Intro from mastering Nicks countless abilities to choosing the right gameplay settings here are 10 early game tips when starting Star Wars Outlaws yo it's your boy James over expectto go bring you guys fun and positive gaming content special thanks to Ubisoft for sending me an early review code so I can help you on your Star Wars Outlaws Journey Set Settings setting your gameplay and visual settings is the first thing you should do before jumping in to Star Wars Outlaws from difficulty settings and even miname settings start the game based on your game G play style making the experience of the game that much more better you can change difficulty under gameplay experience offering options for combat Explorer mode which allows you to remove the yellow paint and lastly miname difficulties allowing you to disable mini games entirely for your visual settings go to the display and Graphics menu where you can pick aspect ratio fil grain chromatic aberation visuals and more importantly the three types of image quality with standard quality at 30 FPS performance quality at 60 FPS and of course favor quality which is right in between at 40 FPS once you start a Star Wars Outlaws Focus on Story Quest focus on the main quest to do this go to your menu in K's Journal which shows you six types of quests with the main quest being at the very top you will want to do these Quest early to learn the basic mechanics of the game and move the story along faster so you can get to one of my favorite Parts which is space exploration allowing you to truly take advantage of the first Star Wars open world game by traveling and exploring the five open world planets whenever and wherever you want another benefit to focusing on the main quest early are the essential upgrades whether getting the ion ability for your blaster or Trailblazer upgrades for your space exploration there we go Star Wars Outlaws is a massive game Go Explore with so many opportunities and things to do so early in the game consider taking time to explore this will help you get delay of the land for when a main quest Intel Quest or expert Quest takes you all over your current city or Planet exploring is beneficial when it comes to sneaking into Syndicate territories finding Vents and tight crawl spaces are invaluable for quests infiltrating a rival Syndicate one of my favorite parts of exploring was Finding hidden chest which had valuable items to be sold or credits or kept for upgrades or even used for simple cosmetics and even the random popup events I would overhear on the radio whenever I traveled on my speeder while exploring allowed me to help a small village who was being attacked by Pirates Who when complete offered me a great Talk to Everyone reward if looking for cool rewards like credits which is money or upgrades in cosmetics or Intel talk to NPCs like a true open world game Star Wars Outlaws rewards your exploration and interaction with the NPCs that inhabit its gorgeous environments after paying off the debt of a random shopkeeper I interacted with earlier I got cheaper prices on items bought and more credits on items sold to that specific shopkeep this helped me very early in my game when credits aren't as readily available everyone here is terrified of the Empire uhuh how would a discount or something yes yes absolutely thank you Learn & Play Sabacc again credits or money early in the game play can be slow to build up with salable items most of the time being valued below 50 or 25 credits I found that saach was an easy and fun way to build up your credits which is needed to upgrade kad's armor Blaster speeder and even ship zabach is a popular card game played in the Star Wars Universe where the lowest value pair wins found in the cities like Mirana rewarding upwards of50 credits to you early in your Outlaws Journey I'll have a tips and tricks video on saach and other Star Wars Outlaws topics up this week so make sure to subscribe and drop a like on the video if it's helpful so far thanks for the game since you play as a scual in Star Steal A LOT Wars Outlaws another way to get credits or valuable items is stealing allowing you to steal from random shops syndicates and even individuals using your trusted pal NYX to do this go into Nyx mode by holding L1 on the PlayStation it's there you can identify individuals you can and can't steal from Once you you found someone you can send Nicks to pickpocket that specific individual once there you have a timer having you hit L1 again before the timer runs out and you get caught I enjoyed pick poock Stormtroopers for example with Nicks who always dropped grenades to collect grenades another valuable item especially early in game when your blaster might not be up to par against some of the tougher enemies speaking of Learn Nix Early Nyx learn NYX mechanics early I cannot stress this enough NYX is the most important feature in Star Wars Outlaws offering a wide array of abilities that will help you as K in your exploration combat and even stealth you can fetch blasters grenades and even back to vials for your health when dropped by enemies during comat in stealth Nicks can distract and attack enemies opening up a stealthy takedown from K one of my go-to NYX abilities was NYX sense NYX can highlight enemies interactable items locate cables and more all through things that might impede your visibility so you can get a visual of your surroundings without having to be exposed while in Stu and that's just some of Nick's abilities that you can learn and use while playing Star Wars Outlaw so again learn how to use NYX early you won't regret it quick tip Prepare for Stealth there's a lot of stuff a lot of stuff just be prepared whether you're excited about that aspect of the game or not either way it's in the game it's a lot of stealth especially early in the game and that might dictate how you enjoy the game so again get ready for a lot of Use Experts Early stealth another tip and feature to get ready for are experts experts are star war Outlaws specific leveling system and skill tree mechanics to access this go to the ability section of your in-game menu it's here you'll find eight or so experts each offering abilities and upgrades for a specific feature for example Bram the bartender can increase cas's health with an armored undershirt earned by collecting iron weaves and course weaves experts also allow you to not only level up K but your vehicles and weapons as well to get these upgrades you have to do Quests for your expert outside the main quest so make sure to take time to complete these expert quests to maximize your Outlaws gameplay early on lastly pick a Pick a Syndicate Early Syndicate to Ally with early on before even going into the game I chose the Crimson Dawn because of one person Kira wow but also I love the Crimson rain Comics that also take place during this specific time period in Star Wars Outlaws that feature the nights of Ren one of my favorite groups anyway having a Syndicate in Star Wars Outlaws that you want to work with early allows you to have a good reputation and even good benefits from that specific Syndicate early in your Journey which is invaluable from access to restricted areas under their Control job opportunities to build up that relationship even more to discounts at stores and even cosmetic gifts free that come just by having an ally within that Syndicate making your early game play easier as you get more familiar with the game and its features and its mechanics why
