all right well we are actually counting down to the taste of medison this weekend on the Capital Square WK is a proud sponsor many of us will be at the booth this week and come say hi joining us now as president of Madison Festival Sarah Clemy thank you so much for being here hi thank you for having me we were just looking at that weather graphic and like it's going to be perfect yes it looks absolutely like the most gorgeous weekend to come out and enjoy Madison so for those who haven't been yet which hopefully you've been but if you haven't what is Taste of Madison all about oh it's so great so you come down tone all around the square we have over 90 restaurants set up that's the most tast of madicon has ever had awesome so 90 different restaurants 28 different beverage stations music fun activities there's no ticket to get in so it's absolutely free to come uh if you want to pay for food and beverage you can but you can just come down and enjoy the atmosphere enjoy the music enjoy the activities it's just a great day to come outside so much to do just the energy at Taste is so fun um there are lot new attractions this year there are it's there's a ton of new stuff so we have playtopia over on East Washington which is arcade games and papa shot pickle ball and uh golfing and then on the other side we have the recharge Zone which there will be a glitter beard artist all day oh what what is I I know it's as funny as it sounds well so you don't have a beard and I don't have a beard but you could glitter your hair and your arms and your face I love just get all sparkly all day that's on Saturday on Sunday they'll have a nail tech doing free manicures yeah there's yoga the first hour on the capitol lawn every day that's free there's art auctions there's food and beverage pairings that are free it's all on our website recharge mind and body right and right you mentioned it's free so you don't need tickets to hear the music either you don't need tickets to hear the music you don't need tickets to go to the food and beverage pairing you don't need tickets to play the arcade games that's cool it's just free so again if you want to buy food there's a cost to that but that money stays with our restaurant friends so that stays right in our community if you want to buy a drink they're all R by volunteer group so that money the donations that go back to that those groups stay in our community um so really you could come and spend zero doar or you could come and spend a lot of dollars but no it stays right here in D County and talk about tasty hour T yes also known as happy hour but it's the first hour of each day so Saturday 2: to 3 uh Sunday 11: to 12 and Saturday night $8 to9 it's $2 off any drink great and then the last hour of the whole festival Sunday from 600 to 7 it's $5 for any drink and that includes our souvenir tumblers which our first come first serve they always sell out so and you have new beverage offerings this year oh my gosh one of them that I'm really excited about as we go into a badger weekend is the poosi varsity I know I've been I've been seen the Billboards and everything for that it's exciting so cool the can is cool so you can come and get the can money uh proceeds from the P Varsity go back to theity University Collective so it's another way to support our our great Community well thank you so much I'm excited to be there I'll be there Saturday 2: to 5: so come see us a taste of Madison thank you so much Sarah great to have you
