what's up YouTube Welcome Back to The Chance Bishop show for episode three of our MLB the show 24 Pittsburgh Pirates franchise mode here on the channel the last two episodes have been well it's been opening day as well as just to meet the team uh but here we go we have Jared Jones making his MLB debut uh the third ranked Prospect here in the Pirates uh Top 10 Prospects right that was a Paul schemes Tamar Johnson Anthony Salo Bubba Chandler uh Mitch Jeb Lonnie white and Conor Griffith uh Griffin Jones here ranked the 37th best Prospect in all of baseball's top 100 uh but here we go Jones making his major league debut at home at Pittsburgh uh you know not as popular or as hyped as you one Mr Paul skines but in his first at bat Christian Yelich going to be the first striker out here for Jared Jones in his big league career you love to see that there for the young Jared Jones now South fre look up and freck we'll pop that one up foul territory cab Brien Hayes giving Chase cab Brien Hayes foul territory makes the catch and there you go a big catch there take a look here at the Brewers lineup we have yichin left freck at second contras catching Hoskins at first doas at Short Ortiz at third TR Trio at right Perkinson Center and Garrett Mitchell is dhing William contras the brother of Wilson contras strikes that 98 high and that's going to be a 123 first inning here for Jared Ortiz and Ortiz puts that one in play up the middle and that's going to be a two out single here to the center fielder Michael Taylor so Taylor gets that one in quickly now up comes cherio and cherio out there slider inside gets them all tied up in knots hate to see that one right there up comes Andrew McCutchen who will watch ball four go by McCutchen on first base here with the two out walk so two outs in the in now for ymani grandal who will send that one to center field that one's high and caught though by the center fielder that's going to be an end here to the bottom of the second on now the top of the third hitting here as Perkins Mitchell and Yelich will all be du up so the center fielder Blake Perkins up and he will send that to left field Brian Reynolds comes in and will make the catch big out number one there for Brian Reynolds up comes Garrett Mitchell now the DH here and Mitchell will watch strike three go by tied up in knots and that 126 curveball big Uncle Charlie field no one's going to tempt his arm big throw off Target there I don't know if Jan Bay would be safe even with that being offline Reynolds up and Reynolds chops that one to Hoskins Who spins to to the shortstop Adamas not in time return back to Hoskins also not in time as well error on re there Bas is loaded for O'Neal Cruz who swings through that slider that's two out now here with the base is Juiced fourth Punch Out up comes Jack swinsky puts down on the ground up the middle into Center Perkins has it he's firing home throw will be offline and that's going to be two run score on the jack swinsky single up the middle so big hit there by the DH Jack seninsky Michael a Taylor up and Taylor that's a that's a call ball four right there held up on the check swing that's the bases load again for McCutchen who will drive that one to left center field that one's back high and over the wall into the bullpen a grand slam for Andrew mcut in his third home run on the season uh you love to see that for good old cutch as he's just coming in clutch so a big home run there extends the lead here for the Pittsburgh Pirates to six that is a six run third inning here for the Jolly Roger crew now up comes the manager here for the Milwaukee Brewers and Ashby's day is done no sentiment no pat on the back no good no good job kid nothing just the cold shower awaits Bryce Wilson out of the pen here five games one hold five in pitched a 506 er a 15% K rate right is batting two uh 200 and let batting 4555 against Bryce Wilson so far out of the Season yasmani grandall sends that one to center field that one will be caught that's fairly deep though but caught though to end the third inning South Relic leads things off here in the fourth that's a that's kind of a blooping hit there to center field that's caught though by Michael a Taylor he's got a lot of range to him I like the kid right here as he's just he gets it done William contras the catcher here he comes he sends that to left that's going to get down Reynolds can't cut it off it's going to roll to the wall and Brian Reynolds going to have himself a very bad throw now on that one's wide pulling Hayes into foul territory that's going to be a double advancing on the throwing eror there for William contris ree Hoskins up and Hoskins sends that one to Center Taylor underneath of it gets ready to charge up the throw the throw will be a heho janitor throw that one br mix to the infield grass the run will score with ease is a 6-1 game will adamus now and adamus will watch ball four go by that is going to be a runner on First with two outs in the inning that's the first walk of his career Ortiz up and Ortiz swings and misses at the change it's going to be the end of the fourth finally here for the young Jared Jones gwan Bay leads off the fourth sends that one to right fast ball down the shoot that's right to Jackson Chio and that's going to be out number one so one down now here in this fourth inning for the fifth with a strike out there 97 from Jared Jones that's going to be the eighth punch out of the game Blake Perkins who's 0 for one will strike out fast ball up and in pretty sure it's a job third strike not sure it happened there but ninth punch out of the game Mitchell 0 for one will strike out as well it's a 10 strike out Major League debut here for Jared Jones up comes Brian rounds one for two on the day grounds that one to the right side pass the diving South Relic into right field that's a leadoff single here for the main stay out in left field Brian Reynolds O'Neal Cruz up and Cru sles that one to frck who goes to adamus who goes to Hoskins in time that is going to be a 463 double play two outs now here in the fifth up come the five hole hitter Jack swinsky who's one for two with a 2 RBI single gets himself a walk there you go keeping the fifth inning alive making Bryce Wilson throw extra pitches Michael a Taylor chases the ball down and away that's going to be the end of the fifth there throw to first completes the out now on to the top of the six now Jared Jones still out there fast ball to Christian y sent to right field McCutchen has it he's going to make the catch for out number one so one down now here in the sixth inning uh for the Milwaukee Brewers South freck up 98th pitch of the campaign that's going to be bloop to left field Reynolds going to cut it off there heo throw that's going to be not in time freck has himself a one out double here in the top of the sixth inning second double in the season for S William contras up and he Strikes Out 99 up and in just gets absolutely jammed on it Hoskins up now and Hoskins drills that one to left that one's deep right just watches It Go second deck home run for reys Hoskins the long time Phillies main stay there throws up the horns and that's going to be a two-run home run his seventh of the season reys oskins does damage when he gets pitches there hit and Jones just left out a little too much in hoskin's wheelhouse so a two-run shot there makes this a 63 game here that's the first home run Allowed by Jarry Jones in his big league career out comes the Pittsburgh manager and well hey Jones had himself a very good game five and two thirds Innings pitched yeah that's going to be an upsetting ending to Jared Jones's day but he is still in line for the win doesn't get the complete game doesn't get the quality start but out of the pen Here Comes Martin Perez four games one and two record 23 in pitched a 470 ra a 14% K rate Ry Bang 232 L bang 313 against the Lefty Martin Perez so Lefty is doing better against the left-handed here but will Adamas sends that one to left field that one will be caught that's going to be the end of the sixth inning there Joe pampus he comes out of the pen here for the Brewers seven games two wins two holds 10 Innings pitched a 360 year right 9% K right Ready's bang 222 L's bang Buck 58 against Joel up comes Andrew McCutchen who will watch ball foro by his second walk of the game so McCutchen on first base for the second time of the game via the walk yasmani grandall 0 for two sends that to left and that's a base knock for the very slow footed yasmani grandall could have surprised that didn't throw a first on that one how slow he is uh but Runners on first and second G1 Bay up and Bay grounds that one to right McCutchen is going to stay put he's going to be rounding third as actually going to change his mind he's going to stay put actually so Bas is juice no one out here we have McCutchen on third we have grandal at second and Haye drives that one to left that one's back just shy of the warning track McCutchen tags up and for some reason so does grandal and he's out by about 12 half miles is a double play a what is that a left field third base double play on that one yeah Conor Joe up now Joe sends that to left that gets down grandall probably still wouldn't have scored he would probably get thrown at at third base now that I'm thinking about it two on two out here of a 73 Pittsburgh lead and now we're going to have the three hole hitter do up next Brian Reynolds who's two for three swings and misses at the low Sinker that's going to be end to the bottom of the sixth inning on now the top of the seventh and let's see who's going to be replacing none other than Martin Perez no and he's out there for his second inning of work first batter up Joseph Ortiz grounds that one down the Third Base Line caben Hayes makes the bang bang play that's out number one here in the top of the seventh inning uh so Ortiz is down out will come Garrett uh Jackson chrio 0 for two on the day sends that one to right field McCutchen will set her underneath that's going to be the second out here in the seventh so it's an overr performance there for Jackson cheio now up comes Blake Perkins over for two and he's 0 for three on the day with the punch out on now the bottom half of the seventh as the pirates still lead 73 Jacob junis out of the pen here for the Brewers seven games one loss one hold 16 Innings pitched a 606 erra 177% K rate Ray banging 364 L bang 241 against junis up comes O'Neal Cruz and Cruz sends that one right up the middle on the line that is going to be a leadoff single here on the full count in the bottom half of the seven then so one on no one out here as up comes Jack swinsky who sends that to right cherio will make the catch and that's going to be out number one here for the Pittsburgh Pirates so one down now here in the bottom half for the seventh inning as we're going to have up now the six old hitter Michael a Taylor Who's 0 for two grounds that one to third over to Second Around the Horn double play and that's going to end the seventh inning so now comes Ryan Bari here for the Pittsburgh pirats the former Toronto Blue Jay Prospect uh the hard throwing Lefty here now a bullpen roll three games two holds four Innings pitched no earn runs at 23% G rate Garrett Mitchell who's 0 for two will ground that one past the glove of caben Hayes in the left Brian Reynolds he thinks twice about it makes the good throw and that's going to be a runner on first for the lead off single Yelich up and Yelich sends that to left Reynolds going to get underneath of it he's going to make the catch throw to second in time for out number one so one down now here with the runner on first base uh we're going to have up now this two hitter South fre who will sent that one to right that one will be caught though by Andrew McCutchen for the second out throw will be wide that's going to be it's going to be kept in front of him more or less by O'Neal Cruz uh so bad throw there by mcin Cruz kind of Saves the Day on on it and up comes William one for three and that's going to be a walk way too far inside on that one I mean hey if you're that far inside just commit and hit the kid right there why don't you uh but up comes Hoskins now who will go down swinging or go down looking actually Big C strike three that's going to end the inning here on now the bottom half of the eighth as the pirates still lead 7 to3 Trevor McGill out of the pen here one game and third of an in and a 100% K rate gotcha this guy absolutely brutal Trevor mcel going to strike out everyone I get it just pack him up here Andrew McCutchen who's one for one with two walks who's one for two now with two walks and a strikeout poor Andrew Moten his perfect day is over you hate to see it you really do yasmani grandall one for three on the day he's actually going to be two for four on the day that one rolls all the way to the wall and for the normal person that's a double for money grandall he's out of breath at first next better up gwan Bay to Center that's going to get down grandall trots in the second Bay is at first and there you go two on one out here in the bottom half of the eighth inning now up comes krien Hayes who sends that to right all the runners are going to advance absolutely one base there we're not testing grandal speed it's not going to turn out pretty base is Juiced again in this one 73 lead for Conor Joe who swings and misses brutal swing and a miss right there by Conor Joe that's going to be the second punch up from Mill Brian RS up and Reynolds misses that one pops up the fast ball just laid on it the third baseman has and that's going to end the bottom half of the eighth on now the top of the ninth inning and we're going to have adamus Ortiz and Cho do up aus cabin out of the pen here six games four holds for in a third Innings pitch a 208 erra a 29% K rate Ray bang a buck 67 let bang a buck 11 against the hard throwing Aus Chapman first better up willia Damas who will watch ball for go by so lead off walk here for a Rus Chapman you hate to see that one for the Cuban Missile Joseph Ortiz up sends that to left that's a base knock Reynolds can't cuddle off that Rose to the wall Reynolds throw to the cutof man in time throw home will be in time as well they are gunned down at home adamis tries to go second or tries to go first to home gets gunned down now up comes Jackson triio who will swing the Miss of that 100 mph fast ball so there's two outs now here following the assist from The Outfield Blake Perkins up and Perkins to Second caught in the air by gwan Bay and the Pirates win this one by a final score of 7-3 so a big victory here for Pittsburgh they win Jared Jones's Major League debut you know the 47th Prospect in all of baseball you know the fourth best or third best Prospect in the pirate system gets the first one of his career in his first Major League start I mean let's see five and 2/3 four hits 11 strikeouts one walk Three earned runs the earned runs not great but he gets the victory McCutchen gets player of the game
