[Music] I'm in San Diego California and I will be meeting Jonathan's family today Jonathan makes me feel very seen and understood which I need in a partner and we're very similar in a lot of ways we can have fun together all the time which I love but Jonathan talks a lot about how he has an emotional wall up and it's hard for him to be vulnerable and he hasn't expressed his feelings for me yet so my biggest hope is that he really can start to open up to me because I want to be able to see him as my future fiance Hi how are you you're a little hty oh I missed you more how are you I'm good how are you doing good you're look good it's been a while I know welcome to San Diego I love it have you been here before I've never been here but I've been to San Diego okay so this is my hometown okay we have some unfinished business that we need to take care of H let's go have some fun okay let's good come on same excited as an understatement every time we hang out we pick up exactly where we left off same energy same fun same Smiles so we have a whole setup I'm so excited I'm going to show you up both and I played lacrosse in college and it's one of those weird random things you don't get to share with that many people it's still a relatively small sport I got a little matching jerseys amazing I love that check these out with my number on it I love this we're going to have some fun have a wide open field and just mess around a little bit 3 2 1 go can you do a round off is that where you go like you know what Jonathan we can have so much fun together and we have this great physical chist together there you go feel like I'm back in high school I haven't played lacrosse in so long so I have a partner be able to see the side of me like I'm just so excited I feel at peace right now right you're not shooting from right there gotcha play with Jonathan It Feels So natural it feels like this is something we'd be doing on a Saturday with our kids one day nope it's going in anyways what that was out of bounds you little cheater so I think the most special thing about Jen and I is that unspoken energy it's fun it's exciting it's sexy yeah it's beyond special I let you score that one we both have strong feelings for one another but I think the internal battle for me is like I've been lied to in my past relationship and it kind of stops me from jumping into things too quick I want to make sure everything with you feels good going into tonight yeah I think tonight is going to be really great for us and helpful to break down some more walls and to continue progressing the way we want to so I'm hopeful that tonight's going to go well as far as the walls like yeah I think there's obviously walls you know I know that was because of the relationship I told you about that just was really tough for me obviously like I was lied to after two years I know and you know you believe good and well that everything's like great up until that point and then you find out something about a person is not what you thought at all mhm I just want to be able to help you break through that and like get to that trust with me and like get to a point where you do feel comfortable and sharing everything I mean I told you weeks ago I can see something here mhm it's it's a hard feeling to explain because it's like mhm I don't use the term like love lately so it's like I don't want to say love if I'm not fully there you know my worst nightmare would be for you to be like why do you love me and may not be able to answer wholeheartedly and honestly mhm I totally appreciate Jonathan's honesty and being so open about where he's at but it worries me that he isn't able to fully lean into his feelings for me I mean Jonathan's talked a lot about how his family is huge for him when he's in a relationship to allow him to trust so I know that today will be very important for Jonathan and important for our relationship I mean I think it just comes back to like letting your walls down like that emotional intimacy and like when you finally really do let me into everything like I think that will speak wonders to us I cannot wait to introduce her to my family the stakes are massive I want to see what my family thinks I want to see her interact with my family are you ready let's do it I want to see it for myself to know whether or not I can get to the point of saying that I'm falling for it
