe brassette is not your qb2 even in a super Flex League behind this offensive line with this Patriots offense no no definitely not I don't even know how long he's going to keep that job by that I mean is he even going to keep it throughout this game yeah no thanks and then we've heard a lot about the receiving core of the Patriots haven't heard a lot about Hunter Henry is he still solid and does he still have fantasy appeal solid I don't know about that he was a guy I liked in best ball cuz he's going to have those weeks where he scores a touchdown maybe two but he's also going to have those weeks where he doesn't and does nothing so touch down our bus desperation start here yeah I've soured on this whole passing offense but Henry thought he might be a little bit more interesting because everybody in the receiving course so young I just don't want any part of this to be honest then for Cincinnati Joe burrow seemingly healthy you drafted him you're starting him what about his new and Mike giki no I I can't believe Mike gaseki is still even a thing I not starting Mike gaseki well he might not be a thing and some people will still believe in him yeah great combine numbers remember those let's not do this again mikza no the Steelers at Falcons: Fantasy Football 2024 Start Em Sit Em QBs & TEs Week 1 Steelers taking on the Falcons I guess we have Clarity it sounds like Russell Wilson not just the starter for week one but apparently all season they just kind of went and made that decision does that give you confidence in Russ I mean I don't know if it gives me confidence in Russ I would have been shocked if he wasn't the starter week one not in a one QB League Russ but I think we're finally to the range where if you're in a 2qb superflex and maybe you just really waited on your qb2 I'm okay with Russ this week yeah uh superflex only I mean if we weren't really in on Russ last year why would it be more in on him with this receiving core and this offensive coordinator so really kind of a desperate qb2 option now the one guy who might benefit from this new offense is Pat Fri moth are you in on M right away again kind of like Dallas Goddard if you completely punted tight end and he's the guy you ended up with I think he's fine I know there's some worry here about how like Darnell Washington and other tight ends were used in the preseason but I think m is going to be the pass catching tight end so if you punted and drafted him go ahead and start him yeah I'll I'll say that I think he's startable and especially look on the road against the Falcons who should put up points they might need to pass it a lot you know Russell Wilson will throw it to the tight endend so I think m is a is a decent Fringe tight end one and speaking of that new look Falcons offense kurir cousins first game in Atlanta what are your expectations I mean you got to be a little nervous right a whole new offense coming off a killes but at the same time we know Kirk Cousins can sling it and put up a huge game so again I don't think you should need Kirk Cousins in a 1 QB league but a pretty solid starter in a 2qb super Flex League yeah my only concern is is he 100% % coming off that injury from last year might take some time before he puts up Gody numbers but I still think if he was your late qb1 you can start him in a super Flex though no problem as my qb2 and Now's the Time For Truth where do you fall as far as Kyle pittz goes I mean look if you drafted Kyle pittz he's probably your tight end one like if I drafted Kyle pittz I'm starting Kyle pit yeah honestly we put together this list I consider just putting him as is a no doubter cuz if you drafted pits you believe right I believe I'm on record saying I think that he's definitely somebody who could finally go off so you got pitched you start him Texans at the Texans at Colts: Fantasy Football 2024 Start Em Sit Em QBs & TEs Week 1 Colts CJ stad versus Anthony Richardson nice to know if you have either one of those guys they're in your lineup what about Dalton Schulz though I mean again I don't have high hopes for Dalton Schultz is here now competing with three good wide receivers but if you punted tight end and somehow he's the guy you Ed up with roll him out and hope for the best yeah he's startable but really I see him more as a floor play so if he's the best you got you could do worse and Cardinals at Bills: Fantasy Football 2024 Start Em Sit Em QBs & TEs Week 1 when the Cardinals take on the bills and you got any of the quarterbacks or tight ends in this matchup you're good to go Kyler Murray Trey McBride Josh Allen Dalton concade are all must starts not Titans at Bears: Fantasy Football 2024 Start Em Sit Em QBs & TEs Week 1 so when Tennessee faces Chicago we're going to see what will Levis looks like are you going to see what he looks like in your f lineup no I mean he's a guy I will say like unlike Bryce young or or maybe Derek Carr where if it's 2 QB superflex and you just completely punted your qb2 and he is your qb2 I'm okay with that but not in the one QB League there will be days where I'm in on Levis I have high hopes for this offense this is not one of them on the road in Chicago not great Bears defense is pretty good yeah I'm a little nervous here dehop not 100% so I would definitely prefer to keep Lis on the bench if you have happen to have a better QB even in a 2 QB league and then chig a cono do you have any hopes for him taking a step forward under this new coaching stuff I mean maybe but more competition for targets here this year so I I'm not starting chig in week one no there's really no reason you should need to start a guy like aono I don't think he was drafted as a starter anywhere now what about Caleb Williams his debut at home Tennessee's defense doable even if you're not in a super Flex League I think it's doable if you just completely punted QB and he's your qb1 roll him out there let's see what he can do I'm a fan I think he's going to have a good season maybe this won't be his best week but look if you waited at QB and he was your first drafted I think you can start him this week and then it's interesting because Cole K was some places drafted as a starter if you really waited on tight end and expected to be the starter I don't even know if he is the number one tight end in Chicago but I know that I don't want him in any lineups yeah I don't know what's going on in Chicago he might be behind Gerald Everett really so yeah not starting kette Jaguars at the Jaguars at Dolphins: Fantasy Football 2024 Start Em Sit Em QBs & TEs Week 1 Dolphins let's talk about Trevor Lawrence here what do we expect at least this week in Miami well I hope that we'll see a good Trevor Lawrence the Miami defense is still a little banged up so you know they may not be at full strength this week I I think Trevor Lawrence again if he was another guy where you just completely punted QB and he's your qb1 I'm okay with him this week well I know the Dolphins defense isn't the scariest I feel like this could be kind of a sneaky good situation for Lawrence in the sense that I feel like he could put up a lot of garbage time points if Miami puts up points and they have to pass to keep up so Lawrence isn't the worst pick this week and we do know that if you have Evan angram at tight end I mean we feel strongly about him enough that we say if you have him you should definitely start him now if to a Vala is on your team is he a must start I'm not going to say a must start but again if you completely punted QB and he's your qb1 I think you should feel great about him this week I think he can have a huge game I think Tua was very undervalued in drafts this year so whether he's your qb1 or your qb2 you should feel good about him agree I mean this is a good spot for him for sure wasn't drafted as a starter in a lot of leagues which is borderline insulting but sure if you have two of this week no reason not to trust him are you going to trust jonu Smith maybe he gets more Targets this week obj is hurt waddle seemingly banged up maybe I'd probably feel better about jonu Smith if he was still with Arthur Smith no I'm not starring him all right we'll see maybe long term but yeah week one you really shouldn't need to go there Broncos going to take Broncos at Seahawks: Fantasy Football 2024 Start Em Sit Em QBs & TEs Week 1 on the Seahawks this week in Seattle the debut of Bo Knicks does that Inspire confidence for you I would not say it inspires confidence no going into Seattle making his first start not starting B knck in any format no definitely not starting Nicks this week not really too many quarterbacks I would put below him this week maybe jacobe brassett and Daniel Jones that's about it now what about Gino Smith really interesting because again we've been really big on this offense they're at home against not too great Broncos team could he be a surprisingly good start I think he could be surprisingly good into QB superflex though I don't want to start him in a one QB league but I think if he's your qb2 you should feel good about it yeah there's no way he jumps up to like top 10 fantasy quarterback and honestly I feel like the Seahawks won't need to pass very much to win this game so Geno is just kind of a floor play as a qb2 and then we have heard a little bit of Rumblings about Noah Fant maybe doing something but this also feels like a trap yeah feels like a big trap I am not starting Noah yeah I I'm not doing this again let's see it for a prolonged period of time first and then maybe the Raiders taking Raiders at Chargers: Fantasy Football 2024 Start Em Sit Em QBs & TEs Week 1 on the Chargers and the new starter for your Raiders is Gardner menu where do you put Gardner menu these days in fantasy firmly in the low-end high floor no ceiling qb2 range I was going to say probably firmly on the bench like maybe in a super Flex league but come on is was he really your qb2 now what about Brock Bowers the rookie could be a generational Talent the Unicorn do we see it from the jump yeah I don't know always risky to start a rookie tight end I mean if you drafted him as your tight end one go for it but hopefully you drafted somebody else as your tight end one and you can just keep him on your bench I'd prefer to bench him this week yeah he's really interesting he's kind of right there in the middle right you probably drafted him like you know it's like the 10th or 11th tight end drafted it doesn't mean you have to start him I'd rather wait and see I've come around on him being maybe a late season savior but not right now and then what do we do with Justin Herbert he's also kind of in that in between range is he a qb1 still for fans he a qb2 what do you think I think he's a qb2 it is a good match up this week against the Raiders but how high is the ceiling here in this Chargers offense 2 QB superflex sure but I don't want him in a one QB League yeah exactly I just worry the ceiling isn't high enough it's going to be a run heavy offense the defense and harau should at least be better if not great so just don't think the volume is going to be there all Cowboys at Browns: Fantasy Football 2024 Start Em Sit Em QBs & TEs Week 1 right Cowboys in Cleveland take on the Browns not a great matchup so how do you feel about Dak I mean you can't feel great him and CD lamb have Harley practiced together this is one of the best defenses they're on the road in Cleveland that being said I mean unless you drafted two QBs that you really like here you're probably going to have to start Dak and just hope for the best yeah like most week weeks with Dak you probably just said and forget this week I really would rather go somewhere else I mean it's just really depends I mean I'm not starting Gardner muu over him but if you happen to have you know another highend backup maybe you took Caleb Williams somebody like that I don't know but Dak is just a very risky start this week in a single quarterback league so does that extend to Jake Ferguson and we were high on him at tight end but what about week one I mean it might not be his best week but I think where you drafted Jake Ferguson he's probably your tight end one so if you got Ferguson you're more than likely just rolling him out also very risky and it just so happens the Browns were one of the toughest against tight ends last season but look do you really have a better option if you don't you could probably stick with him maybe he still scores a touchdown now as far as the Browns go DeShaun Watson is in there supposedly healthy would you trust him against the Cowboys trust is a very strong word with DeShawn Watson that I don't use often or ever to be honest but not in the one QB League I don't want to be starting Deshawn Watson but like in a 2qb super Flex League I mean I'd prefer him over gter muu I'll say that right uh and that's the thing is my question is would I trust somebody like him over somebody like Dak Prescott the answer is no it's still too risky here so Watson is fine in the 2 QB league but that's it and then what about David and joku yeah again I think he's one of these guys you drafted in joku probably as your tight end one no reason not to start him exactly think he'll get fed enough targets here Dallas defense isn't going to be quite what it was last year joku should still be fine the commanders Commanders at Buccaneers: Fantasy Football 2024 Start Em Sit Em QBs & TEs Week 1 taking on the Buccaneers we get to see the debut of Jaden Daniels Road game against Tampa expectations mixed I I could see him being very good I could see him being you know not very good but he's got that rushing upside I mean certainly in a 2 QB super Flex League I think you have to start him but I think even if you punted QB and he is your qb1 I'm fine starting him this week well I will say Tampa doesn't have you know the strongest defense but Washington doesn't have the best offensive line or receiving core I'd rather not risk Daniels because sure he might make a couple of highlight worthy plays but they could also be highlights for the defense so I'm just too risky here I prefer him as a qb2 in superflex and then Washington might need to lean on their tight ends because of that thinness at receiver could we see Resurgence from Zach SS I mean probably Cliff kingsbery likes SS he'll probably find ways to get him involved I mean I'm not starting SS but it wouldn't surprise me if hers had a nice game yeah this feels like one of those DFS kind of a tournament plays that's it I mean let's not go too far here with you know this whole Resurgence thing and then Ben CA the rookie tight end he probably will have his time but I don't think he comes in week one no too soon to start don't do it all right are we buying in to Baker because look this Washington defense isn't too scary but would you actually start baker Mayfield yeah well I think in a 2qb superflex league definitely you shouldn't need Baker Mayfield in a 1qb league look Baker Mayfield might be one of the top quarterbacks this week because this Washington defense is so bad but hopefully you have better options so 2 QB super Flex only right I mean realistically they should never come a point where you have to start baker Mayfield in a one QB League unless it's a 16 Team league so keep him as a qb2 and be happy with that and then Kade Aon does he have maybe streaming appeal here because of the matchup I mean maybe because of the matchup but we said that many times last year and then he just was out there running win Sprints all games so maybe he scores if he doesn't you're probably going to wish you hadn't started them so touchdown or bust start only right I think I feel like kind of be like last year you need him for a buy or injury replacement and you don't this Rams at Lions: Fantasy Football 2024 Start Em Sit Em QBs & TEs Week 1 week all right Ram's going to take on the Lions well Matt Stafford gets another crack at his former team in Detroit does that make you feel good enough about him it makes me feel good enough about him in a 2qb super Flex League again I I don't want to start Matthew Stafford this week in a 1qb league but 2qb superflex he should have plenty of upside right given the fact that everybody's playing everybody's healthy for the most part you shouldn't need Stafford in a single QB league and then a tight end it looks like it might be kobby Parkinson was kind of one of those deep sleepers in a lot of fantasy leagues is this too deep though I mean for most leagues yes this is too deep but if you're in like a two tight end League or just an incredibly deep League where everybody goes crazy with tight ends he has a chance this week yeah there's a chance but there's a lot of other tight ends who have a chance he's not going to be my favorite even as a streamer in a deep League then Jared Goff what do you think he can do it's a home game that's good for him home game against the Rams I mean I'd probably be fine starting Jared Goff even in one QB there you go I mean a little lower on the qb1 Spectrum but hey Jared G definitely not the worst pick this week and of course Sam leapa there should be no doubts now if you got him you're starting him all season on Monday night Jets at 49ers: Fantasy Football 2024 Start Em Sit Em QBs & TEs Week 1 the taking on the 49ers and we will finally maybe get to see a whole game of Aaron roders as a jet but it's on the road against the 49ers yeah not the best matchup on the road but still I mean it's Aaron Rodgers I think 2 QB superflex he's fine but not in one QB yeah maybe I'm just more down on Rogers than most I really wouldn't want to start him even in a superflex league there are some of these quarterbacks I would prefer over him and it's not because of injury risk I just don't think he puts it big numbers but I could be wrong now I do sort of like the tight end there Tyler Conlin but not this week in this matchup right I mean again if you're in like some crazy deep League where you have to potentially start Tyler Conlin you could do worse but you could also probably do better and for now we're still going to call George KD a must start if you drafted him Brock pie is he close to that Mark most weeks yes but this is the I know they're at home I think Brock p is fine in like a 2qb superflex league or if you're in a really deep maybe a 16 teamer and you punt it and he's your qb1 but in like a 12 team or shallower League I wouldn't want to start him in a one QB league so 2 QB superflex yeah super risky this week maybe no Trent Williams even more important the Jets defense I will pass on him although in superflex I do think elast has enough floor you can start him there all right we covered quarterback tight end we
