Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 - HUGE UPDATES INCOMING [NEW CONTENT ROADMAP RELASED] Dev Update

Intro welcome back again to Warhammer Space Marine 2 we have a bunch of brand new updates coming in from the developers and also every 3 months we are going to be getting a new content update that we're also going to be looking at in this video there is so much happening especially after the actual release and we have so much to go over so let's go ahead and see exactly what's going on and the plan so this just came out and this is obviously to do with some of the additions now the battle pass has to be bought separately for the game I know it's a little bit confusing but anyway for September season 1 it's already available the ultra Marines cosmetic pack if you guys want to have those all you got to do is just go to the customization options in game and you guys can have a look at them there you'll see the skins on the screen right now they look pretty damn good in season 2 this is also in 2024 we're going to have the Champions pack the Cosmetic pack and also the weapon skin pack if you're wondering exactly when we're going to be getting this update here is exactly the date that we have so on screen now you're going to see exactly how this is played out season 2 is before the end of 2024 we're going to get Dark Angels uh cosmetic pack Champion pack and also the weapon skin pack so this is before the end of 2024 which we're getting kind of close to it moving over to 2025 we have season 3 and season 4 one chapter will receive Champion pack cosmetic pack weapon skin pack another chapter will receive a champion pack and then the same thing for season 4 now when will these be coming in well season 4 is in Spring 20125 and season 3 is in winar 2025 so we're basically going to have about 3 to 4 months in between these updates which is honestly not that bad considering the game is new and between each update you're going to have a lot to do anyway so yeah overall how do you guys think about this update now obviously the battle pass will have some content included that they haven't shown already um there's a lot of happening behind the scenes so there's going to be so much more than just these packs that we're going to be getting look for a lot of new content and obviously I'll keep you guys updated as soon as I have any information as at all obviously moving Cheaters Found over here be careful playing PVP because it seems like people have found cheaters that are running wild in PvP this guy did say space man Me 2 already has cheaters it has got just been released hopefully the anti Che gets these dung noodles banned from the multiplayer so yeah be careful out there in PvP as you guys can see right now in the game play yeah he is obviously cheating right there um not taking any damage and just flying through everything obviously at the top of the leaderboard going there with 20 objectives and his kills at sitting at 16 while everyone is still on single digits so yeah there you go um cheaters are going to be everywhere anyway so I'm not really that surprised Backlash now that we are on Steam right now if you do scroll down to the store Page of space Ming Warhammer you can see right now that I actually have this Gold Edition right there but for people that don't have the Gold Edition or the ultra Edition you have the standard edition apparently you actually do have to buy this and it's cost £35 which is about $40 if you go scroll into it right now this is where you get all the um the cosmetics in the season pass these are all the Skins obviously right there um yeah so it's kind of crazy you actually have to pay on top of it and it has seen some backlash over at Reddit this guy did post unlocking season pass cosmetic DLC should not cost real money and in-game currency once you have purchased the DLC season pass you still have to unlock it through in-game currency as if it's normal cosmetic so in a sense you are not only purchasing the right to buy the Cosmetic in Game of currency which is a problem since the currency is shared with level and gear progression all yeah small nitpick but I shouldn't have to split earnable in-game currency between freely accessible Cosmetics G leveling and the season pass unlockables I purchase with real money so yeah it does seem like a big problem not only do you have to spend around $40 for the Cosmetic pack you also have to buy it with real money um and then obviously in-game money as well that you have to buy other things ingame with it too so yeah definitely a little bit weird a This Is Weird little bit off topic here for the video but uh Brothers I found them the Marine from the trailers brother tight ass yeah um you just you really got to love some of these uh names sometimes you know going over the steam charts for the game right now it's looking pretty damn good the game is sitting 225,000 players reaching almost 226 which is absolutely This Is HUGE amazing for the game and I really do hope that keeps um this traction going and keeps bringing those players the game is also sitting at about 80% positive right now which again is absolutely amazing um I think the 200,000 players uh it's almost 300,000 players actually is on Steam so across all the board yeah we're pretty good right now and uh I think it's definitely going to get even higher I have seen recently there's been a lot of talk and a lot of conversation about the veteran difficulty or just the difficulty options in the game right now apparently the veteran difficulty experience right now is a little bit difficult for a lot Difficulty of players um some people are doing it because of the XP apparently the XP right now in the higher difficulty is just ridiculous you get a bunch of you know rewards for actually doing it in harder modes so if you do decide to redo the campaign at some point maybe raise the difficulty to have an even crazier experience obviously the Combos and the the enemies are already spongy as hell in standard mode so I'm guessing that's going to be even worse and I have heard that people did want a little bit of a Nerf to defense to the enemies apparently yeah like I said they are a bit of a bullet sponge and the combos they do against you is quite tough so if you do decide to do it in a higher difficulty be prepared so apparently PVP assault isn't the best PVP mode to play right now this guy just throws some grenades down to get damage the enemies and then watch this he basically just flies down with his jetpack and just clears out the entire Zone just like that pretty easy if you do say so myself I mean not really much of a challenge there obviously um depending on your play style you're not going to be always doing this but yeah just kind of a cool clip and that is it for this video didn't want to make it too long just to give you guys some of the brand new news happening between the community and also the developers and what's coming for the next year now obviously coming up to the end of 2024 we have a lot of content coming and then moving over to 2025 we have like another three updates coming in that time probably even more with a bunch of content I don't think this game is going to be going anywhere they have a lot of content to create especially seeing hell divers 2 and how that went they're probably going to want to keep this game as busy and conent filled as possible hopefully no major Nerfs that they did in Hell divers and creating a big Ruckus in the community and throwing people under the bus and throwing people away from the game obviously they see the issues happening
