his name is he doesn't know him that way right the show's name is Lear the name is that so when that happened right cuz you were like oh okay like you couldn't see him no I couldn't see him we were at a sporting good store he was in the studio when you left that did you think anything of it I was fairly confident that he said that in a dismissive manner yes I was fairly confident but I didn't have the visual proof to say so right and no one around me thought of it that way if you listen to the co-host SPS who's the host of the show he was like yeah he's got he was laughing yeah and then what's funny was there was a stoie who was there watching the show there was there was a you know crowd of people watching and he was like man that [ __ ] Bernstein I was like he's like he's like I was watching on Twitch and I I filmed it and I came here right after to help you and I was like I appreciate it then he showed me and then once he showed me the ending part where he takes off the headphones and he and Lawrence asks him what did he call you and he mouths Bernstein Bernstein unbelievable then it was undeniable what had happened and then at that point like we showed the producer we showed the co-host and then we talked about it later on in the air they pulled the whole clip and we were all laughing about it called him Bernstein like six more times that was kind of it I mean if you're him he was saying like you don't know me like that so don't call me by my last name but if you were to call him anything else if you call him Daniel which he doesn't go by his nickname Bernay that would insinuate that you think you know him more yes totally said burnsy and be like all right I mean maybe I get it but it's not also that's just how I don't that's how you you talk like that all the time you always you make up new nicknames doing called you mbed before some crazy [ __ ] what's funny is call me kill sometimes yes my buddy texted me hold on I'm going to pull it up so I don't mess it up but he said that word for word he's like uh the irony that Eddie gets uh in a controversy for calling someone their actual name instead of their million nicknames very funny you know how long this guy was trying to make Danimal stick that's pretty good I was I was dude that was cuz that's just shows you everything you need to know about these oldtime radio people where like sometimes people are great but sometimes it's like that guy went in knowing he hated barcol didn't care who you were didn't give a [ __ ] about how you were on the show and people were probably liking you on the show and he was getting all out of hand and that's one picking that is insane well it was the transition period like we were going to your show so like I probably have 30 seconds to somehow take a jab at this guy what's he going to give me that I could work with that's it and if you watch when he instantly introduces it and he says barcel Sports it pains him to get barol out of his mouth y it pains him but I couldn't see that at the moment you know and I he he Lawrence who like Dan said in the ACT I I don't think he's very uh fond of barol either correct I that would be my guess and and you know I think as much I i' but I could be I could be I don't know no I I I can't pull the exact moment but there's definitely been a few dusted ups with him over yeah but but you know what though he was cordial heally yes professional he got me involved in the conversation like said Eddie you know pass me the rock yeah I there was none of that from Bernstein and and and I kind of caught on to that and I was like in real time you did oh yeah oh yeah and and that's why like I was like with the glasses yeah I was like I want this guy to interact yeah I wasn't want it I didn't want it to be an unpleasant interaction that was not the goal why would I think asking him if he's a horoscope guy and using his last name would be you could have asked him like [ __ ] anything the most normal the star down after he said you don't know me that way was like like rage in his eyes Inc just said I'm happy I don't know you I watched that so many times I was on I was going to at first I I tweeted I was going to make fun of Eddie being like Oh Bernstein's the best then I the ra the I gaged the internet we were very mad at this guy and I was like all right [ __ ] this guy well I don't think people like him in general I mean I could I wonder why Scrooge McDuck yeah it's just old people that just that they've been doing it for so long so they think they're better than everybody else and it's also like the classic like he hates barol even not knowing what it is he can't tell you why though 100% hypocrisy is insane he has like many I mean as Dave has put out there today a lot of older tweets that are like problematic yet to issue an apology for something 2015 he was stok in the Flames of like the Patrick Sharp Duncan Keith wife controversy in 15 like this guy is he's always been this way and it's I would love to just give one of those guys Tru serum one of these days to see because like if he does hate Barcelo by saying oh they're misogynistic and he's getting these tweets pulled up saying like oh I wouldn't watch her play but I'd watch her boobs bounce around like how do you defend that how come it's okay for you to say that but you still are call other people it's just easy to hate us but like what would his what would his answer be to that none he doesn't have one like no I could do that I said it different yeah like I I'm actually joking I'm a good guy it's like right my favorite thing about what Dave does is like he'll be like how about you tell me exactly why you hate us and then I'll actually talk to you about it like that if you came with hating us for that had to issue an apology and that was in 15 and then I I think then Trump was going and then he just completely flipped to like I tuned in today and they were talking about like what's good show when was that that came out last year 2023 yeah uh beef yeah that was pretty when did that come out um 2023 do you like the bear but he's not bear doesn't qualify to Mar it's got to it had to have came out last year yeah okay I'm pretty right you named two shows I mean the bear season two was last year season two no I just think TV's been here and this guy's just trying that's what I'm wrestling what you guys watch when you go home I just watched presum inoc since not that long ago couple weeks ago very good show I did did a rewatch of Sopranos recently I'm doing that right now for that I'm actually about to start that I do feel I do get some fomo not having Apple TV in certain streaming services he good presumed innocence was very good see like I don't even know I don't even know it's uh gyllen Hall yeah there's a couple other people in it that you would recognize yeah yeah you just that's crazy it's almost crazy you know Nate doesn't watch his TV he watches like he go on his couch and watch a show or whatever on his laptop what's the point why why and his TV's right here so say this is his couch he's watching [ __ ] on his laptop you do that he does no time out time out I I I prefer to watch shows in my bed me too versus with the TV no I don't know I just like I feel like I'm locked in like I'm closer to the screen I can hear it better I don't need subtitles like now these speakers always have maybe I just need a better speaker system this is a big the subtitles are a problem for my me lately I feel like CU your TV is a mile away no it's not first of all first of all and I upgraded that TV it's 85 in or whatever it is but like the subtitles they're never lined up to like the actual dialogue drives me [ __ ] crazy I'm I'm a if the subtitles are lined up I have subtitles on no matter what 100% of the time well there's there's subtitle rankings for sure like Netflix has it down YouTube YouTube's dog [ __ ] they won't they'll misspell words just whatever they heard's a little sh I don't understand subtitle people I really don't I didn't know I love it you're just reading no you're not it takes I'm not watching the acting you can't watch it for like some shows cuz it just gives away what they're about to say sometimes which is bad but like sometimes if it's a show you're not fully locked in on it is nice you or if like I started doing it for py blinders what the [ __ ] are they even saying they can't understand them I turned that off in 4 seconds so that's why I I saw a horse in accents you didn't watch py blinders I heard I would love it my friends tell me all the time I don't do shows with horses really yeah so you're out on Sopranos well that was unfortunate episode yeah but that was well only one that's not the main plot they don't have to get around on horses I think you might like Yellowstone so a few horses in that so that's why I'll watch a show and then I'll go on Wikipedia and read what the episode synopsis was so I make sure I got everything so are you watching your laptop in your room even though you have a TV in your room it's insane I don't have a TV in my room okay that makes it better I'm anti-tv in the room too are you yeah I don't watch shows that I like I watch com shows in bed so I don't have to pay attention to it Entourage friends curb all that stuff where I've seen it thousands of times yeah it's background noise yeah so I'll do I need like a podcast that I've listened to a dozen times at least to help to fall asleep yeah if I don't have it I'll just sit there and think my own thoughts which is never good I do that and I fall asleep your your own thoughts put you to sleep yeah sometimes like we we've been through this Matt yeah yeah that's I don't know that's you just don't live life correctly I've told you that thousands of times how what is wrong with that what you asking what's wrong with just staying up at night watching ring cameras dude you don't enjoy your time alone you don't enjoy it that's not enjoyable how you going to tell me that cuz I just no there's cuz I want to watch something that is a finite ending and I don't these ring cameras cuz when I get on when I watch a ring camera video uh Marty it's [ __ ] 12 minutes and out I don't have to watch one episode and be like all right 67 more of these but that's the best character development the plot all the like I like shows you're not saying I I just don't like the last show you watched if Sopranos came out today you wouldn't watch it you'd be sitting there watching [ __ ] mberry Street ring yeah I watch I've seen all the big ones I I don't watch sitcoms I I am completely deaf to sitcoms I don't I iated by the left tracks do you yeah the old like old Seinfeld ones you don't [ __ ] with Mike and Molly no like I feel like I I know I'm missing out I know I would enjoy Feld Sunny uh CB I know I'd enjoy all those I just like oh curb's not a sitcom what is it I wouldn't put it as a sitcom sitcom to me is is is more like King of Queens um so the guy who wrote Seinfeld wrote a second show he's like king of sitcoms but his second show which is the exact same show don't call it a sitcom when it's like I know what you mean like herb wasn't more because it's also out on HBO yeah only HBO like Seinfeld was out on what NBC I don't know what NBC NBC I know it's wrong what I'm saying okay as long as you know yeah but like I think curb doesn't to me sound feel like a sitcom just no you're you're right like by definition curb is a sitcom but what makes a sitcom and sitcom is the laugh track like the the multi the one camera view just looks old like it's tires a sitcom yeah to me I don't I guess just cuz it's came out on netx Netflix all right I watched that three-part Lacy Peterson thing I watched that too that's a documentary right yes so it's another but like you're a true crime guy you love True Crime that's what you're you're hoping to do like a minut aan where you log into somebody's ring Cam and catch catch you you know what we got to do we just got to put like a a TV in front of the Ring cam the ring camera on someone's porch that that way Eddie will actually watch the show this ISB unfair dude hey we were investigative journalist with the monkey and then HBO they pick it up yeah dude uh Pat always sends me that our video he goes people forget and he sends me like a million views on YouTube really is it how many does it have that like 900,000 it hit some algorithm with a bunch of people that I think it was when something happened saw that for sure had to have yeah it crazy that thing was nuts trying to see the chimp algorithm I'm trying to see my like Netflix like history yeah cuz you don't know what shows you he's try he doesn't have his password also pisses me the [ __ ] off and never lets me watch it scumbag platform I don't know it just always there's an error in playback there's an error in playback I I like the the what do you call it look that UPL like what qualifies PG versus pg-3 PG and then don't even get me started with tv14 what's the difference there we go from PG-13 to tv14 what can a 14-year-old handle it a 13 all yeah so it's like the sand lot Night at the Museum those are good great movies Friday the Mighty Ducks Shrek Top Gun Top gun's PG PG I'm not sure what the new one is but the original is PG do you think that scale has moved yeah has to right for sure so it's looking like PG-13 often including stronger language more intense violence or mature themes but I mean so you're saying Top Gun was PG the original one was PG oh I don't know about this one I mean this one's probably PG too right probably but under these guidelines like like if you say it's pretty violent like if they're yeah but you don't see anybody other than Goose like no one like dies dies yeah you know like there's no blood or anything it's Network versus h I mean if you any Disney movies really [ __ ] up like everyone's parents die in Disney every single one uh what's Frozen parents die Lion King yeah up the wife yeah it's [ __ ] up movies just because their cartoons doesn't make it not [ __ ] up but horror movies and comedies you go in and I and I I check the rating and I know if it's if it's not R it's not going to be As Good As It Go oh yeah a PG rated horror movies I think that I also don't never watch yeah it's like when the Poo Halloween adventure yeah that's a nightmare I'm not a horror movie I won't watch yeah me too makes no sense to me why don't you watch that pay to get scared good one Ed yeah you pay to feel something what it's okay maybe you should get invested in a series you'll feel something for the character yeah like I feel everything in these other shows murder mystery it's still kind of like a little scary that was a gruesome scene in Zoom denn yeah and you like like pop out scared and time out do I get any credit for being a movie guy yeah I was going to say what you lack in exactly like what's what do you mean movie guy I'm going to tell you how many times I've been theater artist here he goes but like that's I would say some of those hours would be better spent watching great TV it's also because you got the pass so you got to make sure you got to make up a appearances but you're committing with drive time and everything 2 and a half hours to go see a movie that objectively is ter terrible instead of just being like I'm going to sit here and watch two episodes of pres he's seen more movies than like Ebert and Robert to say terrible so right you just thought about this time eating going to the movie is one of the most like that's four hours of your day we could watch four episodes It's I've seen 12 movies in theater this year yeah how many were good and I've seen 13 I watched one on Netflix you spent more than a full day in the movie theater yeah year you have you don't know how long the Run probably way more but like you're getting your popcorn you're sitting there previews that's good emotionally connect the best place for me you watching credits best place for you it's the best cuz it's the only place I can go in my life in the year 2024 and not give a [ __ ] about my iPhone that's true I do that honestly I love that I do it I swear to God ask ask Ria I literally put my phone down now and watch shows cuz it makes that makes me happy not going on were on the plane to Oakland for longer than with there okay and that is an inconvenience for you and I do I know you love that [ __ ] and the funny thing is you're the most curious guy yeah that's why I wanted to go before it was gone but but like but what what's what's universally known as the best state of in baseball I would say uh San Francisco or Pittsburgh yeah for for our next work trip can you get a little more curious about Honolulu yeah that's what I mean like you could have picked any stadium and could Frisco is a most G i' ever been to I believe that some of the funniest moments are born out of miserableness I totally agree with that agree I agree like I go back and like one of my favorite trips I went on with my friends we were like 20 years old went to Country Thunder and it rained all four nights and our T we didn't we slept in like the mud basically that everyone was so pissed off and so angry it was so funny but it's a fun story guess yes exactly how old were you I was 20 there you go when you at the age now it's actually kind of nice to do fun things you did all that when you're poor you just you're getting muddy with your friends scaming for coins that's fun
