Preseason Coaches Poll Reaction

we got look fresh off of vac coaches pole Dro while I was in Mexico so you know we gonna talk about it man let's get to it man the pre-season coaches poll what is our reaction to what the coaches decided they wanted to say we going to see who we got that's ranked too high rank too low let's go ahead and talk about let me pull it up let me share the screen let's let's pull it up let's let's pull it up oh man here we go let's share a [Music] screen all right here we go so let so let's start we gonna go we gonna go down the line we we gonna keep on going so let's present it for you first top five we got Georgia I'll take that Ohio State H they should be the favorites after the way they loaded up this off season Oregon Oregon is interesting to me simply because this is their first year in the Big 10 that's a lot of faith people are putting in Oregon Texas one of my favorites to win the SEC although they got some crushing news star running back may or may not be out for the season we'll see you know we'll see what more test come along Bama oh definitely we gonna talk about that in just a moment Notre Dame Michigan pen State and Florida State rounds out your top 10 we'll stay right there for right now let's just let's focus on on the top 10 first and then we'll go down just a little bit now here's my thing oh me we gonna start right there so I'm G to go looking at that top 10 out of everybody in that top 10 the one team that I have an issue with that's sitting in the top 10 for me this is just me hey man listen if anybody want to disagree with it hey man do your thing I understand but just for me how in the hell do we have Old Miss as number six now I say that because I understand they had a good season last year ended with the win and the bowl and man I get it but here's my two cents about Old Miss and about Lane kein we have seen Lane kein do great things down in Old Miss we have he's he's done he's done he's done great job down at Old Miss clap clap clap and clap however when is Lane gonna win the big game y'all and I'm sorry until I see Lane win the big game I can't rock with it man I feel like right now looking at the top 10 out of everybody that's sitting there I feel like oh miss is overrated that's just me I mean they could prove me wrong and they have to change their opportunity too because guess what they do play Georgia they absolutely do play Georgia this year for me I need to see Old Miss actually win the big game and then I can consider them for me a top 10 team now I get it it's preseason he man look we got to talk about something we got to make polls everything has to be discussed I 100% understand but just at a quick glance looking at that top 10 right now just for me the one team that stands out the most for me is Old Miss I feel like they're a little bit overrated my number two team in the top 10 that seems to be I wouldn't say they're a little bit High because of the talent level that they have they have they have great coaching and they have talent but I'm gonna say the same if I'm gonna say that about Lan I got to say the same thing about or although Dan Lon you ain't been there long enough for us to say can you or can you not win the big game although you did lose both times to was last year I'm just saying and then now you have to do what you do in a whole new conference that houses one of the favorites to win the whole thing in Ohio State and the defending champion in Michigan not to mention a pen State team who only loses to Michigan and Ohio State for the last couple Seasons they have been fine they just cannot in the regular season of course they just cannot beat Ohio State and they can't beat Michigan now with without divisions the way it's looking I got to go back and look at the schedule you know we we'll see what pen state will be able to do that's the next team on the list pen State Franklin you've done a great job with coaching pen state but you're another one can you win the big game has yet to be seen because you have constantly repeatedly came up short against pen State I mean against Michigan and against Ohio State we have repeatedly come up short so frankly can you win the big game Texas one of my favorites I feel like Texas will be I I gotta bet with my partner I feel like Texas gonna be in the SEC title game he L at me like man man you crazy just saying I feel like Texas gonna be in the SEC title game no the D what do we do with Notre Dame what do we do with Notre Dame they got Riley Leonard so they have a they've gone back down to transer Porter rck with a QB you know last year they had Sam Haron now they got Riley Leonard is he 100% healthy will he be the Leonard that we know that was before he got hurt last year duke or will he be still trying to get his wits back and get back to himself time will tell and man we can't leave a conversation without talking we can't leave the top 10 without talking about Alabama I feel like Miro was in good hands now I sat on this show last year and I said it when people looked at me crazy I gave m a lot of credit even before the season I said hey if he's able to accomplish these certain things Alabama will be fine outside of losing the Texas which is what I predicted outside of that I said Alabama should be fine they gonna take some bumps and bruises but they should be fine and voila now granted it was a bumpy road to get there because fourth in a mile did happen AUB Au yeah I'm looking at you my homeboy Terry homeboy I'm just saying Auburn everything that happened lot of people want to blame a lot of people but let's be clear Auburn on L fourth in the mile none of everything that happened after that doesn't even man but I neither here nor there we're not talking about fourth in the mile we're talking about Alabama being in the top 10 of the coaches qu in the preseason I would just say this I think the boy is a comparable coach no matter what they tell you and they can argue me to the cows come home he was not their first choice he was not their second choice I'm leaning as far to say I don't think he was their third chice either just thing but however the case may be he's a comtable coach recruiting has been on fire this summer and you look at the talent that they've assembled you look at what the boys done in the past with quarterbacks so it leads you to believe that Alabama will be there now when we get to the SEC preview show which will be next week we'll discuss what we feel like they're gonna do but in the preseason poll I have no issues with Alabama being number five and at number one we got Georgia we got we got I'm locked won't let me out locked up I mean because they keep I mean every time you turn around somebody from Georgia getting arrested every single time we turn around somebody from Georgia getting arrested but that's neither here nor there that's neither here nor there they are where they are and this is one of those moments for Georgia you know Nick is gone Kirby is something like one and seven one and8 against Alabama since he's been at Georgia he has a big test I know you say how does this man got two champ Championship he got big he got a big test because at the end of the day alumni fans and people that spend a lot of money they appreciate the Championships they appreciate that they appreciate what Kirby has done but they also are frustrated as hell with the fact that he can't beat Alabama and I'm sorry y'all can miss me with like I'm not say I'm not I'm not saying Kirby will be on a hot seat if he loses to Alabama please do not miss my words but I am saying there's a lot of important people that's gonna be pissed off if he somehow manages to lose to Alabama yet again with a fresh new coach so and Mr Ryan day in Ohio State my goodness Mr Ryan day did Joe nil did Joe collectives did everybody come together to give you the best of the best you my sir are driving a Lamborghini Ferrari Bugatti whatever luxury vehicle you want to label it you are driving said vehicle Mr Ryan day and I don't think nothing less than at the bare minimum Big 10 title buying the payoffs that's the bare minimum with what has what has transpired in the offseason for Ohio State that I think your fans and people that spend the money to they spend are going to accept the bad minimum Mr Rye Mr oh oh however you do that [ __ ] they ain't accepting nothing but a big 10 title i e a big 10 title in the playoff by anything other than that if you mess around and let Oregon around and win the Big 10 in year one on your watch with what they invested into you but I'm just saying and then you got Michigan a lot of people think Michigan gonna fall off I don't know why I mean Chiron is a good coach look at last year lot that key win he was the coach because har was suspended he's been offensive coordinator okay they lose the quarterback all right they still got Donovan El they still got love they still got they still got weapons they may got you know they lose Roman you know the receipt but they still got weapons and their defense is nasty probably one of the best defenses in the nation depending on who you ask so for me I don't think that Michigan is gonna fall off as much as people may think they are but that's just me and then you round out the top 10 with FSU at number 10 hey man listen I think that's a good spot for Florida State me personally I know what we are returning the defense is going to be the strength of this team we got dju we pretty much gonna ask DJ U hey man we got a good ass defense on the other side of that ball man just don't [ __ ] it up just don't [ __ ] it up if if it ain't there we got a damn near all ACC punter and a hell of a defense so all Mike no is gonna ask you to do don't [ __ ] it up if it ain't there take it get out of bounds punt we live to fight another day you don't have to play as long as dju understands you don't have to play Hero ball Florida state is going to be fine and Florida State will be your ACC Champions just look we gonna get to that next episode we're doing the ACC Big 12 preview and then if you just scroll down just a little bit just a little bit we scroll down just a little bit you got scroll down just a little bit we got Missouri sitting there at number 11 and then you got LSU at 12 Utah Clemson Tennessee Miami at 19 and a we we close at hour hour out of all of those teams Beyond Florida State I will say the one team that I feel like that could possibly surprise a lot of people and could make some noise and I'm gonna say it again I've been saying it all season I'm gonna say it again it's Tennessee if Tennessee can somehow put it all together they face Alabama and they face Georgia if they could somehow split that which is not a very hard task to ask if they could somehow split that and handle their business elsewhere we could be having a whole that that whole Old Miss conversation that we talking about that whole Old Miss conversation about can Lane win the big game hypo did it he's done it so he did it a Nick just saying just saying just saying don't sleep on Tennessee and what Nico can possibly do and then when you get down when you get on down and you look a little further they got a lot of faith in Oklahoma jurry still out on them and you get all the way down to Miami USC Iowa I mean the did a good job of this poll I think I don't really think it's a lot to I don't really necessarily think it's a lot to just be like oh my God they got it all wrong but that's just me I mean I think I think they did I think they did a good job with the with the top with with the preseason top 25 pole coaches poll I'm cool with it I'm interested to see as we get closer does things change but we'll see um we're going to see so for me this is going to be a short one not not goingon to hold you long this is just a reaction to get us back into the saddle um after this one after this episode this should be live today is
