Pack and Prep with Me Universal Studios Orlando

he [Music] [Music] welcome back it's me oanda got here to the nail salon I'm here to update my nails they are super terrible right now I'm thinking about getting like like a Beetle Juice type theme um nothing too crazy as far as like designs but something with a little a little something in there so we'll see and then um after that I'm going to go back home I will finish cleaning and then probably start packing tomorrow I've already started putting stuff into piles to make it easier for me tomorrow so I'll be videoing that for you guys as far as right now goes let's go do our nails [Music] so I'm so excited let me show them to you so I wanted to do like a spooky Beetle Juice inspired look um just something cool to have out there at Universal SL Halloween Horror Nights but we're also going to be watching Beetle Juice on Wednesday so let me show you my nails these are the nails that I got so you can see here um there's like a little bit of slime and then we have you know the stripes and then just the the lime green tips but together I think that it's like subtle spooky like subtle but still hint of Beetle Juice I love them like I'm so excited um and yeah let's go home cuz we got stuff to do we got stuff to do so let's head home hi friends welcome back to my channel it's me oanda we are here today packing for Universal Studios Orlando I'm so excited me and my family have never been there so we're going in as first timers ready to experience all the things literally all the things because we will also be doing horror nights so let's pack for Universal Studios Orlando I know that they have two parks it's Universal and also um Islands of Adventure now I'm assuming that we'll be Park hopping both of those parks for the 3 days that we're there the three Park days but let me show you guys the outfit so far when I'm over there I do plan on snacking like a regular Universal t-shirt that way it doesn't really matter you can kind of wear it wherever from Walmart it's a little spooky pajama set um there's Dracula in there you'll see um The Bride of Frankenstein so it's giving Universal um monsters so I liked it I thought it was super cute now first outfit that I'm going to show you is actually pretty funny because if somebody was like dress like your favorite DreamWork land character I would show them this outfit have this skirt I think it's from Sheen um I picked this up from Amazon isn't this so hilarious not the Gumdrop button my Gumdrop button and then I have this to go underneath I'll be wearing sunscreen just for the days that I'm kind kind of wearing these like little netted shirts but this is just for like a photo um but I think it's super funny I've seen people dress up like Shrek Fiona um the Fairy Godmother and I think this is just kind of hilarious and very me shirt from Five and Below I did size up because Five and Below shirts always scare me I don't know if they're like Juniors or not but I got this at five and below so if you're heading to Universal and you're going to stop in DreamWorks l this was five bucks um and then I got this from Sheen I've had it it's like a one like a romper um I think the fit looks super cute together I think they have Shrek ears over there I'm not sure so we'll see a Slytherin and I have this pleated Squirt from Old Navy now when you're doing outfits I think it's fun to um kind of just include the details right so I have another like two black skirts it's because it has the pleat so it kind of goes with the like Hogwart school um theme so that was my thought process there but it's super cute and it's comfortable and it has shorts underneath so when like a dark Harry Potter theme obviously everyone in their mama has done Slytherin um I've seen people do the dark mark I'm not saying that I haven't but for me I just wanted to I knew that was something I wanted to do and I've had this shirt for a while like I've had a lot of these things here for a while so the only thing I the only two shirts that I bought was the the one from five and below the Shrek and then the gingerbread shirt so that should tell you don't feel the need to go run out and buy a new outfit like you probably have stuff in your closet so shirt from Wizarding pets which is super cool and then these are from Sheen these are this cute little like boxer um shorts and then I do have this like coret top that I thought would you know be light enough to layer so I wouldn't be sweating my butt off but also just give it that look of like another another layering look like I think it would be kind of cool kind of rad um and then I have these checkered socks which I think are cool I think this outfit is actually going to be kind of fire not going to lie and then I did pick these up from Amazon because that's who I am as a person want to do like a little cute veloca coaster theme or Jurassic Park theme I thrifted this a while ago it's a men's shirt from like Walmart this BR top is from Target these shorts because I am a mid plus-sized gal are from torid so if you're over a size 10 torid is the way to go cuz they have comfortable shorts comfortable being the key word um and then my husband has this for when we go to the beach which I won't have this little thing dangling but I think it's super cute to look like you're exploring the Jurassic Park you know but I had these Jean overall like dress overall um from American Eagle I actually got it on clearance and then I had these because my son wore them in Galaxy's Edge I'll probably just take a photo with them and then let him like do his minion thing and then I have this net shirt but it's not really yellow I don't know if the camera is picking it up it's actually like a lime green night I have these American Eagle shorts and then I have this from Sheen which I thought would be cool I also have a orange netted top that I think would add like some flare to this outfit but I don't know what I do with it you guys we going to run a quick errand and that is going to be we're going to see if we could find the crumble cookie why am I doing this because I leave tomorrow I don't know but like I don't want to miss the opportunity I want to go get it I feel like it's going to be like a cute mood setting treat right because we're going to go watch Beetle Juice in CityWalk in Orlando tomorrow night so that's going to be fun hence the nails so I'm going to go pick up a cookie from there we're going to try it out together and then we'll come back and and pack promise promise so let's I just got in the car it's raining but that's not going to stop us from getting our spooky treat today so let's go to crumble [Music] [Music] [Music] okay you guys so we got the crumble oh good so hopefully it is um this is just like a little [Music] topper and it says Beetle Juice go see the movie show you guys all the different layers well there's two of each layer the cake two layers of the cake and then two layers of the frosting so early for this too big of a fan of chocolate cake this one's pretty good um I feel like it's exactly what it looks like though dark chocolate cake better with frosting I'm not sure what kind of frosting it is I'm not sure if it's buttercream um and then just the pink and green sprinkles but still I think it's super cute to kind of kick off Beetle juu week with this it's Orlando and it rains I'm going to pack maybe an extra few comfortable outfits maybe I don't feel like wearing one of these character bounds that day um or maybe it's wet and I'm sticky and I don't want to do that so I will definitely still pack some like comfortable clothes um I try to keep my outfits comfortable anyways but just in the instance that maybe like I feel bloated or anything like that things happen out there so always give yourself some options now these are the compression packing cubes that I got from Amazon I'm going to start packing some of my stuff away um so I can start putting them in my suitcase everything charged so it's ready for tomorrow that includes like battery packs so if you see like wiry messes that's why let me see if I can show it to you clearly here's the bag that I'm going to be packing so for instance maybe I'll do like I'll try to put the outfits like together um just so it makes it easier for me out there so have the Gingy skirt that I'm going to use for him I have the netted [Music] shirt I'm going to put on top and then I have my Gingy shirt I'm going to put on top here is my Shrek shirt I mean I think quite a few things will fit in here this one I'm going to put it there's some room at the bottom so I'm going to stick that on the bottom because it's kind of like fluffier material now let's pack a Slytherin I'm actually kind of impressed with this packing tube like already I thought I was going to need a bunch the way I do the other ones but so far we're looking we're looking good slide that in [Music] there break those maybe just these last like three denim items but that's a lot okay um very interested right now to see how this goes [Music] okay like look at that okay what now let's see is this is this really is it going to do the trick I don't feel like I overpacked [Music] it this is what it's compressed down to and that's kind of amazing cuz that fit most of my items in there before I would be using maybe like five pack cubes um I guess cuz it would let the items stay like bulky and this like it again it's a compression packing Cube so like if somebody has maybe like a day trip or two-day trip and they wanted to save money and do like one of those airlines that maybe they charge you for additional baggages or something I feel like this would be really good for like packing a carryon I am impressed and stuff that I'm packing that might some of it might be repetitive for Disney but some of them are Universal specific so let's get into that okay so real quick let me show you guys what I'm going to wear to the beetle juu Premiere that we're going to um or not Premiere just like opening like the day before I don't know whatever we had to pay for it it's not like I was invited anyway um so I'm going to wear this athletic skirt it's different from the other one cuz it's not pleated and don't mind the mess I'm going to explain it right now and then this I got this from Miss Doodles a lot on Etsy a few years ago and I think that's super cute I also have a braal top that's like a lime green so I think that's what I'm going to wear along with this bullsit eye clip that I got it's a little dangler clip that you can find at Target so cute but like I'm so excited for that whole fit for my family of four so it looks like a lot of items just kind of junk but I have to sort through it and kind of give everybody their own stuff so we have everybody's fans everybody is going to be in charge of holding their own fans everybody's going to have a fanny pack and or backpack to have I know Universal is different in the sense that like you you want a smaller bag in order to take the smaller bag either onto the ride or to fit in the free lockers that they provide these do collapse um but the battery time on these is really good compared to like the small small ones um so we're going to take these these have been like a lifesaver in Disney in the summer these have been like my go-to I've had this one for so long I just upgraded the kids from the small little rinkadink ones um and then my husband needed a new one so these are our fans and everybody will be in charge of again holding their own fans the universal specific but also not um so I got us these little waterproof foone cases this is just in the inst that the kids want to do the water rides there I know they're pretty intense I know Disney has water rides too um but from what I understand they have like two in the same park I just felt it was like necessary um just to protect their phones so we have these in case they want to get on them I'm not a fan of water rits but kids are kids it's true so I got these D rings I think they're called d-rings um from Amazon I normally get the bigger size and over time we kind of lose them all but um the bigger size is better because sometimes I'll hook random things onto my backpack so like if my Disney World mug is empty and I still want it on my backpack but not taking room in my backpack then I will just like latch it on to the side of my backpack empty obviously with a de hook so I normally pack these I'm not sure of the situation in uh Universal I just figured packing a few of these would be a good idea since I do it anyway are Essentials in here so I'll put some ibuprofen I'll put um some Tylenol I'll put some Band-Aids I'll put some mol skin patches in case somebody's foot is rubbing up against their skin um this thing for me is easier in my bag because it's red so I can see it very quickly it's small enough to fit what I need um but yeah so I'm going to pack our medical stuff in here and it's Orlando so I'm going to be packing our rain pouches of course the Downy Wrinkle release it just helps like for instance that Beetlejuice shirt is going to be so wrinkled so I can either iron or I can just kind of spray on spray this on the shirt and tug it out and the wrinkles will come out just fine ey drops especially if you're like a contact wearer like myself and my my husband um I get I normally get the allergy one because I have really bad allergies and that's normally the thing that messes with my eyes the most however he actually gets really dry eyes so I'll get him like the contact replenishing drops and stuff like that so make sure to pack those especially if you wear contacts it comes in handy just cuz I create content um normally I'll pack my Sony camera that I'm Vlogging on right now um but this time I'm actually going to be packing my GoPro um this is just because it's a lot easier more portable I be using that in Universal for vlogging so hopefully um it takes just as good footage as this Sony camera that I'm on universal specific but it is Horror Night specific I'll be packing these earplugs because I'm not about to get a headache anyway I did get these off Amazon I like them cuz they have the three different colors they come in these little plastic packs um so they're really cute really handy and I think it's going to be key for horror nights
